ranger
We're running a fast-paced historical league that began in 1947 and is now ready for the 1948 expansion (Lakers, Royals, Jets and Pistons) that brings the league up to 12 teams. In these early seasons, we're trying to get through each year in 2-3 weeks, so it's light activity at this stage but will be slowing down as we get into the 60s. We need a GM for the Fort Wayne Pistons with the expansion coming up in the next few days. First applicant gets the job. PM here if you're interested. ranger
Pistons have been filled but there is a new crop of expansion teams coming in at the end of the next season. Syracus Nationals*, Tri-Cities Blackhawks*, Indianapolis Olympians, Anderson Packers, Sheboygan Red Skins, Waterloo Hawks and Denver Nuggets are the 7 teams joining, but there will be two of our current GMs looking for new teams as the Providence Steam Rollers and Indianapolis Jets go out of business. It's a turbulent time in pro basketball and we're simming through a season every 2-3 weeks. Sign up at our forums if you're interested in taking over a team in late August. http://www.nllballers.net/hbl/forum/index.php
ranger
Syracuse Nationals (eventually the 76ers), Tri-Cities Blackhawks (eventually Atlanta), Indianapolis Olympians, Anderson Packers, Sheboygan Redskins, Waterloo Hawks and Denver Nuggets (not the same as current franchise) all joining the league next season as the BAA merges with the NBL to form the NBA. Two current GMS (Jets and Steam Rollers) will see their teams disappear and will be looking to get hired by an expansion team, but that still leaves 5 openings.

http://www.nllballers.net/hbl/
