8:30 P.M.

"You sure you're going to have me winning the Battle for Supremacy?", asked Christian Faith as we went over things ahead of the night's show. He wasn't aware that Jack Bruce had put me in a bit of a bind not too long ago, demanding that I figure out some way to give him a title shot.

"I can't promise anything, Christian. We've got more than a couple weeks remaining before The World is Watching and, I dunno, you've got the North American belt around your waist, and I don't plan to have you drop it anytime soon."

"That's the thing, Brian. You know I'm bigger than the North American title. It's a midcard belt, upper mid at best. Now Rick was saying something about possibly giving me a new, main event belt in preparation for a brand split. At least that's what I heard. How true is this?"

"If he said that, I haven't heard about it."

"Well, perhaps that's what we need if I'm not going to win the battle royal. But really, I'd rather drop the North American belt to Remo or whoever and go over at Battle for Supremacy so I can get a title shot against Rich Money."

As Christian was trying to make his case for a win at the Battle for Supremacy, our conversation was interrupted by the worker formerly known as Skull DeBones.

"What about me, Bri?"

"Sean, you've got the title shot versus Rich Money," I replied, chuckling nervously. "I'm not sure whom I want going over, but your feud with Christian is getting pretty good heat."

Christian Faith. Jack Bruce. Maybe even one of the prospective new hires who are this close to signing a rich contract with the SWF. It could be anyone. And neither Christian nor Jack wanted to make it easy for me.

Gilmore and Frehley, despite never really working alongside each other in the past, agree to form an alliance of sorts. THURSDAY, APRIL 1, 2010

BACKSTAGE, 8:30 P.M.

Ah, April Fool's Day. Favorite day of all the ribbers on the SWF lineup, especially Remo and Brandon James. Robbie Retro's also pretty much the ribber, as I had instantly recognized his handwriting after receiving a supposed "love letter" from Hannah Potter. Nearly got me there, Robbie, but I've gotten pranked like that in the past.

One person who wasn't in any mood for ribs that day (unless it's the kind you can eat) was Elmer "Everest" Kelly, who was going to be squashing jobber Roger Cage tonight. I'll level with you. I never liked watching Everest wrestle, which is pretty obvious, but upon learning about his eccentricities (e.g. not bathing before a match, walking around in the locker room and "letting it all hang out", etc.) and his abrasive personality, I liked him even less.

Fine. I HATE Everest. And I can't wait till his contract expires, because I can certainly tell you that the locker room will be better for it. Not as much better off than if Big Smack Scott would strike out thrice and be gone from the SWF, but I can tell few people will be missing him.

"Write me into a storyline," demanded Everest who was, thankfully, wearing his singlet and not in the mood for any impromptu exhibitionism. "I'm sick of this Uprising s--- and the jobber matches."

"I dunno, Elmer. Khoklov's now feuding with Tom and Steve, while Barry and Chris have their own little feud, which I hope could pick up some steam. Can't have too many giants in significant feuds."

"I'M BIGGER THAN THEM!", he growled back in a voice loud enough to be heard outside the gym. Then he started pleading and dropping the name of one of my favorite "grunge era" bands in an attempt to convince me to give him more TV time. "This is my home crowd, man, the state of Wershington. Ellensburg, home of the Screaming Trees. You like their music, you should know that. Why not give this fellow Ellensburg native a break?"

"I'm already giving you a break, Elmer. You're going over Roger Cage."

"Going over a jobber. Pfft, big deal. Why not set me up with Emma..."

"Set you up with Emma? She and Sammy Bach are a couple."

"F---ing philosopher. I mean have her manage me! If I can get some heat, perhaps we can then talk contract. A Khoklov-sized contract. No, an Everest-sized contract!"

That, my friends, was the deal-breaker. Captain Atomic, whose contract is also up in less than a month, will stay. Everest? He can go sign with TC-Dub for all I care.

OOC - Vengeance and DuBois wrestling on both Supreme TV and Uprising on the same week. My bad!

