WCW World Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage Match - Eric Bischoff is the special guest referee

Goldberg © vs. "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash vs. "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner

Goldberg does not lose in a three way.

Mask vs. Career I Quit Match - Rey Misterio's wife must be at ringside

Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Scott Hall

Losing a prestigious mask makes one hell of a PPV -- and without Hall, the Order loses its teeth. I'm guessing this will be a match that'll push you to National.

WCW United States Championship Submission Match

Lance Storm © vs. Kanyon

Not a fan of Kanyon

WCW Tag Team Championship Tables Match

The Impact Players © vs. Sons Of The South

Sons of the South are great tag guys... get Dusty over as the champs so he can hold the big belt.

Elimination Tag Team Match

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper vs. Sting and Diamond Dallas Page

No way the aging Flair goes over here, or the ancient Rowdy Piper

Two On One Handicap Match

"The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith vs. "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett and Sean O'Haire

Jarret doesn't need a victory here.. the Bulldog does.

Street Fight

Booker T vs. Hugh Morrus

This is a squash.

WCW World Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage Match - Eric Bischoff is the special guest referee

Goldberg © vs. "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash vs. "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner

My expectation is that Goldberg loses the strap in some sort of screwjob finish, Nash takes the title for a short term run because Bishoff rather have the title on anyone but Goldberg right now. This also sets up a fresh scenario of possible main event feuds, Nash vs Sting, Nash vs Rey, ect. All while Goldberg becomes a loose cannon and attempts to rid WCW of Bishoff for good. Bishoff throws some newly built up monsters at Goldberg and the cycle of building up Goldberg for the big title match begins all again.

Mask vs. Career I Quit Match - Rey Misterio's wife must be at ringside

Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Scott Hall

Probably one of the best built up feuds I've read. Rey goes over somehow, while I expect Nash/Adams to get involved with Rey either during the match or post-match.

WCW United States Championship Submission Match

Lance Storm © vs. Kanyon

I think a Storm going for all 3 major WCW titles would be a great storyline, even if it was a short set-up match, I think a lot of people would love for Storm to get thrown into the main event scene to see if the guy has the stuff to compete with say Kevin Nash. Sadly, I think Kanyon takes the title.

WCW Tag Team Championship Tables Match

The Impact Players © vs. Sons Of The South

Fresh tag team feuds, got to love em'!

Elimination Tag Team Match

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper vs. Sting and Diamond Dallas Page

Sting and Page get the win over guys who are getting on in age. Things are setting up for an inevitable WCW vs. Elite style PPV. I'm hoping for the return of Wargames!

Two On One Handicap Match

"The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith vs. "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett and Sean O'Haire

Jarrett/O'Haire are being built up nicely, only a matter of time before these guys go for some championship gold.

Street Fight

Booker T vs. Hugh Morrus

Interesting match, Morrus could very well win and get thrown into a series of matches with someone like Goldberg so that something fresh could happen. Booker's still over I assume, for that reason I can't see Booker losing.

WCW Uncensored - Official Card

WCW World Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage Match - Eric Bischoff is the special guest referee

Goldberg © vs. "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash vs. "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner

- Goldberg looks to be the viable option here. Nash shouldn't have the title and Steiner doubtfully has the popularity you need at this stage in the game.

Mask vs. Career I Quit Match - Rey Misterio's wife must be at ringside

Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Scott Hall

- I see this as your opportunity to push Rey into the main event. It seems like Hall's on his way down quickly.

WCW United States Championship Submission Match

Lance Storm © vs. Kanyon

- This would do two things; 1. Push Kanyon as a main player, which seems to be what you're wanting. 2. Gets the mid-card title off Storm and allows him to go into the main event, possibly with a feud with a retaining champion Goldberg.

WCW Tag Team Championship Tables Match

The Impact Players © vs. Sons Of The South

- I see them retaining not only to build the division, but also allow Storm to keep some momentum.

Elimination Tag Team Match

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper vs. Sting and Diamond Dallas Page

- Sting should still not be losing, and definitely not to them.

Two On One Handicap Match

"The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith vs. "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett and Sean O'Haire

- Going with the obvious here, hopefully I'm not wrong.

Street Fight

Booker T vs. Hugh Morrus

-No way Morrus goes over Booker. He will never be in the main event, Booker could be your main player for years.

