Pre-Show: Alicia Fox versus Rosa Mendes

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Alicia Fox defeated Rosa Mendes in 17:48 by pinfall with a Watch Yo Face. This match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved.

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Slater & McIntyre defeated The Uso's in 18:08 when Heath Slater defeated Jimmy Uso by pinfall with a Futureshock DDT. Pre-Show: Tyson Kidd versus Mark Henry

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Mark Henry defeated Tyson Kidd in 17:55 by pinfall with a World's Strongest Slam. Mark Henry was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to pick up the all-important victory over a game Tyson Kidd.

Friday Night SmackDown begins with Alberto Del Rio making his way to the ring, as always being introduced by his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez, who hands Del Rio the microphone. Del Rio says that at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month his team of the SmackDown Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz and the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow will defeat Randy Orton and his team of the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston and R-Truth in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Del Rio also says that he knows he and his fellow team mates have not been very successful against the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus on SmackDown as of late but he is confident that the intellectual Damien Sandow will win tonight’s non-title main event against Sheamus, in a match announced earlier in the week by General Manager Booker T. The music of Randy Orton then hits and the “Viper” makes his way to the ring. Del Rio is quick to push Rodriguez into Orton, attempting to create a human shield, but Orton pushes Rodriguez out of the way. Del Rio then tries to kick Orton like he did last week but Orton ducks and hits Del Rio with an RKO. Orton then smiles and heads to the back, leaving Rodriguez to attempt to fan Del Rio to consciousness as we head to a commercial break.

Rating: A

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Eve versus Layla

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Eve defeated Layla in 7:46 by pinfall with a Moonsault. These two Divas will be on opposing teams in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match at Survivor Series as Eve will lead a team against Kaitlyn’s team, which contains Layla.

Match Rating: B-

Following Eve’s victory over Layla, the Divas Champion takes a microphone and proclaims that at Survivor Series her team of Aksana, Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Kharma will defeat Kaitlyn and her team of Layla, Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox and Tamina in their Traditional Survivor Series Match. Aksana then joins Eve in the ring and it appears as though the pair are going to assault Layla before Kaitlyn makes the save. Eve and Aksana flee the ring and Kaitlyn takes the microphone and says that her team will win, as it contains former Divas Champions such as Alicia and Layla as well as the Second Generation Diva Tamina.

Rating: C-

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No versus The Ascension

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Team Hell No defeated The Ascension in 7:55 when Daniel Bryan defeated Conor O'Brian by submission with a Cattle Mutilation. The commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker use this match to discuss how vital the WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan will be to Randy Orton’s team at Survivor Series.

Match Rating: D

Rating: D+

Christian versus Wade Barrett

In an extremely short match, Wade Barrett defeated Christian in 2:44 by pinfall with The Wasteland. Layla accompanied Christian to ringside for this match but was unable to cheer her man to victory as Barrett picked up the win in his first match back since suffering a shoulder injury.

Match Rating: C+

The Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T comes to the ring to introduce the participants for tonight’s non-title main event as the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will go one on one with Damien Sandow.

Rating: B

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus versus Damien Sandow

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow in 7:37 by pinfall with a Celtic Cross. This match was too long given who was involved, as Sandow is still not very well known by the WWE Universe.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus Santino Marella and Zack Ryder

Tonight’s Monday Night RAW tag team main event will see the “Baddest Man on the Planet” Brock Lesnar in action on RAW for the first time in almost ten years as he teams with the WWE Champion CM Punk to take on the “Team CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. At the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month CM Punk will put his WWE Championship on the line in a Last Man Standing match against John Cena, and his tag team partner tonight Brock Lesnar will also be in action at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View as he will lead the team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, the dangerous Kassius Ohno, the “All American American” Jack Swagger as well as the powerhouse Tensai in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Chris Jericho and his team of Ryback, Mason Ryan, Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. As previously noted, tonight’s tag team main event will be the very first time that we have seen Lesnar compete on RAW in almost ten years, and it will also be Brock Lesnar’s first match since Summerslam back in August, when Lesnar defeated the Corporate Operations Officer of the WWE, “The Game” Triple H, in the process breaking Triple H’s arm. It is likely that Triple H will never wrestle again following the injury he suffered at the hands of Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, which has led to both Mr. McMahon and Stephanie McMahon in recent weeks telling Jericho and his team that they are fighting for the WWE itself at Survivor Series. Brock Lesnar seems to be aligned with the WWE Champion CM Punk sue to the associations that the pair both have with Paul Heyman, and Punk has defeated several of Lesnar’s opponents at Survivor Series in recent weeks on RAW in non-title main events. In fact, in Punk’s last five matches he has defeated all five members of Jericho’s team as he defeated Ryback at Hell in a Cell, defeated Jericho the next night on RAW, Mason Ryan the week after that, Punk defeated Santino two weeks ago on RAW and last week Punk defeated Zack Ryder, all in non-title main events apart from his victory over Ryback at Hell in a Cell, which was for the WWE Championship inside the Hell in a Cell structure.

US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno versus Brodus Clay and Alex Riley

The WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro will also be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will team with his Kings of Wrestling tag team partner to take on the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley. Cesaro and Ohno will also be partners at Survivor Series as they will join Tensai and Jack Swagger on Brock Lesnar’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback. Cesaro has been the United States Champion since the night of Summerslam back in August when he defeated the former Champion Santino Marella to become the new Champion for the very first time. Cesaro’s most recent title defence came at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View last month when he defeated Santino again to retain the title.

Ryback and Mason Ryan versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty

At the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month Ryback and Mason Ryan will join Santino Marella and Zack Ryder on Chris Jericho’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar and his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger. Tonight on Monday Night RAW Ryback and Mason Ryan will team up in tag team action to take on the team of JTG and Michael McGillicutty. Since suffering his first ever loss last month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View to CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match, Ryback has been victorious every week on RAW and will look to continue his winning streak in tag team action tonight.

John Cena versus Tensai

John Cena will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Tensai. At the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View Cena will challenge WWE Champion CM Punk for the WWE Championship in a Last Man Standing match, whilst Tensai will also be in action at Survivor Series as he will join Jack Swagger, Kassius Ohno and the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro on Brock Lesnar’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Chris Jericho and his team of Ryback, Mason Ryan, Santino Marella and Zack Ryder.

Chris Jericho versus Jack Swagger

At Survivor Series Chris Jericho will lead the team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar’s team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger. Tonight on Monday Night RAW the RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has put Jericho in action against one of his Survivor Series opponents as he will take on the former World Heavyweight Champion, the “All American American” Jack Swagger.

Kelly Kelly versus Kharma

Finally, the Divas will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as Kelly Kelly will take on Kharma. These two will be opponents at Survivor Series as Kelly will join Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox on Kaitlyn’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Kharma, Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Kharma.

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Breslin Events Center (MI), 16,280 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Richie Steamboat versus Tyler Reks

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Tyler Reks defeated Richie Steamboat in 17:55 by pinfall with a Burning Hammer. Norman Smiley accompanied Richie Steamboat to ringside.

Match Rating: E+

Following the loss of Richie Steamboat to Tyler Reks, the formidable Tyler Reks celebrates in the ring whilst Norman Smiley, the former WCW Superstar, goes into the ring to console Richie Steamboat. Tyler Reks then marches back over to Steamboat, however, and hits him with another Burning Hammer. Norman Smiley looks distressed at his client being assaulted as Reks heads to the back.

Rating: E

Pre-Show: The Road Dogg versus Curt Hawkins

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Curt Hawkins defeated The Road Dogg in 18:02 by pinfall with a Spiked DDT. The Road Dogg was visibly tiring towards the end of the match which ultimately led to Hawkins picking up the victory.

Match Rating: D

Before Monday Night RAW goes live on television the RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero comes to the entrance-way with a microphone. Vickie reminds the WWE Universe that RAW is her show so she should be shown some respect.

Rating: B-

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring. Punk is quick to retrieve a microphone and proclaim to the WWE Universe that at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month he will defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match to successfully retain his WWE Championship, in the process marking a year since Punk won the title at last year’s Survivor Series. Punk says that he is focused on retaining his title at Survivor Series whereas John Cena is more focused on getting AJ Lee her job back as General Manager of RAW from the current RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Punk announces that later tonight on RAW Cena will take on Tensai and will likely lose because his mind isn’t on the ring at the moment. CM Punk then says that he has big plans for tonight’s RAW tag team main event, and introduces his tag team partner, the “Baddest Man on the Planet” Brock Lesnar. Lesnar joins Punk in the ring and declares that in tonight’s tag team main event he will compete on RAW for the first time in almost ten years as he teams with the WWE Champion CM Punk for the very first time to take on the team of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. Lesnar says that at Survivor Series his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger will defeat Chris Jericho and his team of Santino, Ryder, Ryback and Mason Ryan in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Punk and Lesnar then shake hands before the pair head to the back together.

