The day I stop supporting the Canadian Wrestling Jesus is the day I no longer visit the GDS boards.

Southern Hospitality vs The Paratroopers

Tex Tagan yo'. Kicking ass, taking names, drinking beer. All in a days work for him.

Davie Renluenn vs Nomad – Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship

Doctor Love takes the title and cements his place as the Florida Bay's Most Watched Man. Dick Eisen takes note.

Skip Beau vs Davie Renluenn

Tough one, but Davie needs some wins with hopes of being noticed.

Cal Sanders vs Nomad

Cal is a better worker overall even if Nomad brings more to the table in entertainment value.

Stanley Carpenter vs Canadian Crusher

Keep the monster well fed and happy.

Paranoia vs Alan Parent

Toss up here. Going with Alan because...well...it's Alan

Southern Hospitality vs The Paratroopers

Keep SH looking good so they will look like a threat for tag team gold if there ever is any.

Davie Renluenn vs Cal Sanders – Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship

Going with Davie just because overall he seems like one that can be built around more. A good, annoying heel is much more interesting as a title holder than a bland guy even if said bland guy is a much better worker.

Skip Beau vs Davie Renluenn

He's your star!

Cal Sanders vs Nomad

I get the sense Cal is a face, so he'll face the heel Renluenn in the final.

Stanley Carpenter vs Canadian Crusher

I mark for Crusher! Even though his render makes him look more like a model than a dominating monster.

Paranoia vs Alan Parent

Yeah! One of the most hated workers in CornellVerse history will take out the win here!

Southern Hospitality vs The Paratroopers

Lol...

Davie vs Cal – Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship

Skip Beau vs Davie Renluenn

I'm pretty sure he demands to be the very first champion.

Cal Sanders vs Nomad

Stanley Carpenter vs Canadian Crusher

Since he lost his first match, he probably needs this victory to get himself over.

Paranoia vs Alan Parent

Southern Hospitality vs The Paratroopers

Tex Tagan wouldn't mind losing.

Davie Renluenn vs Cal Sanders – Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship

Like I said above...

Davie Renluenn vs Cal Sanders – Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship

Gotta think that Renluenn is going to be champion and in as many high profile matches as you can get him in... I think you'd get a better quality match for him against Sanders rather than Nomad. The rest are a nice way to split the heels and faces in a way that gives some potential challengers, so Paranoia has to get the win even though he's not really good enough to deserve it. Southern Hospitality are going to win for sure, Tex should kick some ass. :)

Skip Beau vs Davie Renluenn

- Cocky heel coworker for the win... and promotion!

Cal Sanders vs Nomad

- A solid hand who can help keep the match sensible.

Stanley Carpenter vs Canadian Crusher

- His name is spelled correctly. Go and CRUSH Canada. Erm, wait. I meant that differently.

Paranoia vs Alan Parent

- Another case of good bad parenting.

Southern Hospitality vs The Paratroopers

- I hope their tag team finisher is called Southern Discomfort.

Winner of Semi-Final 1 vs Winner of Semi-Final 2 – Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship

- Davey Reunuuleuennulelen. - The cocky co-worker gets the first title, and then bitches out our Hero for not immediately being scooped up by SWF. It's tough being on the bottom of the FBI(PW).

Florida Bay International Pro Wrestling: National Security

Rainbow Bar & Grill, Florida Bay

Saturday W4, February

13 people showed up.

Announce Team:

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/sebsplex/HarveyManners.jpghttp://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/EveRuncord_zpsa1ab512c.jpg

Harvey Manners: Good evening Ladies & Gentlemen, and welcome back to the Rainbow Bar & Grill in the beautiful Florida Bay for the second edition of Florida Bay International Pro Wrestling! My name is Harvey Manners, and I’m joined once again tonight by the beautiful Eve Runcord.”

Eve Runcord: “Thanks Harvey, and what a night it promises to be as we name the very first Florida Bay Heavyweight Champion!”

Harvey Manners: “That’s right we open with our two Semi-Finals, followed by the Final in our Main Event. I can’t wait to get going.”

Eve Runcord: “We’ll be kicking this show off with a bang, with the first of our Semi-Finals! Unfortunately that means we have to put up with this guy...”

