The show was called the 'Night Of Champions' but was a poor show start to finish, it did provide a shock however when Shane McMahon appeared live on Nitro and went verbally head to head with his father Vince who was live on Raw. </em></span><br id=""><span style="font-family: impact, chicago;" id=""><em id="">Hulk hasn't been seen in WCW since a very controversal Bash At The Beach in 2000, Hulk admits he refused to job to Jeff Jarrett as he thought the plan was to build to Flair vs Hogan at Starrcade. In the end Jarrett ended up lying down for Hogan to cover him fo the win, shortly after Vince Russo, who claims this whole incident was a work, fired Hogan on live ppv, vacated the title and then booked Booker T vs Jarrett for the title later that night.</em></span><br id=""><span style="font-family: impact, chicago;" id=""><em id="">Shortly after the broadcast of Nitro finished Hulk Hogan was involved in a phone interview with a westling site in which his was to plug the new 'Hulk Hogan power cleaner' 'which will bodyslam the germs straight outta your kitchen!', during the interview a caller asked Hogan what he thought of WCW and the final broadcast.... </em></span><br id=""><span style="font-family: impact, chicago;" id=""><em id="">Hogan stated that he loved WCW during the peak when nWo was dominating and when Goldberg and DDP were rising to the top but called the company a joke in recent years, he went on to say that the wrestling world will suffer 'big time' now that there is no challenger for the WWF. AJ Styles and Juventud Guerrera picked up the pace a bit with an interesting cruiserweight contest which went on for around 12 minutes of exciting action, AJ picked up the win with a Styles clash, the match was graded D. Rob Van Dam was heavily put over with a video package and by Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes on commentary, Glenn Gilbertti seemed there only to make RVD look good however they put on a fairly decent back and forth contest in which RVD won with a frog splash, graded D.<br id=""> <br id=""> Jeff Jarrett and Rey Mysterio was the first really good contest they drew much emotion from the crowd and did solid work in the ring, Jarrett sold Rey's high flying moves well and they had good chemistry together, Jarrett took a typical heel way out when he threw Rey into the ref, hit him with a low blow and then the Stroke for the victory, graded C+. Curt Hennig and Ric Flair have been putting on great matches for years and this was no different, a great technical match with a good story throughout, both refused to give up to each other’s finishers and in the end it was a small package from Flair that earned the victory in 18:43, graded B-.<br id=""> <br id=""> Scott Steiner and Sting put on an electric main event with the crowd heavily involved in the match, it was more of a brawl or a street fight than an actual match with both men getting bloodied early on. A twist came after 15 minutes when Kevin Nash and Scott Hall jumped the guard rail and attacked both competitors, the match ended in a draw and was graded B-. The show didn't end there as Hulk Hogan came out alongside police officers and ran Nash and Hall out of the arena to end the show. <br id=""> <br id=""> All in all the show was great improvement from Hulk's first and I’m sure it won't be long until Hulk is able to present another, stay tuned to HulkHogan.com for all news and updates. It was a big step forward for the new company as they came one step closer to crowning the first ever PTW heavyweight champion.<br id=""> <br id=""> Hulk Hogan surprised fans early on as he started the show in the ring, unfortunately before Hulk could say anything he was jumped from behind by Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, and power bombed in the middle of the ring. Medical staff rushed Hogan to the back and straight to an emergency room.<br id=""> <br id=""> After the attack took place Hall and Nash grabbed a microphone and declared that now they have got rid of Hogan they are taking over and entering themselves into the world heavyweight championship tournament, and challenged anyone in the back to be their opponents.<br id=""> <br id=""> Lex Luger came running down to the ring full of rage and accepted Nash's challenge, after a referee was assigned the two began brawling in the ring, a full out fight. The crowd were behind Luger, Nash and Hall were getting a lot of heat from the fans. In the end Nash gained the victory after a big boot followed by a jacknife power bomb, graded D.<br id=""> <br id=""> Next was Scott Hall and it was Davey Boy Smith who rose to the occasion and accepted his challenge, these two put on a much more controlled match and told a great story of how Davey was fighting for the fans and for Hogan. In the end it was a slip up from Davey which led to a Razor's Edge and the win for Scott Hall. Graded C+.<br id=""> <br id=""> The tag match of Mephisto and Averno vs Rey Mysterio and Mistico really got fans excited for the future of PTW cruiserweights as they put on a highly entertaining match. Mysterio picked up the win for his team with a springboard hurricanrana, graded D. Post-match Konnan came to the ring and helped Mephisto and Averno get revenge on Rey and Mistico with the help of a steel chair. Alex Wright vs Super Crazy was considered by many as the weak link in the card but wasn't too bad of a match, Wright prevailed by submission with the STF, graded D.<br id=""> <br id=""> RVD and Rick Steiner surprised many in attendance and the match really showed RVD's ability to hang in the ring with big stars, they wrestled various styles throughout the match and kept the crowd involved for the full 12 minutes of the match, Rob Van Dam picked up a shock win with a frog splash, graded C.<br id=""> <br id=""> Jeff Jarrett and Ric Flair clashed in a great wrestling match, were the dirtiest player in the game was able to counter the stroke into a schoolboy roll up for the win after 15:02 seconds of a tough contest, graded C+.<br id=""> <br id=""> It came down to the main event to see who would join Flair, Hall and Nash in the semi-finals of the title tournament. Hennig and Sting stole the show with a great contest, going back and forth for 15 minutes, Sting managed to kick out of the Hennig-Plex and Hennig responded by kicking out of a scorpion death drop and several stinger splashes. In the end Hennig was forced to submit to the scorpion death lock, graded B-. The night ended with a familiar sight as Hall and Nash hit the ring and destroyed Sting leaving him bloodied and beaten down.<br id=""> <br id=""> Hulk Hogan has not left the hospital in Arizona yet and has been unable to comment on the event, most critics online are saying the quality was equal to the last event but this one definitely had more twists and shocks. The attendance was confirmed at 6,301 in the Equidome arena and the buyrate was said to be 500 buys higher than the 'Prime Time Wrestling' event coming in at 23,000.
