Little Willy leads WANG to the ring as the show begins. Snatching the microphone from Kay Fabe, he makes his way to the centre of the ring.

“What...” he begins, “exactly... made whoever's making the matches here... think that WANG was done with its Trios title campaign?

“Why are other people getting shots? People who've done a lot less winning since we got here?”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/ShayKinsella.jpg

And Shay Kinsella's music hits. After a few moments, the living legend emerges. Da Commish hangs back, holding a microphone of his own.

“I'm amazed I have to explain this to you, Willy,” he says. “Out of everyone we've got on the POW roster, I'd think that you, above all, would understand that sometimes, when you try... your efforts just... end... prematurely... in disappointment.

“And that's happened here. Really, it's for your own good. You're trying to get your group all over POW, and realistically, that's too big a task. You should know that, Willy.”

He drops his mic and walks back out. Little Willy, apparently genuinely confused, fires back “Are you seriously saying we don't get another shot because I'm short?”

Frat Pack (Bingington & Patel) vs. Glenview Bad Boyz

The undercard knuckle down and give the fans their best shot, but as yet, the crowd isn't into it. All four men have some way to improve, but their dedication and their love of the sport is nonetheless blazingly obvious. Scott Bingington is the man given the honour of the win here, finishing Lil Swag with the Spring Break Suplex.

On DVD presentations, the next segment carries an EARLIER TODAY watermark across the bottom of the screen, as Ebi Kadivar reclines in his hammock and Arabic music plays. Kadivar is again puffing reflectively on his hookah as the knock sounds on the door.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/FordMemphis.jpg

“Enter,” Kadivar calls, sitting up to recard his visitor... and Ford Memphis makes his way through the bead curtain.

“How y'all doin'?” Memphis asks. Kadivar seems confused.

“My friend,” he begins. “I am surprised that you have come here. You are putting yourself in danger – and after all, is that not why you entrusted the Undiscovered Championship to Charles and myself?”

Memphis nods slowly. “Uh-huh,” he acknowledges. “But I got a lil antsy, Ebi, an' I wanted what was mine.

“You an' Chuck, your trail was pretty easy f'r someone who knows ya. It's a hound like Prophet who can't sniff ya out.

“An' that's why he's not got it.”

“So... what do you want to know, Ford?”

Sheepishly, Ford produces a cloth bag. “I wanna know where we hide this darn thing this time...”

Kadivar sits bolt upright. “You have it? Here?

“Relax; I've got friends here. It'll be out o' the arena afore the Prophet arrives.”

Kadivar relaxes slightly. “Alright. I must say, it's a relief to know where it is. When Prophet didn't find it, I thought – perhaps the fallen angel-”

Memphis smiles, then shakes his head. “Around somethin' like this... angels fear to tread.”

Discotheque vs. Earl Ray Travis & Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II

A great showing by Discotheque, demonstrating once again why they remain Sidekicks champions – though their opponents do quite well for a while, before the champs isolate Earl Ray Travis, who takes a pounding for a while before they connect the Gone Platinum gory bomb/cutter combo to score the win.

Backstage on DVD, Ebi Kadivar and Nevada Van Sant sit backstage. Charles Vine walks past, stopping to look at them for a moment, then smiling.

“Don't worry,” he says softly. “If I beat him tonight, the threat's done. We can collect the Championship and keep its power safe. Wrestling will stay as its fans know it; as its fans love it.”

Kadivar nods; after a moment, so does Van Sant, who also offers a small fake smile.

Vine returns the smile and heads down the corridors toward his match. Ebi glances toward Van Sant and smiles.

“What?” she demands.

“He matters to you, doesn't he?” Kadivar smiles. “No matter. Now, he'll be tested.”