Once in the ring, Bischoff demands a mic and is immediately handed one. He says that tonight is a new beginning for The Elite and that tonight they will be the night where they retake control of WCW. He says that he put The Elite together for a reason and that reason was to ensure the future of WCW by keeping a firm grip on everything that happened in the company. That hasn't quite been the case so far, but all of that is going to change tonight when Scott Steiner reclaims the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and puts The Elite back on top of the mountain. The fans suddenly start chanting "Goldberg" and Bischoff says that they can chant for Goldberg all they want, but it's not going to change the fact that his pathetic so called "title reign" is coming to an end tonight without a single successful title defense--and that's a guarantee! With all four men in the ring at the same time it was, by nature, a bit chaotic at times, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Dustin Rhodes and BG James took control of the match early on but, in truth, neither team was able to maintain control for very long at the time as the momentum switched back and forth throughout the duration of this one. The finish came when Ted DiBiase got involved outside the ring, blasting Dustin Rhodes with a steel chair to the back--an action that immediately brought WCW's color commentator, Dusty Rhodes, to ringside where he exchanged some heated words with DiBiase. Meanwhile in the ring, Lance Storm and Mike Awesome made the most of the advantage their manager had provided them with by double teaming BG James, beating him down until finally Mike Awesome put him through a table with the Awesome Bomb for the win.

The Impact Players defeated Sons Of The South at 13.43 when Mike Awesome put BG James through a table with an Awesome Bomb. Sean O'Haire started the match for The Elite and the youngster got in trouble early on against the much more experienced veteran, Davey Boy Smith. Davey Boy then irish whipped O'Haire into The Elite's corner and signalled for Jarrett to make the tag....but "The Chosen One" instead jumped down off the apron and stood side by side with Cheerleader Melissa, with seemingly no intention of entering the match. Frustrated, The Bulldog went to go after Jarrett but he was cut off by Sean O'Haire who attacked The Bulldog from behind. What followed was essentially a very competitive, hard fought singles match between Davey Boy Smith and Sean O'Haire, and Jeff Jarrett only entered the ring once during this time and that was to break up a pin after The Bulldog hit the Running Powerslam on O'Haire. The finish to this one came after Sean O'Haire had fought his way back into the match, and after a series of nice offensive moves he had the Bulldog down in position for the Seanton Bomb, but as O'Haire went to climb to the top turnbuckle, Jeff Jarrett tagged himself in, pulled The Bulldog to his feet, hit the Stroke and pinned him for the win, securing The Elite's first success of the night.

Jeff Jarrett and Sean O'Haire defeated Davey Boy Smith at 10.45 by pinfall when Jeff Jarrett pinned Davey Boy with the Stroke ©

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JeffJarrett.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/SeanOHaire2001.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/CheerleaderMelissa.jpg

Jeff Jarrett and Cheerleader Melissa are both all smiles in the ring following the win as Jarrett poses for the crowd while Melissa attempts to get them to chant Jarrett's name. With a shot of Sean O'Haire staring at Jeff Jarrett, we cut to the back where Joey Styles is standing by.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JoeyStyles2000.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/RicFlair2.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/RoddyPiper6.jpg

In the back Joey Styles introduces his guests...Elite members "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper! Joey asks Flair and Piper about their match later tonight against Sting and Diamond Dallas Page and Flair says echoes what Eric Bischoff said earlier, that tonight is about The Elite stepping up and proving exactly why they are members of The Elite. Flair says that Sting tried to end his career at Starrcade when he refused to release the Scorpion Deathlock even after the match was over, but tonight Sting pays the price for his actions. Tonight Sting will be made to eat his words about "The Nature Boy" being everything that is wrong with WCW because tonight..."The Nature Boy" and "The Hotrod" are taking care of business and there won't be a thing that Sting or DDP can do about it--WOOOO!!!!

