UngratefulDead
First time poster here but a big fan of the game, although it's held back from the level of some other sports sims I enjoy because of the inability to do the one thing I want to do most: control every promotion in the game. My biggest timesink is a baseball sim that allows you to have multiple leagues operating simultaneously under human or AI control letting you sort of sit back and play god while observing the results. I actually thought I'd come up with an extremely convoluted workaround to do this in WMMA: I created one huge promotion to sign every fighter in the game with the intent to use roster spreadsheets (something I already do) to separate the promotions and naming my events "ALPHA-1: whatever" or "BCF 3" etc. Since you can edit the popularity and home region of your promotion it would also be possible to hold events in the proper locations and have separate popularity totals for each promotion (by tracking them in a separate document before and after each fight). PPV contracts can be handled the same way by using a single PPV carrier but modifying the regions before each event. There'd be no effective way to simulate fighter contracts very well but since I want to matchmake for the entire world that's not really the aspect of the game I would want to be spending time on. Unfortunately, the dealbreaker as many of you have probably already thought of, is that there seems to be no way to schedule more than two regular events in a calendar month and I don't even know how TV shows will figure into that. So, yeah, not sure why I'm posted other than to a) lament or 2) the slim hope that some clever soul here has a better workaround. I don't know whether this game is still being patched or if there's a sequel in the works, but I can't be the only person who would love an option to control multiple promotions, can I? BHK1978
First off welcome to the board! No you are not the only one who likes to do that. I like to do that as well. I assume you are talking about OOTP in regards to the baseball game that you are playing. Well I do the exact same thing as you do, I love being in control of the entire universe. As far as the topic of this thread, well I cannot think of any work around that would allow you to do what you want to do.
Themis Pi
Love the fact that i always run into OOTP Fans in most forums that i visit... It is like a proof that i made the correct choice
alexgem
I had a longterm game running where once I became the number one promotion I decided to hire as many fighters as I could and I ended up with owning about 2/3 of the fighters in the game(default database) . As you can guess keeping up with contrat renewals was a nightmare, but I was somehow able to book fighters at a decent pace, holding every event with 20 matches and fitting as many TV shows as I could (don't remember the specific numbers sorry). Between injuries, high level fighters taking time off, I booked almost anyone at least as much as they are in real life. Surely it's not a perfect solution, I have the same "god complex" as you, so I'd really like an option to control multiple promotions, at least those owned by me, it's my biggest wish both in WMMA and in TEW. Good luck with your endeavour, it can be done

This would be a great addition to any future WMMA game.
