Northwest Wrestlling Alliance(RTG Dynasty) CAW sign-ups

I've been trying to find a good TEW game to play. I've been using the 1994 mood as of late and lately, I've been pretty bored with it. So I thought I would try to make a company with only characters we create and over time, I would try to sign other wrestlers as well.

If I started a dynasty, how many would you sign up for it?

I would be using the Road to Glory template on how each character would have to distribute their stats.

This is my first attempt at a diary and backstory so here goes.

Hi, my name is Michael and I have lived in Pasco, Washington my entire life. It is a dull place. There is not much to do unless you're into the bar scene and going bowling. That's all we have here. Nobody ever becomes famous. If you're born in the Pasco, you're going to die here. That's all the story always goes.

I'm only 18 years old but I have always known that is not an option for me. I don't want to stay here for the next 70 hours and whisk away into nothing. I want something more at life. If working 9-5 every day means that I'm a successful person in life, I don't want to be successful. I know there is something bigger out there for me.

I have always dreamt of becoming a professional wrestler but my city, my town is a waste land for professional wrestling. There has been nothing here. The closest training facilities are at least five hours away. I've always been a horrible driver but getting up there to Seattle is a pain in the ass. I'm also not the most athletic man to grace this Earth. I'm also not one of the biggest either.

I stand at only 5'7 and 175 pounds. People have said I was too small to achieve my goal. Maybe they're right, maybe they're not. I'm going to fight out by sitting back and watch time pass me by. I must do something about it.

Ever since I was born, my parents left me a small chunk of money each month. When I was younger, I would spend the dough on Ice Cream and candy bars. The last few years though, I have learned to save my money. I've saved just enough to buy a wrestling ring from highspots.com. The ring should be shipped to my house in the next couple of weeks and I am so excited.

I have a garage in my backyard where I can set the ring up. Now all I need are a couple of friends to train with me. Boy, this should be fun.

Character bio:

After getting expelled from several high schools in Manila, Philippines, young James (Jimmy) Santos was sent to California to live with relatives, but when that too didn't work out, he moved to Washington where he lived with a different set of relatives and graduated high school in the Pasco area. It was there where he met future Northwest Wrestling Alliance founder Michael Sensation, and given Santos' MMA training (as a means to get his head straightened out), the Filipino teen was considered as one of the "charter" members of the backyard federation. At this point, Santos' mic skills leave a lot to be desired, he lacks size (5'11"-200) and he doesn't have much skills apart from his Buddy Garner-esque submissions, but he has that "it" factor that could make him a future star in this business.

Santos will be wrestling under the name Epic Joe Nobody, an arrogant geek who frequently quotes Star Wars, the Simpsons and Big Bang Theory in his promos. Supposedly, the masked Epic Joe Nobody is an extension of Santos' real-life persona - despite his rebellious exterior, he claims to be a geek deep inside, and was known in his high school as a purveyor of obscure pop culture trivia. That is, when he wasn't sticking it to the meatheads in the football team and smoking in the boys' room...

The ring was finally shipped to my house and I almost couldn't

contain myself. With help from my dad, I was finally able to get the package into the backyard. I opened it and immediately, I was lost. I had never set up a wrestling ring before and I knew I wasn't going to be able to do it by myself. First, I asked my dad to help but he was too busy. I'm not sure what he was doing but if he's busy or even just says he's busy, there's no way to convince him to help out.

I didn't have many friends that wanted to be a professional wrestler or even watched wrestling. Most of them are into World of Warcraft and a lot of those MMORPG games. I've played them every once and a while but I never got hooked into those games. Thank god!

But without help from my dad or any of my friends, I didn't really have any idea how I was going to set up the wrestling ring. I thought to myself for a few minutes before I decided I'm going to set up flyers through out the city and hope that at least a few people show up to my house telling me that they've always dreamt of becoming a professional wrestler. I've never met anybody that has thought that but hey, I'll take a chance, right?

So it didn't take me too long to make the flyers and with help from my mom, who gave me a ride through the city, I was able to put up many fliers and I came back home hoping somebody would eventually show up.

As I sat in my room day dreaming about being a professional wrestler and flying through the air in my own personal wrestling ring, I couldn't help but grow impatient. I began to pace back and forth in my room when I heard a knock at my door. My mom calmly walked in.

"You have a visitor waiting at the door" She said.

I thought to myself, I don't normally have friends over at my house. I immediately got excited and ran downstairs as fast as I could that I almost fell flat on my face. I regained my balance and there an average build, not very muscular guy standing in the doorway.

