CZCW has a new home! Tonight, Christmas Cage Chaos is being held in the brand new Arena at the Coastal Resort in beautiful San Diego, California. There is seating for 5,000 fans, and every seat is taken tonight! Cliff Anderson has the play by play, while the Guru and Honey Golightly are on color.

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/CliffAnderson.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/TheGuru.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/HoneyGolightly.jpg

Dragón Del Arco vs. Matthew Keith

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/DragnDelArcoIris.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MatthewKeith.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Matthew Keith defeated Dragón Del Arco Iris Jr in 12:27 by submission with a Proton Lock.

Keith gets back into the swing of things with a win over Dragón. Keith grounded the high flying Dragón with his superior submission moves and holds. If Keith can continue his winning, he will be a big part of the Coastal Zone’s future.

Coastal Zone Xtreme Championship

Jonnie Perez vs. Air Attack Weasel

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/JonniePerez-1.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/AirAttackWeasel.jpg

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Air Attack Weasel defeated Jonnie Perez in 7:59 by pinfall with an Air Attack Ace. Air Attack Weasel makes defense number 8 of his Coastal Zone Xtreme title.

The younger Perez is not as skilled in the ring as his big brother. Weasel pounded away at the overmatched Jonnie, winning with his modified cutter, the Air Attack Ace. Weasel may be the best Xtreme Champion that CZCW has had in years.

Coastal Zone Tag Team Championship

Clark Alexander and Simon Waves vs. Hernandez & Jameson

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/ClarkAlexander.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/SimonWaves.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MainstreamHernandez_alt4.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/KirkJameson.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Hernandez & Jameson defeated Clark Alexander and Simon Waves in 12:06 when Mainstream Hernandez defeated Simon Waves by pinfall with an Apparition #14. Hernandez & Jameson make defence number 8 of their Coastal Zone Tag Team titles.

James “Mainstream” Hernandez was the star of this match. Clark Alexander didn’t provide much help to his partner, the young Simon Waves. Jameson had a good match, but Hernandez was the best man in this one.

Al Coleman vs. Hell Monkey

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/AlColeman.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/HellMonkey.jpg

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Hell Monkey defeated Al Coleman in 14:27 by pinfall with a Tumbling Monkey.

Hell Monkey made the struggling Coleman look like a chump. There have been reports that Coleman is on his way out of the Coastal Zone, but many argue that over the past few months, has he really even been here anyway? Hell Monkey’s Japanese inspired style can take him far here.

Greg Black vs. Fox Mask vs. Donnie J vs. Remmy Skye

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/GregBlack.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/FoxMask_alt2.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/DonnieJ_alt3.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/Remmy-Skye-alt1.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Greg Black defeated Fox Mask, Donnie J and Remmy Skye in 19:15 when Greg Black defeated Donnie J by pinfall with a Fade To Black.

Fun match up in this fatal four-way, even though the quality was a little disappointing. Black was the first to score a pinfall over Donnie while tag partners Remmy Skye and Fox Mask battled on the entrance ramp. After this match, Greg Black has earned victories over all the big names in the Coastal Zone that aren’t in tonight’s championship match. Does that put him next in line for a title shot?

Coastal Zone Championship Cage Match

Masked Cougar vs. Frankie Perez vs. Mikey James

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/Masked-Cougar-alt4.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/FrankiePerezALT.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MikeyJamesALT.jpg

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Mikey James defeated Masked Cougar and Frankie Perez in a Cage match in 29:46 when Mikey James defeated Masked Cougar by pinfall with a Dragon Whip. Mikey James makes defence number 13 of his Coastal Zone Championship title.

Mikey James comes up big again, proving he is the true champion of the Coastal Zone! This was a violent, bloody match. Cougar raked Perez’s face on the cage, busting him open the hard way. James managed to avoid a Cougar Pounce and the P-Clutch back to back. Perez did fall victim to the Cougar Pounce, but James hit the Dragon Whip on Cougar before Cougar knew what hit him. Perez couldn't recover quick enough to break up the pinfall. James wins again!

“So, your first year is in the books, and it was a rousing success.”