Eve is off course referring to Davie Renluenn, who has made his way out from behind the curtain with microphone in hand. Wearing a smug smirk on his face, Davie looks intent on following through on his promise last month to win the title tonight.

Davie Renluenn: “Coming into this title tournament last month, I thought I had a pretty good chance of success. But now that I’ve seen everyone else in action... I KNOW that I’ll become the very first Florida Bay Heavyweight Champion. I mean, did you see the rest of the matches? None of those guys can hold a candle to me.”

Harvey Manners: “Confident words from Davie Renluenn, can he back them up in the ring?”

Eve Runleunn: “I hope not... can you imagine if this guy was our champion?”

Smug smirk still present, Renluenn turns his attention to his opponent in his upcoming match.

Davie Renluenn: “I mean take Skip Beau. I mean sure the guy cuts an impressive figure, 6’5 280lb... but his problem is that he’s just not very bright. Size and strength will only take you so far. Its brains and nous that take you to the promised land... and unfortunately for Skip Beau, his size and his strength... this is as far as their going to take him.”

[i[With a cheeky wink in Eve’s direction, Davie Renluenn concludes the interview in his usual cocky, crude manner.

Davie Renluenn: “I think it’s time for us to get this over with, and for me to take my spot in the final of this tournament. After all, once the Beau’s out the way is when I like to play...”

Rating: F+

Eve Runcord: "Crude as he may be, Davie Renluenn is only one win away from the final of our Championship tournament."

Harvey Manners: "Can he progress here, or will it be Skip Beau who fights for the chance to go down as the first ever Florida Bay Heavyweight Chamoion?"

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/SkipBeau_zpsd97bb52c.jpghttp://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/6229145/1024/CZCW/VS.jpghttp://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/DavieRenluenn_zps911a870f.jpg

Skip Beau vs Davie Renluenn

Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship Tournament - Semi Final

 • Despite having effectively called Skip Beau out prior to this match, Davie Renluenn is surprisingly cautious in the early goings. Seemingly trying to avoid contact with Skip for long periods, using rope breaks to force the referee to call Skip off.
 • Skip eventually grows tired of this tactic, and uses his superior size and strength to haul Davie into the middle of the ring.
 • From here Skip begins unloading, landing heavy rights and lefts which leave Davie reeling.
 • With Skip in control, Davie gets desperate and gouges the eye of his opponent. While this earns him a reprimand from referee Charles Hapstander, it does allow Davie to work his way back into the match.
 • With the momentum of the match shifted by that eye gouge, Davie Renluenn is able to string together some offence and even lands a nice looking Dropkick to send Skip Beau to the mat.
 • With Skip down, Davie takes a moment to show off to Eve at the commentary desk. After informing her “That’s why I’m gonna be Champ!” he blows the Colour Commentator a kiss before turning back to the action.
 • Unfortunately for Davie while he was showing off to Eve his larger opponent had regained his feet, and as Davie turned back into the ring he turned right into a Flow Down from Skip. From here Skip made the cover and picked up the victory, much to the amusement of Eve on commentary.

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Skip Beau defeated Davie Renluenn in 7:25 by pinfall with a Flow Down.

Rating: E

Harvey Manners: “Well it just goes to show, you can never take your eyes off of your opponent!”

Eve Runcord: “It serves him right! And the best news of all is that now we won’t have to listen to him going on about how great he is all of the time.”

Harvey Manners: “I wouldn’t be so sure about that, but regardless Skip Beau progresses into the final of our title tournament!”

Eve Runcord: “But who will he face, Nomad or Cal Sanders? Well we’ll find out right now, as the second semi-final is next!”

Nomad is the first out from behind the curtain, and he has a microphone. It appears he has a message for Cal Sanders before their Semi-Final match.