Charles Vine vs. Christian Prophet

A stirring first one-on-one match, and a good one, with both submission specialists unleashing their best to force the other to submit. It's quite a change from a typical POW match, and that may be why it's received as well as it is; nonetheless, in the end, it's Christian Prophet who gets the upper hand, ultimately choking Charles Vine into unconsciousness to pick up the victory.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/EbiKadivar.jpghttp://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/StallionStanley.jpg

Ebi Kadivar comes to the ring, followed by newcomer Stallion Stanley. After a few moments, Dreamscape's music hits, but it's not them who comes out first.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/ChristianProphet.jpg

Instead, out comes Christian Prophet. He pauses a few paces in front of the entrance, holding his hands out, palms-down, at waist height. And fog begins to flow below and around him, up to perhaps two feet in height.

Prophet moves forward, slowly, to the ring, the fog following him. He pauses before the steps, turning his hands over, now palms upward, and raises them to shoulder height.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/Frightening.jpghttp://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/Scaremare.jpg

And Dreamscape rise out of the fog, halfway to the ring. Their masks remain the same, but they now wear costume over their torso, too, just their arms unhidden as they approach the ring.

“Last month,” the Chef muses, “they seemed to be falling apart. Now...”

“...now they're back,” Memphis agrees. “Back outta some crazy N'awlins gumbo fog...”

Ebi Kadivar & Stallion Stanley vs. Dreamscape

Dreamscape do indeed seem revitalised, and Kadivar seems terrified by the time the match is halfway through as the undead warriors take it to him and his newfound ally before ultimately seeing Frightening lock Stanley into a new submission hold. The Stallion taps in panic.

Shay Kinsella vs. John Thomas w/ Jenna Talia

Kinsella has a hard time against John Thomas, who recently declared himself on Twitter “The Real” John Thomas – a name his twitter followers and the Buccaneer seem to think he's used in the past. Thomas' hard suplexes nearly put it away twice.

Nonetheless, Shay fights back, and before too long he's up to his old tricks, clearly enjoying himself far too much – even when Big Bo Lox runs down and takes a swing with the Purple Helmet, which Shay ducks easily, before nailing the Urbana Native on John Thomas to pick up the win.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/JohnnyWells.jpg

Johnny G Wells' music plays and the fifth generation futurist comes out, accepting the microphone from Kay Fabe. He's still wearing the double-shoulder exoskeletal rig.

“How you all doing?”

The fanbase reaction is there, but it's fairly lukewarm. He smiles. “Winning. So, listen – I'm out here to have a word with Fargo Korben. You around, Fargo?”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/FargoKorben.jpg

After a few moments, Korben's music hits and he comes out.

“Alexia Dynamite?” Wells asks. “You threw a former champion in my way? On the second match?”

Korben chuckles, snatching the mic from Wells.

“You betchasirreeBob,” he announces. “A true blue Kalamazoo grapstler is ready to rumblestiltskin anytimeplace against any manjack womanjane could happen. You bisn't ready, futurama.”

Wells pulls the mic back toward him. “Maybe it's just me, but I figured you'd be putting roadblocks in my way that didn't have records better than yours.”

“Blother, what I strategerised isn't illiterate in th' rules an' regulators o' bammalamma grapstling. Plain an' simples, you 121 episodes an' 56 awardsed. Gameboy out of batteries, blother! Blowdry the cartridge pinballs and swiggle them in their semicirculous setting!”

He throws down the microphone and stalks out.

Wells again looks more or less lost after that lengthy rant, but after a few moments he reaches down and picks up the microphone.

“Are you... ducking me?” He seems unable to believe it. “What – why? Are you... some kind of chicken?”

Korben freezes mid-stride, then wheels round and strides back to the ring.

“See if you can win this one, blother,” he grates. “Oh – and one other thing.”

He slaps Wells hard enough to knock the former stuntman to the ground.

Johnny G Wells vs. Richard Ryder w/ Jenna Talia

These two seem unable to get on the same page, which definitely hurts how good the match could be, but it's a solid thing. Wells takes a beating from the WANG man throughout, and Ryder eventually gets in position for the End of the Dirt Road, knocking Wells down. He crashes to the mat, but his exoskeleton forces his shoulder up before the pinfall.