Honey smiled. It was true, wasn’t it? She was hired off the street last January. Twelve months later, CZCW had three times as much money in the bank as when she started. Under her book, they drew more than they ever had before. They financed a new arena. They put on the best show the promotion had ever seen. It was an 180 degree turn. “Thank you Cliff. I’m really proud of the work we’re doing.”

“You should be,” he added. “But things are going to change. You can’t keep doing this well without someone noticing you and your product. If you don’t leave, the wrestlers will.”

“I’m not going anywhere, Cliff. I’ll hang around as long as you will let me.”

“That’s good to hear, Honey. But are you ready for when the talent leaves? You have a champion who has held the strap for over a year-”

“Let me stop you right there, Cliff,” Honey interjected. “Weasel might get an offer somewhere else, but I don’t think we are going to lose him.” She smiled.

“You and I both know that I am not talking about Air Attack Weasel. Mikey James is our top guy, but at this rate, he’s going to be someone else’s top guy soon. And I don’t think he would be in that position without you. So congratulations.”

“No one has made him an offer yet, right?” she asked.

“No, no. not yet. But I’ve seen scouts at the shows, Honey. It is going to happen, it’s only a question of when. Until then, let’s make the best of what we have. What do you have planned for us in the next few months?”

Honey smiled. The Coastal Zone was moving in the right direction, and she was leading the way.

CZCW Dirtsheet

by Chet Perkins

Big changes in the Coastal Zone! Reports from San Diego say that CZCW has released Al Coleman, Clark Alexander, and Heather Halo. Coleman has been on the CZCW roster for a long time, but his bad attitude was the cause for his release. Alexander joined the promotion last summer, but his high price tag couldn’t justify the in-ring product. Halo, Alexander’s sister, was sparsely used and won’t be missed,

With Coleman gone, CZCW management has decided to place manager WIllow with Matthew Keith. Keith is due for a big push in the coming weeks, and having an attractive manager is thought to help get him over.

Reports are coming in that American Elemental has also signed with the promotion. Am El is likely to be used on the next show, which will be the first of the year.

COMING SOON ON CZCW: SWEETER THAN WINE

A title finally changes hands! In fact, more than one!

A future superstar signs on with the Coastal Zone!

A new promotion means a new non-aggression pact!

Main eventer are signed away!

A major promotion closes its doors!

And more!

Greg Black vs. Mikey James for the Coastal Zone Championship

As I said last time, James has had a good run with the belt and held for over a year now. Someone else is probably going to get their turn soon and since it wasn't Masked Cougar I think it's going to be Greg Black.

Masked Cougar vs. Fox Mask

Cougar wins this match a regains some momentum after failing to win the title.

COTT Initiative: Cameron Vessey & Casey Valentine vs. Hernandez & Jameson for Coastal Zone Tag Team Championship

I can't see them dropping the title to a team that's on loan!

Matthew Keith vs. Frankie Perez

I think this could go either way. Frankie Perez is one of the major players in CZCW but according to the dirtsheet, Keith is in line for a big push so I'm going to go with him.

Fumihiro Ota vs. Marc Speed

Ota is kind of old. He should be putting younger guys like Marc Speed over.

American Elemental vs. California Love Machine

At the Arena at the Coastal Resort, in front of 4,866 fans, it's CZCW Revolution! Cliff Anderson, the Guru and Honey Golightly are at the announce table.

Coastal Zone Tag Team Championship

Cameron Vessey & Casey Valentine vs. Hernandez & Jameson

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/CameronVessey.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CaseyValentine.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MainstreamHernandez_alt4.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/KirkJameson.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Hernandez & Jameson defeated Cam Vessey & Valentine in 17:32 when Kirk Jameson defeated Casey Valentine by submission with a Kirk-Hold. Hernandez & Jameson make defence number 9 of their Coastal Zone Tag Team titles.

Hernandez and Jameson make the Coastal Zone faithful proud, retaining the tag titles over Cameron Vessey and Casey Valentine, better know as MAW’s C-V-2. Hernandez again looked great, but his partner got the win via submission over Valentine just after the 17 minute mark. Great start to 2014 for the Coastal Zone.

American Elemental vs. California Love Machine

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/AmericanElemental_zps83072a17.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/CaliforniaLoveMachine.jpg

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, American Elemental defeated California Love Machine in 13:23 by pinfall with an Inferno Splash.

