I'm not sure, but I think you must have misunderstood something, as that doesn't make sense. You don't have to search for anything. You download the installer file and run it, and that will install the game to the location you choose. You can then either play it via the shortcuts that are added (if you chose to include them) to the desktop and taskbar, or you can run it directly from whatever folder you installed to by double clicking wrespi.exe.

Are you talking about game modifications, Kazarian? By that, I mean real world data? Demos are demonstrations of the actual game. There are two variants available for download: the retail version of the full game and the demo, which allows you to play for an in-game month. Your questions seem to indicate you've got your terms confused.

Well, I bought the game when it pretty much first came out, but then I lost the disk, I'm thinking of buying it again, so I wan't to try the demo again, and I want to try different scanario's with the demo.

Ah! Well, here is a link to the demo. Here is a link to the WreSpi mods section. There are currently three scenarios available - Ransik's modern day Reality Check, TeeZee's Real World Update (another modern one), and the Death of the Territories, which is set in 1984. Hope that helps.