Wells is out on his feet; at Talia's insistence, Ryder immediately sets up a second. This time, though, the exoskeleton is ready; it catches the big boot, throws Ryder off balance, and moves straight into the Moreau Maul before jerking Wells forward to land sprawled on his opponent in a pin – which gets the victory.

DVD presentations cut to a shot of the Ohio Jewish Center's exterior as a limo pulls up. As the man in the maid's suit emerges from the car, Da Commish comes out to meet him, all smiles.

“You must be the Machine,” he says. “Is the First Lady with you?”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/JessGilmour-Hart.jpg

Meido Machine bows slightly in acknowledgement, then opens the back door, allowing Jess Gilmour-Hart, the first lady of wrestling, to emerge gracefully. “Commissioner Kinsella,” she says, in her best stab at a plummy royal accent. “It's a pleasure to meet you. Shall we talk contracts?”

Alexia Dynamite, All Hallow's Eve, Little Willy & WMD w/ Jenna Talia

A hectic but good main event introduces Puerto Rico's fan favourite Poco Loco to the crowd. Santana Jr plays straight man to a trio of strange luchadors, and while their enemeies are dangerous, the question becomes whether they can cope with the unpredictable nature of Poco Loco or the Dojo's mastery of the timestream.

WMD responds by being her usual devastating self. Dynamite focuses on Santana Jr. Little Willy aims to match the Dojo for height and style – and at one point the man actually beats them for hangtime on a moonsault, although that turns out to be a bad idea when El Scorcho rolls out of the way, still in slo-mo. All Hallow's Eve has her skills as a fighter and her powers of persuasion – but in the end, as she snares Santana, Sky Panther gets her with a Slo-Mo Stunner from nowhere, shoving Santana out of the ring to become the legal man, and scores with the pin.

WMD isn't happy about that. Immediately, Panther gets nailed with a lariat. El Scorcho flies to his rescue, but WMD catches him and powerbombs him down on his partner. Santana Jr charges and eats a boot; Poco Loco's charge sees him backdropped out of the ring. The champion climbs the ropes and nails the stacked Slo-Mo Dojo with a Tactical Air Strike... and the Funeral March begins to play.

This time, Santana and Loco intercept the funeral crew, half-carrying, half-dragging the Dojo men out instead.

Wrestling Royalty (Jess Gilmour-Hart & Meido Machine) vs. Glenview Bad Boyz (Brian King & Lil Swag)

Bad Boyz haven´t impressed so far, to be honest I don´t have much idea about Jess but Meido is pretty talented and his weird gimmick might actually work in POW.

Alexia Dynamite vs. Stallion Stanley

Not much idea about Stanley either (I really need to play jhdverse more) but since he lost to Dreamscape last month I doubt he´s big enough name to go over Alexia.

Frat Pack (Darius King & Freshman Patel) vs. Team WANG (John Thomas & Richard Ryder) w/ Jenna Talia

Frat Pack has done better than I expected and losing to Wells lowered Ryder´s stock in my eyes but still WANG just feels stronger team to me.

Shay Kinsella vs. Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II

Squash.

El Hot Dog & Scott Bingington vs. Complete Package (Big Bo Lox & Little Willy) w/ Jenna Talia

Squash number two.

Johnny G. Wells vs. Fargo Korben

I could see this one going either way but I give the bigger guy a win.

The Seekers (Charles Vine & Ebi Kadivar) vs. Dreamscape (Frightening & Scaremare)

Another could go either way but I see Seekers as stronger team overall.

Wrestling Royalty vs. Glenview Bad Boyz

For the Bad Boyz, this is a stunningly good contest; for the newcomers, it's an indication, more than anything else, of just how high the limit might be on them. Meido Machine is as the name suggests; a chain wrestling sensation. And Jess Gilmour-Hart lives up to the Hart family name. The Boyz are, simply, outclassed, with Jess eventually putting Brian King into the figure-four to earn the submission.

