<p>First off - Well.. I just wrote a segment over in my dynasty where Dread knocks someone out with one punch and was about to post it... So dang Dread and his one punch knock outs...</p><p> </p><p>

Second off - That Lucha segment? That was frickin' gold. Like... Might've been one of the best angles in this entire dynasty, and there's been great ones.</p><p> </p><p>

Man, you should totally go with it. Let's make Dread's one punch power a thing.

Also, thanks. I'm seeing reactions to a lot of different promo styles from different readers, so I figure I've got to be doing something right.

The wooden floorboards of Charlie Homicide's home have become a familiar sight to HollyWeird fans over the past few months. The camera dwells on them, now, on the concentric ringed stains of repeated rainwater puddles in the portion of his room that is open to the elements. From between two of the boards is – yes! A thin vertical shaft of green; a sign of new life.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://s293.photobucket.com/user/trenchcoatbrigand/media/Everybody%20Knows/HGC%20Guys/Dread_alt1_zps62531a06.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/Everybody%20Knows/HGC%20Guys/Dread_alt1_zps62531a06.jpg</span></a></div><p></p><p></p><p>

A shadow falls over it, and the camera pans up as Dread takes a step forward, his huge frame barely fitting through the shattered remains of the door.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<a href="http://s293.photobucket.com/user/trenchcoatbrigand/media/Everybody%20Knows/HGC%20Guys/CharlieHomicide_zps8a26f2a6.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/Everybody%20Knows/HGC%20Guys/CharlieHomicide_zps8a26f2a6.jpg</span></a></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

“Don't they pay ya?” he asks, his voice the sound of stone on stone. A strange laughter is the response, and the camera pans around to show Charlie Homicide, looking back at him. “My money is spoken for,” he says quietly. “Every cent.”</p><p> </p><p>

“For what?” Dread's impassive face shifts slightly, betraying a little – but only a little – curiosity from the shadow of fear.</p><p> </p><p>

“I donate much of it,” Homicide replies. “The world needs men – you know this, of course. A man if ever I saw one, even if I don't know where you've hidden the bodies.”</p><p> </p><p>

Dread frowns.</p><p> </p><p>

“So you donate.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Exactly... to those who need it, or to those who will be what candidates need. A hundred, here, and the walk home from the airport bus route becomes, for... oh, let us say the man Hype... suddenly much more difficult. Mean streets provoke decisions, o shadow. Mean streets make men.</p><p> </p><p>

“And it is the duty of men such as we to make mean streets, so that all may be well. So that all manner-”</p><p> </p><p>

“Whatever,” Dread says, cutting him off abruptly. “You're messed up, Homicide. And you're dangerous.”</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://s293.photobucket.com/user/trenchcoatbrigand/media/Everybody%20Knows/HGC%20Guys/KarenKiller_alt_zpsda0c9369.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/Everybody%20Knows/HGC%20Guys/KarenKiller_alt_zpsda0c9369.jpg</span></a></div><p></p><p></p><p>

“I am dangerous, certainly,” Homicide agrees. Karen Killer smiles, reaching down then up to offer him a piece of kielbasa. For all that his home is almost derelict, Charlie Homicide enjoys quality sausage.</p><p> </p><p>

“I want that danger on my side,” Dread says. “You, me, the Demons. We'll mess up four days. You in?”</p><p> </p><p>

Charlie Homicide smiles broadly. “All manner of things,” he says, “shall be well indeed.</p><p> </p><p>

“Let us be men of deeds, not of words.”</p><p> </p><p>

Apparently satisfied with the answer, the disconcerted Dread retreats. The camera pans back down, revealing the green shoot to have been trampled by the shadow of fear.</p><p> </p><p>

Richie Pangrazzio Jr w/ Coach Dick Pangrazzio vs. The Insane Heat</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

They're not his bread and butter, but Richie P is getting pretty good at fighting in hardcore matches. He's willing to wield weapons, though it has yet to be his focus. </p><p> </p><p>