Joey then turns to Piper and asks him for his comments as well. Piper says that he came back to WCW to do a job and that job was to help The Elite in any way possible. Piper says he has done that, but Diamond Dallas Page has done everything in his power to make his life miserable since coming back. Piper says that DDP has stuck his nose into his business one too many times and tonight Page is going to find out exactly what happens to people who don't own enough common sense to stay out of his business. Tonight...Sting and DDP goes up against two legends in this business, and they are going to come up waaaaayyyy short of reaching their goals. (C+)

Street Fight

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillDeMott.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BookerT.jpg

Hugh Morrus' mental health seems to have taken a serious turn for the worse as of late and the twisted Morrus has looked more dangerous recently than ever before. That continued in this match as well as Morrus immediately took control of this one and, to the great surprise of the fans in attendance, Morrus actually dominated Booker T early on in this one, using power move after power move to keep Booker down. Feeding off the support of the fans, Booker would eventually fight his way back into this one as the fight spilled out of the ring. Both men took a considerable amount of punishment as the intensity of this match just kept going up, and both men literally used anything and everything they could get their hands on to punish their opponent, steel chairs, kendo sticks, garbage cans... In the end, after a grueling, psychically intense, and downright brutal match, it was Booker T who came out on top after hitting the Bookend on Morrus outside the ring for the pinfall and the victory in a very good match.

Booker T defeated Hugh Morrus at 13.10 by pinfall with a Bookend (B-)

WCW United States Championship - Submission Match

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/WCWUS2.jpg

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/LanceStorm2.jpgw/http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/TedDiBiase.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ChrisKanyon4.jpg

This was the second match of the night for Lance Storm who wrestled two matches for the second straight pay per view. Having already gone through a tough match against Sons Of The South earlier tonight in a Tables match for the Tag Team Titles, Storm did seem to be somewhat slowed down during this one--no doubt trying to pace himself to keep from blowing up. Kanyon, on the other hand, was fresh and used that advantage to take control of the match early on. Storm battled back and this one ended up being the second longest match of the night. The length of the match favored Kanyon as the fresher man, and perhaps it helped to make up for the fact that Lance Storm likely a better submission wrestler than the challenger. After a highly competitive, back and forth match, the finish to this one came north of the 16 minute mark when a visibly exhausted Lance Storm walked right into a Crossface from Kanyon, and after struggling bravely to get to the ropes without success Storm had no choice but to tap out.

Kanyon defeated Lance Storm at 16.27 by submission when Storm tapped out to a Crossface. Finally Dusty Rhodes adds his thoughts to the mix, wondering what impact--no pun intended--it had that Lance Storm had already wrestled once earlier tonight. The Elite struggled to gain any kind of momentum in this match from that point on, and their problems only increased when Piper fell victim to a Diamond Cutter from DDP and was eliminated around the five minute mark. As Rey and Angie approached the ring, Tony Schiavone reminded everyone that Rey's wife has to be at ringside for this match as that was one of Scott Hall's demands in order to accept the match. Mike and Dusty both think that Angie should not be here, and that the only reason Scott Hall wants her to be here is because he has some bad intentions in mind. He wants to humiliate Rey in front of his wife--as if Hall hadn't done enough to Rey Misterio already. Rey and Angie got about halfway down the entrance ramp, but then Rey stopped at almost the exact same spot that Scott Hall did and then Rey looked back toward the entrance ramp....

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Konnan2.jpg

It's Konnan! A relentless Rey Misterio continued his flurry of offense, not allowing Hall a second to regroup, until Hall had finally had enough and escaped out of the ring to get some seperation. But it didn't last for long. As Hall was outside the ring catching his breath, Rey bounced off the ropes and dove through the ropes on the opposite side of the ring, nailing the suicide dive to a great pop from the crowd! Rey pulled Hall back to his feet and rolled him back into the ring--but then Rey suddenly got nailed from behind with a vicious blow to the back of his head by Brian Adams! The crowd booed loudly as Adams put the boots to Rey. Adams continued the assault, but quickly stopped and retreated as Konnan made his way around to that side of the ring. Konnan had some words of encouragement for Rey as he slowly got back into the ring.

In the ring, Scott Hall was back to his feet and he was all over Rey as soon as Rey entered the ring, swinging the momentum firmly back in his favor. Hall remained in control of the match for the next several minutes, using his superior size and strength to dominate his much smaller opponent. Hall's arrogance eventually got the better of him, however, as he decided to taunt Rey Misterio instead of pressing the advantage, slapping the back of Rey's head repeatedly and even yelling at Rey's wife, Angie, at ringside. This allowed Rey just enough time to catch his breath, and when Hall finally turned his attention back to Rey he was met by another flurry of offense from Misterio. Rey's speed once again proved difficult for Hall to contend with, and Rey had his opponent on his heels right up until Brian Adams got involved again, sliding into the ring and blatantly attacking Rey right in front of the referee as Mike Tenay commented that, unfortunately, the referee can't disqualify Hall because the only way to win the match is by making your opponent say the words "I quit". Konnan entered the ring as well and was about to get involved when the referee, much to everyone's surprise, stepped up and banished Brian Adams from ringside! Hall and Adams were both furious, and Tony Schiavone commented that the nWo's plan seemed to have backfired on them because now Scott Hall was on his own while Rey still had Konnan at ringside.