On DVD we see the Boyz trudge back, heads bowed in defeat. As they pass the cafeteria, In An English Country Garden is playing. “I say, chaps?” a voice calls. They stop and look at each other; Li'l Swag looks frustrated, while King seems a little more open; with a head-tilt, he indicates they should go in, and they do. The camera follows them.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/GeoffreyWestminsterII.jpg

Lt. Westminster II has pushed the boat out a little further here; he's bought actual china, scavenged up a teapot, and is currently pouring steaming tea into three cups.

“My sympathies on your defeat, chaps,” he says. “But you're young, and it's not the opening shots that decide a war. It's perseverance.

“Perserverance... and moral fortitude. Here – Earl Grey tea, with a hint of lemon. Best source of moral fortitude I've ever found.”

Lil Swag pauses. “What the hell is that?”

“Why, it's tea, of course. I did just say.”

Swag leans across to King. “Told you, homes. Whack.”

Westminster looks up, apparently somewhat puzzled. “You make it sound like some kind of drug...”

“S***, dogg, caffeine's a drug, yo. Worse withdrawal than heroin.”

King looks at Swag oddly. “Who the hell told you that, bro?”

“Yo, man, you remember that year I wasn't around? Moms forced me down to USCS, did a year pre-med.”

Brian King stares at his partner for a while. Swag shrugs. “It was whack.”

Westminster sighs. “Gentlemen, if we are to unite on any more permanent basis, I need to be sure you've been fully trained.

“I propose to enrol you in my own personal variation of the Royal Air Force officer's training programs.”

King and Swag exchange glances, then sit down beside one another. King reaches out and takes a sip, hesitantly, from his teacup.

A goodish match, not as good as the opener but solid, with the lothario Stanley doing his best to impress and overpower his opponent. Alexia doesn't seem terribly impressed, however; she fights back well, ultimately hitting her pose/Fist Full of Dynamite combo to KO Stanley and pick up a pin.

Backstage goes the camera for the folks watching DVD or download feeds, with WANG stood backstage. John Thomas and Richard Ryder are taping their wrists ahead of their match.

“Right,” Jenna says briskly. “Kinsella can put whatever rules he wants in front of us. It's time to teach him a lesson. So – item one, Frat Pack get slapped by WANG.” She gestures at a list, out of sight, on her clipboard. “John, Dick, that's you. Ram it down their throats.”

“Next up, item two... Sidekicks championship.” A nod. “Yeah. We're one point off on the Pecking Order, and with the right sweet-talking, I got Shay to include more Frat Pack in that one, too. So tonight, one more win, we get a title shot. Obviously, Bo, Willy, that's you.

“OK, so, good.” She taps the clipboard. “One last item. John – Willy has something down here about personal grooming. Willy?”

Little Willy shrugs. “It's just... well, it's about looking professional, John. You've got that whole frizzy thing going on – isn't it time you had a trim?”

Thomas shifts uncomfortably. “Whenever I do that my head looks a weird size...”

Frat Pack (King & Patel) vs. Team WANG (Thomas & Ryder) w/ Jenna Talia

Not the greatest of contests, but those fans who have enthusiasm are strongly for the Frat Pack, strongly anti-WANG. When Darius King, much to the fans' surprise, gets the Three Point Stance on John Thomas, there's a strong pop. When Freshman Patel sacrifices himself to ensure the pin, the pop returns.

Da Commish' music hits, and Shay Kinsella struts down to the ring, talking cheerfully with the crowd and rolling into the ring. He looks toward Kay Fabe and claps his hands, beckoning for the microphone. She tosses it to him, and Shay snatches it out of the air.