His concentration – here as before – is on blocking attacks, dishing out pain, and slowly wearing down an opponent's shoulder, before applying a scissored armbar with a crossface variant locked in via the free hand. The Heat, eventually, with humiliation burned across his face, taps out.</p><p>

The Next Generation vs. Savage Fury</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Some brawling, some matwork, even a little bit of flying here; the Next Generation are not in the mood to lose, and Savage Fury have power and experience on their side. Between the two sides, this one goes back and forth a good six or seven times before, perched on the top turnbuckle, Tribal Warrior's intended superplex is half-countered by Bryan Holmes.</p><p> </p><p>

Both men spill to the outside, and neither man stirs as the ten count progresses. Java moves to help his ally back into the ring, to break the count, and Brent Hill comes off the apron with a missile dropkick. The two are brawling as the ten count elapses, and at least one of the Next Generation's earliest matches is not a loss.</p><p>

April vs. Ashley Amazon w/ Dream Girl</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

April shows some good promise here, mat-wrestling well, but Ashley has power to spare and, as with many of the Runway Train's matches so far, the outcome is a foregone conclusion – although more people are staying to see what these dancers can do in the ring. A spear from the Amazon ends this one.</p><p>

Blazing Flames vs. Tag Team Specialists</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Rhodes and Azaria spend the early part of this match debating the meaning of the fact that the Untouchables demanded this match, and why. As the Specialists isolate each brother in turn, Rhodes brings up questions of which team really has greater unity right now – and Oxford exploits the Flames' worries, sending Joey crashing into Teddy with a half-hidden hammerlock'n'shove.</p><p> </p><p>

As Joey tries to recover, Oxford spikes him with a DDT and dumps him outside, pulling Teddy in for Bryant to hit the One Shot Drop on. “The Tag Team Specialists have shown this month that nobody has the Blazing Flames' number like they do,” Kyle Rhodes declaims. “Give it up, Flames!”</p><p>

Rip Chord heads sedately to the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

“Everyone you see here tonight,” he begins, “is a weapon. That's what a wrestler has to be. What I'm dealing with is the fact that most of these people care only for the weapon. It's no good making sure the guns are high calibre if you give no thought to the aim. If you don't remember when you've gotta pull the trigger. And-”</p><p> </p><p>

And then he breaks off as Liberty steps out behind them.</p><p> </p><p>

“Looks like, you know, someone didn't think I was serious,” he says.</p><p> </p><p>

“Kid, I didn't think you'd remember from one day to the next.”</p><p> </p><p>

Liberty grins, pushing his shades down to regard Chord over them. “I get that a lot. It's never on the money.</p><p> </p><p>

As we come back from commercial, Azaria quickly throws it backstage, where confused camerawork sees Ramon Paez take a series of punches from two men before being picked up and suplexed into a large, wheeled black box – one of the many in which HGC's camera equipment is ferried from venued to venue.</p><p> </p><p>

Romeo Heartthrob and Rocky Constantino then shove the box along the corridor, picking up speed in a mad charge until it flies through a pair of fire doors and out into the open, falling out of sight – at which point, there's an audible splash.</p><p> </p><p>

Did they just dump a man in a river...?</p><p> </p><p>

Heartthrob immediately turns around and starts heading in a different direction, Constantino calling encouragement as the former Cruiserweight Champion walks with purpose.</p><p> </p><p>

Black Cobra vs. Electrico vs. Fumihiro Ota vs. Romeo Heartthrob</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

It is, therefore, surprising only to people who are in the arena (including an audibly thrown ring announcer) when it's Heartthrob who comes out as the fourth entrant.</p><p> </p><p>

He spends most of the match out of the ring, allowing the others to put on a bravura display of cruiserweight styles in fusion. Electrico dominates, shutting down much of Ota's trickery, only to be suddenly laid out with a German suplex from Black Cobra – who then gets nailed by Romeo.</p><p> </p><p>

The Heartthrob then makes a point of hitting a piledriver on the luchador Electrico before locking in the Cupid's Clutch – and ensuring himself another rematch for the Cruiserweight Championship.</p><p>