Nomad: “Now let me tell you people why I’m going to beat Cal Sanders. You see me and Cal go back a long way. I wrestled Cal ten years ago, in one of my very first matches as a wrestler working some micro-indy show up in Canada. Back then he could keep up with me, and represented something of a challenge. However, in the ten years since... we’ve taken very different paths. You see Cal never left the Canadian indy scene, working with the same guys over and over again for over a decade. Never progressing, never improving, just stagnating. Waiting until he was the wrong side of 30 to take a chance and try to make something of himself. I on the other hand, as my name suggests, I went on a journey. I travelled all around North America, seeking out challenges to better myself and to learn from. And because of that journey, I stand before you tonight a better wrestler than I was all those years ago. Cal on the other hand is still the same wrestler he always was. While the road has been long, my journey finally reaches its end tonight. My journey has prepared me to become the very first Florida Bay Heavyweight Champion, and there is nothing Cal Sanders, or Skip Beau for that matter, can do to stop me.”

Rating: F+

Harvey Manners: “Nomad there claiming his Nomadic ways have allowed him to pick up the knowledge he needs to be called the best here in Florida Bay.”

Eve Runcord: “Let’s see if he’s learnt as much as he thinks he has. Cal Sanders is on his way to the ring, and this one is on!”

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/jtlant/CalSanders_alt1jt.jpghttp://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/6229145/1024/CZCW/VS.jpghttp://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/Nomad_zpsd4031abd.jpg

Cal Sanders vs Nomad

Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship Tournament - Semi Final

 • Despite Nomad’s claims of superiority, this proved to be a very open contest with both men enjoying good periods of the action.
 • Cal Sanders spent most of the match using Submission Holds and other technical skills to slow down the pace of the match and try to halt any momentum Nomad had managed to build.
 • While Sanders stuck to one plan, Nomad was more willing to try different things. Starting the match going toe to toe with Sanders technically didn’t work for him, so he switched to more of a brawling style. He later tried to lift the pace of the match and take to the air. However whatever Nomad tried, he was eventually cut off by Sanders technical skills and lost the momentum he had been building.
 • Getting frustrated, Nomad began to bend the rules. An eye gouge allowed him to surprise Sanders with a roll up.
 • Seeing the referee was out of position, Nomad grabbed a handful of trunks. This added leverage kept Sanders shoulders on the mat for the three count, and earned Nomad a questionable victory.

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Nomad defeated Cal Sanders in 6:59 by pinfall with a handful of tights.

Rating: E

Harvey Manners: “Nomad picks up the win, but not using any of this ‘knowledge’ he’s acquired in his decade long travel around North America...”

Eve Runcord: “Unfortunately Harvey, I think what we just saw may have been what Nomad was referring to as his new ‘knowledge’.”

Harvey Manners: “Nomad claims that his decade long nomadic wandering has been leading him to the Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship, but we’ll find out in tonight’s Main Event whether Nomad will be crowned the champion, or if Skip Beau can stop him.”

Eve Runcord: “I’m putting my support firmly behind Skip Beau...”

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/CVFP_WhiteMale_079_zps534f9cb0.jpghttp://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/6229145/1024/CZCW/VS.jpghttp://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/CanadianCrusher_zps6d0ecf6f.jpg

Stanley Carpenter vs Canadian Crusher

 • Canadian Crusher came into this match with a huge size and power advantage, and used it to good effect throughout this match.
 • Carpenter was able to offer small pockets of resistance, but these were quickly overwhelmed by the sheer power of Crusher.
 • Crusher showed off his full array of powerful strikes and slams, before nailing his Full Nelson Slam to pick up an impressive victory.

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Canadian Crusher defeated Stanley Carpenter in 7:23 by pinfall with a Full Nelson Slam.

Rating: E-

Harvey Manners: “An impressive victory for the Canadian Crusher there!”

Eve Runcord: “Did you see the way he just tossed his opponent around there? It was scary!”

Harvey Manners: “I think it’s fair to say the Canadian Crusher will be a forced to be reckoned with her in Florida Bay!”

Eve Runcord: “I certainly wouldn’t want to be the one to get in his way...”

Next up, Alan Parent is on his way down to the ring. However he is not alone, as he is accompanied by an as yet unidentified Japanese woman. Neither look particularly happy, and the Japanese woman is holding a microphone as they enter the ring. The crowd give Alan Parent a hard time on his way down to the ring, much like they did during his match last month at ‘Most Wanted.