“As your Commish, I had a few opportunities present themselves this month,” he begins. “I had to take a looooooooooooooooooooooong look at the way this company's going. We've sprung for a lotta contracts since I came on board... and I'm thinking we've seen some great matches out of it...”

He lets the crowd approve.

“So I've got some good news and some bad news. Bad news first? Alright.

“I was presented with a big opportunity, and I've got to say, I had to sit down and consult with da Commish for a good while, but in the end, we had to go with it. It made way too much sense to pass up. Bad news is, you're gonna have to find your way to a different city next month, because, for Ring of Leaves, and here's the good news to go with the bad... we've gotta settle ourselves into a bigger place!”

He lets the applause and enthusiasm die down a little. “I know, I know,” he says. “But this is important. Tell your friends, tell your girlfriends, tell your boyfriends, tell your families, tell enemies you don't mind having a little joy in their lives, tell your workplaces, tell random strangers on the street – because there's room for them to come in, now, and see what wrestling has become, and what wrestling CAN be!”

Again, he waits for the reaction to die down. “Awright,” he grins. “And speaking of what wrestling CAN be, a couple months back I wrestled some RAF pilot or whatever, and you know what? He wasn't half bad.

“So for you guys, I'm gonna wrestle him again, see if you have as much fun this time around.

“I'm just hoping he's left his water balloons at home.”

Shay Kinsella vs. Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II

It's not as good as their first contest – but then, this time, the fans knew that the two could be good, and there's no surprise to buoy up their reaction even further. The Lieutenant has clearly come on leaps and bounds, too, carrying much more offence than he did in the first encounter – but in the end, Shay kips up when Westminster's atop the turnbuckle, catching him with the Urbana Native as he flies to pick up the pin.

The makeshift duo do their best, but they're clear sacrificial lambs against an increasingly dangerous, increasingly coherent duo in Complete Package, who dominate this match with their down-to-earth grappling. In the end, Big Bo Lox carries this one, connecting the Bologna stalling brainbuster on El Hot Dog again.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/ChristianProphet.jpghttp://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/AllHallowsEve.jpg

The lighting rig seems to dim, casting the Ohio Jewish Center into shadow, and Christian Prophet's music echoes through the arena. Prophet himself emerges in long leather robes – a new addition to his look – with All Hallows Eve close behind.

Prophet goes straight into the ring; Eve snatches the mic from Kay Fabe, placing her hand in Kay's face and shoving, knocking the ring announcer back on her backside before rolling into the ring and offering the mic to Prophet as an acolyte might offer a sacrificial dagger. Suddenly, the lights intensify again until the room is once more normally lit.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/FordMemphis.jpg

Prophet takes the microphone... and turns to stare at the commentation station. Slowly, he raises his hand, extends a finger to point at Ford Memphis.

”Thief,” he hisses into the mic. ”Coward. Failure. Nobody.

Memphis returns his gaze, stony-faced.

“You,” Prophet continues, “have colluded with others to keep me from the Undiscovered Championship. These others can be understood; they wish it for themselves,” (“They don't seem to, you know!” the Chef points out hotly) “but you... you are no wrestler, now, hmm?”

Prophet smiles, the skullteeth glittering ominously. “Except you still crave the Championship. Still a wrestler at heart...

“Next month, at Ring of Leaves, I will wrestle you. This is not a challenge... this is not a threat... this is not a promise... this is your fate.”

He tosses the mic idly in Kay's general direction and leaves, henchwench in tow.

Johnny G Wells vs. Fargo Korben

A goodish contest, but what was something of a strong showing the first time doesn't look so surprisingly good as POW's output improves. Wells has an advantage in the early going, using his exoskeleton to counter Korben's chain wrestling.

Fargo realises this, though, and switches focus. Ripping a chunk of the 'exoskeleton' out from one shoulder, he takes control, hoisting Wells onto his shoulders for the Ramboisterous Racket – but the untrapped arm is the cyber-wrapped arm, and its programming refuses to tap! Korben releases and goes for it again – Moreau Maul attempt blocked, then Fargo rips the other arm off and goes for the Racket again, this time forcing the submission.

