The glass shatters and the WWE Universe goes wild as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin makes his way to the ring. Austin says that he hasn’t forgotten last month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View when the WWE Champion CM Punk slapped him in the face. CM Punk then comes to the ring and the pair stare at one another before Punk once again slaps Austin across the face before fleeing the ring. Austin looks furious.

This Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match saw Kaitlyn’s team of Kelly Kelly, Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox take on the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Kharma, Aksana, Beth Phoenix and Natalya. Aksana was first eliminated by Kaitlyn before Tamina was eliminated by Natalya, who seemed to be working through an injury. Kaitlyn was then eliminated by Eve before Eve also pinned Layla. Alicia then pinned Beth Phoenix before Alicia was eliminated by Eve. This left Kelly against Eve, Kharma and Natalya. Kelly managed to eliminate both Kharma and Natalya before she was pinned by the Divas Champion Eve, who won the match for her team as the Sole Survivor.

Match Rating: D+

(John Laurinaitis feels that Natalya should not have been wrestling, as having injured wrestlers compete only leads to bigger problems.)

The camera cuts to a dark room before the Undertaker can be seen looking into the camera. The Undertaker says that he has been buried alive before at Survivor Series, but he rose again. The Undertaker says that he has not been seen in the ring in many months but he will once again rise again, and if CM Punk is still the WWE Champion when he does, then he should be prepared. We cut to a pre-recorded interview with the Great One, himself. The Rock reminds the WWE Universe that at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View in January he will be challenging for the WWE Championship. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus John Cena and Chris Jericho

Tonight’s main event on Monday Night RAW will see a huge tag team match take place as the WWE Champion CM Punk will team up with the “Baddest Man on the Planet” Brock Lesnar to take on the team of John Cena and Chris Jericho. Last night in the main event of the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View CM Punk was able to defeat John Cena in their Last Man Standing match to successfully retain his WWE Championship after a huge roundhouse kick to the back of Cena’s head which the former ten-time WWE Champion Cena was unable to get up from. With Punk’s victory last night at Survivor Series he marked a full calendar year as the WWE Champion after winning the title at last year’s Survivor Series Pay-Per-View by defeating Alberto Del Rio. CM Punk also got into a confrontation with the legendary “Stone Cold” Steve Austin again last night, and just as at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View last month, Punk slapped Austin across the face before fleeing the ring and heading to the back. CM Punk seems to be very proficient at winding people up the wrong way and getting under their skin, and throughout the night former WWE Champions addressed Punk in the form of pre-taped interviews, such as the Rock who reminded the WWE Universe that he will be challenging for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View in January, as well as the Undertaker in the form of a strange video in which the Phenom claimed that he would one day rise again and that if CM Punk is still the WWE Champion when he does then he should be well prepared. CM Punk’s tag team partner tonight, Brock Lesnar, has seemed to be aligned with CM Punk over the past number of weeks, likely to the association that both Punk and Lesnar have with Paul Heyman. Brock Lesnar was also victorious last night at Survivor Series as his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger defeated Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match after Brock Lesnar was the sole survivor and last eliminated Chris Jericho to win the match for his team. Tonight’s tag team match is a rematch from last week’s Monday Night RAW, when Punk and Lesnar defeated Cena and Jericho.

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the “Team CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder team up to take on the team of JTG and the third generation Superstar Michael McGillicutty. Last night at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View Santino and Ryder were on the losing end of the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match as Brock Lesnar and his team of the WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger defeated Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback. Both Santino and Ryder are former WWE Tag Team Champions with other partners and the pair would no doubt love to eventually receive a shot at the tag team titles together.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Peter Orlov and Mike Dalton

More tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley in action against the newcomers of Peter Orlov and Mike Dalton, who will be teaming up for the very first time tonight. Neither Brodus Clay nor Alex Riley have ever held gold here in the WWE, but the WWE Universe has been impressed with their performances as a tag team since they started teaming up last month. Since Brodus Clay has decided to focus on his tag team with Riley and not dancing with Divas he has seemed more of a dominant force.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro versus Mason Ryan

The WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on the Welsh powerhouse Mason Ryan in a non-title match. These two Superstars were also opponents last night at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View as Brock Lesnar and his team of Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger defeated Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Cesaro has held the US title since winning it on the night of Summerslam back in August.