Rating: B

Kelly Kelly versus Kharma

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Kelly Kelly defeated Kharma in 7:37 by pinfall with a K2. These two Divas will be opponents again at Survivor Series as Kelly will be on Kaitlyn’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against the team captained by the Divas Champion Eve, which contains Kharma.

Match Rating: C-

After the match Kelly Kelly celebrates before Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero comes to the ring, Vickie takes a microphone and says that at Survivor Series the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Kharma, Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Aksana will defeat Kaitlyn and her team of Kelly, Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox. Beth Phoenix and Natalya then rush to the ring and the pair look like they are about to assault Kelly before AJ Lee rushes to the ring to make the save. Vickie, Beth and Natalya stare at Kelly and AJ from outside the ring as Kharma gets to her feet in the ring and has a stare down with Kelly.

Rating: C

US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno versus Brodus Clay and Alex Riley

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Brodus & Riley defeated Kings of Wrestling in 7:31 when Brodus Clay defeated Kassius Ohno by pinfall with a Big Splash. Despite losing this match, Cesaro and Ohno showed great chemistry when teaming together and that chemistry may well be vital to Team Lesnar at Survivor Series.

Match Rating: C

AJ Lee returns to the ring in a foul mood and says that she has had enough of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. John Cena then joins AJ in the ring and says that he knows she’s upset, but she has to go to the back. AJ seems angry but Cena says that arguing with Vickie won’t get her anywhere. Cena seems distracted with AJ before his match with Tensai later tonight, and it takes a while for him to eventually get her to leave the ring with him. Cena doesn’t seem to be focused on his match with CM Punk for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series.

Rating: C

Chris Jericho versus Jack Swagger

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Chris Jericho defeated Jack Swagger in 7:44 by submission with a Walls of Jericho. Chris Jericho seemed off his game tonight but was still able to pick up the victory in this one.

Match Rating: B-

We cut backstage to find Paul Heyman standing outside the locker-room of the WWE Champion CM Punk. Heyman looks into the camera and says that CM Punk and Brock Lesnar will win tonight’s Monday Night RAW tag team main event.

Rating: B

Ryback and Mason Ryan versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Mason Ryan and Ryback defeated JTG & McGillicutty in 7:47 when Ryback defeated JTG by pinfall with a Suplex Powerslam. Ryback seemed off his game tonight but was still able to pick up the all-important victory for his team here after pinning JTG following the Shellshock.

Match Rating: C-

Following Ryback and Mason Ryan’s victory the pair celebrate before the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger rush to the ring and assault Mason Ryan and Ryback. Vickie Guerrero comes to the ring and joins in the beat down, slapping Mason Ryan across the face until Chris Jericho rushes to the ring to aid his Survivor Series team mates. Trish Stratus also comes to the ring and she pushes Vickie to the mat. Vickie leaves the ring and heads to the back as do the Team Lesnar members, leaving Jericho and Trish to help Ryback and Mason Ryan to their feet.

Rating: C+

John Cena versus Tensai

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, John Cena defeated Tensai in 8:26 by pinfall with an Attitude Adjustment. The commentary team of JR, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler use this match to discuss Cena’s chances of winning the WWE Championship in the Last Man Standing match with CM Punk at Survivor Series.

Match Rating: B-

We cut backstage to find Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor in her office when Norman Smiley walks in. Smiley asks Vickie if his client Richie Steamboat can be given a try out match on RAW, and Vickie tells him to leave her office. Norman Smiley reluctantly leads leaving Vickie alone looking very angry.

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar defeated Team CoBro in 7:44 when CM Punk defeated Santino Marella by submission with an Anaconda Vice. This was Brock Lesnar’s first match on Monday Night RAW in almost ten years and the former WWE Champion showed glimpses of his great strength throughout the match.

Backstage Fallout: AJ Lee is seen backstage when Dean Ambrose walks up to her. Ambrose tells AJ that he’s glad that she’s no longer in charge of Monday Night RAW, and that Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero is doing a great job.
Tuesday, Week 2, November, 2012

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/1e/NXT_Wrestling.png

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:

Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus William Regal

Seth Rollins, the first ever NXT Champion and current NXT Champion, will be in action in tonight’s NXT non-title main event as he will take on the veteran from Blackpool, England, William Regal. Seth Rollins became the first ever NXT Champion back in August in the finals of the Gold Rush tournament to determine the first ever NXT Champion, defeating Jinder Mahal in the tournament final. Jinder Mahal can now be seen by the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown as a part of 3MB, the “Three Man Band” alongside Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. Upon winning the NXT Championship many months ago Seth Rollins was congratulated in the ring and handed the title by the NXT Commissioner, the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. The Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes clearly sees big things in the first ever NXT Champion Seth Rollins, and the NXT Universe are also regularly entertained by the athletic prowess that Rollins possesses. Rollins has made two successful defences of his NXT Championship thus far as in late September Rollins defeated the Third Generation Superstar Michael McGillicutty to make his first successful title defence and four weeks ago on NXT, back in the month of October, Rollins defeated William Regal, Percy Watson and Briley Pierce in a Fatal Four-Way match in NXT’s main event to successfully retain his title for the second time. Seth Rollins pinned Briley Pierce in the Fatal Four-Way match, and Rollins has been on a roll since then. Many believe that both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T are paying close attention to the progress of Seth Rollins, but Rollins has claimed that he will remain on NXT whilst he is the NXT Champion, and that he wants to become the greatest NXT Champion of all time. Three weeks ago on NXT Rollins defeated Briley Pierce for the second week in a row, this time in non-title action, and just two weeks ago on NXT Seth Rollins took on William Regal in the evening’s non-title main event in what was the first ever meeting between the pairing following a confrontation that Regal and Rollins had earlier in the evening, when Regal failed to show the NXT Champion Seth Rollins any respect. Rollins defeated Regal two weeks ago on NXT in what may have been the biggest victory of his young career so far, and Regal will no doubt be looking for revenge tonight. Just last week on NXT the show began with the NXT Champion Seth Rollins making his way to the ring and talking about how proud he is to be the NXT Champion until he was rudely interrupted by William Regal. Paige then joined Regal in the ring last week and supported him in his confrontation with Rollins, so it appears that there may be some sort of relationship ongoing between the fellow Brits in William Regal and Paige. Seth Rollins would once again defeat Briley Pierce in last week’s NXT non-title main event and will be hoping to defeat Regal tonight.

Derrick Bateman versus Alexander Rusev

The charismatic Derrick Bateman will also be in action tonight on NXT as he will take on a man being given his first opportunity to compete in front of the NXT Universe by the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes, Alexander Rusev. Not much is known about Alexander Rusev but he is Russian and is thought to be a big and powerful man. Derrick Bateman was once called the pound for pound strongest man in the WWE by the former ten-time WWE Champion John Cena so perhaps Bateman will be able to compete in the strength department with Rusev tonight on NXT. Derrick Bateman has experience in competing in front of the WWE Universe and knows that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T will be watching NXT tonight and a victory for Bateman may go a long way to earning him another opportunity to compete in the WWE. Derrick Bateman was last in action on NXT two weeks ago when he defeated Briley Pierce, who is the younger brother of Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. Briley Pierce has apparently picked up some of his older brother’s character traits, especially that of showing off as Pierce has often showed off in his matches thus far on NXT and his lackadaisical attitude may have led to him failing to win any of his matches thus far. Bateman looked impressive against Briley Pierce two weeks ago and will be hoping for more of the same tonight against the debuting Alexander Rusev.

Naomi versus Paige

Finally, the Divas will be action tonight on NXT as the athletic former professional dancer Naomi will take on the anti-Diva from Norwich, England, Paige. These two Divas have both impressed the NXT Universe as well as the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes, and Naomi has already got experience of appearing on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown as she used to be a member of the Funkadaktylls and would accompany Brodus Clay to ringside for his matches. Brodus Clay no longer has dancers accompany him to the ring as he is focused on his tag team with Alex Riley, and Naomi is training to compete in the ring. Last week on NXT the show began with the NXT Champion Seth Rollins making his way to the ring before he was interrupted by William Regal, and as the veteran has won over twenty Championships in the WWE Regal feels that he didn’t need to show Rollins any respect. Paige would then come to the ring in support of Regal, and it would appear that there is some sort of relationship ongoing between Regal and his fellow Brit Paige.

