Rickymex
I don't mean to sound like a douche but if they want to reinvent a character there is a re-render thread for that. This thread is (I Think) for people to request minor changes to pictures that already exist so while he's asking for 15 characters he's doing what this thread is for. Eisen-verse
If I see one more request for someone in a suit, I may top myself. Be inventive people! The thread has gone to poo. As someone who literally just asked for this alt a few days ago, I think you're making a big deal out of something rather small. Yes, a suit alt is popular; however, just putting someone in a suit isn't a gimmick; it's what goes behind it. It's just a look.
Rickymex
Plus I'm sure that suits are very important for the presentation of angles. Let's say you are going to have a contract signing or press release(if you play japan) you needs the suits to add the feeling of class even if the guy still has the same gimmick be it a rocker, a cocky douchebag or the king of fululandia. This thread is (I Think) for people to request minor changes to pictures that already exist so while he's asking for 15 characters he's doing what this thread is for. I don't mean re-render - that is incredibly different and very few in this forum are able to do that. I mean alternative versions, for example somebody has turned Jeremy Stone into a biker gimmick and wants him to look like that, or KC Glenn and Edd Stone have formed a tag team called "Welcome To Glamrock" etc. My point is, the user is perfectly capable of adding 15 headbands himself, he just wants someone else to complete the laborious task for him. That's not what (I see) the thread being about. The same applies to the suit point - I don't believe for one second nobody in this forum can work out how to cut out a suit from Google and paste it onto their character, but instead they ask someone else to do it for them because they can't bothered. It should be about people helping people with things they can't do, not people just allocating work to people. A perfect example being the request a few posts up about changing the workers mask to show a different flag - that is something I can accept that your average person isn't able to do themselves and thus may need someone with a broader grasps of graphics to complete. I'm not trying to be rude or obnoxious (but probably failing), I just think people need to start contributing to the community rather than just taking from it and expecting other people to do work for them that they're capable of doing themselves. I completely agree and understand why the suit alt is popular, but of course you think I'm making a big deal, because you're not one of the people that's doing the work for people, you're just allocating it. It takes you 10 seconds to ask someone to do it, it might take them 30 minutes to do it for you. To take the case in point, adding 15 headbands to characters is probably a good hours work that you're asking somebody to complete on your behalf in their free time just so that you (I know it's not you per se) can enjoy your game more. Nobody else wants it done. Just you. It won't benefit anybody else, so person X wants person Y, who he doesn't know whatsoever, to give them an hour of their time for free and do a job for them. When you put it in that perspective, do you then see my point? If a perfectly fit and healthy stranger came up to you in the street and asked you to spend an hour clearing up their house for them whilst they stood and watched, what would YOUR response be? Not directed at you specifically, but my gripe perhaps lies around the question: "Did you ever do anything in return for them or the community or do you just take?" Being a part time alter I figured I'd add something here. It sounds me to like you're trying to buck the system so to speak. This is an alt request thread as well as a "look what I did" thread. So what if someone wants someone in a suit or if someone wants 15 headbands so that a stable looks like a united front. Is anyone specifically asking you to do them? You're not the only alter here and while some requests take longer than others and some are simpler than others, there is no point in flying off the handle about one particular request. EdJames
I appreciate I'm not being asked to do it, nor am I intending to fly off the handle or buck a system. The alters, modders and renderers here give up a lot of their time to keep the community and game alive and I'm just asking that people consider if it's something they might be able to do themselves and appreciate how much time something would take. Asking for 15 renders that the user could easily do themselves if they could be bothered, and that are specific to their own game, just felt a little like the poster was taking a liberty and I felt the need to call them on it. As I said, if a perfectly fit and healthy stranger came up to you in the street and asked you to spend an hour clearing up their house for them whilst they stood and watched, what would YOUR response be? In the interest of keeping the thread moving though, I've included a PNG of the headband below which the poster can add himself the the remaining characters and then created a Chord, Keith and Gauge alt. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v677/EdJames/Headband2_zpsd0af232f.png:original http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v677/EdJames/JayChord_zpsb19277e0.jpg:originalhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v677/EdJames/GregGauge_zps750c1d9c.jpg:originalhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v677/EdJames/MatthewKeith_zpsaea6feae.jpg:original
Eisen-verse
I was wondering if someone could alter Des Davids to give him more of a unique look. With this in mind, I was hoping something along the lines of Wesley Snipes character in "Demolition Man"? The hair color would be great. Also, possibly some circular sunglasses; ala 90's fashion? This is the image I'm using for Des Davids: http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o702/Supreme_Epic/Open/DesDavids_zps460a5025.jpg As a reference, this is Wesley's character from "Demolition Man": http://www.movieactors.com/freezes1/DemolitionMan34.jpeg Here are the 90's sunglasses: http://img1.etsystatic.com/015/0/7638710/il_340x270.412104765_5wyb.jpg Thank you! EdJames
I need to go back and change it - the eye glasses are meant to have a degree of transparency to them (think I lost it went I merged the layers) and the hair doesn't quite look right. EdJames
My pleasure, that was a pretty challenging one as you had to remake a hair texture from scratch which is tough in such small dimensions. Not delighted with the end result, but it's good enough!

I'm excited to put it into work soon. Also, if I didn't already have a plan for Frehley, the tag team between the two would be pretty sweet! Scorpio3060
In my current Road to Glory game I have decided to be random with most of the names for my promotion. This means most workers have been given new Alter Egos that I got from a wrestling name app I have. For example Greg Gauge is now Lord Shizzle. I was wondering if anyone could help with a remake a young tag team for me. It is Captain Volcano (formerly Riddick Jordan) and The Bionic Legend (a regen of Jeremy Allen). They are the new tag team Power and Glory. It would be great if I could get these two with a superhero type look. http://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww195/Scorpio3060/RiddickJordan_zps427c42b3.jpghttp://i719.photobucket.com/albums/ww195/Scorpio3060/JeremyAllen_zps05533a25.jpg
dbritton987
Hey guys, just two small requests that maybe someone can pull together. 1) Joshua Taylor w/Sunglasses - I have him teaming with Danny Fonzarelli in TCW, but they're the only team I have that really looks like an odd couple. Preferably with large sunglasses, but hey I'll take what I can get! 2) Joss Thompson in a Suit (Sunglasses optional) - This might be floating around somewhere, but Thompson is my newest member of the Syndicate and future replacement of Wolf Hawkins when he turns face. So I want him to fit in. Thanks!

However posts like this, and maybe even more helpful stuff, where you actually try to help people learn how to do alts rather than do it for them, will help everyone in the long run.