Ryback versus Chavo Guerrero

The dominating force known as Ryback will take on the returning Chavo Guerrero tonight on Monday Night RAW, who is competing in his first match back in front of the WWE Universe since being rehired by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero last week. Ryback was unable to win last night at Survivor Series, though, as he was defeated for the just the second time as Brock Lesnar and his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger defeated Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.

Kelly Kelly versus Emma

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see Kelly Kelly in action against Emma, the Diva formerly known as Tenille Tayla, who tweeted last week that she will be performing as Emma from now on.

Quick Picks:

WWE Champion CM Punk and Brock Lesnar versus John Cena and Chris Jericho

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Peter Orlov and Mike Dalton

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro versus Mason Ryan

Ryback versus Chavo Guerrero

Kelly Kelly versus Emma

Rating: B

The live television broadcast of Monday Night RAW begins with Paul Heyman standing in the ring. Heyman introduces the WWE Champion CM Punk, who makes his way to the ring. Punk shakes hands with Heyman before Heyman hands Punk the microphone. CM Punk reminds the WWE Universe that last night at Survivor Series he defeated John Cena in their Last Man Standing match after kicking John Cena in the back of the skull so hard that Cena may never be the same again. Punk says that his title defence last night means that he has now held the WWE Championship for a full calendar year. Brock Lesnar then joins CM Punk and Paul Heyman in the ring and Lesnar shakes hands with both Heyman and Punk before taking the microphone and proclaiming that last night at Survivor Series he and his team of the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger defeated Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Kelly Kelly versus Emma

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Kelly Kelly defeated Emma in 7:50 by pinfall with a K2. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler use this match to discuss Kelly Kelly’s performance last night at Survivor Series, when she was the last Diva on Kaitlyn’s team remaining in the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match before she was eliminated by the Divas Champion Eve, who won the match for her team as the sole survivor.

Match Rating: D+

Kelly Kelly celebrates in the ring following her victory over Emma before the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero makes her way to the ring with a microphone in hand. Vickie tells Kelly that she may have won tonight, but she didn’t win last night at Survivor Series as the Divas Champion Eve and her team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana defeated Kaitlyn and her team of Kelly, Layla, Tamina and Alicia Fox in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Beth Phoenix and Natalya then come to the ring and the pair look as though they are about to attack Kelly before AJ Lee rushes to the ring and tries to attack Vickie. Beth and Natalya help Vickie out of the ring and Kharma then joins them on the entrance-way. Kharma stares from the entrance-way intently at both Kelly and AJ in the ring as RAW heads to a commercial break.

Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus William Regal

Tonight’s main event on NXT will see the first ever NXT Champion Seth Rollins in action as he takes on the WWE veteran from Blackpool, England, William Regal. Seth Rollins became the first ever NXT Champion back in the summer by winning the Gold Rush tournament to crown the first Champion. In the finals of the Gold Rush tournament Seth Rollins defeated Jinder Mahal. Jinder Mahal has since gone on to form the three man band known as 3MB along with Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. 3MB can be regularly seen on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown performing in front of the WWE Universe and Seth Rollins seems destined to compete in the WWE at some point in his future. Upon defeating Mahal to win the NXT Championship Seth Rollins was presented the NXT Championship title belt by the NXT Commissioner, the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. The Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes seems to have a lot of faith in Seth Rollins, and the follower of dark grunge Seth Rollins is also very popular among the NXT Universe. Since winning the NXT Championship Seth Rollins has gone on to make three successful title defences. Seth Rollins first title defence came in late September against the third Generation Superstar and former WWE Tag Team Champion Michael McGillicutty. Last month on NXT Rollins made the second successful defence of his NXT Championship when he won a main event Fatal Four-Way match on an episode of NXT also involving William Regal, the athletic Percy Watson as well as the younger brother of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, Briley Pierce. Seth Rollins made the most recent defence of his NXT Championship just last week on NXT, when Rollins defeated Conor O’Brian of the Ascension in singles competition in the evening’s main event. Three weeks ago on NXT Seth Rollins had a confrontation with William Regal in which the man who has held over twenty Championships in the WWE, William Regal, showed no respect to the first ever NXT Champion. The anti-Diva from Norwich, England, Paige also joined Regal in the ring three weeks ago on NXT to speak down to Rollins and it appeared that some kind of relationship may have formed between Regal and Paige. Two weeks ago on NXT Seth Rollins faced William Regal in non-title action in the evening’s main event with William Regal picking up the all-important victory over Seth Rollins in what was the first loss that Rollins had suffered on NXT in several months. Just last week on NXT Seth Rollins and William Regal had yet another confrontation in the backstage area in which Regal claimed that he was the one deserving of a title match last week, not Conor O’Brian. Regal also proclaimed in the corridor last week that he would defeat Derrick Bateman in their match later on in the evening. However, Derrick Bateman defeated William Regal meaning that Regal is heading into tonight’s main event after a loss last week. A second non-title victory for Regal tonight may well earn him a future title shot.

