Second Lead: Luke Pegler (Second lead in possible sequel; No Nudity)

Supporting: Neal McDonough - FBI Chief (No Nudity; No Perks)

You then must list the actors/actresses/directors you want to contact for this film. You should include things like:

What will their role be? (Director, main lead, second lead, supporting, cameo)

Role detail: (Optional but highly recommended, but you can go ahead and describe the role. Short and long are both fine.)

Will they be expected to show any nudity?

What other perks are you offering? (This can range from a leading role in your next film to a larger sized trailer during shooting)

You then must wait for a response from the actor/actress/director before you can begin shooting your film.

So I ended up bailing out really when I just got overwhelmed with time.. so I'd like to re-open Grant Pictures, once again with a marketing genius.

Welcome back. And, you don't have to restart, your studio is still there with its $13,200,000 capital and the franchise right of Battle Royale.

Finally a spreadsheet note: My second movie wasn't directed by Alister Grierson but by John Oliver.

Fixed, and I will reply you on the casting soon, got something going on today so I am just doing some quick replying for now.

This is a bit risky, but why not Nathan Jones?

Actually, Nathan Jones can be on both movies(I haven't edit it yet but I am using the 3 movies per week per talent rules now) if you still want him. However, do note that you are doing an animation and you are taking his voicework, his gigantic build(which I assume is his main value) really isn't much help here.

Question for future reference. If a real world studio trademarks a property we were planning on using here in game, is it still in play for our purposes?

This is more of a guess, judging by how the game works, but other movie rights are being bought too, so I'm sure real life movements have no consequences to the game.

Oh, even better, are all my other deals with actors still in place? If so, do you have a list of them?

Yup, use the spreadsheet link in the first page -> Studio Deals.

EddieFnG is right, it has no impact. At most you are just negotiating with another company...which is pretty much the same as the original owner anyway.

Dark Horse

I price main supports with second lead's price and minor support iwth the support price.

Alejandro González Iñárritu(1.50 SP)

- He would like 1,200,000 + 10% of the film's profit. He's fine with only taking 500,000 upfront.

Let's go w/ 400,000 upfront, but 1.2 + 12% of the profit.

Misha Collins(0.85 SP)

- He will take the job for 765,000. He appreciate the chance of being a lead so he's fine just taking 200,000 upfront.

Agreed.

Jeffery Wright(1.25 SP)

- He would like 750,000.

Agreed to the deal for a supporting role.

Liv Tyler(2.10 SP)

- She will do it for 1,260,000.

Agreed, if her amount post-release is 750k, but I'll give 100k pre-release and the second lead role will be within the next 4 movies.

Chris Cooper(1.35 SP)

- He would take 810,000.

Agreed.

Jason Alexdander(1.45 SP)

Isiah

Alright, here we go:

Dev Patel(1.35 SP)

- 1,115,000. 500,000 pre-release + 615,000 post-release.

Nathan Jones(0.40 SP)

- 320,000.

John Travolta(3.60 SP)

- 3,960,000 + 3% of movie's profit. He's happy that you are putting him in the film so he is fine taking half the money post-release so 1,980,000 pre-release + 1,980,000 post-release.

- HOWEVER, he wants to be treated as a king on the set and that's an extra 100,000 post-release on you for the extra services hired for this job.

- He has a request actually, he wonder if you can put him as Claw Hiller and THEN Nathan Jones to assistant? He's pretty confident that he can handle a villain's voicework much better than a retired wrestler.

Selena Gomez(0.45 SP)

- 270,000. She is just happy someone would hire her so she's fine taking all of them post-release.

Eddie Murphy(3.00 SP)

- He's so happy to be hired again and is willing to take all 2,100,000 post-release.

Russell Crowe(4.15 SP)

- 1,400,000 and all post release if you are fine with using him as main lead in any 1 of your next 5 movie.

Sasha Grey(0.15 SP)

- 80,000.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson(3.50 SP)

- 32,000.

Tim Burton(2.10 SP)

- 1,995,000 + 10%. 1,400,000 pre-release + 595,000 post-release.