"Hi, my name is Jimmy Santos."

I didn't say a word.

"I saw your flier at the corner of the street where I live. I've watched wrestling my entire life. I've recently moved here to Pasco within the past few months. I just graduated from Pasco High and I didn't get signed up for college. My relatives were very dissappointed. They told me to get a day job while I lived with them. Hey, this could be a day job, right?

I finally said something. "I was expecting somebody more muscular than you. I'm supposed to be the young buck of this company.

"You're afraid of some competition?"

"No, not all!" I said. "We'll get to that later. We need to set up the wrestling ring. You have any idea on how to do that?

"I've never done it. But hey, let's read the instructions and it shouldn't be too hard."

So with that, we made our way to the back yard to set up the wrestling ring. My first employee has come, hopefully more will follow. I don't know how many people want to see Michael Kairuz vs Jimmy Santos in the very first Northwest Wrestling Alliance event.

That will put a lot of butts in our seats!!!

The story continues as Jimmy Santos and Michael Kairuz are still working hard to putting up the wrestling ring in Michael’s garage. They are finally at end of setting up the ring. They’ve tightened the last turnbuckle and everything seems good to go. Michael slides into the ring and immediately takes a quick back bump and then pops up back to his feet. He welcomes Santos into the ring.

“Are you sure you want to?” Santos says.

Michael doesn’t say a word. Instead, he holds the ropes open for Santos and he climbs into the ring. Santos smiles and then drops down and takes a very good looking back bump and gets back to his feet.

“Not bad, not bad.” Says Kairuz. “But look at this.”

Kairuz bounces off the ropes, leaps into the air and comes crashing down onto his feet. It was like artwork as Michael is back up to his feet. This goes on for about another thirty minutes. Both men try to one up each other doing back bumps, running the ropes, etc. Kairuz and Santos then begin practicing headlocks,, the takedowns and the eventual reversals of said move. Both are getting really into it and as both roll up to their feet, Santos immediately unloads with a huge knife edge chop that turns Kairuz’ head bright red. Kairuz looks pissed and returns the favor that sends Santos towards the corner. They trade knife edge chops for a few minutes until a loud thud is heard from the other side of the ring. Both men look over their shoulder and there stands a 7’4 giant of a man who just stares a hold through both individuals.

“Is this where the professional wrestling company is located” comes a very booming voice from the large individual.

“You, my friend, are in the right place." says Kairuz

“This doesn’t look like a wrestling company. This looks like two little kids, who I could eat for lunch, having fun beating the hell out of each for no reason.”

By this time, the large man has stepped into the ring and he towers over the his rather small counterparts.

“This is where it begins. Trust me.” Says Kairuz.

The large man just rolls his eyes.

“By the way, what is your name?” Kairuz says.

“Reus Hongerig Duivel, I recently moved here to the Tri-Cities. The lack of wrestling in this area is very depressing.

“You’re telling me” Kairuz says with a sad voice. “But I’m here to change it.”

“We need more than three of us to start anything” says Duivel.

“I’m expecting a lot more to come walking through those doors. I want twelve to be able to hold my first show right here in The Garage.”

“The Garage?” Is that your cool name for the venue?”

“Yeah? Isn’t it catchy?”

“No, not really.”

“Do you have anything better?”

“How about the Fight Factory” says Duivel.

“That sounds ridiculous.” Says a bored looking Jimmy Santos who is hanging over near the turnbuckle.

“Pipe down, nobody asked you.” Says Duivel.

Santos doesn’t take it lying down. He walks over towards Duivel and has to look directly upwards to stare the huge man into the eyes.

“Michael, book it now. Epic Joe Nobody vs Reuis Hongerig Duivel for the very first event.” Says Santos.

“Hahahaha, that should be the most epic squash match in the history of

professional wrestling.” Says a smirking Duivel.

“I’m booking it now” says Kairuz “Maybe I’ll put that as the first main event

of the show. We’ll have to see. That leaves me off the card for now. Let’s hope we can get some more to join this company.

NAME: Reaper (De'Anthony King)

De'Anthony King is somewhat of an enygma. A three-sport varsity starter (football in fall, soccer in winter, basketball in spring) for all three years of his high school career so far, he sat next to Michael Kairuz in honors English during this past school year. De'Anthony, who wants to play in the NFL and then write fantasy novels, is only interested in wrestling as a way to stay in shape and keep his dad off his back during the summer. He doesn't want anyone to know that he's risking his future career by wrestling, so he bought a grim reaper costume at the local party store and will wrestle in a skull mask.