SWF UPRISING - April 1, 2010

Washington State Gymnasium (Northwest)

DARK MATCHES:

Russell d. Jameson in 5:08 via Grounded Knee Flurry (17)

Retro d. Part One in 4:40 via Disco Ball (54)

Laramee d. Gumble in 4:05 via Switchblade Powerslam (55)

UPRISING:

Everest d. Cage in 5:28 via Mountain Mover (40)

ANGLE - Dawn the Cheerleader does another Bring it On-inspired routine to hype Valiant and Giedroyc's next match. (75)

Valiant and Giedroyc d. Biggz Boyz in 7:18 via V-Split on Bart (61)

ANGLES - Dawn and Hannah do a sexy but wholesome victory dance following V & G's victory and successful entry to the Battle for Supremacy. Meanwhile, Brett Biggz and Jessie are arguing their way back to the locker room - the Biggz's have used up both chances to qualify for the Battle and will be part of the "world" that will be watching in a couple weeks' time. (66/62)

Morrisette d. Greed in 8:15 via Shell Fish Shock (78)

ANGLE - Runaway Train runs in after Morrisette's win and beats down on him. Still hoping this feud heats up a little more... (72)

Odd Couple d. New High Concept! in 6:22 via Romeo is Squeeky on Prudence (69) - also incl. int. from Black vs Donnie J.

ANGLE - BJ O'Neill rants about Akima Brave, who will be facing the newly-named Sector 7G tag team of American Machine and Captain Atomic. (81)

ANGLE - Jack Bruce with another taped rant versus Eric Eisen. But it's not an attack on his personality or wrestling skills, but rather on his lack of singing skills. (86)

Samoan Wildboyz d. Sector 7G in 6:55 via Long Range Headbutt on Atomic (61)

ANGLE - Post-match celebration for the Samoan Wildboyz as their cheesy theme music ("Wild Boys" by Duran Duran) plays in the background. (52)

ANGLE - More scenes from the recording studio, as Eric Eisen sings a downright awful version of "We All Die Young" by Steel Dragon. Billy Jack Shearer has had it - he remarks "we need a new vocalist" as his bandmates, manager Queen Emily and enforcer Marat Khoklov look on in agreement. (74)

Eric Eisen's Painful Procedure d. Vengeance, Black and DuBois in 5:43 via underhanded tactics, Vengeance pins Shearer (74) - also incl. botched int. E. Eisen vs Hopkirk

ANGLE - Jack Bruce jumps Eric from his spot on the announcers' table (he had done guest commentary in the earlier 3-on-3 tag match) and the two brawl it out in front of Duane Fry and Queen Emily. (84)

ANGLE - Angry Gilmore rants about Marat Khoklov and his random acts of violence. (84)

Gilmore d. Huntingdon in 11:11 via DQ, int. Khoklov vs Gilmore (82)

ANGLE - And yet, another random, or not-so-random act of violence as Khoklov charges the ring to beat down on Gilmore. (82)

BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY LINEUP:

Robbie Retro, Kurt Laramee, Knuckles, Shady K, Jack Bruce, Steve Frehley, Marc DuBois, Frederique Antonio Garcia, Squeeky McClean, Angry Gilmore, Chris Morrisette, Christian Faith, Jungle Lord, Man Mountain Cahill, American Machine, Captain Atomic, Runaway Train, Everest, Akima Brave, Kid Toma, Gregory Black, Remo, Marat Khoklov, Randy Bumfhole, Zimmy Bumfhole, Brandon James, Joe Sexy, Valiant, Jack Giedroyc (29 men in, 1 to go)

Final Grade - 72/B-

MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2010

10:30 A.M.

I picked up the phone that morning, wondering who could it be complaining about their push or asking to be put over at the Battle for Supremacy. No, I still didn't know whether I wanted Bruce or Faith to win. The two new signees would be on board right on time for The World is Watching, and I figured it might make a pleasant surprise if one of them actually went over at the Battle. So many options, so many workers, but only one man can win the battle royal. Who can it be?

Fortunately, the man on the other end wasn't the type who'd demand a title shot via Battle for Supremacy victory. In fact, he wasn't even on the main roster. It was Philip "Enforcer" Roberts calling from Rhode Island, where he and Larry Wood worked with the young 'uns over at development. Phil, as he preferred to be called outside of the ring, took care of the technical skills. Larry, quite obviously, was there to train the RIPW kids in the brawling department. However, when it came to deciding who was ready or wasn't, it was Enforcer Roberts' call, being the SWF veteran as opposed to Larry, who only joined up as trainer in January.

