The world we Know is WWF/E bought out ECW & WCW. The wrestling world was forever changed when the Monday Night Wars (MNW) ended. Eric Bischoff had finical backing and a deal in place to get the fallen Company, but with the new direction Time Warner were going in, they decided it wasn’t in there interest to have wrestling on their network. WcW was worthless without TV deal in place and was bought out by the WWF/E. ECW was in bad shape also, declaring bankruptcy and Mr. McMahan was there pick up the pieces and WWF/E was the only “Big time wrestling promotion” in the United States.

In an alternate timeline, The WWF were in a court battle over the letters WWF. They won the battle but only after a great deal of court cost, leaving them in a worst shape money wise but still in position to be the top promotion. Eric Bischoff Still didn’t have a TV deal but he bought WcW after finding new Investors, without a deal in place, Bischoff knew it was going to be hard to gain any support. Paul Haymen ECW Didn’t go out of bussniess also as he got lucky in the lottery, Winning 10 million and was able to pay off this debt. Which in turn left him to promote ECW With the remaining 5 million. Will WWF/E win the war? They sure won the Battle. Can WcW get back on their feet? Will WCW & ECW be able to get tv & ppv deals? WCW Journal Day 1 Monday, May 2001

Today was the beginning of new WCW and it was a busy one, as of today I am the new owner of WCW. I had an short meeting with ‘Mean’ Gene Okerlund around 8 A.M. To start the day, We had to determine his role in the new WCW. The meeting lasted about thirty minutes with the final Conclusion is to keep Gene on air as an interviewer.

The next step would be no easy task has we had to get a <a title="Click to Continue > by Browse to Save" href="<a href="http://simulationsports.net/" rel="external nofollow">http://simulationsports.net/"><span</a> style="color: #ffffff;">TV</a> deal. The idea was simple, get tv deal. The bigger we will get, right? I contacted many TV networks to see if we couldn’t get in talks about a new weekly show. I knew right away we wouldn’t be able to get prime time since we just got booted from tv, but never the less I had to request to get something going.

The Networks I requested negation from TNN (Who hosted Monday night raw, how weird would that be?) The network Liked wrestling, sporting ECW before they drop them for WWF programming. I though it would be interesting if they would want another weekly wrestling show for their programming.

The F/X wrestling has a nice tune to it doesn’t? n I have no idea, if they ever had wrestling on their network. I figure the size of their network couldn’t be to bad and would expand not only their business but WCW as well. I believe with this station behind us we can get the exposure that we had with nitro and Thunder. I was thinking if we could work out a new deal we could bring back one of these shows, or maybe make a new and stop living in the past. Soon Nitro will be up and running again against WWF programming but right now I need stop living in the past and focus on the future.

The final network on our list was Bravo tv. Decent size with some of Canada getting the weekly show would be great and hopefully get us on the right track. Not much I can say about Bravo TV as I never really heard of their network. Most of these stations I never worked with as I always had a TV deal and network backing me up. This would be a good thing for both sides I think.

I did make some contact with the Head Bangers, we decided to meet later that night for dinner, we began talking about possible come back, but with WCW instead with WWF. Tonight of course wouldn’t be any contract signing just gauge their interested in signing a deal with us.

Another wrestler who worked for us in the past also got a contract offer from us. His name is Warrior better know as Ultimate Warrior. He could be one of our main attractions if you ask me, but on another thought is bring in aging superstar the answer? It could be, you gotta have the right mix of young and old guys I think he would be a great answer to our problems.

WCW is off to a good start in my opinion, and soon I, Eric Bischoff and my great staff will bring WCW back to glory! We are currently running names for our weekly show, We will most likely bring back Thunder but who knows. We might even run a contest for the fans pick the name for our new show. WCW Journal Day 2 tuesday, May 2001

Not much went on today as it seemed uneventful. There was couple of articles I cut out of the new paper, such as me (Eric Bischoff) buying WCW. I went on to read more and what do I see? Vincent Kennedy McMahon admits defeat. I will post the Articles at the end of this entry it’s so great…Very soon I will be posting a letter on the WCW website letting everyone know what’s going on.

In other news The warrior (known as the ultimate warrior) sent an email to me to state “He has no interest in Wrestling for a small time promotion” Which is great. I really planned to used him as the main guy, kinda like I did with Hogan and Randy Savage back in the 90’s. He was going to hold the world title for some time…but yea….

I kept in touch after Hogan left, he also agree its to small for a star like him and Randy, but hey doesn’t hurt to try right? A super star like Hogan would put WCW back on the wrestling map.

Speaking of Vince earlier, even though he no longer “owns” WWF, they have started a bidding war with one of the wrestler, Glenn Ruth. I want to boost our once great tag team division that helped us destroy the WWF in ratings, but we will see this goes down.

Vince McMahon Admits Defeat!

Vince McMahon held a press conference today and announced the closure of the XFL. The league was been created as a joint venture between NBC and WWF and both have invested huge dollars into experiment. NBC announced it would not broadcast a second XFL season, thus admitting failure in its attempt at airing replacement pro football. Vince McMahon is said to be devastated by the failure of his latest venture, the impact this news has on the WWF is yet to be seen.