Japanese Manager: “My name is Kammy Ling, and I come all the way from Japan ‘cause I hear you stoopid American fans are booing Alan Pawent.”

The fans, obviously not appreciating being called ‘stoopid’, begin booing the newly identified Kammy Ling.

Kammy Ling: “Do you not know who Alan Pawent is? He big star in Japan, big star! And they know real wrestling! Puroresu! Takes real skill, not like this Sports Entertainment powder-puff wrestling you watch here. You will give respect to real wrestling star, and watch as he kicks butt of his opponent right now!”

Paranoia makes his way out from the back with an incredulous look on his face, seemingly not sold on Kammy Ling’s claim of Alan Parent being a big star in the East. However, he does make his way down to the ring and this one is on!

Rating: F

Harvey Manners: “Well here we go! I guess we’re about to be treated to the sight of Puroresu master Alan Parent in action.”

Eve Runcord: “I cannot believe those words just came out of your mouth...”

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/Paranoia_zps3a6fd833.jpghttp://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/6229145/1024/CZCW/VS.jpghttp://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/AlanParent_zps08669c68.jpgw/http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/KammyLing_zpsd8a4e591.jpg

Paranoia vs Alan Parent w/ Kammy Ling

 • Despite the protestations of Kammy Ling, and being informed that Alan Parent was apparently a ‘big star’ in Japan, some portions of the crowd still voiced their disapproval of having to watch Parent wrestle.
 • This proved to be a real clash of styles, as Paranoia’s high flying style met Parent’s... erm ‘Puroresu’ style.
 • The high flying Paranoia took the early initiative in this match, as he kept Parent off his feet in the early going.
 • The turning point of the match came when Kammy Ling subtly tripped a running Paranoia as he looked to bounce off of the ropes. As Paranoia stumbled into the middle of the ring, Parent managed to recover and nail him with a Lariat.
 • Parent took control from this point, and was able to slap on his Parental Lock (Dragon Sleeper). Paranoia struggled briefly, but was stranded in the middle of the ring and had no choice but to tap out.

In an absolutely wretched bout that was devoid of action or heat, Alan Parent defeated Paranoia in 6:30 by submission with a Parental Lock after interference from Kammy Ling.

Rating: F+

Harvey Manners: “Well Alan Parent picks up the win, with a major assist going to his new Japanese manager Kammy Ling.”

Eve Runcord: “I guess being a star in Japan has it’s perks...”

Following Alan Parent’s victory, the Southern duo of Joffy Laine and Tex Tagan make their way out from the back. They seem to be in a better mood than last month, sharing a joke on their way to the ring. Once in the ring, the two Texan’s grab a mic each to address the crowd.

Joffy Laine: “Last month, Tex and I proved to y’all that we are the two most premier talents here in Florida Bay International Pro Wrestlin’, and made the men who left us out of the title tournament look very silly. We beat those boys up good, and Tex damn near took that little boy’s head clean off his shoulders.”

The two men in the ring share a laugh at Paranoia’s expense, before Joffy Laine continues.

Joffy Laine: “Now most normal folk who saw their friend get damn near decapitated would try and stay away from the two boys who done that there decapitating. But apparently a couple of boys have a death wish, and want to get some revenge for their buddy. Well me and Tex here have a little message for them, don’t we Tex...”

Tex Tagan: “Now boys, me and Joffy... we may think you’re stupid, but if there’s one thing us Texans respect its guts. Getting into the ring with me after what I did to your friend last month, that take guts... and that’s why tonight, Joffy and I wanted to offer you some of our famous Southern Hospitality.”

The two men share another laugh, as Paradigm and Paradox make their way out from the back looking to get some revenge after Paranoia was hurt by Tex Tagan last month.

Rating: F+

Harvey Manners: "Last month two-thirds of the Paratroopers came up short against these two rough, tough Texans. Can this new Paratrooper pairing fair any better?"

Eve Runcord: "Judging by the 'hospitality' these two offered Paranoia & Paradigm last month, I'm afraid they might struggle..."