Xavier Woods versus Derrick Bateman versus Bray Wyatt versus Jake Carter

A huge Fatal Four-Way match will also take place tonight on NXT as Xavier Woods, Derrick Bateman, Bray Wyatt and Jake Carter will all compete in a match that may well have a future impact on the future Number One Contender to the NXT Championship. The NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes, the WWE Hall of Famer, will no doubt be looking very closely at this match and the “American Dream” may well decide that the winner of this match be given a future opportunity to challenge Seth Rollins for the NXT Championship. All four of these individuals would love the chance to compete in front of the WWE Universe, and as always the higher ups in the WWE such as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T will be paying close attention to NXT this evening in the hope that they will find a future Superstar. Xavier Woods is very popular among the NXT Universe and three weeks ago gained the biggest victory of his young career thus far when he defeated the veteran William Regal on NXT. However, since Woods defeated Regal three weeks ago he has not been seen on NXT, and Woods will be hoping to return to action with another all-important victory here tonight. Two weeks ago on NXT Derrick Bateman was able to defeat the big Russian Alexander Rusev in what was Rusev’s debut match on NXT. Bateman was also victorious just last week on NXT when he defeated William Regal in what many considered to be an upset. Bateman can therefore make it three wins in a row with victory tonight. Bray Wyatt had not been seen for a few weeks on NXT before last week when Wyatt began the show by trying to entice Maxine into joining what he referred to as his “family”. Maxine told Bray Wyatt that she’d think about his proposal, and later on in the evening Wyatt looked to impress Maxine when he took on Percy Watson. However, Wyatt lost to Percy Watson last week on NXT and he will likely be angry and looking to make a better impression tonight. The fourth participant in tonight’s Fatal Four-Way match, Jake Carter, has not been seen on NXT in several months but the son of Vader will be looking to make an impact on his long overdue return tonight.

Naomi versus Sexy Star

Finally, Divas action tonight on NXT will see the athletic former professional dancer Naomi in action against Sexy Star. Naomi is best known for appearing in front of the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown as a Funkadaktyll for Brodus Clay and would often dance in the ring with another dancer, Cameron, before Clay’s matches. However, Naomi is now competing as a Diva on NXT and will be looking for a win tonight.

WWE NXT (Live from Carter Gymnasium (NC), 947 in Attendance)

Naomi versus Sexy Star

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Naomi defeated Sexy Star in 7:50 by pinfall with a Crossbody. Tonight’s opening contest on NXT saw Divas action as the beautiful former professional dancer for the NBA franchise Miami Magic took on relative NXT newcomer Sexy Star. Naomi is perhaps best known for her appearances on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown as a member of the “Funkadaktylls”. Naomi, along with her former partner Cameron, would often accompany Brodus Clay to the ring for his matches and entertain the WWE Universe with dancing before Clay’s matches. However, since Brodus Clay chose to focus on his tag team with Alex Riley and stopped having the Funkadaktylls accompany him to the ring a few months ago; Naomi has been training to compete as Diva on NXT. Naomi has had several matches on NXT in the past few months and has shown improvement in all of them, which is likely the reason that the NXT Commissioner, the Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, continues to give Naomi matches on NXT. Naomi impressed the NXT Universe with her performance tonight and was able to pick up the all-important victory over Sexy Star after hitting her with a Crossbody. Naomi knows that the RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the SmackDown General Manager Booker T are regularly watching NXT and so Naomi needs to continue stringing together victories to perhaps one day gain another opportunity in the WWE.