American Elemental makes his 2014 debut in CZCW with a big win over CLM. Am El is a high flyer who has spent a lot of time in Japan, namely with WLW. Historians may remember that Am El was part of the promotion in the early 2000s. Am El is a great fit for the Coastal Zone, as his high flying moves will entertain fans for months to come.

10 Man Battle Royale

Air Attack Weasel, Donnie J, Dragón, Ernest Youngman, Hell Monkey, Jackpot Jordan, Jonnie Perez, KC Glenn, Matt Sparrow, Remmy Skye

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Donnie J won a battle royal in 18:54. The other members of the 'final four' were Dragón Del Arco Iris Jr, Hell Monkey and Remmy Skye, with Dragón Del Arco Iris Jr being the final elimination. Hell Monkey got the most eliminations over the course of the match.

The idea behind this match was to give the roster a chance to start the year off with a big win. Everyone started in the ring, but only Donnie J finished there. In fact, he won by only eliminating on person: Dragón! Hell Monkey took out Perez, Glenn and Xtreme Champion Weasel before Dragón kicked out Jordan. Youngman dropped Sparrow, who then got knocked out again by Hell Monkey, leaving the final four. Skye took out the Hell Monkey. Dragón and Donnie double teamed Skye, with Dragón getting in the deciding blow. Donnie brawled with Dragón and sent him over the top rope for the win!

Matthew Keith vs. Frankie Perez

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MatthewKeith.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/FrankiePerezALT.jpg

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Frankie Perez defeated Matthew Keith in 17:31 by pinfall with a Perfect Parity.

Matthew Keith was joined by Willow for this match as his manager. While the two make a great pair, they couldn’t come up with the win over a rebounding Frankie Perez. The put on a good match in what turned out to be a great show. Keith couldn’t find an answer to Perez’s strikes, and he suffered another loss.

63

Fumihiro Ota vs. Marc Speed

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/FumihiroOta.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MarcSpeed.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Fumihiro Ota defeated Marc Speed in 13:29 by pinfall with a Ninja Strike.

Fumihiro Ota, a Japanese wrestler joins the Coastal Zone with a win over the business like Marc Speed. Speed wanted nothing of Ota’s ninja antics, but he ended up getting them anyway. Speed thought he was in a good position for the win, but he didn’t see the Ninja Strike coming, because, you know, Ota is a ninja.

50

Masked Cougar vs. Fox Mask

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/Masked-Cougar-alt4.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/FoxMask_alt2.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Masked Cougar defeated Fox Mask in 16:41 by pinfall with a Cougar Pounce.

Masked Cougar comes away with a win over Fox Mask. Cougar, who has unsuccessfully battled for the Coastal Zone Championship as of late, took out his frustrations early on Fox Mask. Fox fought his way back into it and held the upper had for most of the second half of the match. Fox slipped up, however, when Cougar flipped through a German Suplex. Cougar went on the offensive and cam away with the win.

Coastal Zone Championship

Greg Black vs. Mikey James

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/GregBlack.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MikeyJamesALT.jpg

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Greg Black defeated Mikey James in 26:47 by pinfall with a Fade To Black. Greg Black wins the Coastal Zone Championship title.

After spending all of 2013 with the Coastal Zone Championship, Mikey James finally falls to Greg Black! Black, formerly of SWF, has been rising through the ranks of the Coastal Zone. James put up a good fight, although being unfamiliar with the opponent, he got caught in a few moves he should have had scouted. Black took no chances, hitting both the “Pity the Fool” and the “Fade to Black” to lock up the win. Black wins his first Coastal Zone Championship.

Coastal Zone Championship Wrestling is proud to announce the Coastal Zone Trios Tournament. CZCW will be hosting the tournament over the next two shows. The tournament will be the first of an annual battle for the Coastal Zone Trios Championship. Four teams will compete in this year’s edition. The four captains have been selected, and each will pick their own team. As it stands now, the teams are:

Black Out: Captain Greg Black, Fox Mask and Remmy Skye

Flash Sparrow: Captain Matt Sparrow, the American Flash and ???