"Supreme Wrestling Federation, good morning?"

"Brian, it's Enf-, I mean Phil. Great job you're doing over there, man. The cards keep getting better and better."

"Thanks, Phil. How's Rhode Island doing? Anyone you have in mind..."

"That's why I called you, actually. Someone wants to get out of there fast, and prove his worth in the SWF. I don't think he's ready, but it's your call - you signed him, so you probably know a couple of things about him that I don't."

"Who is it?"

"Rip Chord's hard-partying, skirt-chasing, beer-swilling teenage son Jay. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?"

I had to laugh. Just as expected, Jay was probably driving the trainers and authority figures at the RIPW totally nuts. "Got a lot of heat in the locker room, I presume?"

"That's an understatement. There are only a few people who can put up with his nonsense, and those are his friends - Brett Starr, Ash Campbell, Casey Valentine. The other night he and that Bekowski kid who looks twice his age, they duked it out after another wild drinking spree. If you think you've got your hands full with Big Smack Scott, wait till you meet Jay Chord."

"Scott's been suspended for steroid use. One whole month," I replied, keeping Enforcer up to speed. "So I gather you want Jay on the main roster because you've had enough of him?"

"Well, to be honest...yes. He's only fought once, and that was a loss to Remmy Skye at Welcome to My Hell and he looked disinterested, as if wrestling in the RIPW was beneath him. He does have the makings of a star, but if we keep him here any longer he might only make more trouble and waste that potential."

"But he's only been in there for two months..."

"You can always send him back down if someone better and brighter with a healthier attitude comes along. Spencer Spade might be ready in a couple months, so if Spade graduates from training and signs with the SWF, which is almost given, and Jay's stinking it up consistently on Uprising, then feel free to demote him."

Interesting dilemma I have here, but one that may be easier than determining who wins the battle royal.

"Send him up, Phil. Also, I've got some ideas for Swoop McCarthy. You think the big Aussie's ready?"

"Good call on Swoop. He's also made a lot of noise about not wanting to be held back in a developmental territory, but at least his attitude doesn't suck. I also suggest Primus Allen or Steel. Rick's going to love having one or both of those brutes on the main roster."

Oh, great. Two more anti-Bumfholes to consider. "I'll go with Primus. Steel can stay in there for as long as you see fit."

"Alright, so that'll be Jay, Swoop and Primus whom I'll be flying out to Maryland for the next Supreme TV?", asked Enforcer, almost like a fast food clerk confirming an order.

"Yeah."

"Nice chatting with you, Brian. I'll have 'em at Maryland Wood on time for the event."

"Thanks, Phil. I'll let you know if---"

He put down the phone before I could tell him I'd consider him if we needed more midcard help to put over the big stars but he probably wouldn't be interested in that anyway. So now I've got three more potential jabronis to stick on Uprising. But I can worry about them later. First priority of the day is to make sure all the storylines and feuds are hot enough for Sunday night's big PPV, The World is Watching.

TUESDAY, APRIL 6, 2010

BACKSTAGE, 8:30 P.M.

"That was no fair, man. You guys are always picking on Scott, singling him out as the bad guy, the 'roid monkey, the worst human being in the locker room. Worse, a SUB-human being. And don't think I haven't noticed - you're patronizing me by giving me wins while making Scott into a glorified jobber." Kurt Laramee was furious that night, though I couldn't say his anger was in the right place.

"It's not like that, Kurt. Well, Mr. Eisen did insist that we test him, so that was the first strike. Second strike came in the random test. He's the one that's f---ing up, not us."

"I think somebody's not testing the entire roster," said Kurt. He then turned to Jay Chord, who would be watching in the wings this week and joining us on shows, but not actually competing. "See that guy?"

"That's the booker guy, Brian Candido," replied Jay. "He's a dork. Up to now I can't understand why everyone else seems to like him already." Alright, Jay. I'll pretend I didn't hear that.

"That shrimp isn't giving Scott a fair deal," Kurt continued, lowering his voice a bit. "He and old man Eisen and Peter Michaels, everyone with the slightest bit of authority, they can't take the fact that Big Smack Scott connects with the crowd like few others can..."