The highly charismatic and athletic Percy Watson makes his way to the ring and is quick to retrieve a microphone from the ringside area. Percy Watson says that all he has wanted to do since he was a little boy is compete in front of the WWE Universe. Percy Watson says that whether it be on Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown he is willing to do anything to get his opportunity. Watson is clearly popular with the NXT Universe as the audience chant his name. Percy Watson continues by saying that he’s begging the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes to give him more matches on NXT so that he can show the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T what he’s capable of. Percy Watson says that after not being seen on NXT for a few weeks Percy Watson was in action last week against the mysterious and dark Bray Wyatt. Watson recounts how he defeated Bray Wyatt last week on NXT yet its Bray Wyatt that will be competing in the big Fatal Four-Way match later tonight, not Percy Watson. Percy Watson says that in this ring he knows he can do things that nobody else can, so it’s about time that he was given more opportunities to show it. William Regal then comes to the ring and is quick to snatch the microphone out of Percy Watson’s hands. Regal says that he knows that Percy Watson is a good athlete, and that in Regal’s several months of commentating on NXT with that buffoon that is Byron Saxton, Regal would praise Percy’s athleticism. However, William Regal goes on to say that the reason that Byron Saxton is now commentating by himself on NXT, as well as the reason that nobody wants to work with him, is that Regal wanted to return to the ring. Regal says that in a former life perhaps Regal could have helped Percy Watson develop, and that Regal feels that all Percy needs is a manager, perhaps somebody to watch his back. William Regal says that once upon a time he may have been that person, but now Regal is back to looking out for number one. Regal says that he is a legend in this business, and since growing up in Blackpool, England, and competing in circuses, Regal went on to win over twenty Championships in the WWE. Regal says that his time hasn’t passed yet, and he’s fed up of little arrogant twits like Percy Watson and the NXT Champion Seth Rollins trying to force Regal out of the spotlight. Regal says that in tonight’s NXT non-title main event he will defeat the NXT Champion Seth Rollins for the second time and finally earn his chance to challenge Rollins one on one for the NXT Championship. Regal says that he knows his good friend, the anti-Diva Paige, will be supporting him in tonight’s NXT main event even though she is not here. Regal says he suffered a blip three weeks ago when he lost to Xavier Woods, but two weeks ago Regal defeated Rollins in NXT’s non-title main event. Last week Regal says he suffered another blip when he lost to Derrick Bateman but tonight the pattern will continue when he defeats Seth Rollins once again.

Xavier Woods versus Derrick Bateman versus Bray Wyatt versus Jake Carter

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Xavier Woods defeated Derrick Bateman, Bray Wyatt and Jake Carter in 7:32 by pinfall when Xavier Woods pinned Jake Carter following a DDT. This was a fast and furious Fatal Four-Way match between four young men looking to impress the NXT Universe. Xavier Woods, Derrick Bateman, Bray Wyatt and Jake Carter all knew that the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes would be watching this match very closely as would the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Ultimately Woods picked up the victory after pinning Jake Carter after hitting him with a DDT.

Non-Title: NXT Champion Seth Rollins versus William Regal

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Seth Rollins defeated William Regal in 7:50 by pinfall with a Blackout. Tonight’s NXT non-title main event saw the NXT Champion Seth Rollins in action against the veteran William Regal. The NXT Universe were clearly behind the NXT Champion Seth Rollins throughout this match and Rollins continued to show why the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes has so much faith in him as Rollins picked up the big victory.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5e/WWE_Superstars_logo.png

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Sin Cara versus Drew McIntyre

Tonight’s main event on WWE Superstars will see the high-flying Mexican sensation known as Sin Cara in action as he will take on a member of the Three Man Band, known as 3MB, in Drew McIntyre. The 3MB of Drew McIntyre, Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal have certainly made an impression upon the WWE Universe since forming and will be looking to continue to get noticed by both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Drew McIntyre, formerly known as the Sinister Scotsman, was once dubbed the “Chosen One” by the WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon after Mr. McMahon personally hired McIntyre after he met him on a golf course in McIntyre’s home land of Scotland. Drew McIntyre is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and is also a former WWE Tag Team Champion having held the WWE Tag Team Championships with Cody Rhodes a few years ago. McIntyre has not competed on television in several months in singles action and was last seen in October when he and his 3MB team mate Heath Slater defeated the twin brothers Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso, collectively known as the Uso’s, on two separate episodes of Friday Night SmackDown. McIntyre will be hoping to return to singles competition with another victory tonight over Sin Cara. Sin Cara is yet to hold a Championship in the WWE but has impressed many with his performances as of late. Sin Cara was teaming with his mentor Rey Mysterio up until a few months ago in late September when Mysterio injured his knee, an aggravation of a previous knee injury that Rey had suffered, on an episode of Monday Night RAW. The match that Mysterio got injured in was the finals of a tournament to name new Number One Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships and saw Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in action against the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. Team Rhodes Scholars won the match and therefore the tournament but were unsuccessful in their title match as they lost at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View last month as Kane and Daniel Bryan, known as Team Hell No, defeated Team Rhodes Scholars to retain their WWE Tag Team Championships. Sin Cara won every single match that he competed in during the month of October and is so far also undefeated in November. Sin Cara has competed in the main event of Superstars for the last four weeks gaining victories over David Otunga, Jinder Mahal, as well as defeating Johnny Curtis for the past two weeks in a row.