Korben stands over the downed Wells, catching his breath.

He beckons toward Kay Fabe, who tosses him the microphone. Korben nudges Wells with his foot, shaking his head.

“Bain't ready-to-eat,” he begins. “Movietacular cinematic endings disn't the be-all endoscope o' wresplinting. A bammalamma grapstler bisn't someterfuge from ward robe and makeup sex. Takeovers railtrains goin' daily bread for monthsandyears until ye're chiseled from sheer steelonium, tactifications like a human Deep Blue an' couraging bulls like King Arthuriana.

“Grapslting takes three yearlings o' sacrifice t'be able t'call your selfimage.”

Dreamscape's new, deadlier style really gets played up here. Kadivar and Vine have demonstrated their remarkable skill for months now, but this time they're being overpowered and shut down at every turn. Scaremare is the one who ultimately seizes the victory, forcing Ebi Kadivar to submit to the Scariest Move Ever.

Sky Panther vs. WMD ©

A heck of a fight by Panther, but this third contest is the one that seals the deal; WMD may not be able to topple the Slo-Mo Dojo in tag team competition, but Sky Panther cannot stand against her in singles. He tries so hard, but WMD manages to counter the Slo-Mo Stunner, nailing a Northern Lights Suplex in slow motion – a move which seems even more demonstrative of her strength than most – and even slowed down, Tiny Jackson gets the count for the first fall.

As time returns to normal speed, WMD keeps up an assault. A backfist appears to knock Panther out, but before Jackson can confirm that, WMD hits a Tactical Air Strike. The second pinfall comes stunningly fast – and Panther has fallen without a fall to his name?

“This is a downright depressin' way of endin' a show, uh-huh,” Ford Memphis declares, as Panther's body is loaded into the coffin. “She's gotta be breakin' at least regional records for kills!”

“Well, that's gonna get worse,” the Buccaneer says. “But this wraps it for this arena, at least. Twenty-five times men were killed in here. But for the Ohio Jewish Center, the curse has been lifted. We'll see you guys at Ring of Leaves next month – same bat-time, new bat-place!”

On board and caught up now with this one...

El Hot Dog vs. WMD

El Hot Dog may just be the world's greatest jobber. :p

Wrestling Royalty (Jess Gilmour-Hart & Meido Machine) vs. Earl Ray Travis & Fargo Korben

Always interested to see what people do with my creation ;) Anyway Wrestling Royalty look the better team here.

Charles Vine, Ebi Kadivar & Nevada Van Sant vs. All Hallows Eve, Frightening & Scaremare

From what I've read thus far, I'm giving the edge to the Halloween Party heels.

Frat Pack (Scott Bingington & Freshman Patel) vs. Team WANG (John Thomas & Richard Ryder) w/ Jenna Talia

WANG hae been all over the show without actually looking all that dominant, so this could go either way. Saying that I'm leaning towards WANG.

Johnny G Wells & Stallion Stanley vs. Glenview Bad Boyz

Glenview Bad Boyz aren't much higher than jobbers but Johnny G Wells and Stallion aren't exactly high on the POW totem pole either, so I've got to give the edge to the proper team here.

#1 Contenderhip to the Grand Championship

ELIMINATION

Poco Loco vs. Shay Kinsella vs. Alexia Dynamite vs. Lt. Geoffrey C. Winchester II

Shay's just had a shot , Alexia's a heel and as for Winchester I don't think he's title material- so that leaves the newcomer Poco Loco.

Christian Prophet vs. Ford Memphis

I think this feud will have some legs, so my feeling is that Memphis will get the 'win' here. I say 'win' because I think this will end in a DQ with Prophet destroying Memphis post match.