With the arena lights out and <em>The Beautiful People</em> playing, it's no surprise to see the staccato illumination of the Powers of Hell marching to the ring. The lights come up with Nemesis holding a microphone, smiling grimly.</p><p> </p><p>

“On the seventh day, God rested,” he says. “This was a sign – a sign of His weakness.</p><p> </p><p>

Arsenal and Heroic do put up what fight they can, but the shadow of fear is large over both men, and the man who casts it shows why, easily beating both men and at one point reversing their attempt to suplex him as a team, sending both men flying over his head simultaneously.</p><p> </p><p>

He stacks them together before pinning – without, as Rhodes notes, bothering with his biggest moves.</p><p>

Frankie Future's arrival was almost unheralded, his first match interrupted by Saonji Omura's assault on Richie Pangrazzio – but here he shows why he's become a household name in the indies.</p><p> </p><p>

Dale has a hard time getting one by the experienced brawler – a man who seems willing to stretch the rules to breaking point, maybe even beyond – but in the end, the Cowboy comes off the ropes with a huge lariat that brings Frankie down, allowing Dale to secure the pin.</p><p>

Charlie Homicide & Rip Chord w/ Karen Killer vs. Liberty & Whistler</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Startlingly fast work in this contest; even Rip Chord keeps up, and Whistler is a whirl of high-impact energy, obviously sensing a chance to make an impression on the fans. Chord doesn't seem interested in staying in the ring with Liberty; judging by the smirk on his face, it's not so much about avoiding the young Texan as it is watching Charlie Homicide inflict pain, not caring about the abuse he takes in turn.</p><p> </p><p>

Charlie nearly falls to Liberty, but Killer catches Liberty's eye just before the pin. He hesitates – and Homicide is suddenly right on him! Punches rain down, then Liberty is sent crashing into the steel turnbuckle.</p><p> </p><p>

Whistler makes the save, sending Homicide out of the ring with a picture-perfect Rebel Yell – but Rip Chord is already back in the ring, shifting position, waiting for Whistler to turn around – and the Rip Chord DDT ends it in nothing flat.</p><p>

“That... is entirely not how Dread operates,” Rhodes declares, and Azaria agrees. “Who on earth did this?”</p><p> </p><p>

Come with us, faithful wrestling fan, <strong>Where Angels Fear To Tread</strong>! And it's no wonder, either, with everything that's been going on. Blood will be shed, friendships may end, rivalries may be settled and as some of you will surely want to hear, you'll see a lot of bared skin.</p><p> </p><p>

So what have we got for you?</p><p> </p><p>

The <strong>HGC Cruiserweight Championship</strong> will be contested, and after <strong>Romeo Heartthrob</strong> cheated his way into the contendership match, <strong>Mr Lucha </strong>will no doubt be at the very limit of his temper. Can Heartthrob win his way back to the title or will Lucha earn respect?</p><p> </p><p>

In six-man competition, <strong>Jason Jackson and the One Percenters</strong> are pitted against the <strong>Untouchables</strong>. Expect this to be dangerous; pray for it to be decisive.</p><p> </p><p>

HollyWeird promises its viewers a real treat next. Introducing the <strong>Lingerie Lottery </strong>match, in which our HollyWeird Girls will don costumes decided by the roulette wheel before doing battle. In this case it's <strong>Ashley Amazon</strong> against <strong>Victoria</strong>. The first HWG match on PPV - will Amazon's undefeated streak continue?</p><p> </p><p>

Intense hatred is sure to be on the agenda next. <strong>Peter Valentine</strong> flatly refuses to accept the accolades <strong>Cowboy Ricky Dale</strong> has earned, and Dale wants to turn things back on him - but can he do it?</p><p> </p><p>