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/Paradigm_zps954d67b3.jpghttp://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/Paradox_zps5a90902f.jpghttp://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/6229145/1024/CZCW/VS.jpghttp://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/shipshirt/JoffyLaine_alt1.jpghttp://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x32/Kidbrit/Puresim/TEW%2013/TexTagan_zps0f7e562b.jpg

The Paratroopers (Paradigm & Paradox) vs Southern Hospitality (Joffy Laine & Tex Tagan)

 • Much like last month, The Paratroopers struggled to match their larger opponents. While they did have brief moments of attack, these were quickly quelled by the Texan’s.
 • Tex Tagan was once again brutal in dealing with his opponents, landing a series of solid strikes that left both Paratroopers reeling.
 • However, it was Joffy Laine who picked up the win for his team, as he nailed the Death Spiral for the pinfall and another win for the Southern Hospitality boys.

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Southern Hospitality defeated Paratroopers I in 7:48 when Joffy Laine defeated Paradigm by pinfall with a Death Spiral.

Rating: E

Harvey Manners: “Another win for the impressive team of Joffy Laine & Tex Tagan...”

Eve Runcord: “Those Texas boys are absolutely brutal in the ring... but like their methods or not, they certainly get the job done.”

Harvey Manners: “You have to wonder how long it will be until they turn their attention to the Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship...”

Eve Runcord: “Well you heard them last month and then again tonight, they are mighty pissed off at not being included in this tournament. So I would imagine it would be sooner rather than later.”

Harvey Manners: “Certainly something for the winner of our Main Event to think of, and that match is next! Who will be crowned the very first Florida Bay Heavyweight Champion? Will it be Skip Beau or Nomad... let’s find out!”

Skip Beau vs Nomad

Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship

 • This match was even throughout, with neither man able to forge a clear advantage as the veteran instincts of Nomad were able to somewhat contain the raw powerhouse in Skip Beau.
 • Both men were able to land a number of moves that picked up near falls, as both men looked to put this one away early. Presumably still feeling the effects of their matches earlier in the night.
 • Towards the end of the match, Nomad began to become overrun with the power game of Skip Beau. In a desperation move, he gouged the eyes of the big man to try and cause a break.
 • This caused the referee to pull Nomad away to the far corner, and reprimand him. While the referee’s back was turned, Davie Renluenn appeared from the crowd jumping up to the apron. Skip Beau had been leaned over the ropes as he tried to clear his eye, Davie took advantage of this as he dropped from the apron causing Skip’s head to guillotine against the top rope.
 • Skip staggered back into the ring, and Nomad seized the opportunity to push past the Charles Hapstander and hit the Drift Wood (STO). Charles Hapstander made the count, and Nomad was named the very first Florida Bay Heavyweight Champion.

In an extremely poor match, Nomad defeated Skip Beau in 8:17 by pinfall with a Drift Shift. During the match we also had Davie Renluenn run in and attack Beau. Nomad wins the Florida Bay Heavyweight title.

Rating: E+

Harvey Manners: “No! Not like this! Davie Renluenn has cost Skip Beau the Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship!”

Eve Runcord: “Nomad has cheated his way through both of his matches tonight, and is our new champion. That doesn’t sit well with me.”

Harvey Manners: “Well they say cheats never prosper, so although Nomad is celebrating tonight... it shouldn’t be too long until someone takes that title from him...”

Eve Runcord: “We can only hope. I’d be willing to bet Skip Beau will have something to say about Davie Renluenn’s interference as well...”

Harvey Manners: “Who will Skip go after first though? Does he go after the Champion, or does he try to teach that punk Davie Renluenn a lesson?"

Eve Runcord: "I hope he goes after Renluenn... I'd love to see him knock some sense into that creep. I wouldn't blame Skip if he chose to go after the title though..."

Harvey Manners:"Well there’s only one way to find out, and that is to join us here in Florida Bay next month! Until then, thank you for watching and good night!”

Good show, and certainly surprising as Renluenn didn't win the Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship as I and several others expected. Nomad seems to be a pain in the ass and definitely has no sense of honour, but I'm sure someone will take vengeance for that injustice, if it's not Skip Beau himself.

I liked the promo of Tex Tagan and Joffy Laine, you wrote that pretty well and granted them good chemistry. Keep them up as a team if the game allows it, since they probably could be very entertaining.