Not sure where to go here. Winchester is out by default as he hasn´t done enough, Alexia is heel so she us pretty unlikely option too. Loco might be an option but he´s new and personally I don´t like the idea of putting new guy straight to title match so I go with Kinsella-.

The reaction as WMD's aides with the coffin come out is as strong as it's ever been, if not stronger. POW audiences are noted for chants you'd never hear anywhere else, but one thing that's new even to then is a discordant group attempt to sing “Amazing Grace.”

Wrestling Royalty vs. Earl Ray Travis & Fargo Korben

An astonishing back-and-forth in the early stages turns into a strong showing by Wrestling Royalty in the early stages, with Gilmour-Hart outclassing her opponents while Meido Machine both bemuses and blindsides them. In the end Earl Ray Travis is almost abandoned by Korben, and Jess locks in the figure-four – but daintily, as if unwilling to touch more of the hillbilly than is absolutely necessary to make him tap.

“I'll take good old British know-how, moral fibre, and a cup of Darjeeling over your methods, Ebi,” Vine says with a smile that takes the sting out of it. Van Sant, on the other hand, takes a long toke, then looks back to Vine.

DVD production again reveals WANG working out. Jenna consults her clipboard. “OK. Dick, John – not the best showing last time, less said about that the better. I do have to warn you, you are losing your respective grip on the S.H.A.F.T. Slipping down like this is bad, but you can jerk yourselves right back up with a win today. So get in there, get down and dirty, and I want to see quick, violent action.” She taps the clipboard again, evidently convinced in her own mind that that point is addressed. Nobody in the room appears to have perceived anything untoward with her phrasings.

“Moving on... Alright. Bo, Willy. The Sidekicks Championship. We all know this is the big one, at least for right now – I'm getting closer to Shay, I think, and I should be able to schmooze another Grand Championship bid from him sooner rather than later. But for now, this is the big one. I want all your attention on getting this done, because if you pull this off, well, WANG's already huge, but we could be talking explosion here; we could be seeing the results of your efforts all over the place.”

The Frat Pack (Bingington & Patel) vs. Team WANG (Ryder & Thomas) w/ Jenna Talia

A goodish contest, with the Pack again bringing their very best. This time, however, WANG have something to prove and they lay it out on the line. The whole thing gets very brutal before John Thomas herds both of the Pack into the same corner, only for Ryder to come in and nail them both with the End of the Dirt Road.

Once again, the DVD audience are treated to an unusual shot. Captioned EARLIER TODAY, we see the Bad Boyz clad in their characteristic bling and...

...a white T-shirt? And white shorts?

Regardless, the slow-motion footage sees them running along the beach at Saint Clair to the tune of Chariots of Fire, various sunbathers staring at them in utter confusion.

The camera pulls back to reveal Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II in full flying gear cycling along beside them, then pulls back further to reveal, clamped to the back of his bicycle, a childcarrier in which is a tape player from which the tune emanates.

Clearly, the RAF training has begun.

Johnny G Wells & Stallion Stanley vs. Glenview Bad Boyz

All four men get to show their stuff here; this is actually a pretty even match, and there's a case to be made for either side winning but, as tends to be the case in POW, the side with more cohesion takes the win, with Brian King nailing the running Rydeen bomb he calls the King Bling on Johnny G Wells (still minus his exoskeleton) to score the win.

Stallion Stanley remains in the ring after the match, beckoning to Kay Fabe for the microphone. He accepts it with a smile and turns to face the hard camera.

“I didn't want to lose there,” he says. “I have someone I want to impress. She'd be perfect, the right way for me to go, the right person for me to be with, and I need to show her what I can do.

“Grappling goddess, don't take this defeat as a masure of me. I promise, I will make you proud.”

Poco Loco vs. Shay Kinsella vs. Alexia Dynamite vs. Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II

This one is quite the scorcher; Westminster II is the weak link, but even he gets in some interesting offence before Shay Kinsella connects with the Urbana Native.