And next it gets truly violent. While the Hardcore Champion is otherwise occupied, this PPV will still see a <strong>Hardcore Match</strong> - this one featuring <strong>Richie Pangrazzio Jr</strong>, <strong>The Hype</strong>, and the unholy trio that are <strong>Genghis Rahn</strong>, <strong>Saonji Omura</strong> and <strong>The Insane Heat</strong>!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Monty Walker</strong>, devoid of a championship opponent at this point, has issued an <strong>open challenge</strong>. Will the <strong>International Championship</strong> vanish from around his waist?</p><p> </p><p>

And in <strong>Tag Team Championship</strong> competition, reigning champions <strong>The Vessey Brothers</strong> will finally defend again against the <strong>Powers of Hell</strong>. There's no shortage of courage or talent on either side, so who's going to come out with the belts at the other end?</p><p> </p><p>

And in the main event, <strong>Team Strong</strong> faces <strong>Team Dread</strong> in <strong>four-on-four elimination</strong> rules. The biggest bullies in wrestling face off with experienced veterans!</p><p> </p><p>

Prediction Key:</p><p>

<strong>Mr Lucha ©</strong> vs. Romeo Heartthrob w/ Rocky Constantino</p><p>

<em>Romeo isn´t getting the Cruiserweight title back.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Jason Jackson & the One Percenters (Mayhem Midden & the Night Rider) w/ Lady Melissa vs. <strong>the Untouchables (Joel Bryant, Paul Steadyfast & Robert Oxford)</strong></p><p>

<em>Untouchables have been doing pretty well recently so might as well continue that here</em></p><p> </p><p>

LINGERIE LOTTERY MATCH</p><p>

<strong>Ashley Amazon w/ Dream Girl</strong> vs. Victoria</p><p>

<em>Lingerie lotte... what? I guess I´m starting to see what Cherry Bomb meant when she said that it was a suprise there wasn´t any panties on a pole matches booked. </em><img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><em> Anyway, Amazon is pretty much the only one who have booked to win so far so guess that continues here too.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cowboy Ricky Dale</strong> vs. Peter Valentine w/ Charlie Thatcher</p><p>

<em>I just don´t see Valentine going over, I know it´s possible if you want to include backstage politics since Valentine likely would have enough allies (ok so only Strong but that´s enoug) to get himself a win over Ricky Dale but I still can´t pick him over RDJ.</em></p><p> </p><p>

HARDCORE MATCH</p><p>

Genghis Rahn vs. The Hype w/ Lady Melissa vs. The Insane Heat vs. <strong>Richie Pangrazzio Jr w/ Coach Dick Pangrazzio</strong> vs. Saonji Omura</p><p>

<em>Richie seems to be the one who is highest on the pecking order.</em></p><p> </p><p>

HGC International Championship</p><p>

<strong>Monty Walker ©</strong> vs. ????</p><p>

<em>Mystery men are always tough to pick against but I go with Monty regardless.</em></p><p> </p><p>

HGC Tag Team Championship</p><p>

The Vessey Brothers © (Bryan & Larry Vessey) w/ Coach Dick Pangrazzio vs. <strong>Powers of Hell (BLZ Bubb & Nemesis)</strong></p><p>

<em>Could see this one going either way but with Nemesis booking the tag division I would think he has to be slight favorite.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Mr Lucha © vs. Romeo Heartthrob w/ Rocky Constantino</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Slick technical wrestling is at the core of this one. Lucha occasionally takes to the air; Heartthrob occasionally pushes the rules. Mostly, though, this competition reveals itself in the ring; they may talk about cheating, they may talk about culture clash, they may talk – at length – about oiled-up women wearing very little. But when the bell rings, both men want to outdo one another.</p><p> </p><p>

Heartthrob ultimately gives Rocky a signal; Constantino immediately distracts ref Ryan Holland, and Heartthrob steps forward - </p><p> </p><p>

Lucha clearly had him scouted! A jawbreaker then a piledriver – illegal, as Azaria reminds us, in Mexico – finish this one.</p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Mr Lucha defeated Romeo Heartthrob</span></p><p>

the Untouchables</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

This match could be described almost as being built around the spinebuster. By the end of this match all six men have delivered at least one, but the crowning glory was a sequence of five delivered in one-upsmanship that was only ended when Jason Jackson instead caught Paul Steadyfast off guard with a DDT.</p><p> </p><p>

