Bad publicity. Stale stories. Uncertain futures. No direction. This is our company. A company that was the company to work for when you wanted to get into professional wrestling. The money was there. The entertainment was there. The wrestling was there. Today, those in the back seem to be happy enough to get a paycheck, and with the additional bonus of possible television time. Passion to be the top guy has left. The championship? Just a prop. Until now. Triple H has been gaining more responsibilities each day within the company preparing his full and total control of the company. As he gains responsibilities, he continues to push his vision for the future and many are on board with his philosophy. http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff449/waitingsave/rr_zps8148eba7.jpg ROYAL RUMBLE 2013 The Royal Rumble seemed to bring back some excitement to the company with the feature match featuring The Rock against CM Punk. Backstage, the morale of the guys seemed to be in high spirits and all eyes were glued to what the main event would be. The entire card would feature a few bouts to get people on pay per view, with of course its yearly main attraction, the Royal Rumble match itself. Every year that match consists of surprise entrants and has fans guessing who will be going to Wrestlemania. Royal Rumble Quick Results Team Hell No defeated Rhodes Scholars to retain Tag Team Championship Alberto Del Rio defeated Big Show to retain the World Heavyweight Championship John Cena came out as entrant 29 with a large advantage to win the match, but was met with Randy Orton, Ryback, Chris Jericho, and Sheamus who were still in the match itself. No man had been eliminated by the countdown to the final entrant, who had shocked everyone, including the wrestlers in the ring. Brock Lesnar entered at number 30 and was declared the winner of the Royal Rumble by eliminating John Cena last. The Rock defeated CM Punk to become the NEW WWE Champion. http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff449/waitingsave/ddpbeg_zpsb867ded9.jpg DRUGS, INJURIES, AND DEVELOPMENT Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Vince McMahon have all had close contact with Diamond Dallas Page regarding what some wrestlers are saying about his DDPYOGA program. They've also kept close eye on the transformation of Jake "The Snake" Roberts and are glad DDP has begun to work with Scott Hall. With the positives coming out from his program and his willingness to help people, especially wrestlers, Triple H is hoping to start a deal where DDP would do classes each week with all the people in the company. DDP would also be helping those recover from injuries and battle demons. Most believe the deal is already set in stone and it's a matter of time when its announced. Triple H is also hoping to have three wrestling camps for specific purposes. One in Connecticut, and the other two in Florida. The one in Connecticut would be to view new talent, work on character development, mic skills, and would also be the place for superstars to go who are injured to work out the rust. One of the developments in Florida would be more hands-on training for people who want to become a wrestler. It will feature a full gym, 7 rings, tanning beds, and more. The other one on Florida will continue to be NXT, which will help develop ring psychology, having actual matches in front of people, etc. This will be filmed and taped at Full Sail University. CLEANING UP In the last few weeks, the company has been hard at work looking on developing new stars who are not there just to collect a paycheck. Triple H has been focused to see who wants to be a student at "the game" of wrestling and is willing to put forth a strong effort to help them. No names have been mentioned regarding official releases or hirings in the company, but some superstars have taken to twitter to unofficially announce it. Those men being Brock Lesnar and CM Punk. Also, because several attacks from the Shield continued on Cena, Ryback, and Sheamus.. a match was made which many believed to be a Superteam to defeat The Shield. Elimination Chamber Quick Results Kaitlyn defeated Tamina Snuka to retain the Divas Championship. As she celebrated, a familiar song hit the speakers, bringing out Michelle McCool holding the Womens Championship. Nobody knew why, but answers were sure to follow. Antonio Cesaro defeated The Miz to retain the United States Championship. The Miz was attended to by doctors following the match. Dolph Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston. Chris Jericho defeated Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Jack Swagger, and Mark Henry to become the Number One Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. The Shield