WWE NXT (Live from La Puntilla Arena (PR), 58 in Attendance)

Naomi versus Paige

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Paige defeated Naomi in 7:55 by pinfall with a Paige Turner. This week’s edition of NXT came to us live from Puerto Rico for the very first time, in front of a small but intimate NXT Universe at La Puntilla Arena. History was made tonight as it was the very first time that NXT was held outside of Florida, and the show began with the Divas in action as the anti-Diva from Norwich, England, took on Naomi in singles competition. Naomi is a former professional dancer and even had a stint as a cheerleader for the NBA franchise, the Orlando Magic. Naomi is an African American Diva and is best known for her time as a member of the Funkadaktylls, alongside Cameron, as the pair would accompany Brodus Clay to the ring and dance with him during his matches on Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown. For the past few months, however, Brodus Clay has decided that he does not want the Funkadaktylls to accompany him to the ring as he has instead chosen to focus on his tag team with Alex Riley. Naomi and Cameron therefore went their separate ways, and Naomi is now competing as a Diva as she trains to be an in-ring competitor on NXT. The NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes clearly sees potential in Naomi, and gave her another match tonight on NXT. Both Paige and Naomi were clearly looking to impress tonight in the hopes that either the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T would see the match and perhaps give them a future opportunity to perform in front of the WWE Universe on RAW or SmackDown. It was revealed last month that Paige was the Diva that attacked Kaitlyn at Night of Champions, as the Divas Champion Eve had hired Paige to carry out the attack by telling Paige that she would give her a contract on SmackDown as Eve was the assistant to General Manager Booker T at the time. Now that Eve is no longer a staff member on SmackDown it remains to be seen whether or not Paige will still be able to get a contract. Naomi showed great athleticism here but ultimately Paige picked up the all-important victory after hitting Naomi with the Paige Turner.

Match Rating: F+

Derrick Bateman versus Alexander Rusev

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Derrick Bateman defeated Alexander Rusev in 8:02 by pinfall with a Crossbody. Tonight’s second match on the first ever NXT episode to come live from Puerto Rico saw the charismatic Derrick Bateman in action against the debuting Alexander Rusev, performing for the first time in front of the NXT Universe. Not much is known about Rusev other than he is a big Russian, and he certainly showed his power and strength tonight against Bateman. The sole NXT announcer Byron Saxton commented several times throughout the match on the strength of Alexander Rusev as he threw Bateman around the ring. The NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes was likely impressed with the brute strength and power shown by Rusev tonight in his debut match against a man in Derrick Bateman who has some, if limited, experience of competing in front of the WWE Universe. Bateman has been competing on NXT for years now and knows that he has to keep stringing wins together if he is to get noticed by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Just two weeks ago on NXT Derrick Bateman defeated Briley Pierce, the younger brother of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, and Bateman eventually pulled off the victory over Rusev here tonight in Puerto Rico after hitting the Russian with a Crossbody from the top rope. However, Bateman’s victory did not tell the full story of the match as the majority of the match was spent by the big Russian Rusev using impressive throws and suplexes to assert his authority over Derrick Bateman, who is not a cruiserweight by any stretch of the imagination and was once called one of the strongest pound for pound competitors in the WWE by none other than the former ten-time WWE Champion John Cena.

Match Rating: E+

Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus William Regal

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, William Regal defeated Seth Rollins in 7:37 by pinfall with a Regal Plex. Tonight’s NXT non-title main event saw the NXT Champion Seth Rollins in action as he took on the veteran from Blackpool, England, William Regal. Seth Rollins became the first ever NXT Champion back in the Summer by winning the Gold Rush tournament to crown the first ever NXT Champion, defeating Jinder Mahal in the tournament final. Jinder Mahal is now of course competing on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown as part of 3MB, the Three Man Band, also involving Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. Whilst Mahal is competing in front of the WWE Universe, Rollins has promised the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes, who handed him the Championship belt after winning the Gold Rush tournament, that he wants to become the greatest NXT Champion of all time before moving to the WWE. Seth Rollins is highly respected by the NXT Universe and knows that as the NXT Champion he is being strictly monitored by both the RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Rollins has been highly successful since winning the NXT title and has thus far made two successful title defences, defeating Michael McGillicutty in late September to make his first title defence and last month defeating Regal, Percy Watson and Briley Pierce in a Fatal Four-Way match to make his second successful title defence. Rollins stumbled for the first time tonight on NXT however, as Regal picked up the victory in non-title action after hitting Rollins with the famous Regal Plex.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Sin Cara versus Johnny Curtis

Tonight’s main event on WWE Superstars will see the high-flying Mexican sensation known as Sin Cara in action as he will take on the highly eccentric and unique persona that is Johnny Curtis. Sin Cara has been wrestling as a singles competitor over the past month or so as his tag team with Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara’s mentor, has been put on hiatus due to a knee injury suffered by Mysterio in late September. Rey Mysterio suffered the knee injury, which was a recurrence of the several knee injuries that the former World Champion Mysterio has suffered throughout his career, in the finals of the Tag Team Championships Number One Contenders tournament on Monday Night RAW. Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio were taking on the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, collectively known as Team Rhodes Scholars, when the injury occurred, which ultimately led to Team Rhodes Scholars winning the finals of the tournament and going on to challenge Team Hell No, the team comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, for the WWE Tag Team Championships at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View last month. Regardless, Sin Cara has competed as a singles competitor for the majority of his career and has amazed the WWE Universe with his high-flying athleticism in his short time in the WWE. As for Sin Cara’s opponent tonight, Johnny Curtis has failed to set the WWE alight since winning NXT a few years ago when the show was still in the format of a competition. Johnny Curtis no doubt realises that a victory tonight over the highly rated Sin Cara will get the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T taking notice of him. Johnny Curtis is a little out there, and often tweets about how proud he is to be such a weird individual. Johnny Curtis is also seen as a ladies man by many, and if his recent tweets and touts are anything to go by then there is a blossoming romance occurring between Johnny Curtis and Aksana. Curtis should be careful, however, as Aksana has a little bit of a history as a man-eater in the WWE having had relationships with both Theodore Long and the United States Champion, Antonio Cesaro, since she arrived on the scene.

The Uso’s versus The Ascension

We will also see tag team action tonight on WWE Superstars as the dark and mysterious team of the Ascension will once again be in action against Jimmy and Jey Uso, the twin brothers known to the WWE Universe as the Uso’s. Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T has publically admitted in the past to have been a fan of the Uso’s, and Jimmy and Jey have been victorious for the past few weeks on WWE Superstars, picking up a few impressive victories over Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron, the duo known as the Ascension. Jimmy and Jey Uso will go into tonight’s match knowing that yet another victory over the young pairing of the Ascension may well get them noticed by not only Booker T, but also the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. During their time on NXT, the thoroughbred Conor O’Brian, a powerhouse, as well as the more methodical dark thinker Kenneth Cameron, a gentleman from England, ran rough shot over the NXT Universe with a string of impressive victories and performances. However, since debuting on WWE Superstars a few weeks ago, the Ascension have failed to pick up their first victory, and lost their first ever match on SmackDown last week as they were defeated by the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, the team comprised of the former World Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan, in non-title action. Kenneth Cameron and Conor O’Brian have plenty of potential and in particular their tag team manoeuvre, the Fall of Man, has received many plaudits for its devastating effect it can have on opponents as the larger Conor O’Brian runs at an opponent from behind, taking out their knees, whilst at the same time, simultaneously, Kenneth Cameron runs towards the opponent face on and hits them with a spinning heel kick. The Uso’s know that they will need to avoid the Fall of Man in order to pick up yet another victory tonight on WWE Superstars. The Uso’s have a great lineage being the twin sons of the legendary Superstar Rikishi as well as being the cousins of the former multiple time WWE Champion the Rock, and the Uso’s know that a victory tonight on WWE Superstars may go a long way into forging their own eventual legacies.

Alicia Fox versus Beth Phoenix

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see two former WWE Divas Champions in action as the beautiful and highly athletic Alicia Fox will take on the powerful “Glamazon” Beth Phoenix. These two Divas will be opponents again at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month as Alicia Fox will join Kelly Kelly, Tamina and Layla on Kaitlyn’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against the WWE Divas Champion Eve and her team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana. This is a rematch from last week’s edition of WWE Superstars when Alicia Fox defeated Beth Phoenix, and Beth Phoenix has been on a bit of a losing run recently after suffering three victories in a row last week on three consecutive episodes of Monday Night RAW to Kelly Kelly. These losses to Kelly especially irritated the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, who has had her issues with Kelly in recent weeks. The Divas Champion Eve has been dominant recently, stringing together a large number of victories on Friday Night SmackDown, and a victory for either of these Divas tonight may well put them in the title picture.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Layla defeated Tenille Tayla in 18:26 by pinfall with a Face Lift. This match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved, as the WWE Universe still do not know much about Tenille Tayla.