It looks as if Lady Melissa's men have helped give New School the advantage – but the Untouchables rise to the occasion and rally, with Paul Steadyfast baiting the Night Rider in so that Bryant and Oxford can blindside him. After that things start looking a little inevitable, and Joel lands the One Shot Drop to pin the Rider while his allies prevent any interruption.</p><p>

“That's enough, boys,” comes a woman's voice, and the men hold off. Marilyn Stardust – vaguely recognisable to the common fan from the last time the SWF tried to have a womens' division – saunters in, ruffling the bigger man's hair. “Good work,” she says, and the smaller man preens. “I'm proud of you both.” She looks back over her shoulder. “Mr. Chord, do you have anything to say?”</p><p> </p><p>

Ashley Amazon w/ Dream Girl vs. Victoria</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

The entrances are delayed slightly as a clip is played from the pre-show; J.K. Stallings spinning the wheel which determined the two combatants would wear naughty nurse outfits. Dream Girl has gotten in on the act too, it seems, albeit as a red bikini with a white cross motif.</p><p> </p><p>

Victoria makes a point of ignoring the outfit, which it has to be said is to the benefit of many male fans; Azaria and Rhodes, however, play up her focus on the match, her indifference to the costume. The Runway Train dominates, but the heart of Stone, as Azaria has started referring to her, keeps kicking out – and eventually rolls clear of a powerbomb hoist, then double-legs her down and turns her over into a Boston Crab. After a short, writhing struggle, the Amazon taps – giving Victoria a major win on PPV!</p><p>

Cowboy Ricky Dale vs. Peter Valentine w/ Charlie Thatcher</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

And the fans are hyped up, then, the moment Cowboy Ricky heads down to the ring. He walks with a purpose, as Azaria says every time we see him approach a match. Valentine's swagger is held up as a real contrast; Charlie Thatcher, meanwhile, seems utterly indifferent, not even paying attention to the early going of the match.</p><p> </p><p>

He wakes up, though, when Valentine gets clotheslined over the top rope and out of the ring, getting between Dale and his client while Peter recovers. Sam Sparrow warns Thatcher off, during which time Valentine introduces Dale's head to the ringpost, then hits a Heart Punch on the outside. Somehow, the Cowboy makes it back into the ring despite that impact, and even rallies again, leading to Thatcher connecting with a big boot while Sparrow checks on a 'fallen' Valentine – who scrambles to make the pin with a handful of tights once Dale is down.</p><p>

vs. Saionji Omura vs. The Insane Heat</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Three of these men spend the match targeting the other two indiscriminately, leading to something a lot more like a war for survival than a wrestling match. The Hype and Pangrazzio are forced to, somewhat, team up for a while, and the Hype's one-arm German suplex gets a very positive reaction from some of the crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

The Heat also really grabs attention, running wild with a coil of barbed wire around a forearm. Eventually, with the Hype having taken Omura down with a big shiranui, Pangrazzio seizes an opportunity, slamming Rahn's chair back down on his head. He yells to get the Hype's attention, whips the Heat toward him, and the youngster drops down, sending the big hardcore maven over the top rope and out.</p><p> </p><p>

Richie promptly levels the Hype with a punch and pins him, finishing the match – and allowing them both to escape.</p><p>

The violence escalates, and the two veterans of the hardcore end of the East Coast War seem to forget where they are; Azaria is busy stressing each man's credentials in that area when the two come out of a fluid sequence into a standoff, hesitate, then low blow one another. Team Strong</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Demon Anger is, perhaps surprisingly, the man Dread sends into the ring first; his target becomes Dusty Streets, who shoots a suspicious look at Sam on this selection but goes nonetheless. They lock up, and Anger shows he has the power, muscling Dusty into the corner from which the youngest of the Streets manages to evade only after taking a couple of punches; he grabs a waistlock and suplexes Anger down.</p><p> </p><p>

