KnowYourEnemy
This is a really rookie question that may have been answered before, but is there a way or program I can use to write out my Dynasties? doing them in the message box and always pressing preview is really putting me off writing them. Plus then i could just swap in pictures etc faster FictionPlus works fairly well for diary writing -- there is a bit of a learning curve, but I've worked with it before pretty well. Bad Feminist
Yeah I've been doing that too, but its seems to take forever, Oh my goodness, that FictionPlus thing is amazing! It eliminates so much time! I could knock out a show in half an hour by the feel of it!

RKOwnage
Does fictionplus have a way to save progress? I accidentally lost everything yesterday :/ This is its downfall, it does not have a save function. The best thing you can do is export every now and then, and then copy that code somewhere you can save it. This way, if you lose everything you can toss that code into a post preview and then C&P your pictures and write-ups over onto your new FictionPlus page. Bad Feminist
What is the etiquette on starting a new diary? I was writing a WWF 94 diary but it was just my first and I was getting the hang of it but then work dragged me away from writing it, when I came back to it i didn't seem to have the drive (plus WWF 94 is very slow) But if I start again will people be like "urgh, another one?" Also if you are a bit strapped for time may I suggest ECW 98, considering they have an hour show.

I have started 6 or 7 and all of them have died or lose passion for it. I would say find era you like and company you like. Mold it the way you want it, that's what most of the best dynasties on here do.Some people try to stick with history, but adding their own flair to it. It depends all on you as the writer the story your trying to bring to the forum.
Bad Feminist
Well my fav year in wrestling ever is WWF 1992, I think its nearly flawless, So I'd love to play the rising storms mod and sculpt a 92 of my own

Phantom Stranger
(Its a little rough, but how would this fair as an intro post?) The basic concept is sound, the voice is mostly there, and I do like me some Mayhem Midden. He probably wouldn't describe himself as 'seemingly' retired, though. People don't tend to. "I was unemployed, a lot of folks thought I was retired..."
DevinTEW13
I am a huge fan of Mayhem Midden and I chose for him to say seemingly retired because I tried to give off a sense that he was happy drinking beer everyday and hanging out with fellow vets that he considers his friends. However, after he saw the horrible miss management of AMW he just had to do something...

But people don't call themselves 'seemingly' unless they're doing intro narration for their own TV show, and that's all I was picking up on. Jaded
Agree with PS about the 'seemingly retired', but overall I liked it. Short and to the point, and an interesting character and fed, neither of which I've read many dynasties about.

Frootloop
How would people feel about a dynasty wherein the major matches are written up entirely through commentary? Like instead of writing play-by-play I would have what my announcers say to put the action and storylines across.

smwilliams
How would people feel about a dynasty wherein the major matches are written up entirely through commentary? Like instead of writing play-by-play I would have what my announcers say to put the action and storylines across. I've thought about doing this for whenever I start my next dynasty. You can use it to call major points of the match and further the story line. The problem is avoiding being repetitive with the commentary and making sure the announcers stay in character so to speak. I say give it a shot!
