Whatever happend to . . .

This is a small, immersion-related issue, but in at least one version of EA's NCAA game, at the end of the season you received a report informing you of which of your seniors or early entries got drafted and at what round/pick they were drafted. After recruiting these players and steadfastly developing them over several years, I think it would be an interesting and gratifying addition to see how they fare come draft day. And it would be even nicer if this info was recorded in the team's historical archive, so you could see how many 1st round DE's or QB's or 7th round kickers or whatever have graduated from a particular school. Not a pressing gameplay issue, I know, but something I'd enjoy seeing down the road. And as this is my first post, I'd also like to chime in with a big thanks for this game. I think it's terrific, and with a few more updates, it may rival OOTP for occupying vast stretches of my time.

I whole heartedly agree, I can't imagine for the life of me why any college sports sim would totally ignore the pro draft, whether basketball or football. The college years did the same thing unfortunately. While exporting the class to a future pro football sim's draft class would be nice, I think any college sim should have a draft itself.
I'll be real daring and go out on a limb here and speculate that Arlie will incorporate this feature into his upcoming Pro Football game :) -Cork55
Which would be really cool, but what about the 20-50 seasons we'll have run through before it comes out? :(

Perhaps Arlie will allow us to export the draft data to a format that will allow us to import it to TPF or to a spreadsheet where one could approximate future draft results. Since I own TPF, I would love to be able to import the draft pool from BB into TPF. -Cork55