Match Rating: D+

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars plays the RAW rebound, in which the events from this past week’s Monday Night RAW are recapped. RAW began with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring. CM Punk proclaimed that at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month he will defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match to retain his WWE Championship, and that Punk is focused on the title match whereas John Cena seems distracted with his relationship with the former General Manager of RAW AJ Lee and trying to get her job back from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Brock Lesnar then joined CM Punk in the ring, and the pair seem to have formed an alliance in recent weeks due to both Punk and Lesnar being associated with Paul Heyman. Brock Lesnar said that at Survivor Series his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger will defeat Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Lesnar also announced that in RAW’s tag team main event he would be competing on RAW for the first time in almost ten years as the RAW main event would see CM Punk and Brock Lesnar team up for the very first time to take on the Team CoBro pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. Later on in the evening AJ Lee came to the ring and seemed furious with Vickie Guerrero following a confrontation that the pair had earlier, but John Cena came to the ring and tried to get AJ to leave the ring, and he admitted that he needed to focus not only on his title match with Punk at Survivor Series but also with his match with Tensai later on in the evening. Cena would then defeat Tensai in his first match on RAW for almost a month. Chris Jericho was also in action on RAW as he defeated one of his opponents at Survivor Series, Jack Swagger. Jericho would also come to the aid of his team mates Mason Ryan and Ryback later on in the evening following an assault from Team Lesnar members. In the evening’s main event, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar defeated Santino Marella and Zack Ryder.

Rating: B

Alicia Fox versus Beth Phoenix

In an extremely short match, Alicia Fox defeated Beth Phoenix in 3:02 by pinfall with a Watch Yo Face. Tamina accompanied Alicia Fox to ringside, and the pair will both be on Kaitlyn’s team at Survivor Series in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against the Divas Champion Eve’s team, which includes Beth Phoenix.

Match Rating: C

WWE Superstars shows highlights from last week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown as the show began with Alberto Del Rio coming to the ring, along with his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio claimed that his team of Team Rhodes Scholars, the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, the Miz as well as SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler will defeat Randy Orton’s team of the Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Daniel Bryan and Kane, as well as R-Truth in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match at Survivor Series. Orton then hit Del Rio with an RKO. A tweet is then shown from General Manager Booker T announcing tomorrow night’s SmackDown main event when Team Hell No will team with the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus in a six man tag team match against the Big Show and Team Rhodes Scholars.

Sin Cara versus Johnny Curtis

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Sin Cara defeated Johnny Curtis in 7:45 by pinfall with a La Mística. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Matt Striker and Joey Styles commented throughout tonight’s main event on the impressive moves of Sin Cara, who looked good tonight, picking up another victory.

Match Rating: C

Post-Show: Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus Hunico and Camacho

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Team CoBro defeated Hunico & Camacho in 13:03 when Santino Marella defeated Camacho by submission with a Cobra Clutch. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown!:

World Champ Sheamus & Tag Champs Hell No vs. Big Show & Rhodes Scholars

Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown main event was first announced earlier this week on Twitter by the SmackDown General Manager Booker T and will see the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus team with the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kane and Daniel Bryan, the team known as Team Hell No to take on the largest athlete in the World, the Big Show, and the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. The WWE Universe will be in for a treat with this main event as Sheamus teams up with the big red monster Kane as well as the man that Sheamus defeated in a record setting eighteen seconds back at Wrestlemania in April to become the World Heavyweight Champion for the very first time, Daniel Bryan. At the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month Sheamus will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against the Big Show in what will be their second ever singles match against one another after Sheamus defeated the Big Show in their first encounter last month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Team Hell No and Team Rhodes Scholars will also be opponents at Survivor Series as Kane and Daniel Bryan will join forces with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston as well as R-Truth on Randy Orton’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Alberto Del Rio and his team of Team Rhodes Scholars, the Miz and Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner, the “Show Off” Dolph Ziggler. The World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus has been on a roll as of late and since he defeated the Big Show at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View Sheamus has defeated a member of Team Del Rio on every episode of SmackDown in non-title main events, defeating Alberto Del Rio, the Miz, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in the past four weeks. Sheamus went through the entire month of October without losing a match and will be looking to continue his winning streak through the month of November leading up to his all-important title defence against the Big Show at Survivor Series. Will Sheamus be able to get on with Kane and Daniel Bryan in tonight’s main event though?

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Kofi Kingston © versus Wade Barrett

The WWE Intercontinental Championship will also be on the line tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as the reigning Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston will put his title on the line against the Englishman Wade Barrett. Kofi Kingston will be in action at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month as he will team with R-Truth as well as the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, the team comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, on Randy Orton’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Alberto Del Rio and his team of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow.

Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus The Ascension

Tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the high-flying tandem of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu in action as they will take on the team of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron, collectively known as the Ascension. O’Brian and Cameron were well known by the NXT Universe during their time on NXT but have yet to pick up a victory in front of the WWE Universe.

Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on the last ever graduate of the famous Hart Family Dungeon, Tyson Kidd. At Survivor Series Dolph Ziggler will join the Miz as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Randy Orton and his team of the WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan, collectively known as Team Hell No, as well as R-Truth and the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston.

R-Truth versus The Miz

At the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month R-Truth and the Miz will be opponents in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match as R-Truth will join the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston as well as the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, the team of Kane and Daniel Bryan, on Randy Orton’s team against Alberto Del Rio and his team of the Miz, Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. Before that, however, Truth will go one on one with the Miz tonight on SmackDown.

Match Rating: B-

Friday Night SmackDown begins with the “Viper” Randy Orton making his slow and methodical walk to the ring. Orton takes a microphone and proclaims that at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View later this month he and his team of the WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, will defeat Alberto Del Rio’s team of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz and the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez then comes to the ring and tells Orton that Del Rio’s team will win at Survivor Series and then continuously spouts Spanish at Orton before grabbing Orton’s legs when Del Rio slides into the ring after coming through the crowd and hitting Orton with a kick to the back of the head whilst Rodriguez is holding Orton’s legs. Del Rio and Rodriguez then mock Randy Orton by doing his signature pose on the turnbuckles before sneaking out of the ring and heading to the back as SmackDown cuts to a commercial break.

Rating: B+

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Eve versus Layla

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Eve defeated Layla in 7:55 by pinfall with a Swinging Neckbreaker. Layla was really off her game tonight which led to the Divas Champion Eve picking up the victory.

Match Rating: C+

Following Eve’s victory over Layla, the Divas Champion takes a microphone and declares that at Survivor Series her team of Aksana, Kharma, Beth Phoenix and Natalya will defeat Kaitlyn’s team of Layla, Kelly Kelly, Tamina and Alicia Fox in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Aksana then joins Eve in the ring and it appears as though the pair are about to assault Layla when Kaitlyn rushes to the ring. Aksana and Eve quickly flee the ring whilst Kaitlyn picks up the microphone and says that her team will win at Survivor Series due to the strength of Tamina and the athleticism of Alicia Fox. Eve and Aksana head to the back as Friday Night SmackDown cuts to a commercial break.

Rating: C-

Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus The Ascension

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Trent & Yoshi defeated The Ascension in 7:32 when Trent Barreta defeated Conor O'Brian by pinfall with a Gobstopper Knee. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker use this match to discuss the high-flying duo of Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu and the potential they have as a tag team.

Match Rating: D-

Friday Night SmackDown continues with Theodore Long, the assistant to the SmackDown General Manager Booker T, making his way to the entrance-way. Rating: C+

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Kofi Kingston © versus Wade Barrett

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Wade Barrett defeated Kofi Kingston in 8:03 by pinfall with The Wasteland. Wade Barrett wins the WWE Intercontinental title. Kofi Kingston and Wade Barrett have pretty good chemistry as opponents, and it lifted the match.

Match Rating: C+

We cut backstage to find Christian walking arm in arm with Layla when the pair bump into Alicia Fox. Alicia asks what’s going on with Christian and Layla, and Christian proudly announces that the pair are “going steady”. In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, The Miz defeated R-Truth in 8:16 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. World Champ Sheamus & Tag Champs Hell No vs. Big Show & Rhodes Scholars

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Sheamus and Team Hell No defeated The Big Show and Team Rhodes Scholars in a Six man Tag Team match in 12:03 when Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow by pinfall with a Brogue Kick. The WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan worked together better than usual in this match and were very aggressive against the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus John Cena and Chris Jericho

Tonight’s Monday Night RAW tag team main event will see the WWE Champion CM Punk team with the “Baddest Man on the Planet” Brock Lesnar for the second week in a row to take on the team of John Cena and Chris Jericho. This Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View CM Punk will put his WWE Championship on the line against John Cena in a Last Man Standing match, whilst Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho will also be opponents this Sunday at Survivor Series as Lesnar will lead the team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback. CM Punk has held the WWE Championship for almost a year, and Survivor Series this Sunday will mark the year anniversary of Punk winning the title as CM Punk defeated the former Champion Alberto Del Rio at last year’s Survivor Series Pay-Per-View to become the new WWE Champion for the third time. CM Punk has claimed that he is focused on retaining his WWE Championship this Sunday whereas John Cena seems a little preoccupied and distracted with his relationship with the former General Manager of Monday Night RAW AJ Lee. Cena has seemed more involved in attempting to get AJ’s job back from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero in recent weeks than focusing on his title match with Punk this Sunday at Survivor Series. Tonight will be the second time in as many weeks that Punk and Lesnar will have teamed together as in last week’s RAW tag team main event Punk and Lesnar teamed up for the very first time in what was Brock Lesnar’s first match on RAW in almost ten years to defeat the team of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder, the team that call themselves team “CoBro”. CM Punk and Brock Lesnar seem to have an alliance at the moment, likely fuelled by the associations that Punk and Lesnar both have with Paul Heyman. CM Punk went the entire month of October undefeated and would love to do the same in the month of November. Since defeating Ryback at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View last month inside the Hell in a Cell Punk has won RAW non-title main events against Chris Jericho, Mason Ryan, Santino Marella and Zack Ryder.

