The C-Verse Rerender Project: Part Deux

 

 

With a new game and new database out it's time to start fresh with this project. I'll attempt to keep all pertinent data here in the first post to avoid any confusion or needless repetition of questions. The photobucket has been started anew for the release of TEW 2013 and PB's new "We won't screw up your images quality" settings. The zip folder download is being abandoned for what will hopefully be a better option, a dropbox folder. This option will mean no more waiting for an up to date zip (and less work for me) as anyone can choose to download the folder as it is at the time of download. This essentially means the download option will be updated whenever the photobucket is now.

The Goal

 

The goal of this project is quite simple really; To replace all the renders you've been staring at for ages or just don't care for with new renders that make you go "Oooo, shiny.", or something like that.

 

 

Potential Artist info

 

All images in this thread were created with the rendering programs Poser (paid) and DAZ Studio (Currently free). Please visit the linked sites and their forums to learn more about the programs. Trell's Render Tutorial (using DAZ Studio 3) can be found HERE, DAZ's New to DS4 Youtube playlist can be found HERE. Free content can be found at Renderosity under Free Stuff and ShareCG (acct required for both). I've provided a Render Starter Kit for new artists to DAZ Studio which includes light sets, render presets, and information on key render settings and links to free content. The Kit can be found HERE.

Made it rather quick without much polish, but had to do it as the render just looked too dated to me for one of the top workers of one of my favourite promotions <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />. I tried to capture her no-nonsense technical crispness and the B- sex-appeal. If you don't like it, plz state what needs to be changed. There are characters people made already, often for free. You can make edits of them. Sometimes you have to make eyebrows or skin yourself, but mostly it's a combination of resources on the net.

If you're the original renderer of have the source data: sure. But someone already made a rerender for it last year. I liked it more than the original but it wasn't replaced unfortunately.

<p>Didn't try the actual dropbox option (ie sign up or send to my dropbox), but the download as zip is nice took mere seconds to dl each folder as a zip and as one big zip containing all. As I said though didn't try the dropbox option so can't speak to the options it adds.</p><p> </p><p>

EDIT: The Photobucket tag list is my favorite way to browse this great resource for the re-renders you have going here. As most times I am looking for a re-render of a specific worker.</p>