Dusty then immediately tags out, with Teddy Flame being the closest man to him. Teddy looks at Anger for a long moment, then steps into the ring, in which area the pair circle, watching each other. Anger calls for a test of strength, raising one hand into the air; Teddy laughs, shaking his head. He fakes for a kick and the Demon gives back a step, realises it was a fake, and then plunges forward for a lariat – only to be caught with the real kick. Anger takes a haymaker swing and Teddy ducks under it, bouncing forward on the balls of his feet, close to his own side.</p><p> </p><p>

The Demon wheels, starting forward and, with a smile, Teddy holds up a single hand, palm open, in the classic Stop sign. Anger hesitates, the expression on his face clearly searching for a trick of some kind - </p><p> </p><p>

Teddy Flame superkicks his brother off the apron!</p><p> </p><p>

The audience is agog with disapproval as Teddy flips off first Joey, then Sam, then – as he climbs out of the ring – Demon Anger, too.</p><p> </p><p>

He walks backstage. Snatching the microphone with glee, Karen Killer declares “Ladies and gentlemen, looks a whole hell of a lot like <strong>Teddy Flame just eliminated himself!</strong>”</p><p> </p><p>

Sam and Dusty stare at each other for a long moment; eventually, rather than enter the ring, Dusty drops off the apron and rolls Joey in instead.</p><p> </p><p>

Anger, all grins, pulls in Spite and the pair go for the Double Demon Down – and Azaria will later remark that it must be something about being hurled up in the air that wakes Joey Flame up; at the apex of the throw he starts moving, and Anger gets spiked on his head by a graceful huracanrana. Joey ducks a lariat from Spite, who clocks Dusty Streets off the apron but gets too close to Sam Strong in so doing, eating a massive punch.</p><p> </p><p>

Joey reacts fast; he trips Spite, sending him crashing onto his partner, scrambles to the top turnbuckle and immediately comes off with a moonsault. He shoves Spite off Anger and pins him while Dusty Streets and Sam Strong exchange sharp words on the apron, but nonetheless <strong>Demon Anger has been eliminated</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>

Joey sees Spite tag out to Charlie Homicide and dives for a tag, connecting with Dusty before he connects with Sam. Glowering, Dusty gets in the ring and immediately tags Sam.</p><p> </p><p>

Homicide, all smiles, beckons Strong into the ring. Slowly, the ultimate hero obliges. He takes a moment to play to the crowd, who respond with strong cheers, and makes the sign for his traditional opening big punch – and Homicide drives a boot into his midsection! Elbow to the back of the head! Strong returns the favour with a punch and Homicide, laughing, tags out. Inset shots will show him rubbing blood from his lips and continuing to laugh as Demon Spite comes in.</p><p> </p><p>

Strong and Spite exchange punches, kicks, but Spite gouges Sam's eye and immediately capitalises with a Demon Slam. Before he can pin, though, Joey Flame flies in with a corkscrew uppercut from the top rope, buying Strong time to get back up. Sam looks to assist a Joey who's been backed into the heel corner only to eat a huge punch from Dread, and all hell breaks down, with the remaining six men all getting involved – and, although Sam Sparrow doesn't catch it, Karen Killer even intervenes, hitting Strong with a low blow to allow Homicide to bull-rush him on the outside with the title belt.</p><p> </p><p>

By the time order is restored it's Spite and Joey Flame in the ring, and Spite has bloodied Flame. He beats him down for a while, literally whipping him repeatedly from corner to corner and following up with a splash, and ultimately he goes for a biel toss - </p><p> </p><p>

Again, Joey Flame seems to wake up in the air. He lands on his feet and immediately superkicks Spite, then hits the Flame On and rolls into the pin.</p><p> </p><p>

Rhodes brings up the expressions on the faces of Dread and Homicide as they simply watch, neither man willing to expend the effort involved in breaking the pin, and <strong>Demon Spite is eliminated</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>

