mistaken
Still think its awesome that you are tackling these, mistaken. I've grabbed a bunch and need to find the time to re-read them. michgcs
There was a must read list 4 years ago [thread=57268]must read list[/thread] I am going to work down this list. but what do we think about redoing this? At least two of those diaries caught my eye: d_w_w's MDC2: The Battle Rages On and Monkeypox's Mark Cuban Does DaVE! as well as one of my favorites: BHK1978's RIPW: The Ballad of Henry Lee I'd like to help extract them and sort them out if you need a hand. This is good work that you're doing, mistaken, and I just want to say that I appreciate it
mistaken
New Diaries up d_w_w's MDC2: The Battle Rages On Monkeypox's Mark Cuban Does DaVE! BHK1978's RIPW: The Ballad of Henry Lee Michgcs did the hard work of editing on these! if anyone has troubles downloading let me know, I have had one complaint, but several downloads of the recently uploaded stuff, so I need to figure out if the problem was an isolated incident, or a problem with the host. Eisen-verse
Eisen-Verse's PSW: The Evolution of Greed Selfishly, I'd LOVE to have this for my own collection. It was SO long ago now; however, it's the project that 'brought me to the dance' so to speak. It'd be a cool PDF to have & look over from time to time. BHK1978
as well as one of my favorites: BHK1978's RIPW: The Ballad of Henry Lee I'd like to help extract them and sort them out if you need a hand. This is good work that you're doing, mistaken, and I just want to say that I appreciate it I just saw this. You are probably the only person in the world that wanted it in PDF form. I thank you for requesting it and editing it.
mistaken
I put the list in Alphabetical order by Author, so I could better see what had been done. I have an idea I am going to run my script to pull some/most/all (how ever far i get) of the requested diaries then I am going to zip them up, and post the zip. if your a fan (or the author), you can go through and remove the extraneous post. (if your feeling sporting you can complete the whole process.) zip it up, and get it back to me (pm me if you need options). I will print the pages to pdf, and stitch the pdf's together. you the editor will get the credit for the hard work on the front page. Look at the bottom of the first post for raw files to begin appearing. UPDATE: Serveral Raw Files are up, look to do a couple more this weekend. tristram
http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15296 I believe this is the correct link for Tristam's The Death of WCW? thread...IMO, it's one of the finest efforts in the history of these forums if this thread is no longer being worked on, please just disregard. I haven't been on these forums for a very long time, or at least it seems, and then I saw this. I know its from a while ago as well, but I wanted to reply that I truly appreciate the acknowledgement. I truly had a lot of fun planning it out and bringing it to action, and loving the little opportunities TEW allowed for the plan to be thrown out the window and evolved into something even more awesome. Thanks Rob, really appreciate that this one was remembered and that it had an impact with some peeps.
Payne
I still like to read M-Pox's every now and then. Funny as hell.
James Casey
The link to Mark Cuban appears to be for the Henry Lee PDF. Of course, since UploadHero won't let me download it, it's hard to be sure
Dragonmack
I still like to read M-Pox's every now and then. Funny as hell. Yeah, hard to believe its been over 7 years since it came out, but even glancing through a little of it today had me breaking out in laughter. That level of humor has only been matched by J Silver in my experiences here.