Bischoff Buys WCW!

Eric Bischoff has announced his purchase of World Championship Wrestling. The company has been on a downward spiral for over a year and was close to being bought out by Vince McMahon until Bischoff made a last minute offer which saw him buy the promotion for little over 2 million dollars. With no TV or PPV deals in place the next few months look to be vital for the company.

WCW Journal Day 3 Wednesday, May 2001

Anther slow day fans, The only thing I have to report on is two contracts I have offered. I didn't offer a big time name a contract today. Ok well their decent size name, to be honest and they both worked for WCW in the past.

Jimmy "The mouth of the south" Hart was the first one I contacted about coming back. He would be team up with Bret "The hit man" hart. I always liked Jimmy and thought he could do some great things for the business. I hope we can sign him.

The next worker I sent a contract offer to, Jim neidhart. The plan so far if Jim comes to WCW again would be making the Hart foundation but of course we might not, as we want both Jimmy and Jim here to be part of this. I was never a big fan of Neidhart but though it could open up to bigger things then the tag division but we will see.

Like I said fans, only small bit to report for today, maybe tomorrow will be more but for now stay true and remember WCW is "Where the big boys play".

WCW Journal Day 5 Friday, May 2001

Another great day here at WCW. The first thing I come into office my assiant imeddily give a number and tells me to call it. I also discover alot of WWF signings happened over the night and including some of ours signings. We also started talking to PPV companys abouts having them air our PPVs live.

I was cuorise about the number. Who or what was I calling? I had no idea. To my surpise after the sectary picked up "

"Lisa Hsia office, how may I help you?"

I was stunned, It was the office of the Vice presendent office of bravo. It tooked me a mintue to answer but snap out of the daze when she asked if I was there.

"uh...yes I am here" I said.

She responded "How may I help you?"

"yes, Im Eirc Bischoff with WCW"

she cut me off "yes we were expecting your call, I'll patch you though"

The rest is pretty boring, as we were only finalizeing a deal to put WCW on tv. I knew at the end of the day WCW was back and ready to rock. I tried to put it on prime time but of course with our recent failurs, the network wouldn't allowed it. I can say the move to bravo was a great bussiness move as they are giving us the biggest payout.We got a deal for hour and half long in the after noon (3:30 P.M.-5 P.M.) on thursday nights.

Next thing I and my staff did was get on the phones and try to open up negations for the ppvs we will be airing in the upcoming months. I only contacted about three companies about the issue and the great staff I have took care of the rest. I for one was more focus on having viewers from North America (usa, Canada). The companies we have contacted are the following, TVN Entertainment, Globe cast World TV, COX, Charter, Cable Vision, Adelphia, and last but no least USA Free Choice. All are great companies to work with; I really don't have a preference company to work with for PPVS.

We did sign a few names to WCW, David William Heath known as Gangrel in the WWF. We did sign the other half of the head bangers (Mosher). We are sure David can fine success in wcw. Mosher should be competing for the us title in no time.

We also contacted the following people to WCW. Jerry Jarrett, Harley Race and James Mitchell will be a part of the new WCW. James will be the only one from the list to be active in the ring and not behind the scenes.

On that note we also contacted Kevin Matthew Fertig about wrestling wcw as we plan to have him tag with David as Vampires. We only recently though of this and decided this could help us a lot. I think these two guys could be the future of WCW.

Now, we aren’t the only ones who made a impact today in the "Free Ahent" pool, as WWF signed some big names as well. The list is the following Jerry 'The King' Lawler, Shawn Michaels, Jake 'The Sneak' Roberts, Butch Miller, and Viscera. Only thing I have left to talk about is smackdown. The rating came in and it got a 1.79 for the show.

I have never though we would be this far along but I was wrong. We are moving ahead quickly and niothing can stop us. Well fans its time to say good bye again, I will return and keep you updated on the happenings of WCW.

WCW Journal Day 6 saturday, May 2001

Today was a long boring day. Nothing but meetings and more meetings, "what direction" will WcW go in during the new era? Who will be the champion of the new WcW? What title we were going to keep and what ones we feel no longer needed in WCW.

We have decided to keep all the champions from the previous WCW the same. That’s not saying there won't be any changes cause they will be changes. We can't run things like I did, when Ted Tuner owned the company, or I might as well sell WcW to ECW or WWF.

Speaking of WWF they signed a few notable names such as Luke Williams and Barry Windham. My sources also Confim they made a big signing not yet made public. The signings wwf made does not worry me much, I have some tricks in my book and we will use it to our advantage.

The Current WCW champions will stay the same for now. This could change in the future. The list that follows are the current champions. WWF are making power moves but wcw is waiting for the right time to strike. They may have won what I like to call the Monday night battles, but they have not won the war yet. The closing of this letter to the faithful fans I thank you for being patiently with us and being part of the WCW family.