Lt. Geoffrey C. Westminster II is eliminated

Shay takes a moment to celebrate – and Alexia spins him around, plants a kiss on him, and goes for the Fist Full of Dynamite. It'd produce a pin except that Poco Loco breaks out, for the first time in POW, his Tickling Bearhug. Alexia promptly turns around and berserks on Loco, then strikes the pose to freeze him in his tracks – Kinsella spins her around – THE POSE FREEZES KINSELLA HALFWAY THROUGH THE URBANA NATIVE – FIST FULL OF DYNAMITE!

Shay Kinsella is eliminated

It's down to Dynamite and Loco and Alexia looks confident. She turns around – and eats a big dropkick! Loco feeds off the crowd, running riot before finishing this one with the Loco Lariat!

The Funeral March begins to play. WMD, the Grand Champion, comes out and stands at the entryway, staring malevolently at Poco Loco.

The Lunatic Luchador is a little too busy playing to the crowd to notice.

When he does start heading back out, WMD stands smack in his way, still staring, and Poco Loco still doesn't seem to notice. He walks straight into her.

WMD stares daggers.

Loco unleashes the Tickling Bearhug again, incapacitating her before slipping into the back.

“...If that wins him the Grand Championship,” the Buccaneer declares, “then the world is broken.”

Christian Prophet vs. Ford Memphis

These two seem to have a real innate understanding of one another, one that really, really adds to the match. It's a back-and-forth for a while before Prophet's pure evil overcomes Memphis' amusing shenanigans, and he finishes the contest with a huge brainbuster following a stun gun, bellowing “MALE GESSERIT!” as he does so.

On commentary, Nevada Van Sant suggests that's as good a name as any for this new combo finisher.

Prophet celebrates atop the turnbuckle while Memphis slowly recovers consciousness, with Van Sant and Vine checking on him. As he comes to, he freezes – then points upward.

The Undiscovered Championship!

They panic. Christian Prophet turns around, sees where their attention is, and screams out “Mortuus bellatorum, attendite me!”

This brings out Eve and Dreamscape at a pelt. They meet Van Sant, Vine and Memphis in the ring and a brawl explodes.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/POW/EbiKadivar.jpg

Prophet, meanwhile, fetches a ladder from under the ring. He's in the middle of posting it into the ring when, from out of nowhere, Ebi Kadivar soars to land on the ladder, jackknifing it into Prophet's face and knocking him down!

Both sides are stalemated, and both sides retreat.

“No wonder we never found it – it was in the wrong arena!” the Buccaneer exclaims.

Discotheque © vs. Complete Package w/ Jenna Talia

A startlingly fast opening fall sees WANG disconcerted by how hard their opponents will fight when the titles are on the line. KC and Donny combine superbly, ultimately creating the somewhat mindboggling image of Big Bo Lox smashing to the ground in the Gone Platinum (Gory Bomb/Cutter) – and that decides the first fall.

It's all on the line for WANG's top team now and Little Willy rises to the occasion, fighting back with a dazzling aerial display followed by a volley of kicks. A superkick sets up Bo to lariat Summer almost out of his boots, allowing the Complete Package to tie the match at one fall apiece going into the final straight.

At this point Lox and Willy look at each other and nod. The intensity on the part of both teams ratchets up, but in the end, the tipping point is the power and size of Bo Lox, who makes the most of it by positioning a downed Chic in the corner, before climbing to the second rope. The sight of Big Bo Lox bouncing up and down before smashing into Donny Chic's face, the Chef tells us, will stay with him for a long time.

With Chic apparently out of it, Willy blindsides Summer with a missile dropkick, sending him flying into Bo's grip. Bo boosts him onto the top turnbuckle and goes up after him; Willy rushes to another corner and climbs it.

Bo hits a top-rope Bologna suplex. Seemingly at the same instant Summer crashes to the mat, Willy impacts on him with the Big Bang splash – and the PackagePlex is born, capturing a title as it does so.