The next part of the match was incredibly even, and the momentum went back and forth throughout with neither man willing to say the two words that would bring the match to an end. Scott Hall was the first man to bring weapons into play in this one as he, after having tried and failed to get Misterio to say "I quit" after several attempts, decided to bring a steel chair into the ring. Hall went to blast Rey with the chair...but Rey managed to kick him in the gut before he could do it! Hall raised the chair up again, but again Rey stopped him from using it! Rey then went on the offensive, flying around the ring and, once again, his speed was just too much for Hall to deal with. After two hurricanranas and a dropkick, Scott Hall was lying flat on his back in the middle of the ring, and that's when Rey Misterio headed up to the top rope.

The fans rose to their feet in anticipation of what Rey was going to do next but then, as Rey was perched on the top rope ready to punish Hall some more, he was suddenly hit across his back with a steel chair and he collapsed to the floor of the ring in a heap as shock and surprise hushed the crowd almost completely as they saw who was wielding the chair....

Konnan!

Tony Schiavone couldn't believe it; Rey Misterio's best friend just stabbed him in the back! The shock and surprise that had previously dominated the crowd now turned into anger toward Konnan and Scott Hall, and they were booing loudly as Konnan entered the ring and helped Hall back to his feet. Hall directed Konnan to pull Rey to his feet, and as he did so Hall grabbed another steel chair. Konnan grabbed Rey from behind, rendering him completely helpless, and Scott Hall proceeded to blast Rey with a steel chair to the head as the thud of the impact echoed throughout the arena. Hall then motioned for Konnan to pull Rey to his feet again....another chair shot!...And another one!...And another one! The brutal and ruthless beating continued until, finally, Rey's wife, Angie, had seen enough, and with tears in her eyes she was begging the referee to stop the match. The referee explained that there was nothing he could do unless Rey said that he quit, and Angie then decided to say the words for her husband instead.

"He quits" she cried, desperate to bring an end to the brutal beating, and after thinking it over for a moment the referee accepted Angie's submission on Rey's behalf.

Scott Hall defeated Rey Misterio Jr. at 17.50 when Rey's wife Angie quit on his behalf (B-)

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottHall2.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Konnan2.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BrianAdams.jpg

Brian Adams makes his way down to the ring and the three nWo members are laughing and hugging each other, clearly overjoyed that their master plan succeeded. Rey still looks to be out, and Angie is by her husband's side, still with tears in her eyes. The announcers all talk about how Rey did agree to put his mask on the line in this match, but this is just ridiculous! Scott Hall and the nWo has once again found a way to screw Rey over, and now they are going to humiliate the man by taking his mask off while he likely is still unconcious. Angie tries to protect her husband by getting in between him and the nWo members, but a smiling Scott Hall quickly reminds her about the stipulation for the match. Konnan and Brian Adams grabs Rey, pulls him to his feet and holds him in front of Hall, who seems to be enjoying the moment as he prepares to unmask Rey Misterio.

But then....

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Sting24.jpg

It's Sting!!! The crowd explodes with cheers as "The Conscience Of WCW" makes his way down to the ring, walking at a slow, menacing pace, and carrying his trademark black baseball bat in his hands. Sting gets into the ring and stands face to face with Hall, Adams and Konnan, not backing down an inch from them. Unsurprisingly, the nWo attacks, but Sting is ready for them as Brian Adams takes a baseball bat to the gut! Konnan takes one as well, and Scott Hall quickly bails out of the ring before Sting can get to him. Adams and Konnan rolls out of the ring as well and the nWo retreats back up the ramp while Sting watches them. Angie returns to her husband's side, and Tony Schiavone is heard posing the question that is likely on everyone's mind at this time; What does this all mean?