Cali Dragons: Captain Mikey James, Frankie Perez and ???

Team Keith: Captain Matthew Keith, ??? and ???

Picking the CZCW Trios Teams

By Chet Perkins

Speculation is running wild on who the mystery competitors will be. CZCW has made it a point to use plenty of COTT wrestlers, so our guesses will rely heavily on them.

Black Out: All the wrestlers are revealed for this team. This should be the team to beat. Black is CZ Champ, and Zone Out are as good as any other duo on the roster.

Flash Sparrow: Captain Matt Sparrow doesn’t have a lot of past partners to choose from.

Cali Dragons: Captain Mikey James has reunited with his tag partner and former foe Frankie Perez, but who will join them? The two spent a lot of time fighting with Masked Cougar recently. Maybe they pull out the big guns and bring in Enforcer Roberts? Maybe Sparrow picks some of the young, new talent on the roster to team with him and Flash? Spencer Spade could debut, and a winning would really help get him over.

Team Keith: Matthew Keith’s first choice is pretty easy. His father, Sam, competed with his son last year in the Coastal Zone, so he is a good fit. The second choice is a little tougher. Greg Gauge, Matthew’s twin brother, would be a slam dunk choice, but his availability is in question. Maybe Keith brings in Findlay O'Farraday, his former teammate from the Sam Keith Invitational?

Air Attack Weasel is on the mic backstage.

So all I’m hearing about is this Coastal Zone Trios Championship. You know who would make a good team captain? Me, the Weasel? But did I get asked? Oh no, why would they want to put over their Xtreme Champion? Just so you know, I’m currently the longest reigning champion too! The management is keeping me down, and they are keeping you, the fans, from seeing me in action. I say we abolish the government that keeps us down. We need to let chaos reign over the Coastal Zone. Now wouldn’t that be extreme?

Card for CZCW Breakdown

Coastal Zone Trios Semi Finals Matches:

Black Out (Greg Black, Fox Mask and Remmy Skye) vs. Flash Sparrow (Matt Sparrow, the American Flash, and ???)

The Cali Dragons (Mikey James, Frankie Perez, and ???) vs. Team Keith (Matthew Keith , ??? and ???)

AND

Rich & Famous vs. Hernandez & Jameson for the Coastal Zone Tag Team Championship

American Elemental vs. Air Attack Weasel for the Coastal Zone Xtreme Championship

Donnie J vs. Fumihiro Ota

California Love Machine vs. Hell Monkey

You can earn up to 3 bonus points for correctly guessing the remaining team members for Flash Sparrow, the Cali Dragons and Team Keith. Each correctly guessed team will be worth one point.

It's time for CZCW Breakdown! Almost 5,000 people are in attendance tonight to see the Coastal Zone action. The usual crew are at the announce table.

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Fumihiro Ota defeated Donnie J in 17:22 by pinfall with a Ninja Strike.

Donnie J was resilient, but Fumihiro Ota was persistent. Donnie and Ota battled back and forth to start the match. Ota got the upper hand and hit the Ninja Strike, but Donnie did not accept defeat quite yet. He got up to his feet, dazed, and stumbled around a bit before falling to one knee. Ota hit another Ninja Strike, and Donnie was out cold.

California Love Machine vs. Hell Monkey

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/CaliforniaLoveMachine.jpgVS,http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/HellMonkey.jpg

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Hell Monkey defeated California Love Machine in 7:41 by pinfall with a Tumbling Monkey.

Hell Monkey impressed the crowd with his innovative style here. They were particularly impressed with the Tumbling Monkey, a spinning finishing maneuver off the top rope. Monkey wins, and his stock rises in the Coastal Zone.

Coastal Zone Tag Team Championship

Rich & Famous vs. Hernandez & Jameson

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/JakeIdol.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/JackpotJordan.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MainstreamHernandez_alt4.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/KirkJameson.jpg

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Hernandez & Jameson defeated Rich And Famous in 14:37 when Mainstream Hernandez defeated Jake Idol by pinfall with a Super Kick. Hernandez & Jameson make defense number 10 of their Coastal Zone Tag Team titles.