Gimme a break, Kurt. Connect with the crowd? Is that how you call cussing them out and picking fights with them when he can't take their booing? People aren't yelling "BIG SMACK SUCKS!" because he's got legitimate heel heat like Vengeance or Remo. They're yelling "BIG SMACK SUCKS!" because, well, he sucks in the ring!

After trying to find an ally in Jay Chord, Kurt turned his attention back to me. "Send me down to developmental."

"I can't do that now, Kurt, you're competing in the Battle for Supremacy."

"Yeah? Scott was supposed to be in there. Now he ain't, and I don't think I can stay 100 percent focused when I know you guys are continually turning him into a scapegoat. Besides, I'm just gonna get thrown over the ropes anyway in a matter of seconds."

He was right. The idea was for Remo or Khoklov to clothesline him out of there mere seconds after he hit the ring. But to send him to Rhode Island on such a short notice just because he misses Scott Sinclair and thinks we're persecuting him?

"I'll give it some thought. But we'll need to find a way to add another qualifier." There were already 29 men in the battle royal, with the 30th to be decided at The World is Watching itself. So do I give the other new guy a free pass to the Battle for Supremacy or...

Ah, what the hell. Greed vs Jameson on Uprising will determine the penultimate qualifying slot. Laramee will get his wish if he really wants to take his Stockholm Syndrome thing with Big Smack Scott this far.

SWF Supreme TV - Tuesday, April 6, 2010

Maryland Wood (Mid-Atlantic)

DARK MATCHES:

Gregory Black d. Knuckles in 5:41 via pinfall, using the ropes (62) - also incl. dist. from R. and Z. Bumfhole vs Black

Valiant d. McCarthy in 4:45 via V-Split (51)

Garcia d. Cage in 2:41 via Romeo is Bleeding (58) - also incl. McClean vs Cage

SUPREME TV:

James and Sexy d. Samoan Wildboyz in 7:25 via Big Money Move on Brave (69)

ANGLE - Christian Faith makes an open challenge for the North American title match at The World is Watching, which is accepted by Marc DuBois. DuBois says he'll step up for his leader and mentor, the unstable, unhinged and increasingly "powerful" Vengeance. (84/86)

E. Eisen d. Giedroyc in 7:44 via Supremacy, dist. from Cahill (73) - also incl. dist. Hopkirk and Shearer vs Giedroyc

ANGLE - The Supremacist grabs the mic from Duane Fry after the easy win over Giedroyc and predicts a loss for Rich Money despite his continued dislike of Vengeance. (85)

ANGLE - The duo of Angry Gilmore and Steve Frehley calls out the team of Marat Khoklov and Eric Eisen, with the former singled out for his lack of respect for fellow human beings and the latter for his cowardice and his tendency to run away when the going gets tough, thus making his "Supremacist" nickname painfully ironic. (88)

Gilmore d. Shearer in 8:27 via DQ, dist. from Cahill (81) - also incl. int. Jessie vs Shearer

ANGLE - Seeing that his wife still may care for him after all (Jessie had, after all, slapped Billy Jack Shearer in the face earlier), Angry Gilmore tries asking Jessie for forgiveness and for a fresh start. He is rejected, though this may not be the last time we'll be seeing them try to get back together. (82)

ANGLE - A video reminds us that we'll be seeing Christian Faith defend his North American title against Marc DuBois at The World is Watching. (80)

ANGLE - Remo, who's booked to face Rich Money at tonight's main event, boldly predicts that Vengeance will win the World Heavyweight Title from Money at The World is Watching. How does he know? Because he knows Money's weaknesses, and will be exposing them in tonight's match. (87)

(OOC - Three straight matches, no angles in between. I think I may have hurriedly booked this, but still, this was my best card so far!)

Faith d. Everest in 6:11 via Leap of Faith (59) - also incl. int. Vengeance vs Faith (OOC - If there's someone who can turn a Christian Faith match into crap, it's Everest!)