There's also a bit criticism, though - the show had a somewhat boring structure, with one part of the next match coming out to address his/their opponents, then wrestling them before the next one comes out, addressing his/their opponents, then wrestling them... and so on. It wasn't too bothering and thus didn't really lower the show's quality, but you could add more variety next month.

“A decision made in haste or in error?”

With my two trial shows now in the bag, I can’t help but wonder if I’ve done enough to convince Section Chief Davies to let me keep the book in the long term. While neither of the two shows had been as successful as I had hoped, I do think that I had done a good job in making both Tex Tagan and Davie Renluenn look like Main Event guys... even if neither had become the inaugural Florida Bay Heavyweight Champion. My reasoning not to put the belt on either Davie or Tex had originally been that if they could prove they could look like top guys without the belt, they would look like the real deal to anyone looking on from the outside. However, now that I’ve gone through with my decision to put the belt on Nomad... I’m not entirely convinced that I’ve made the right call. I get the impression that Special Agent Cardillo may have been expecting to win the belt, but hopefully he won’t hold that against me too much as I’m sure he will have a say in whether I keep my job, along with Special Agent Peircy and Junior Agent Bruin.

However, I can’t change what is done. Hopefully I can convince Section Chief Davies to keep me on during tomorrow’s meeting, because I do have plans to move both Davie and Tex to the very top of FBI Pro Wrestling. If nothing else, I’ve managed to hit his $10k bank balance goal in only two months. Maybe that will stand me in good stead... even if neither of our agents holds the top title. Only time will tell if I made the right call...

Thanks for posting your reply Xendarii, it's always great to hear what people think of the show. I think a few people were definitely surprised that I decided to give Nomad the title. I'll admit that my original plan was to give Davie the title, but I think that would justify his character just a little too early. I always think cocky heels are at their best when they retain their arrogance in spite of obvious failure. I have plans for Davie in the short term, but don't rule out him taking the title in the not too distant future. ;)

In terms of Skip Beau, he's definitely going to be looking to get some pay back on both Nomad and Davie. Skip is one of the most talented guys on my roster, so expect that to play a central role in my upcoming shows. I hope I can turn you around on Nomad, as I've always liked him as a character and he's someone I've always wanted to use but have never got around to. However, I do appreciate that not everyone is going to like every character I write (or any for that matter :p)... it just means I have to try that much harder to bring them around. :)

I liked the promo of Tex Tagan and Joffy Laine, you wrote that pretty well and granted them good chemistry. Keep them up as a team if the game allows it, since they probably could be very entertaining.
Thank you for the compliment. I definitely plan on keeping them together for a little while longer at least. As I think I've mentioned before in the diary, I put Tex with Joffy to try to leech some of his entertainment skills. I want to keep that experiment going a while longer to see if that's the case.

Well that's no good is it... :o

I honestly didn't even realise that I had done that, so thanks for pointing it out. It's definitely something I'll try to address for the next show, and hopefully the whole thing will read a bit better.

Thanks again for your post. I'll try to take what you've said on board, and hopefully I can put out better write-ups for you to read going forward. :)

"Operation Lullaby"

Case Notes – Entry #5

Filed By: Ted McCulloch

Florida Bay International Pro Wrestling – January-February 2013

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/FBI_zps3615e149.jpg

Promotion Development

While both shows were far from spectacular, it appears that the mere fact that we ran them has improved our standing within the wrestling community. While this will not immediately lead to a glut of new followers for FBIPW, I am anticipating seeing a small increase in attendances in the near future. From a financial standpoint, we have had a very successful two months. We made over $4,000 in profit for January, and despite hiring another worker for our second show, we made over $5,000 profit in February after external incomes. Our current bank balance stands at $10,321.