US Champion Antonio Cesaro & Kassius Ohno versus Santino Marella & Zack Ryder

The United States Champion Antonio Cesaro will also be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will team with his Kings of Wrestling tag team partner Kassius Ohno to take on the Team “CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. These two teams will also be opponents this Sunday at Survivor Series as Cesaro and Ohno will join Tensai and Jack Swagger on Brock Lesnar’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Chris Jericho’s team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty

More tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see two relatively newly formed tag teams in action as the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley will team up to take on the team of JTG and Michael McGillicutty. Neither Brodus Clay nor Alex Riley have held gold so far in their WWE careers, and neither as JTG. However, JTG’s tag team partner Michael McGillicutty is a former WWE Tag Team Champion having held the title over the summer two years ago with his then tag team partner David Otunga.

Ryback versus Tensai

This Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View Ryback and Tensai will be opponents as Ryback will join Santino Marella, Zack Ryder and Mason Ryan on Chris Jericho’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar and his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger. Before this Sunday, however, Ryback will take on Tensai in singles action tonight on Monday Night RAW. Ryback has only lost one match in his WWE career thus far, that being the Hell in a Cell WWE Championship match with CM Punk last month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View. Ryback will be hoping to gain yet another win tonight on RAW.

Mason Ryan versus Jack Swagger

The Welsh powerhouse Mason Ryan will also be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on the “All American American” and former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger. Ryan and Swagger will be opponents again this Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View as Ryan will join forces with Ryback, Santino Marella and Zack Ryder on Chris Jericho’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Brock Lesnar’s team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger.

Kelly Kelly versus Tenille Tayla

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see Kelly Kelly in action against the relative newcomer in Tenille Tayla. This Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View Kelly will join Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox on Kaitlyn’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana. The Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has had several confrontations with Kelly in recent weeks and will be hoping that Kelly will suffer her first loss in months tonight against Tenille Tayla.

Rating: D

Richie Steamboat versus Tyler Reks

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Tyler Reks defeated Richie Steamboat in 17:59 by pinfall with a Burning Hammer. Norman Smiley did some good work at ringside cheering Richie Steamboat on but that wasn’t enough to spur Steamboat to victory as Reks picked up the win.

Match Rating: E+

The Road Dogg versus Curt Hawkins

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Curt Hawkins defeated The Road Dogg in 18:12 by pinfall with a Spiked DDT. The Road Dogg was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which allowed Hawkins to pick up the win.

Match Rating: D

Before Monday Night RAW goes on the air the Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero makes her way to the entrance-way with a microphone in hand. Vickie reminds the WWE Universe that RAW is her show and as such they should never forget that she is in charge.

Rating: B-

Monday Night RAW begins with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring. Punk takes a microphone from the ringside area and proclaims that at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View this Sunday he will defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match to successfully retain his WWE Championship. Punk says that Cena is too focused on getting AJ Lee’s job back as General Manager from the Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero whereas Punk is focused on celebrating his year anniversary as WWE Champion by retaining his title. Punk also says that he will defeat John Cena later tonight in RAW’s tag team main event as Punk will team with Brock Lesnar to take on the team of John Cena and Chris Jericho. Brock Lesnar then joins Punk in the ring and declares that this Sunday his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger will defeat Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Lesnar and Punk then shake hands before heading to the back together.

Rating: B

Kelly Kelly versus Tenille Tayla

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Kelly Kelly defeated Tenille Tayla in 7:59 by pinfall with a K2. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler use this match to discuss the roll that Kelly is on as of late and how important she will be on Kaityn’s team in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match this Sunday.

Match Rating: D

Following Kelly Kelly’s victory the beautiful Diva takes a microphone and proclaims that this Sunday at Survivor Series Kaitlyn’s team of Kelly, Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox will defeat the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Aksana, Kharma, Beth Phoenix and Natalya in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. The Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero then comes to the ring flanked by Beth Phoenix and Natalya and says that Eve’s team will win this Sunday. Beth Phoenix and Natalya then assault Kelly until AJ Lee rushes to the ring to make the save. Vickie, Beth and Natalya flee the ring and Kharma comes to join them on the entrance-way. Kharma stares down AJ and Kelly in the ring as RAW heads to a commercial break.

Rating: C

US Champion Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno vs. Santino Marella and Zack Ryder

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Kings Of Wrestling defeated Team CoBro in 7:48 when Antonio Cesaro defeated Zack Ryder by pinfall with a K.R.S. O.N.E. Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno have great chemistry as tag team partners when teaming together and they will be hoping that they can use that chemistry to their advantage again this Sunday at Survivor Series on Team Lesnar.

Match Rating: C+

We cut backstage to find Paul Heyman standing outside the locker-room of the WWE Champion CM Punk. Heyman says that this Sunday at Survivor Series Punk will defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match to retain the WWE Championship, and that Punk and Brock Lesnar will also win tonight’s Monday Night RAW tag team main event against Cena and Chris Jericho.

Rating: B

Mason Ryan versus Jack Swagger

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Jack Swagger defeated Mason Ryan in 8:01 by pinfall with a Red, White and Blue Thunder Bomb. The Welsh powerhouse Mason Ryan was really off his game tonight which allowed Swagger to pick up the victory.

Match Rating: C+

We cut backstage to find Chris Jericho taking to his love interest Trish Stratus. Trish warns Jericho to be careful in tonight’s Monday Night RAW tag team main event when he teams with John Cena to take on the WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar. Jericho says that he is the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla and is always careful, and the pair hug as RAW cuts to a commercial break.

Rating: C+

Ryback versus Tensai

In a match that had some good action and a good crowd, Ryback defeated Tensai in 8:29 by pinfall with a Suplex Powerslam. Tensai is improving his performance skills but was still unable to pick up the win here against the almost unstoppable Ryback.

Match Rating: B-

We cut backstage to find John Cena talking to AJ Lee. AJ says that she is fed up with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, but Cena stops her and says that he really has to focus on tonight’s tag team main event when he teams with Chris Jericho to take on the WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar. AJ says fine, and storms off, leaving Cena looking confused.

Rating: C-

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Brodus & Riley defeated JTG & McGillicutty in 8:17 when Brodus Clay defeated Michael McGillicutty by pinfall with a Big Splash. Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler note on commentary that Brodus and Riley have looked really good since teaming together and could deserve a shot at the tag team titles, but Michael Cole is still unconvinced.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero’s office where she is talking to Chavo Guerrero. Chavo thanks Vickie for rehiring him, and leaves the office with a smile on his face as RAW cuts to a commercial break.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:

NXT Championship: Seth Rollins © versus Conor O’Brian

Tonight’s NXT main event will see the first ever NXT Champion Seth Rollins put the NXT Championship on the line against the Ascension member, Conor O’Brian. Seth Rollins is the first ever NXT Champion since winning the title back in the Summer by winning the Gold Rush tournament, defeating Jinder Mahal in the tournament finals to become the new Champion. Since then, Rollins has gone on to become the face of NXT and is exceptionally popular with the NXT Universe. Jinder Mahal, on the other hand, went on to form the three man band group 3MB along with Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre and the trio can now be seen in front of the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. Upon winning the NXT Championship in the summer, Rollins was presented with the NXT Championship belt by WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, the “American Dream”, who is the Commissioner of NXT. Rhodes has gone on to support Seth Rollins, and the lover of dark grunge Rollins has made two successful title defences thus far. In the main event of an episode of NXT in late September Rollins defeated the third generation Superstar Michael McGillicutty to make his first title defence and last month on NXT Rollins defeated the veteran William Regal, the athletic Percy Watson as well as the show off Briley Pierce in a Fatal Four-Way main event o make the second successful defence of his title. Tonight Seth Rollins will put his NXT Championship on the line for the third time against Conor O’Brian, who along with the English Kenneth Cameron forms the Ascension. O’Brian has already likely been noticed by both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the SmackDown General Manager Booker T in recent weeks as the Ascension have competed on several episodes of both Superstars and SmackDown. However, the Ascension are yet to pick up their first victory in the WWE and Kenneth Cameron will likely be supporting O’Brian tonight as the powerhouse looks to become the new NXT Champion for the very first time. Two weeks ago on NXT Seth Rollins defeated Briley Pierce in the evening’s non-title main event but earlier on in that evening he had a confrontation with William Regal, when Regal refused to show Rollins any respect. The English anti-Diva from Norwich, Paige, also showed support to William Regal two weeks ago on NXT and it appears that Regal has his sights on the NXT Championship and whoever leaves tonight as the NXT Champion. Just last week on NXT Seth Rollins suffered his first loss in several months when William Regal defeated him in the evening’s non-title main event. Seth Rollins may be lacking confidence after his defeat at the hands of William Regal last week on NXT, but Rollins needs to focus on tonight’s match. Conor O’Brian is a big individual and it has been shown in the past on NXT that the Ascension doesn’t have a conscience. O’Brian would love nothing more than to take Rollins’ title away from him.