Vengeance d. Morrisette in 8:08 via countout, int. from Chase (78) - also incl. dist. Train vs Morrisette, int. Black vs Morrisette

Bruce d. DuBois in 16:20 via New York Minute, dist. from Z. Bumfhole (79) - also incl. int. Vengeance vs Bruce, dist. R. Bumfhole vs DuBois

ANGLE - Highlights of the brewing-in-the-background Money vs Remo feud, meant to hype up tonight's non-title main event. (84)

Money drew w/Remo in 21:44, double countout (89) - also incl. int. Vengeance, E. Eisen vs Money, Faith vs Remo

Final Grade - 85/B+ (Increased Popularity)

Supreme TV Rating - 6.09

SWF Uprising - Thursday, April 8, 2010

Gorski Ballroom (Southwest)

DARK MATCHES:

Primus Allen d. Part One in 4:39 via Flying Lariat (11)

James Prudence d. Part Two in 6:16 via Prudential Pain Plan (62)

UPRISING:

ANGLE - Mr. Tyler gives Eric Eisen an unprecedented third chance to compete in the Battle for Supremacy, a match versus a mystery opponent at The World is Watching. Though this should make the next PPV quite interesting, Tyler's argument for giving Double E a third shot is downright biased - because it wouldn't be a Battle for Supremacy without the Supremacist. (72)

Sector 7G d. Death Row in 5:42 via handful of tights on Shady K (55) - also incl. botched int. Batch vs Knuckles

ANGLE - Knuckles and Carl Batch argue after the botched interference. (55)

(OOC - Just realized Greed and Jameson were both on two-match losing streaks from 4th week March to 2nd week April, but then again, I didn't book their second losses with battle royal qualification in mind - they're both Openers at this point, I believe. Hence, this is officially their second to last chance to qualify.)

Greed d. Jameson in 7:27 via Crash Diet (50) - Greed qualifies for Battle for Supremacy

(OOC - I'm sure I included several minute-long angles in this show where some of the battle royal competitors would draw their numbers. Somehow they're not included in the in-game recap. Anyway, Greed was supposed to excitedly draw a number from either Dawn or Hannah or BJ O'Neill after becoming the second to last man to qualify. Faith, Bruce, Remo and both Bumfholes, I believe, also were supposed to be shown drawing from the bowl.)

ANGLE - Valiant and Giedroyc demand that Mr. Tyler give them a match against the Odd Couple for the SWF World Tag titles, and they get it, having previously won a title shot at Awesome Impact 2010. (66)

Train d. Retro in 6:17 via Train Wreck, dist. Chase vs Retro (58)

ANGLE - Australian rookie Swoop McCarthy is Freddy Garcia's guest for tonight on Let's Do the Freddy! McCarthy immediately mocks Garcia's flamboyant gestures and clothing, and proceeds to demand that the women of the SWF "put on some damn clothes" for the sake of what is right and moral in this world. He is particularly upset with what he had just seen earlier, as Emma Chase sent Robbie Retro to the present with a quick peek at the puppies. (50/51)

Huntingdon d. Shearer in 7:21 via DQ, int. Hopkirk vs Huntingdon (44) - also incl. int. Cahill vs Huntingdon

Lord d. Griffith in 6:34 via Jungle Jack Jammer (69)

ANGLE - It's Money vs Vengeance for the SWF World Heavyweight title at The World is Watching! (84)

Black d. Bart Biggz in 7:36 via Fade to Black, int. Vengeance (62) - also incl. dist. DuBois vs Bart

ANGLE - Eric Eisen is indeed withdrawing from his scheduled tag team match at The World is Watching. In a press conference where he and Khoklov are being interviewed, Double E tells reporters that no, he is not hiding from either Gilmore or Frehley; instead, he is ensuring PPV viewers that he will make the most of that third chance to qualify, and doesn't want to jeopardize that chance by taking part in a senseless tag match versus two nobodies. (74)

Odd Couple d. Valiant and Giedroyc in 8:12 via Romeo is Squeeky on Valiant (70) - also incl. int. McCarthy vs Giedroyc - The Odd Couple retains the World Tag Team titles

BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY LINEUP:

Robbie Retro, Knuckles, Shady K, Jack Bruce, Steve Frehley, Marc DuBois, Frederique Antonio Garcia, Squeeky McClean, Angry Gilmore, Chris Morrisette, Christian Faith, Jungle Lord, Man Mountain Cahill, American Machine, Captain Atomic, Runaway Train, Everest, Akima Brave, Kid Toma, Gregory Black, Remo, Marat Khoklov, Randy Bumfhole, Zimmy Bumfhole, Brandon James, Joe Sexy, Valiant, Jack Giedroyc, John Greed (29 men in, 1 to go)

Withdrawn from Battle for Supremacy - Big Smack Scott (steroids), Kurt Laramee (sent to RIPW)

Final Grade - 65/C

Uprising Rating - 0.45

BACKSTAGE, 8:30 P.M.