With this financial success in mind, I have proposed that we move to running two shows a month effective immediately. This will provide the agents twice as many opportunities to catch the eye of Richard Eisen and the SWF, which could help speed up the timeframe of this operation.

http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x32/Kidbrit/Puresim/TEW%2013/TexTagan_zps0f7e562b.jpghttp://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/EveRuncord_zpsa1ab512c.jpghttp://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/DavieRenluenn_zps911a870f.jpg

Agent Usage

Both Special Agent Cardillo and Special Agent Piercy have been pushed strongly as Main Event Heel’s over the previous two months. While neither man currently holds the Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship, both are well placed as potential contenders for the belt. Both men have also been handed plenty of mic time in an attempt to develop their skills, with both men being involved in multiple segments on every show. Special Agent Piercy has also been assigned a tag team partner with the intention of improving his entertainment skills. Special Agent Piercy (as Tex Tagan) and his new partner have been booked particularly strongly, having won both of their matches on the opening two shows. They have also been involved in some of the highest rated segments the company has produced to date, which suggests the pairing has been beneficial for Special Agent Piercy.

Due to the lack of an active women’s division in the SWF, Junior Agent Bruin has been assigned to the Colour Commentators position and has done a solid job in this role during the opening two shows. In an attempt to involve her in the show more than a traditional Colour Commentator might be, I have paired her in a storyline with Special Agent Cardillo (as Davie Renluenn). Hopefully this will bring both to the attention of the wider wrestling world, and potentially the SWF as well.

Future Plans

 • As previously mentioned, March will see FBIPW trial running two shows for the month. If this move allows us to remain profitable, it will become full time from April onwards.
 • I will continue to push Davie Renluenn & Tex Tagan strongly, although it is unlikely I will move the Florida Bay Heavyweight Championship on to either man before I file my next report.
 • I hope to report an improvement in both attendances and show quality by the next report.

"Operation Lullaby"

Case Note – SWF Entry #3

Filed By: Ted McCulloch

On the back of his strong booking in January, Remo was moved into a feud with Christian Faith, rather than with World Champion Steve Frehley as many had expected. While Faith and Remo didn’t actually meet in the ring during February, they were involved in a number of confrontations both backstage and during in-ring angles. Many are speculating that the SWF can’t keep these two out of the ring much longer, and a match between the two is expected at Awesome Impact. The SWF has continued to book Remo strongly throughout this feud, as ‘The Destroyer’ picked up wins against both Jack Bruce and the freshly turned Rich Money.

Meanwhile, Eric Eisen appears to have his sights set on the SWF World Heavyweight Title. ‘The Supremacist’ was able to beat World Champion Steve Frehley two weeks in a row on Supreme TV in non-title bouts. This has seen him elevated to the status of unofficial number one contender, and should see him receive a title shot at Awesome Impact after Frehley successfully defended the title at Nothing To Lose against Vengeance and Christian Faith.

Nothing To Lose also saw Jack Bruce fail to beat the monster Marat Khoklov. Bruce has spent the last month promising that he would overcome the Russian Giant, but interestingly it was Khoklov who picked up the big win. It will be interesting to see if this signifies the start of a PPV win streak for the SWF’s ‘special attraction’, and it will also be interesting to see what this loss means for Jack Bruce’s status as the SWF’s biggest star...

Falling back to National...

On the back of their historic rise to International status exactly a month ago, most onlookers expected a lot of activity in the land of Supreme. However things have been very quiet throughout February, as the promotion simply went about its business as usual. There were no big name signings, no new TV or PPV deals... there was just nothing. This lack of activity has played a large part in TEW.com revising their judgement, and reclassifying the SWF as merely a ‘National’ promotion once again. This is being seen as a major embarrassment to both Richard Eisen and the SWF.

If you ask me, it means something completely different - in particular that you put him across very well, 'cause in the end he is a heel (isn't he?) and as such depends on the fans hating him. Since I do, you've done a great job (;

Thanks again for your post. I'll try to take what you've said on board, and hopefully I can put out better write-ups for you to read going forward. :)

Your write-ups are good! Like I said, it was just the structure of the show and didn't annoy me or something, I just pointed it out in case you didn't recognize it by yourself (and so it served the purpose) (:

Concerning your recent posts:

I really like your case notes, 'cause they're a great way to provide us with interesting background information (especially when you design them like entry #5, which was very well written and gave us a lot of backstage knowledge). Like I said before, it's also great that you give us steadily sight of the happenings in SWF - all in all, I'm still reading, I'll go on with that and look forward to your next posts!