Lowest deal possible:

Pre-release: 4,312,000

Post-release: 6,960,000 + 13%

Note: You have the 2.5M from the government so you have $4,959,000 to begin production. 4959000 - 4312000 = 647,000 for production and marketing, assuming you accept all term.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Being A Gentleman

David Fincher(3.70 SP)

- How about 3,000,000 + 11%?

I will do Todd Haynes if you are still satisfied with D.F. and too lazy to re-nego.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Chase

Justin Lin(2.30 SP)

- He wants to see your planned budget to judge how well he could perform the job. He will offer you the price after that.

Jai Courtney(0.95 SP)

- 700,000.

Luke Pegler(1.10 SP)

- 790,000.

Neal McDonough(1.55 SP)

- 852,500.

- 552,500 if you can give him another (at least) support role within your next 5 movies.

Tony Alcantar(1.00 SP)

- 400,000.

Cristoph Sanders(0.80 SP)

- Wee for main lead, so 160,000.

Nathan Jones(0.40 SP)

- 160,000.

Molly Ephraim(0.70 SP)

- Support role is cool, so 220,000.

Lowest deal possible(without Justin Lin's offer):

Pre-release: 2,982,000

Note: Isiah is the last movie to claim the government bonus so if you want to change the rating to a more extreme one, feel free to do so.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dark Horse

Alejandro González Iñárritu(1.50 SP)

- Deal.

Liv Tyler(2.10 SP)

- So a total of 850,000 and 100,000 of them upfront + second lead within 4 movies? Deal if that's the deal.

Jason Alexander(1.45 SP)

- Deal.

J.K. Simmons(1.60 SP)

- Deal.

Aimee Garcia(1.05 SP)

- 275,000?

Okay. Good to know. I would have figured that was the case but thought I'd better double check. Was just reading last night that Warner Bros. has figured out the value of my pet franchise prospect.

Oh and BTW, any word back from Dickie Lee about Laurie since I figured out how to meet his soundtrack request?

It's yours. You pay the franchise fee when you make the movie.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Chase

Justin Lin(2.30 SP)

- He believes he is the shit when it comes to car-chasing movie, so he would say 2,875,000 + 7.5%.

Edit: Almost forgot the cameo.

Vin Diesel(3.30 SP)

- He would do it for 30,000.

Paul Walker(1.45 SP)

- He will do this for 10,000.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Being A Gentleman

Just confirming the price, you can double-check:

Armie Hammer

- 925,000

Ellen page

- 900,000

Alison Brie

- 715,000

Garrett Hedlund

- 300,000

David Fincher

- 3,000,000 + 11%

Pre-release: 5,840,000

Post-release: 11%

And I forgot to reply for the crew -- not like it's really needed anyway. Well, your (aside from financial) crew are not really good in the business-managing, they are just stating what they feel could be better. They are very happy upon your response and your cautious style of approach on financing though, they just want to do their job and get paid.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dark Horse

Feel free to double-check:

Alejandro González Iñárritu

- 400,000 upfront + 800,000 post-release + 12%

Misha Collins

- 200,000 upfront + 565,000 post-release.

Jeffrey Wright

- 200,000 upfront + 200,000 post-release.

Liv Typer

- 100,000 upfront + 750,000 post-release

Chris Cooper

- I assume you take the second deal so 350,000 upfront + 400,000 post-release.

Jason Alexander

- 200,000 upfront + 700,000 post-release.

Sami Gayle

- 150,000

J.K. Simmons

- 450,000

Aimee Garcie

- 275,000

Martin Sheen

- 25,000

Pre-release: 2,350,000

Post-release: 3,415,000 + 12%

I will go 1m + 10%, otherwise, lemme talk to Louis Leterrier.

Justin Lin(2.30 SP)

- 1M + 10% seems so far from his expectation that he thinks you and him are definitely on different page, so he will just pass.

Louis Leterrier(1.70 SP)

- His last few films are all pretty successful on the commercial front so he thinks he deserves 1,870,000 + 10%.