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillGoldberg2.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/KevinNash2002.jpg

A graphic pops up on the screen informing everyone that it is just about main event time, and the announcers briefly discuss the upcoming match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship as Goldberg defends his title for the first time since winning it at Starrcade, in a three way match against "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner and "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash. Tony and Mike once again agree that Scott Steiner is the odds on favorite to win the match due to Eric Bischoff's role as special guest referee, and they wonder if Goldberg and Nash even have a chance of winning tonight since Bischoff probably won't let them, but Dusty adds that there is only so much that the referee can control in a Steel Cage environment, and Goldberg and Kevin Nash both know what it takes to win the big oen, and they are both capable of getting it done. (B)

"The following contest is a Steel Cage match and it is for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship!!! The announcers talked about the fact that Goldberg is undefeated since WCW returned from hiatus, an impressive feat that made it hard to bet against the World Champion. Once in the ring, Goldberg stared at Eric Bischoff, giving the owner of WCW a dangerous look that seemed to make him more than a little uncomfortable. Goldberg then unstrapped the title belt and held the title high in the air to another great reaction from the crowd for the World Heavyweight Champion.

"Introducing next, weighing in at three hundred and five pounds, and representing the nWo..."Big Sexy" KEVIN NASH!!!!!

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/KevinNash2002.jpg

Kevin Nash made his way down to the ring to mostly boos from the crowd while the announcers talked about the point Nash made on this past edition of Monday Nitro, with Nash saying that he's won more World Titles by himself than Goldberg and Scott Steiner put together, so in terms of title experince you'd have to give the edge to Kevin Nash. Nash entered the ring and gave both Bischoff and Goldberg a distrustful look before throwing up the nWo hand signal to another largely negative reaction from the crowd.

"And introducing next the other challenger, weighing in at two hundred and seventy six pounds, and representing The Elite...."Big Poppa Pump" SCOTT STEINER!!!!!"

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpg

Scott Steiner made his way down to the ring as the announcers again talked about the fact that, with Scott Steiner being part of Eric Bischoff's Elite, it is hard to imagine Scott Steiner not walking out of this match with the World Heavyweight Championship. Eric Bischoff was actually clapping in the ring as Steiner made his way down the entrance ramp, making no effort whatsoever to hide his allegiance. With Steiner in the ring as well, the cage was lowered and we were ready to get under way.

WCW World Heavyweight Championship - Steel Cage Match

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillGoldberg2.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/KevinNash2002.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpg

The match started off with all three men staring each other down as the suspense and anticipation in the building grew with each passing second. And then all hell broke loose. All three men attacked each other at once, and as a result there were fists flying everywhere, some hitting their intended mark, others missing wildly. This continued for several seconds until Nash and Steiner got on the same page, at least momentarily, and the two joined forces to beat the champion down. Nash and Steiner then both grabbed Goldberg and launched him into the side of the cage. Steiner went to follow up, but that was when Nash turned on Steiner and attacked him, ramming several knees into Steiner's midsection and forcing him back into the corner. Nash hit a few more knees, and a couple of elbows. Nash then measured up Steiner before landing the final big elbow that sent Steiner collapsing to the floor of the ring.

Nash then turned his attention to Goldberg, but too late! Goldberg was already back to his feet and landed a kick to Nash's jaw just as Nash turned around. Nash rolled away from Goldberg but the World Champion followed after, something he would come to regret moments later when Nash grabbed Goldberg's trunks and pulled Goldberg face first into the steel cage again as Mike Tenay commented that we just saw a perfect example of Nash's veteran instincts as he turned the tables on Goldberg. Nash remained in control of the match for the next several minutes, going back and forth between Goldberg and Steiner, keeping both men down. This only worked for so long, however, and Nash would soon find himself on the receiving end of a low blow from Scott Steiner. Steiner followed it up with a DDT and suddenly "Big Poppa Pump" was in complete control, much to the special guest referee's great pleasure.

Steiner focused in on Kevin Nash, landing a belly to back suplex as well, before attempting to lock Nash into the Steiner Recliner. Eric Bischoff was right there, ready to call for the submission as soon as Steiner got the hold locked in, and Nash knew it too as he was fighting with everything he had to keep Steiner from applying the hold. Nash resisted just long enough for Goldberg to get back to his feet, charge at Steiner and hit the Spear, forcing seperaton between Steiner and Nash! The crowd were on their feet as the World Champion began to assert his dominance, but as Goldberg dominated in the ring, Eric Bischoff made his way over to the referee that stood outside the cage, ready to open the door if either man woud attempt to exit the cage. Bischoff gave the referee strict instructions not to unlock the cage door for anybody other than Scott Steiner, and the referee nodded his understanding.