Derrick Bateman versus William Regal

The man who has won over twenty Championships in the WWE in front of the WWE Universe, William Regal, will also be in action tonight as the crafty veteran from Blackpool, England, will take on the charismatic Derrick Bateman. Derrick Bateman is popular among the NXT Universe and has been appearing on NXT more often in recent weeks, and it appears that the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes may think highly of Bateman. Derrick Bateman knows that he needs to impress against William Regal in order to get himself noticed by both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Two weeks ago on NXT the NXT Champion Seth Rollins began the show by coming to the ring and claiming that he wants to be the greatest NXT Champion in history, but was interrupted by William Regal who claimed to show Rollins no respect. Regal was then supported in the ring by Paige, and it seems that some sort of relationship has developed between the two. Regal lost his match to Xavier Woods that night but last week on NXT Regal was able to defeat Seth Rollins in the evening’s non-title main event. Another victory for Regal tonight will go a long way into earning himself a future title opportunity.

Percy Watson versus Bray Wyatt

The athletic Percy Watson, always a fan favourite with the NXT Universe, will also be in action tonight on NXT as he will take on the mysterious Bray Wyatt. Percy Watson has been on the scene in NXT for several years now and would love nothing more than the chance to take a step up and compete in front of the WWE Universe. Watson knows that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T are always paying close attention to NXT and that wins and losses are very important. Percy Watson, as well as Bray Wyatt, knows that impressing in their NXT matches will lead to the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes giving them more matches on NXT. This will be Bray Wyatt’s first match on NXT in almost a month since he lost a main event match to Xavier Woods. Similarly, Percy Watson hasn’t competed on NXT since he lost a main event Fatal Four-Way match for the NXT Championship over a month ago. Both Watson and Wyatt know that it may be some time before he we see them again if they are unable to get a victory tonight.

Caylee Turner versus Sexy Star

Finally, Divas action tonight on NXT will see Caylee Turner in action against debutant Sexy Star. Caylee Turner is the younger sister of WWE Diva Alicia Fox, the former Divas Champion who can often be seen on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. Caylee would love to follow in her sister’s footsteps and a win tonight may well get her noticed.

Quick Picks:

NXT Championship: Seth Rollins © versus Conor O’Brian

Derrick Bateman versus William Regal

Percy Watson versus Bray Wyatt

WWE NXT (Live from Carter Gymnasium (NC), 856 in Attendance)

This week’s edition of NXT begins with the feisty Diva known as Maxine making her way to the ring. Once in the ring Maxine is quick to retrieve a microphone and is receiving several boos from the NXT Universe in attendance in the Carter Gymnasium, where this week’s episode of NXT is coming from. Maxine says that two weeks ago on NXT she defeated Caylee Turner in singles competition, yet Maxine is not competing on tonight’s show. Maxine says that it is unfair and unjust that Caylee Turner is being given a match later tonight against NXT newcomer Sexy Star when Maxine defeated Caylee two weeks ago. Maxine says that the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes is unfairly giving Caylee the match against Sexy Star, likely because Caylee is the younger Sister of WWE Diva Alicia Fox, who can often be seen entertaining the WWE Universe on Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown. Maxine says that Dusty Rhodes may be a WWE Hall of Famer, but that the “American Dream” knows nothing when it comes to talent in the Divas division. Maxine continues that she has been on NXT for years now, and has never been given an opportunity to compete on either RAW or SmackDown. Maxine says that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero is likely afraid of Maxine and jealous of her good looks and beauty, whereas SmackDown General Manager Booker T is probably worried that Maxine will cause unrest in the SmackDown locker-room. Maxine says that she knows that she has history as a man eater, and many people think she’s a bitch, but all Maxine wants to do is compete. Maxine says that she is done with men, and will only go back to a man if she thinks she can get something in return to further her career. Maxine says that she was engaged to both Derrick Bateman and Johnny Curtis but neither relationship did anything for her career. The mysterious Bray Wyatt then comes to the ring and Maxine immediately looks disgusted at the sight of Wyatt, with his unkempt beard and his unwashed hair. Maxine asks Wyatt what he wants, and Bray Wyatt replies that she should follow him into the light. Bray Wyatt says that he and his family can help Maxine on the path to beauty, riches and righteousness. Wyatt takes Maxine’s hand and says that soon she’ll see, everyone will see, that the Wyatt way is the right way, and it’s the only way. Wyatt says that the road to glory begins with Wyatt and ends with Wyatt and that if Maxine will only join him on the journey to forgiveness then great riches and success will follow her. Wyatt tells Maxine that what he’s saying right now may not mean all too much to Maxine, but that he has others. Wyatt says that he has a family of followers and they are all following the path to righteousness, and are completing the steps needed to seek forgiveness and glory. Maxine takes her hand away from Wyatt and tells him to stop speaking in riddles. Wyatt then tells Maxine that perhaps she is not ready yet, but to watch what Wyatt does later tonight on NXT in his match with Percy Watson. Wyatt then heads to the back leaving Maxine looking confused.

Rating: D+

Caylee Turner versus Sexy Star

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Caylee Turner defeated Sexy Star in 7:59 by pinfall with a Superkick. Tonight was Sexy Star’s debut on NXT and she failed to impress the NXT Universe against Caylee Turner, who is the younger sister of WWE Diva Alicia Fox, who can often be seen competing in front of the WWE Universe on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. Ultimately Caylee picked up the victory here with a Superkick.

Match Rating: E-

Following a commercial break NXT cuts backstage to find the veteran from Blackpool, England, William Regal walking down the hallway. William Regal bumps into the NXT Champion Seth Rollins, who is proudly holding his NXT Championship belt. Regal tells Rollins that he has been looking for him, and reminds Rollins that Regal defeated him in last week’s NXT non-title main event. Regal claims that the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes knows that Regal is the most talented competitor on NXT, and it won’t be long until he receives a shot at the NXT Championship. Regal says that later tonight he’ll beat the idiot known as Derrick Bateman and then he will be watching tonight’s NXT Championship main event very closely. Regal warns Rollins that he’ll be coming for the winner of tonight’s main event. Rollins responds by saying that he’s seen Regal performing in front of the WWE Universe on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown, he’s grown up watching Regal. Rollins says that he knows he’s always being watched by both the RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the SmackDown General Manager Booker T, and when the time comes he’ll set the WWE on fire. Rollins says that until then, nothing is stopping him from holding onto his NXT title. Rollins then walks away from Regal as the camera cuts back to ringside for the next match.

Rating: C+

Percy Watson versus Bray Wyatt

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Percy Watson defeated Bray Wyatt in 8:12 by pinfall with a Crossbody. Bray Wyatt told Maxine earlier tonight on NXT to watch his match with Percy Watson tonight, and Wyatt did dominate for large portions of the match but failed to pick up the win as Watson hit Wyatt with a Crossbody to pick up the all-important victory.

Match Rating: D+

Derrick Bateman versus William Regal

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Derrick Bateman defeated William Regal in 8:01 by pinfall with a DDT. Regal claimed that he would defeat Bateman earlier tonight on NXT but was unable to do so.