We had just thirty minutes remaining before showtime, and I still hadn't made up my mind. Jack Bruce was looking really hyped up, thinking that he'd be the one going over tonight at the Battle for Supremacy, but to be honest, I hadn't decided. Christian Faith drawing first and going the distance made for a great storyline, and I hadn't told him either I wasn't decided yet on what route to take. Or perhaps it would be cool if Marat won the Battle. In his previous loss to Tom, he had given me some of the least realistic wrestling in making it appear he was outsmarted and actually pinned by a man roughly half his weight. But winning a battle royal can be much more convincing if you're billed at 7'6" and your primary offensive weapon is a country-specific lariat.

"Hey, Brian. Good show today, I hope! Cigarette?" Speaking of the devil, there he was, now fully able to communicate in English without a translator. He'd appeared on a local TV show last month and did quite well without the assistance of Vladimir.

I decided to pass on the smokes this time. Inside, my lungs were cheering louder than the 39,000-strong crowd at the Garden Park Fields. "No thanks, Marat. Got to let 'em know who's winning the Battle."

"Me?"

"Who knows, it could be anybody."

Never before in SWF history has a booker announced the Battle for Supremacy winner minutes before the show. But that was going to be the case.

Ah, what the heck, I'll probably join the big dude for a smoke in the lounge and maybe that'll help me decide.

8:45 P.M.

Okay, this is it. Moment of truth. Got to choose my words wisely and consider everybody's mood as of the moment. I've finally decided who's winning the Battle for Supremacy, and I've got to make sure the non-winners, pardon the super-positive scripting, aren't too upset over my decision.

Marat's just happy to be on TV after I admittedly tried not to book him in matches. Whether he wins or loses, it probably wouldn't matter. He simply wants to be more than just the guy who wails on faces and heels alike during or after their matches.

Jack is singing Iron Maiden songs at the top of his voice as Painful Procedure jams along with their air guitars and drumsticks. Obviously his mood couldn't be better.

Christian is pissed off because his son Matty brought home another "F" in History and would probably be repeating the eighth grade, if he doesn't get expelled first.

I know Remo and Steve are hoping to go over as well, as this could give them some legit momentum and help them break out from being upper-mid/main event tweeners and become legit main eventers.

Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Looking forward to see what you can do at "The World Is Watching" :)

Thanks! :D Will have the results posted tomorrow, I hope. Starting with TWIW, I'm planning to include key dialogue and not just match results, who interfered against who, super-basic angle summaries, etc. I still have to improve my match recaps (perhaps when TEW 2013's out I can start another diary with more elaborate recaps, worker dialogue, the whole nine yards), but I'll try to add more color to this diary by verbalizing those worker rants and promos for the PPVs.

<strong>Jack Bruce</strong> wins the Battle for Supremacy in 55:46 (74) - Final Four include Christian Faith, Angry Gilmore and Ricky Dale Johnson, also incl. dist. Hopkirk vs Faith, int. Shearer vs Faith</p><p> </p><p>

<em>- Christian Faith and Steve Frehley were the first two men in the ring. After shaking hands to reaffirm their friendship, the two men slugged it out half-heartedly for two minutes before Marc DuBois entered at #3.</em></p><p><em>

- First elimination was Captain Atomic, who was thrown over in the early goings by Akima Brave and Kid Toma. The Samoan Wildboyz were eliminated soon thereafter.</em></p><p><em>

- Instead of Kurt Laramee lasting five seconds before getting eliminated, the dubious distinction of shortest in-ring time fell instead on Man Mountain Cahill, who was eliminated by Jack Bruce and Christian Faith in eight seconds.</em></p><p><em>

- We don't see Everest that much on TV, but when he's out there, we see a LOT of him. Everest was 10th to the last to get thrown over, and all it took was a Russian Lariat from Marat Khoklov.</em></p><p><em>