Meanwhile, Goldberg just hit a Spear on Kevin Nash as well, and the World Champion pulled Nash to his feet and got him into position for the Jackhammer, but a blow to the back of Goldberg's head from "Big Poppa Pump" put an end to that--but it just seemed to piss Goldberg off! SPEAR!!!! Goldberg just speared Scott Steiner for a second time!!! Steiner was down, Nash was down, Goldberg was making his way toward the cage door, and Eric Bischoff was freaking out.

Goldberg demanded for the door to be opened, but the referee outside the cage explained to him that he couldn't, by orders of Eric Bischoff. Goldberg turned and stared at Bischoff, and an obviously uncomfortable Eric Bischoff quickly reminded Goldberg that he was not only the referee, but also the owner of WCW. Goldberg sneered and grabbed Bischoff by the throat--an action that drew a huge pop from the crowd, and Tony Schiavone was heard saying that he couldn't really blame Goldberg for this, seeing as how Goldberg would have had the match won right now if it hadn't been for Eric Bischoff. But rather than going through with the attack, Goldberg released his grip of Bischoff and instead grabbed Scott Steiner and pulled him to his feet. Goldberg then made a point of staring at Bischoff for a moment before....JACKHAMMER!!! Goldberg covered.....................

But Bischoff refused to count the pin, much to all three announcers great frustration. Goldberg wasn't just frustrated, however, he was downright pissed off! Goldberg got back to his feet......SPEAR!!!!! GOLDBERG JUST SPEARED THE OWNER OF WCW!!!

Bischoff was out and the crowd absolutely loved it! Goldberg walked back to the cage door and demanded that it be opened, but the referee again told him no. Kevin Nash had gotten back to his feet in the meantime, and he attacked Goldberg from behind. Nash turned Goldberg around and connected with several hard right hand punches. Sidewalk Slam by Nash on Goldberg, and then the straps came down. Nash pulled Goldberg to his feet and irish whipped him into the ropes, looking to score with the Big Boot---SPEAR!!!! Goldberg with a Spear from out of nowhere!

Goldberg jumped back to his feet and surveyed the damage in the ring. Nash was down. Steiner was down. Tony Schiavone was heard saying that it was absolutely ridiculous--Goldberg had had the match won twice now and yet it was still going on. Not for much longer though, as Goldberg took a step and, with a mighty roar, literally kicked the cage door off it's hinges, making it possible for Goldberg to leave the cage and win the match.

Goldberg defeated Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash at 14.42 when Goldberg escaped the cage.
Ouch for overall show grade. Again, the write up great and I don't think as far as the game goes that you even had a bad show. I enjoyed the show and what you did. The grades don't reflect that accurately.

What's your backstage rating? Additionally, how is your worker morale? No reason I can see that the main event should've scored you a C+. Even with Goldberg and Steiner no selling and Nash's horrible skills, their popularity alone should've gotten you at least a B.

Although, it looks like you're having the exact same problem with Goldberg that I had in this mod - He is not successful as World Champion. Didn't matter what I did or how popular he was (and he was very popular, high 80's, low 90's) he bombed each time I had him champion (twice). He cost me company popularity, ratings, and show grades. I have no idea why.

Anyway, keep up the good work, I'm enjoying it!

While my backstage rating has improved since I started, it's still pretty low and I'm guessing that's a big part of the reason some matces, and especially certain segments, are rated lower than they should. Worker morale is generally good, with a few exceptions.

And yeah, the Starrcade and Uncensored main events were both disappointing, not a great start as champion for Goldberg, that's for sure.

Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated! :)

Now I understand why Hall didn't squash Konnan on Nitro before the PPV. Quite the swerve, I was fully expecting a Rey "upset". Great PPV, although I'm still thoroughly disappointed that Goldberg continues to hold the belt despite dragging each main event down. Last few writeups have been top notch. Continue the great work!

Monday Nitro Preview

It is less than 24 hours after WCW Uncensored and WCW owner Eric Bischoff has booked a huge card for this week's edition of Monday Nitro. Last night at Uncensored the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Goldberg, retained his title successfully against Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash after the champion escaped the cage, but only after Spearing the WCW owner in response to Bischoff's efforts to get the title back on Scott Steiner. Goldberg's punishment? A one on one match on Monday Nitro against Scott Steiner with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on the line! Can Goldberg continue to beat the odds and hang on to the World Heavyweight Championship? Or will Eric Bischoff and The Elite succeed in regaining the title that was lost at Starrcade?