Match Rating: C

NXT Championship: Seth Rollins © versus Conor O’Brian

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Seth Rollins defeated Conor O’Brian in 7:59 by pinfall with a Blackout. Seth Rollins makes defence number three of his NXT Championship.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5e/WWE_Superstars_logo.png

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Sin Cara versus Johnny Curtis

Tonight’s main event on WWE Superstars will see the high-flying Mexican sensation Sin Cara in action as he will take on the somewhat unorthodox and weird Johnny Curtis. Sin Cara has been competing as a singles competitor for the past few months due to his tag team partner and mentor Rey Mysterio picking up a knee injury back in late September in the finals of the tag team tournament to crown Number One Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships. The Finals of the Number One Contenders Tournament saw Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara take on the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow on RAW, and during the match Mysterio aggravated a knee injury that he had previously carried in the past, and has such as been out injured for the past number of months. Rhodes and Sandow went on to win the Number One Contenders tournament by defeating Mysterio and Sin Cara, perhaps due to Rey’s injury, but failed to win the WWE Tag Team Championships from Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, at last month’s Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View. It is thought that Mysterio won’t be back in action, mesmerising the WWE Universe as only he can, until December therefore Sin Cara has been competing in singles matches for the past few months. Sin Cara, however, was a singles competitor for the majority of his career in Mexico as well as for the first year of his WWE career and has been performing excellently since Rey got injured. Sin Cara won every single match he competed in during the month of October and has so far has an equally winning start to November, as two weeks ago Sin Cara defeated 3MB member Jinder Mahal in the main event of Superstars, and just last week Sin Cara defeated his opponent tonight, Johnny Curtis, in the main event of WWE Superstars. Sin Cara will be hoping that he can gain yet another victory over Johnny Curtis tonight and that his victories on Superstars will lead to the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T or the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero giving him an opportunity to perform on their shows. Johnny Curtis, on the other hand, has yet to set WWE on fire since debuting but knows that a win over Sin Cara tonight will lead to people noticing him.

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus The Ascension

Tag team action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the “Cape town Werewolf” from South Africa Justin Gabriel return to action following a serious shoulder injury that kept him from performing in front of the WWE Universe for a number of months as he teams with the last ever graduate of the famed Hart Family Dungeon Tyson Kidd to take on the team of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron, known as the Ascension. The powerhouse Conor O’Brian and the speedy Englishman Kenneth Cameron impressed many during their time on NXT and the NXT Universe were taken away by their dark personas and dominating in-ring performances. In particular, the finishing manoeuvre that the Ascension likes to implement in their matches, known as the Fall of Man, is particularly devastating. The Fall of Man sees Conor O’Brian run at the opponent from behind and take out their knees with a chop block whilst the faster Kenneth Cameron simultaneously runs at the opponent from head on and hits them with a spinning wheel kick. The Ascension won the majority of their matches on NXT with the Fall of Man but the pair has yet to pick up a victory in the WWE. Two weeks ago on Superstars the Ascension lost to the twin brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso, collectively known as the Uso’s, and just last week on Superstars the Uso’s picked up another all-important victory over the Ascension. Two weeks ago on Friday Night SmackDown the General Manager Booker T gave the Ascension their first match on SmackDown but it was a tough one as they faced the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, but lost. Just last week on SmackDown the Ascension were in action again, this time losing to the high-flying duo of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu. Can the Ascension finally pick up their first win in months tonight on Superstars?

Layla versus Beth Phoenix

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see two former WWE Divas Champions in action as Layla will take on the “Glamazon” Beth Phoenix. These two Divas will be opponents again this Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View as Layla will team with Kelly Kelly, Tamina and Alicia Fox on Kaitlyn’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against the reigning WWE Divas Champion Eve and her team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana. Both Layla and Beth Phoenix have held the Divas title before and Layla held the title from April of this year to September when she lost the title to Eve at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. Beth Phoenix’s only reign as Divas Champion came when she won the title last October and continued until she lost the title back in April. Beth Phoenix has been on a spectacular losing streak as of late having lost every match that she competed in during the month of October and thus far losing all of her matches in November. Two weeks ago on Superstars Beth Phoenix lost to Alicia Fox, and then Alicia Fox defeated Beth again just last week on Superstars. Beth will be hoping that she can pick up a much needed victory against Layla tonight. The Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has especially been unhappy with Beth as of late due to her failing to defeat Kelly Kelly on a number of occasions, who Vickie has had her problems with in recent weeks.

Quick Picks:

Sin Cara versus Johnny Curtis

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus The Ascension

WWE Superstars (Live from Pontchartrain Center (LA), 3,061 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Alicia Fox versus Emma

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Alicia Fox defeated Emma in 17:56 by pinfall with a Watch Yo Face. The Australian Diva Emma has been wrestling under the name of Tenille Tayla on Monday Night RAW recently but will be known as Emma from now on. Tamina accompanied Alicia Fox to ringside for this one, and gave Alicia the moral support needed to pick up the all-important victory.

Match Rating: D-

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Hunico and Camacho

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Trent & Yoshi defeated Hunico & Camacho in 17:38 when Trent Barreta defeated Camacho by pinfall with a Gobstopper Knee. This match was too long given who was involved, as Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu, although they have been teaming for a number of weeks now, are still not very well known by the WWE Universe. Barreta and Yoshi picked up the win here after Barreta pinned Camacho.

Match Rating: D

Pre-Show: Richie Steamboat versus Leo Kruger

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Richie Steamboat defeated Leo Kruger in 17:32 by pinfall with a Roll Up. Richie Steamboat’s manager Norman Smiley, the WCW legend, accompanied his client Steamboat to ringside and gave vocal support to Richie throughout the match, which helped Steamboat to victory.

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus The Ascension

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd defeated The Ascension in 7:43 when Tyson Kidd defeated Kenneth Cameron by pinfall with a 450 Splash. Alicia Fox accompanied Gabriel and Kidd to ringside for this match and although Tyson Kidd seemed pleased with the presence of Alicia at ringside Justin Gabriel did not look comfortable with it. Still, Gabriel and Kidd picked up the win in this one after Tyson pinned Kenneth Cameron following a 450 Splash from Justin Gabriel.

Match Rating: D

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars shows the RAW rebound, which recaps events from this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. This week’s RAW began with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring. Punk proclaimed that this Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View he will defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match to successfully retain his WWE Championship. Punk said that he knows that Cena is popular with the WWE Universe, but that Cena is not focused on the title match; he is too focused on AJ Lee and trying to get her job back as General Manager of RAW from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Brock Lesnar then joined CM Punk in the ring, and it still appears that the two are aligned due to the association that both men have with Paul Heyman. Lesnar claimed that at Survivor Series this Sunday his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger will defeat Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Lesnar also announced that RAW’s tag team main event would see the WWE Champion CM Punk team with Brock Lesnar for the second week in a row to take on the team of John Cena and Chris Jericho. Later on in the evening Chris Jericho was seen flirting with Trish Stratus backstage, and it appears that there is certainly a relationship at least beginning to form between Y2J and the beautiful Trish Stratus. Trish warned Jericho to be careful in the evening’s tag team main event as Brock Lesnar is a dangerous man. Jericho told Trish that he is always careful. AJ Lee and John Cena, another pair of hopeless romances, were also having a conversation backstage later in the evening when AJ Lee seemed furious at Vickie Guerrero following a confrontation the pair had earlier in the evening. Cena told AJ that he needed to focus on the tag team main event and his title match with Punk this Sunday, to which AJ seemed angry. In the evening’s main event Punk and Lesnar defeated Cena and Jericho.

Rating: B

Layla versus Beth Phoenix

In an extremely short match, Layla defeated Beth Phoenix in 2:37 by pinfall with a Face Lift. Natalya accompanied Beth Phoenix to ringside for this one, as the pair will be partners again this Sunday when they join Aksana and Kharma on the Divas Champion Eve’s team in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. However, Natalya’s presence at ringside was not enough to lead Beth to victory here.

Match Rating: C

We see highlights from last week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown when the show began with Randy Orton making his way to the ring. Orton claimed that at Survivor Series his team of Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, will defeat Alberto Del Rio and his team of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz and the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez then came to the ring and distracted Orton for long enough that Del Rio could assault Orton with a kick to the back of the head. Also last week on SmackDown Wade Barrett defeated Kofi Kingston to become the new Intercontinental Champion, ending Kingston’s reign. A tweet from Booker T is then shown announcing that tomorrow night’s SmackDown main event will see the World Champion Sheamus take on Wade Barrett in a non-title Champion versus Champion match.

Rating: B

Sin Cara versus Johnny Curtis

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Sin Cara defeated Johnny Curtis in 8:19 by pinfall with a La Mística. The Superstars announce team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker praised the impressive performance of Sin Cara throughout tonight’s main event.

Match Rating: C

Post-Show: The Uso’s versus The Prime Time Players

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Prime Time Players defeated The Uso's in 12:44 when Darren Young defeated Jimmy Uso by pinfall with a Clash of the Titus. Jey Uso was really off his game tonight and his twin brother Jimmy didn’t fair much better as he was pinned by Darren Young following Titus hitting Jimmy with the Clash of the Titus.

