Your Personal Favourite Achievement/Success Story

Recommended Posts

So what is everyones personal success with any of your games?

Whether it be getting a project worker to a very respectable level where he/she can crack out that much sought after C- grade. Or did you finally work up to getting that PPV deal?

A few of mine have been the following...

NHB Mod - I took AWA to the Number 1 promotion in the world.

CVerse - Took a North UK 0/0/0/1000 promotion to Cult status.

CVerse - Took a Randall Hopkirk regen who's highest top-row and performance stat was D- to Main Event status and by the time I was done had a B in brawling and A's across Entertainment.

Doing all of these things pretty much gave me that level of fulfillment from that particular save that I moved onto the next game after these personal goals.

Anyone else set themselves aims that they were most proud of, no matter how small?

It is probably (essientially) winning the east coast wars with RPW.

Super regional companies prevented them from folding but I had all of their best guys anyways. I got up to 2003 on the brink of National before I had to switch computers.

I snagged Remo as soon as he debuted in 2002 and he was my main guy with Morisette at the time.

The company was made on the back of the Steve Flash/Bryan Holmes feud. Tommy Cornell got involved and won the title before leaving (for HGC) but coming back to win the title 2 years to the day that he lost it to the same Bryan Holmes reign.

It was like a super indy company

A couple of my personal favorite accomplishments....

-Obvious one is going from local to global. Started off as old-school/sports entertainment based Washington State Wrestling, then became Western States Wrestling when I wen regional, then All-Star Championship Wrestling at national/international, and Global Wrestling Elite at global.

-Taking a relative nobody from Japan (Zeshin Makioko) and turning him into the SWF World Heavyweight Champion. Took about six years from signing to winning the title.

-Making BigForce (Big Smack Scott and Jim Force) the longest reigning USPW Tag Team champions in the history of the company. (This is a favorite mostly because I thought it would be funny when I started, and it just kept getting funnier over the four years that they held the titles.)

-My all time favorite is booking a six-month feud in SWF (Sean McFly vs Angry Gilmore) based almost entirely on the King Diamond album "The Graveyard." I changed certain elements of the tale (if you're familiar with the album, you know what needed to be changed and why) and stretched it so it would fit my needs. For the duration, it was my top feud, garnering the highest ratings of any show (no surprise, I guess, when you consider who was involved.) It also only involved 2 matches between the two during the whole feud, one at the beginning, one at the end.

Taking time to actually get into the game! The depth was overwhelming at first but I'm finally to where I get it mostly.

This is my only game I've played besides a few trial runs, using the 1987 mod I was very proud to push Vader from a nobody to a main eventer. It felt like a big accomplishment at the time. I've had a 96 & 98 rated match so when I get to 100 finally, that will be a big accomplishment. I'm knocking on the door of that one.

Getting WWF to Global. I'm sure I could do it faster if I were to start again but that was my main goal when starting even though it's only 1 level up.

Being able to get a months worth of shows in and a ppv in 1 day now. It was taking me hours to make 1 card. Right now just little things like that! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Booked my first TEW2010 event. I'm using real world data and took over ownership of GWE. I wasn't concerned with putting on a good event as much as not blowing through the $10k I started with and going broke. Even then, I expected to just break even.

To my surprise, I'm up $50k. Sponsors sure are helpful in this version!

Not much of an achievement, but in TEW2005 I'd usually run out of money, so this was a nice change for me.