With the tag team titles on the line, Hernandez and Jameson do not disappoint. Hernandez continues to shine in the tag division. He was picked on early by Idol and Jordan, but Jameson made the save. Hernandez came back with the ever dangerous Super Kick to retain.

60

Coastal Zone Xtreme Championship

American Elemental vs. Air Attack Weasel

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/AmericanElemental_zps83072a17.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/AirAttackWeasel.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, American Elemental defeated Air Attack Weasel in 14:08 by pinfall with an Inferno Splash. American Elemental wins the Coastal Zone Xtreme title.

The Weasel has always had a big mouth, but for once he couldn’t back up his words! American Elemental makes a big splash in the Xtreme Division by beating the champion for the title. After the match, Weasel complained that he wasn’t ready and that he was screwed over, but what else would you expect?

63

Black Out (Greg Black, Fox Mask and Remmy Skye) vs. Team Sparrow (Matt Sparrow, the American Flash, and Insane Machine)

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/GregBlack.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/FoxMask_alt2.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/Remmy-Skye-alt1.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MattSparrow.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/TheAmericanFlash.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/InsaneMachine.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Greg Black and Zone Out defeated Insane Machine and Flash Sparrow in 21:04 when Greg Black defeated Insane Machine by pinfall with a Fade To Black.

Insane Machine returns to the Coastal Zone to join his protege the American Flash and team Captain Matt Sparrow. Unfortunately for them, the new Coastal Zone Champion was on a roll, and he brought Zone Out with him. Black Out worked to isolate the American Flash, targeting him as the weakest member of the team. Insane Machine finally got the tag, but Black hit his signature “Fade to Black” and the match was over.

66

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/SpencerSpade.jpg

Spencer Spade debuts in the Coastal Zone with a promo from backstage. Spade says he knows where the action is, and it’s right here. He will show the Coastal Zone exactly how good he is. He says he knows the best come here, but now the best just got better.

49

Cali Wildlife (Mikey James, Frankie Perez, and Masked Cougar) vs. Team Keith (Matthew Keith , Sam Keith and Findlay O'Farraday)

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MikeyJamesALT.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/FrankiePerezALT.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/Masked-Cougar-alt4.jpgVS.http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/CZCW/MatthewKeith.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/SamKeith_alt2_zps66bf61b7.jpghttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y240/BigBen5/FindlayOFarraday-1.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Masked Cougar and The Cali Dragons defeated Matthew Keith, Sam Keith and Findlay O'Farraday in 25:32 when Mikey James defeated Findlay O'Farraday by pinfall with a Dragon Whip.

Lots of interesting storylines here. Just weeks after the three men battled back and forth for the Coastal Zone Championship, Frankie Perez, Masked Cougar and Mikey James join forces in the Coastal Zone Trios Tournament. James and Perez go way back as teammates, but Masked Cougar seems to be the wildcard here. “If you can’t beat them, join them”? Or maybe “Keep your friends closer, keep your enemies closer”? On the other side of the ring, Matthew Keith bring his father, former World Champion Sam Keith, and superstar Findlay O'Farraday. Matthew and O'Farraday have teamed up before, and O'Farraday is a big part of Keith’s MAW. Cali Wildlife, as they decided to call themselves, had the drive to win over Keith and the MAW crew.

Black Out vs. Cali Wildlife for the Coastal Zone Trios Championship

Greg Black continues his winning streak. There's a good chance Frankie Perez and Mikey James are on their way out so they'll likely be losing on the way out if so.

Dragón Del Arco Iris vs. American Elemental for the Coastal Zone Xtreme Championship

I'm guessing American Elemental is one of the guys leaving, so he needs to drop the belt even though he only just won it.

Simon Waves and Jonnie Perez vs. Hernandez & Jameson for the Coastal Zone Tag Team Championship

Two jobbers vs. one of the best tag teams in the promotion. Easy call.

Fumihiro Ota vs. Matt Sparrow

Ota is getting old, but he just beat Donnie J last week so I doubt he will lose to Matt Sparrow.

Going Coastal vs. Speed & Xavi

Usually I'd go for the more established tag team, but Marc Speed is higher up the card.

Hell Monkey vs. Matthew Keith

The Matthew Keith push starts now?

Workers leaving: American Elemental, Mikey James and Frankie Perez