Match Rating: D-

Post-Show: Mason Ryan versus Corey Graves

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Mason Ryan defeated Corey Graves in 12:51 by pinfall with a Batista Bomb. This was a good win for Mason Ryan heading into Survivor Series this Sunday, when he will be on Team Jericho.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown!:

Champ vs. Champ: Non-Title: World Champ Sheamus vs. IC Champ Wade Barrett

This Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against the Big Show, whilst the new WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett will also be putting his Intercontinental Championship on the line this Sunday at Survivor Series against the former multiple time Intercontinental Champion, “Captain Charisma” himself, Christian. However, before Sheamus and Wade Barrett have their title defences this Sunday at Survivor Series, they must first face one another in tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown non-title Champion versus Champion main event. This match was announced earlier in the week on Twitter by a tweet sent out by the SmackDown General Manager Booker T and is sure to be a tremendous match between two of Britain’s finest as Dublin, Ireland’s Sheamus faces off against the former bare-knuckle fighting Champion from Preston, England, in Wade Barrett. The “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus has had a fantastic year, from winning the Royal Rumble match back in January, in the process defeating twenty-nine other WWE Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown, to winning the World Heavyweight Championship for the very first time by defeating the former World Champion Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania at the beginning of April in a record-setting eighteen seconds. The most recent title defence that Sheamus encountered was at last month’s Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View, when Sheamus went one on one with the largest athlete in the World, the Big Show, for the very first time. Sheamus was able to defeat the Big Show at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View but must put his title on the line against the former World Champion the Big Show once again this Sunday at Survivor Series. Sheamus has been on a roll since defeating the Big Show at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View, and since then he has defeated Alberto Del Rio, the Miz, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in successive Friday Night SmackDown non-title main events. Sheamus won every single match that he was involved in during the month of October and just last week Sheamus continued his winning start to November as he teamed with the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No to defeat the Big Show and Team Rhodes Scholars. Sheamus will be looking for another victory tonight.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No versus The Ascension

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, will be in non-title action as they will take on the dark and mysterious team of the Ascension, the team of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron. This Sunday at Survivor Series Team Hell No will join Kofi Kingston and R-Truth on Randy Orton’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Alberto Del Rio and his team of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz, as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes. Team Hell No last defended their titles at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View when they defeated Team Rhodes Scholars and since then Team Hell No have won every single match that they have been involved in.

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus Team Rhodes Scholars

More tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the high-flying tandem of Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd in action against the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. This Sunday at Survivor Series Team Rhodes Scholars will join the Miz and SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Randy Orton and his team of R-Truth, Kofi Kingston and the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan.

Kofi Kingston vs. Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler

This Sunday at Survivor Series Kofi Kingston and Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler will be opponents as Kingston will join R-Truth and the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, on Randy Orton’s team in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Alberto Del Rio’s team of Ziggler, the Miz as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. Before Survivor Series, however, Kingston and Ziggler will be opponents tonight on SmackDown. Kingston will likely be in a bad mood tonight as just last week on SmackDown he lost his Intercontinental Championship to Wade Barrett.

R-Truth versus The Miz

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown the unpredictable and eccentric R-Truth will be in action against the self-proclaimed must see Superstar in WWE history. This Sunday at Survivor Series Truth and the Miz will be opponents again as R-Truth will join Kofi Kingston as well as the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Alberto Del Rio and his team of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Eve versus Alicia Fox

Finally, the Divas Champion Eve will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown against a former Divas Champion in Alicia Fox, in non-title action. This Sunday Eve will lead a team of Kharma, Aksana, Beth Phoenix and Natalya in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Kaitlyn’s team of Alicia, Kelly Kelly, Layla and Tamina.

Friday Night SmackDown begins with Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, standing in the ring holding a microphone. Rodriguez is quick to announce and introduce his employer Alberto Del Rio, and Del Rio slowly makes his way to the ring. Once in the ring Rodriguez passes Del Rio the microphone and the Mexican Aristocrat Del Rio claims that this Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View his team of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow will defeat Randy Orton and his team of the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, as well as Kofi Kingston and R-Truth in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Del Rio says that once his team wins this Sunday the SmackDown General Manager Booker T will be forced to give him a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Orton’s music then hits and the Viper slowly makes his way to the ring. Orton proclaims that his team will win this Sunday, and Del Rio then pushes Rodriguez into Orton. However, Orton pushes Rodriguez out of his way and strikes Del Rio with a sudden RKO. Kaitlyn and Layla then come to the ring to confront Eve before Aksana sneaks into the ring and Eve and Aksana assault Kaitlyn and Layla until Tamina finally gets Alicia to her feet and the pair make the save. In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Team Rhodes Scholars defeated Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd in 6:30 when Cody Rhodes defeated Tyson Kidd by pinfall with a Cross Rhodes. Tamina remained at ringside for this match to support the team of Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd, and it appears that there may be some sort of relationship formed between Gabriel and Tamina. However, Tamina’s presence was unable to lead her team to victory as Cody Rhodes pinned Kidd to win the match for his team.

Match Rating: C

The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s WWE Survivor Series Pay-Per-View:

WWE Championship: Last Man Standing Match: CM Punk © versus John Cena

Tonight’s main event at Survivor Series will see the prestigious WWE Championship on the line as CM Punk looks to mark the one year anniversary of his title reign with a successful defence of his WWE Championship against the former ten-time WWE Champion John Cena in a Last Man Standing match. CM Punk won the WWE Championship from Alberto Del Rio at last year’s Survivor Series Pay-Per-View and since then has gone on to hold the title for an entire year, making landmark title defences along the way including against Dolph Ziggler at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View in January, at Wrestlemania in early April against Chris Jericho, at Summerslam in a Triple Threat match against both John Cena and the Big Show and most recently defeating Ryback just last month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View inside the Hell in a Cell. Both CM Punk and his associate Paul Heyman claim that Punk is fully focused on retaining the WWE Championship tonight, and Punk has been victorious on every episode of Monday Night RAW in the main event for the past eight weeks. John Cena, on the other hand, has seemed a little distracted as of late with trying to help his love interest AJ Lee get her job back as General Manager of Monday Night RAW from the current RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. The WWE Universe will likely be behind John Cena in this one, can he focus tonight on the match? If Cena is able to keep Punk down for the count of ten in what is sure to be a vicious Last Man Standing match, where anything is legal, then Cena will be the new WWE Champion for the first time since October of 2011. If Punk is able to retain the WWE Championship, however, then with his new alliance with Brock Lesnar, who knows how long it might be until CM Punk finally loses the title that he has held for so long.

World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus © versus The Big Show

The World Heavyweight Championship will also be on the line tonight at Survivor Series as Sheamus will put the title on the line for the second time against the largest athlete in the World, the Big Show. Last month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View Sheamus faced the Big Show for the first time ever and was able to defeat the Giant to retain the World Heavyweight Championship that Sheamus has held since Wrestlemania back in early April. The WWE Universe was astounded by the Celtic Warrior’s victory but tonight the Big Show will receive another opportunity against Sheamus. The World Champion Sheamus has been dominant as of late, winning in the main event of Friday Night SmackDown for almost two months now, whilst the Big Show may be more fresh heading into tonight’s match as he has only wrestled two matches since the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View. These two have been kept apart physically ahead of this match, only meeting once since the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View in six-man tag team action.

Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Jericho versus Team Lesnar

A Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match tonight at Survivor Series will see Brock Lesnar lead a team of the WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger against Chris Jericho and his team of the “Milan Miracle” Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback. Last month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View both Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho made their returns to the WWE on the same night, and Jericho was ready and willing to fight Lesnar, a proposal that Lesnar walked away from despite the WWE Universe clearly wanting to see the two go at it. Tonight they will both lead teams in what is sure to be a great match. Brock Lesnar seems to be aligned with both Paul Heyman as well as the WWE Champion CM Punk so certainly has power around him, and has won both of his matches that he has competed in on Monday Night RAW since returning, both in main events of RAW with CM Punk as his partner.

Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Orton versus Team Del Rio

Another Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match tonight at Survivor Series will see Randy Orton and his team of Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and the WWE Tag Team Champions Teem Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan take on Alberto Del Rio and his team of the Friday Night SmackDown Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. Last month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View Randy Orton, the former three-time World Heavyweight Champion, defeating Alberto Del Rio in singles competition. Since then, Orton and Del Rio have been attacking one another on SmackDown with Del Rio and is personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez coming up with ways to try and get the better of the “Viper”, but Orton fighting back just as much. What team will be victorious tonight?

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett © versus Christian

Two weeks ago on Friday Night SmackDown Wade Barrett defeated Kofi Kingston to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion for the second time, and tonight Barrett will look to make his first title defence as he puts the title on the line against the former three-time Intercontinental Champion Christian.