defeated John Cena, Ryback, and Sheamus. Alberto Del Rio defeated Big Show to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. As Alberto Del Rio celebrated, Jack Swagger came out to attack Del Rio. Dolph Ziggler came out with his briefcase and cashed it in. Dolph Ziggler defeated Alberto Del Rio to become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion. He sees women's wrestling profitable and helps increase viewership among women, not to mention the help of the "Be-A-Star" campaign. The company is once again searching for models, or fitness gurus, who are interesting in being a part of the WWE family, aka Diva Search. Not only that, but Triple H is looking to have a development/scouting team for ladies in particular. This team would consist of: Fit Finlay, Dutch Mantell, Trish Stratus, Amy "Lita" Dumas, Nora "Molly Holly" Greenwald, and Lisa "Ivory" Moretti. The Divas Search should be starting at the beginning of March. Part of this change was seen at Elimination Chamber when Michelle McCool returned with the Women's Championship. No Smackdown Superstars were being featured or advertised on Raw, and vice versa for Raw Superstars on Smackdown. Of course, for special occasions one might appear to help ratings or the angle continue. http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff449/waitingsave/raw-1.jpg Raw Tidbits in February The Rock and Brock Lesnar The Road to Wrestlemania is becoming hyped among several circles outside the wrestling realm with the headline being The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. Paul Heyman continues to be a thorn in The Rock's side since he not only manages CM Punk, but his current challenger Brock Lesnar. The Rock went through his respect for Lensar and how they were friends, but Brock made sure Rock knew he had no friends. John Cena's Road to the WWE Title Delayed Since John Cena's lost at the Royal Rumble to Brock Lesnar and his loss in the three man tag at Elimination Chamber, he has become obsessed trying to make 2013 his year. He told everyone the best way to make an impact is to do something nobody can do... beat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. He issued the challenge, but without reply from The Deadman. CM Punk CM Punk promised not to be lost in the shuffle with Rock, Brock, Cena challenging Taker at Wrestlemania. Punk once again took on the corporation of WWE by telling everyone whats wrong with the company. This brought out the Chairman Vince McMahon to share his displeasure with CM Punk's attitude. Punk vowed to retire Vince early and that his friend, Brock, was just the beginning. Punk began attacking Vince. Stephanie came out and demanded Punk stop. Punk dropped a pipe bomb on Stephanie and the entire McMahon family. LayCool Returns and interrupts The Divas of WWE McCool wanted to make sure Kaitlyn knew the Divas title was nothing but a prop the pretty girls could hold to make them feel valuable, when the Womens Title is the real deal. This led to all divas coming out and a brawl sparked in the ring. Vickie came out and was about to say something, but was interrupted by Ric Flair who announced effective immediately, he was the new permanent Raw GM, Vickie could assist him, and Brad Maddox can take a hike. Ric made a ladies tournament to see who would be the Women's Champion. Tag Team, The Shield, and Chaos Team Hell No continued beating every team thrown at them, but was attacked by The Shield to put a stop to it. Bryan and Kane demanded a tag team match with The Shield, but were interrupted by Ryback, Randy Orton, and Sheamus who wanted the Shield. Flair decided to make a match between the three and see who will team up with Team Hell No against the Shield. The two would superstars would have an open debate on Smackdown to discuss issues Swagger and Colter are bringing up. Once Swagger made specific remarks, Del Rio began the attack on Swagger. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas came to the rescue of Jack Swagger. The following week, Del Rio was able to even the odds by having Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara by his side. Money In The Bank Antonio Cesaro came out with another title on his shoulder... the European Championship. Antontio declared to be both European and United States Champion. He declared since being the champion of Europe and the U.S, he decides to add Money In The Bank at Wrestlemania and that he will be the first man in it. The New Champ Dolph celebrated his new World Championship with AJ and Big-E. Chris Jericho interrupted and made sure Dolph new that his title reign would be done in a few weeks at Wrestlemania. Chris Jericho was able to talk Dolph into agreeing Big-E be banned from ringside which made it become a fair match.