Also on the show;

Rey Misterio Jr. lost the Mask vs. Career match at Uncensored under controversial circumstances as Misterio's own best friend, Konnan, turned on him and joined forces with the nWo, but an appearance from Sting prevented Scott Hall from unmasking Misterio after the match. What will Eric Bischoff have to say about this? Will Rey be forced to unmask on Nitro?

Lance Storm's 7 month reign as United States Champion came to an end last night at Uncensored, tonight he receives his rematch as he faces the new champion, Kanyon, in a one on one match with the WCW United States Championship on the line. Jeff Jarrett goes one on one with Davey Boy Smith, Diamond Dallas Page faces off against "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and to top it all off the WCW owner, Eric Bischoff, has promised to make a "huge announcement" at the start of the show, so tune in to WCW Monday Nitro for all of this and more!

Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes welcomes everyone to the show, and they discuss the events Uncensored, mainly Goldberg retaining the World Heavyweight Championship and Rey Misterio Jr. losing the Mask vs. Career match against Scott Hall after Konnan turned on Rey, only to have Sting come out to help Rey. Bischoff enters the ring with a mic in hand and he says that for the past weeks and months he has been coming down to the ring and saying that The Elite was going to dominate, that they were going to take control, and that they were going to show everyone that they were indeed The Elite of professional wrestling. But obviously that hasn't happened, and now his patience is finally at an end. He says that he hasn't been hard enough on the members of The Elite, but that is all going to change tonight! He won't accept failure any longer and because of that, if "Rowdy" Roddy Piper loses to Diamond Dallas Page later tonight...then Piper is fired!

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/KevinNash2002.jpg

The nWo music suddenly starts playing and "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash makes his way out from the back. Nash says that he couldn't help but notice that Scott Steiner is being handed another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship tonight, and Bischoff quickly explains that by saying that Steiner was neither pinned nor made to submit last night at Uncensored--but Nash is just as quick to point out that, well, neither was he! Nash says that he has just as much claim to a title shot as Steiner does, and he thinks that he should be next in line to face the winner of tonight's World Title match....next week on Monday Nitro! Bischoff doesn't look too pleased with that idea, but Nash says that if Bischoff wants to maintain even the slightest hint of being a fair and unbiased boss for the viewing audience, then he has no choice but to book the match. Bischoff hesitates for a moment and then, reluctantly, he agrees--Kevin Nash will challenge the winner of tonight's main event live on Monday Nitro next week for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship!!!! (C+)

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/NormanSmiley.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JimDuggan2.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Shane_Douglas7.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/MikeSanders.jpgw/http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/StacyKieblerHeel.jpg

The first match of the night saw Mike Sanders and Shane Douglas try their hand at teaming together, and it turned out rather well for the duo as they made relatively short work of Duggan and Smiley, with Sanders hitting the 3.0 on "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan for the win.

Mike Sanders and Shane Douglas defeated Jim Duggan and Norman Smiley at 6.19 by pinfall when Sanders pinned Duggan following a 3.0 (D)

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottHall2.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BrianAdams.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Konnan2.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/EricBischoff3.jpg

Scott Hall, Brian Adams and Konnan are all seen entering Eric Bischoff's office in the backstage area. Bischoff informs Hall that Rey Misterio isn't here tonight--he is still in the hospital following last night's events--but Bischoff says that he'll deal with it next week. Tonight Jarrett faced off alone against Davey Boy in a match set up by Eric Bischoff to test "The Chosen One", but it was the Bulldog who took control early on. Davey Boy had plenty to avenge following Uncensored, and he really took the fight to Jarrett early on, not allowing Jarrett even a single second to catch his breath, dominating him with a series of power moves. Foreshadowing what would happen later on, it was a timely distraction by Cheerleader Melissa at ringside that finally allowed Jarrett to get back into the match, but the Bulldog kept fighting back. In the end it was another distraction from Cheerleader Melissa that would determine the outcome of the match as she climbed onto the apron and, rather overtly, attempted to flirt with Davey Boy. Then, in a surprising moment, while the referee was distracted by Jarrett, Cheerleader Melissa stunned the Bulldog with a sudden, but perfectly executed, superkick to Davey Boy's jaw which sent him stumbling right into a Stroke from Jarrett and the one, two, three.