- Marat Khoklov did pretty well for himself, being the 6th to the last man in the ring and eliminating eight wrestlers to lead everyone else. It took the combined efforts of Bruce, Faith, Gilmore, Greg Black, Squeeky McClean and RDJ to throw him over the ropes.</em></p><p><em>

- Outnumbered as heels, Black and McClean were 5th and 4th to the last to be eliminated.</em></p><p><em>

- A highly unlikely swerve took place as four men remained in the ring in the dying minutes - Bruce, Faith, Gilmore and RDJ. Just as Bruce and Faith were preparing to take out SWF newcomer Johnson, Billy Jack Shearer and Randall Hopkirk surprisingly appeared at ringside, with Hopkirk distracting referee Darren Smith and Shearer knocking Faith out with a drumstick smash from behind. This enabled Bruce to eliminate Faith, and with adrenaline on his side, he took out Gilmore, then RDJ to win the Battle for Supremacy and a title shot versus the winner of Money vs Vengeance.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ANGLE</strong> - Jack Bruce goes on an extended rant against the fans, Christian Faith, Rich Money and others while explaining the rationale behind the swerve. (93)</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#FF0000;"><em>Bruce - IT'S SHOWTIME!!!! (pauses to acknowledge the crowd's rabid booing) Why, what's the matter? Can't accept the fact that I had Randall and Billy, who weren't taking part in the Battle, take care of the Supreme Dinosaur, Christian Faith? (more boos) Aren't you excited to see Painful Procedure back together with their original vocalist, making NWOBHM-influenced heavy metal music meant to offend your grandparents' sensitive ears? It's unbelievable, but IT'S TRUE! SHOWTIME IS BACK, EVERYBODY!!! (more boos) THIS is what Showtime is supposed to be about. It's about dropping that crappy vocalist from the band and having him do what he does best - PRODUCE Painful Procedure. With the Supremacist, Eric Eisen, producing our new album, with Queen Emily in our corner as our manager, with the original lineup reunited, with Marat and Primus controlling the supply and demand of groupies and knocking the crap out of nosey cameramen trying to share the stage with us...I, Jack Bruce, the Cream of the Crop, the Long Island Angel, will reinvent SHOWTIME. (more boos) I will be bigger than Elvis and the Beatles put together, because unlike those ghosts of rock 'n' roll past, I can take out anybody in a New York Minute. And I don't give a s--- about your heroes, your Rich Turd with Lots of Money, your Supreme Dinosaur Christian Faith, your Dork Destroyer Steve Frehley, your Angry Bald Man Tom Gilmore. J. Eisen - Hey! It kinda made sense, didn't it? Painful Procedure needed to get rid of Double E and his sub-William Hung vocalizing. So who else could they invite except Troy Tornado? <strong>ANGLE</strong> - Post-match celebration from Money and beatdown from Remo, Black, DuBois...and JACK BRUCE!!! (86)</p><p> </p><p>

A. Garcia - Could this be a sign of...bigger things to come?</em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"><em> </em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"><em>

Michaels - We don't know for sure. Vengeance has always had his issues with Christian Faith. Jack Bruce and Rich Money were always wary of each other despite their common foes like Eric Eisen.</em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"><em> </em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"><em>

Michaels - But your brother's Painful Procedure and Vengeance's Slaves don't like each other either. This might be changing soon.</em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"><em> </em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;"><em>

<p>MONDAY, APRIL 12, 2010</p><p>

1:15 A.M.</p><p> </p><p>

GARDEN PARK BAR AND GRILL - THE WORLD IS WATCHING AFTER-PARTY</p><p> </p><p>

<em>"And I propose a toast to our booker, Brian Candido. He's been a real game-changer this month of April. He signed RDJ, and while his contract is quite a humdinger, he was at least able to get Sean McFly on the cheap. Relatively, that is. And for a good three years! And he has just written a classic PPV that should go down in history as one of the best ever! Cheers, Brian!"</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

The mood at the Garden Park Bar and Grill was festive that early morning, as SWF owner Richard Eisen was taking a rare opportunity to knock back a few with the boys - HIS boys. And we don't just mean Eric and Jerry Eisen, brothers who hate each other onscreen but are as tight as you can get offscreen. This was almost the entire SWF roster partying after The World is Watching. Sure, there were a few who weren't present. Angry and Jessie Gilmore had gotten into a bit of an argument after the event, which was ironic considering their onscreen reunion. They weren't partying that night, though it didn't matter - neither of them were drinkers. Jay Chord was taking the Bumfholes to another kind of bar - a strip bar. Already, the young second-generation star was proving to be a bad influence. Other than that, everyone was accounted for, from jobber to main eventer, from road agent to announcer, and the owner himself.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