Dread moves to enter the ring, only for Charlie Homicide, not even looking at him, to reach out and block him, an arm across his chest. The shadow of fear studies the devil's only saint for a moment, calculating, and then allows the insult, welcoming Homicide into the ring with a cultured open hand. Joey, exhausted, reaches back for a tag; with neither of his allies reaching out, his flailing hand first catches Dusty Streets.</p><p> </p><p>

Streets enters the ring and he and Homicide circle for a while, watching each other, gauging. The devil's only saint offers that crooked smile. Streets tags in Strong.</p><p> </p><p>

Sam shrugs, climbing through the ropes, looking to face Homicide again. Charlie beckons him across.</p><p> </p><p>

Strong never makes it; Dusty Streets grabs him and hits the Dust-Off. As the crowd watch – as Homicide folds his arms and watches – Dusty pulls Strong up and sets for another – only for Sam to block him. “The heart of the ultimate hero still beats!” Azaria screams. Punches drive Dusty across the ring, then Sam whips him to the ropes – and meets him with the Strong Arm Tactic. He drops to a pin.</p><p> </p><p>

Sam Sparrow hestitates before making the count when a team captain covers one of his own team, but he does it, and officially <strong>Dusty Streets has been eliminated</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>

Homicide takes over, catching Strong from behind with a lariat to the back of the head, accentuating the effects of the Dust-Off. He stomps Strong into the mat, causing the ultimate hero to start to bleed, and Charlie Homicide pulls him up and hits a snap suplex. He makes the cover, then immediately darts away from it.</p><p> </p><p>

Lucky for Sam Strong, Joey Flame is able to convert his elbow drop to land on his feet. He rolls his bleeding captain to safety, catches Homicide's big boot, and hits a dragon screw before elbow dropping the devil's only saint. He climbs to the top rope – comes off with the feared Flame moonsault – and Homicide isn't there. He's laughing as Joey picks himself up, then elbows Strong off the apron and charges forward, knocking Joey down and immediately making the pin. <strong>Joey Flame has been eliminated</strong>.</p><p> </p><p>

Back comes Strong, and he and Homicide stare down. Charlie Homicide slowly starts to giggle, and even the ultimate hero looks unsure, as he closes in, about this.</p><p> </p><p>

They brawl, long and hard, and it takes a long time before Strong manages to block an attack – though naturally, after that happens, we find again that the heart of the ultimate hero still beats. Homicide evades the first Strong Arm Tactic but falls to the second. <strong>Charlie Homicide has been eliminated.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Finally, for the first time, the unhurt, unbloodied, unstrained shadow of fear enters the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

The fight is as explosive as any they've had before. It lasts another ten minutes. But Strong was already hurt. He was barely cleared to compete tonight. And he's had to fight Demons, Charlie Homicide, even his own team. And Dread... Dread is fresh. It counts for something; in the end, it counts for countering an attempted superplex, sending Strong crashing to the mat, before hitting the Dreadsault... and getting the three.</p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Team Dread defeated Team Strong</span></p><p>

Dread, sneering, just leaves – but as Sam Strong, finally exhausted, lies in the centre of the ring, two figures join him, both carrying chairs. Dusty Streets is, perhaps inexplicably, joined by Giant Redwood. They walk with a purpose, Redwood getting a lazy salute from the exiting shadow of fear, but before they can reach Sam Strong, the referees are out in force.</p><p> </p><p>

“Is that the answer to who left Sam Strong lying?” Jason Azaria asks, just before signing off the air.</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Can't wait to see Eddie debut the Stardust of Starfection.<span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> I'm clever <_<</span></p><p> </p><p>

I know, I now, he's a booker and this is old and so on, but dang do I want Peter Valentine out of there. He just seems...well, him and Romeo Heartthrob will obviously form a tag team later, so that might give me a reason to care about him.</p><p> </p><p>

Wait...is Eddie or Doug even old enough to be in this data, or were those actually their dad and uncle? It's almost like I could easily found out this information, but instead, I'll never look it up.</p>