Jeff Jarrett defeated Davey Boy Smith at 12.27 by pinfall with a Stroke following interference from Cheerleader Melissa ©

As "The Chosen One" celebrates his win in the ring, Tony Schiavone informs us that we are cutting to the back where Joey Styles is standing by with "The Conscience Of WCW" Sting.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JoeyStyles2000.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Sting24.jpg

Joey asks Sting about the situation that unfolded last night at Uncensored when Sting came out and got involved in the issue between Scott Hall and Rey Misterio Jr., effectively preventing Hall from unmasking Rey. Sting says that last night wasn't about standing up for Rey or fighting Rey's battles for him, it was about ensuring that Rey had a level playing field to fight his battle on. Sting says that what he witnessed last night, with Konnan turning on Rey to help Scott Hall win the match, was shameful, yet sadly typical of the nWo and WCW in general. But there way simply no way--no way--that he was going to stand by and do nothing while Scott Hall and the nWo disrespected and humiliated Rey Misterio like that in front of Rey's wife and everyone watching. Joey asks if Sting is worried about likely having made himself an even bigger target for the nWo, especially considering that Sting is already firmly on the bad side of Eric Bischoff and The Elite, but Sting simply replies that it is not him who should be worried about the nWo--it's the nWo who should be worried about him. (D+)

WCW United States Championship

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/WCWUS2.jpg

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ChrisKanyon4.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/LanceStorm2.jpgw/http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/TedDiBiase.jpg

In a rematch from last night's Uncensored pay per view, Kanyon defended his recently won United States Championship against the very man he beat for the title at Uncensored, Lance Storm. Tony asks Mike and Dusty who they think are going to walk out with the World Title tonight and Mike Tenay says that after everything Goldberg went through last night, everything that he had to overcome to retain the championship, he can't see him losing tonight either, especially considering that Goldberg is undefeated since WCW returned from hiatus. Dusty disagrees though, saying that Goldberg may have overcome seemingly impossible odds last night, which was an incredible performance, but unfortunately he believes that Scott Steiner, Eric Bischoff, and the rest of The Elite will get the better of Goldberg tonight. Dusty says he hopes that he is wrong, but he just can't see Goldberg beating odds like that two nights in a row. The first several minutes of this one was completely even, with neither man able to maintain an advantage for very long, but then Scott Steiner took control of the match as he unleashed a slew of suplex variations on the World Champ, slowly but surely wearing him down. Goldberg would eventually mount a comeback, and from there the match turned into wild brawl more than anything else, with neither man holding anything back.

As the match neared the ten minute mark, Goldberg impressively managed to hit a military press slam on Steiner, and then Goldberg lined up to deliver the Spear to Steiner......SPEA---NOO! Monday Nitro Preview

This week's edition of WCW Monday Nitro promises to be another huge show as the WCW World Heavyweight Championship is on the line for the second straight week as Goldberg is set to defend the title against "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash. The winner of the match will not only be World Heavyweight Champion, but will also captain the team that will go up against The Elite in the War Games match at SuperBrawl.

Rey Misterio Jr. will make his return to Nitro after missing last week's show due to the beating he received at the hands of the nWo at Uncensored. Eric Bischoff has stated that he will announce his decision regarding the controversial situation between Misterio and Scott Hall--but what will that decision be?

Also on the card, The Elite looks to gain some much needed momentum as we head toward War Games as "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Sean O'Haire teams up to take on Booker T and Diamond Dallas Page. Will The Elite succeed in sending a message to the rest of the roster? Or will their troubles continue?

Number one contenders will be named to both the United States Championship and the Cruiserweight Championship, and Sons Of The South looks to get back on track with a win against the Jung Dragons as they attempt to earn their way toward another tag team title shot against The Impact Players.

All of this and much, much more on this week's edition of WCW Monday Nitro!

Piper gone already? Did he leave or is he retiring?

Can't wait for WarGames! Should be a great read with this much chaos going on inside the two-ring cage! ....it will be two ring cage, and not triple cage, right?

WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Goldberg © vs. Kevin Nash

Ric Flair and Sean O'Haire vs. Booker T and Diamond Dallas Page

O'Haire should look great by winning among this list of legends.

United States Championship Number One Contender

Ernest Miller vs. Buff Bagwell vs. Hugh Morrus vs. Vampiro

Kanyon defeating Buff sounds great.

Cruiserweight Championship Number One Contender

Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Jushin Thunder Liger

Strike while the Liger iron is hot; Tajiri can be built up for the future.