"TC-Dub's goin' down, baby!", yelled former TCW midcarder Man Mountain Cahill, now an SWF midcarder. He was drinking it up with his real-life and in-ring bandmates Randall Hopkirk, Billy Jack Shearer and Jack Bruce. Also spotted at that table were Robbie Retro and the "booker man", Brian Candido. Outside, Hannah Potter was smoking a cigarette and yelling on the phone - she and her football player boyfriend were having another fight, presumably over Mr. Booker Man (as many workers were now calling Brian), ten years her senior yet obviously quite interested in her. On a happier note in the relationships department, Sean and Victoria McFly were partying with the SWF crew. Despite her loyalty to NOTBPW and the Stone family, Vicki had given her blessing to her husband to accept a lucrative deal with the SWF, and was taking this rare opportunity to mingle with workers and execs from another promotion.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Meanwhile, Christian Faith was knocking back more beers than he normally would. He was upset, no question about that. His 14-year-old son Matty was a real handful. Perhaps growing up with his dad on the road so often turned him into a rebellious sort. He had bad grades, was frequently getting into fights, and had a reputation as a bully. That wasn't how Christian was circa 1979-80, during his junior high days. Young Christian was a good student, was friendly and popular with fellow students, and became an eventual high school star in both wrestling and football. He did, however, drop out of college to become a pro wrestler, and it wasn't because he hated school. He did it for his family, opposed at first to his sudden decision to become a "sports entertainer" but supportive in the end due to their financial situation. Now that he had it all in terms of material wealth, Christian couldn't understand why his boy found it so hard to live up to his expectations.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Family matters aside, though, he was upset about something else. The North American belt.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

"Rick, I can't wear that belt anymore," Christian told Mr. Eisen. "I'm not sure if you guys want North American to become a main event belt, but for me, it's always been midcard." This was a bit unlike Christian Faith. He was the last guy you'd accuse of only looking out for number one. But being an SWF veteran of over 20 years, he had his pride.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Mr. Eisen thought it would be as easy as dropping the belt to anyone in the midcards. "Then drop it to DuBois, Huntingdon, any of those young kids." Then again, he was a bit drunk at that point. "I'm sorry, Christian. Now's probably not the right time to talk."</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

"Are you telling Brian how to do his job?"</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

"Me, tell Brian how to book? Hell no, I mean heck no. He's got free reign to book any way he wants."</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

"That's not what I'm hearing."</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

"We're celebrating here, Christian! Go grab another beer, everything's on me tonight. Everything!"</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

"Rick, we've been friends ever since my first few years doing jobs. I'm just asking you to do what's right. Let's follow through with your plan of creating a second main event belt. Assuming I still hold the North American belt in a couple weeks, I can drop that, you can put the second main strap on me, then we can have a midcarder hold North American again."</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Mr. Eisen was taken aback as he hadn't told anyone about this plan, not even Faith. "Who told you about the Supreme Heavyweight title?"</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

And now it even had a name of its own. "News travels fast," replied Faith while signaling a waitress for another beer. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

"I don't even know if it's a good idea." Eisen was now slurring his words. "But seeing that you are indeed too big for the North American title, seeing that somebody had the bright idea of making the SWF's Living Legend a North American champ at 43..."</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

"Now, don't blame Brian for that. This is probably my fault in a way, because I told him I wasn't happy losing two matches so early in the year back in January. I'd appreciate it if you give the Supreme Heavyweight idea a little more thought. But for now, I guess I've got to think first of what's more important at this point. My family."</em></p>

OOC - TEW 2013 beta's coming tomorrow (and I'd definitely like to test that) and I'm swamped with work, even on a weekend. But be rest assured I'll be keeping this diary alive in some form or another even with TEW 2013 out. (Will most likely create my own TEW 2013 SWF diary too.) Sorry if I haven't been updating this too often, but thanks to everyone who's still dropping by! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