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus The Ascension

Tag team action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the high-flying tandem of Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd in action against the dark and mysterious team of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron, collectively known as the Ascension. During their time on NXT the Ascension were impressive, often winning their matches and terrifying the NXT Universe. However, since the Ascension have come to the WWE they have yet to pick up a victory in front of the WWE Universe. The Ascension are still being given regular matches on Friday Night SmackDown so the SmackDown General Manager Booker T may see something in them, but the large unit of Conor O’Brian and the athletic Englishman Kenneth Cameron need to start picking up some victories soon. The finishing manoeuvre of the Ascension is particularly brutal and would often give them success in their matches on NXT as Kenneth Cameron would run towards an opponent and hit a spinning heel kick to the opponent’s face whilst Conor O’Brian simultaneously runs at the opponent from behind and takes out their knee with a vicious forearm. The Ascension have been in action on Superstars for the last five weeks, in the process losing to the team of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu once, the twin brothers Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso, the team known as the Uso’s, for three weeks in a row before last week on Superstars the Ascension were defeated by Gabriel and Kidd in what was Justin Gabriel’s first match back in many months following a shoulder injury. Both Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd are former WWE Tag Team Champions, though they are yet to hold the titles as a team. Justin Gabriel won the WWE Tag Team Championships three times with his former tag team partner Heath Slater, whilst Tyson Kidd has held the WWE Tag Team Championships previously on one occasion.

Layla versus Beth Phoenix

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the beautiful Layla in action against the powerhouse known as the “Glamazon” Beth Phoenix. These two Divas were opponents this past Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View as Kaitlyn’s team of Layla, Kelly Kelly, Tamina and Alicia Fox were defeated by the WWE Divas Champion Eve and her team of Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Kharma and Aksana in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Beth Phoenix knows that she needs to start picking up victories to impress the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero following a string of losses as of late whilst Layla knows that a victory for her tonight may well lead to the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T giving her a future opportunity to challenge for the Divas Championship. Layla is very popular with the WWE Universe who will likely be on her side tonight. Both of these Divas are former Divas Champions with Beth Phoenix holding the title from last October up until April and Layla holding the title from April until the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View in September.

Pre-Show: Alicia Fox versus Emma

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Alicia Fox defeated Emma in 17:46 by pinfall with a Watch Yo Face. Tamina accompanied Alicia Fox to ringside for this one and gave Alicia vocal support throughout the match which may have helped Alicia pick up the all-important victory.

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Hunico and Camacho

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Trent & Yoshi defeated Hunico & Camacho in 17:39 when Trent Barreta defeated Hunico by pinfall with a Gobstopper Knee. Yoshi Tatsu was really off his game tonight but luckily for Yoshi his tag team partner Trent Barreta was on form tonight and pinned Hunico to win the match for his team after hitting him with his trademark Gobstopper Knee.

Match Rating: D

Pre-Show: Richie Steamboat versus Leo Kruger

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Richie Steamboat defeated Leo Kruger in 17:41 by pinfall with a Roll Up. Norman Smiley, the WCW legend, accompanied his client Richie Steamboat to ringside and did some good work in supporting Richie throughout the match which led to Steamboat picking up the win.

Match Rating: F+

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus The Ascension

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd defeated The Ascension in 7:57 when Justin Gabriel defeated Kenneth Cameron by pinfall with a 450 Splash. Tamina accompanied Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd to ringside and the relationship between Gabriel and Tamina seems to be getting stronger by the day. Having Tamina at ringside may well have inspired Gabriel in this one as he won the match for his team after pinning Kenneth Cameron following his 450 Splash.

Match Rating: D

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars airs the RAW rebound, which recaps events from this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. This week’s RAW began with Paul Heyman standing in the ring and he introduced the WWE Champion, CM Punk. Punk proclaimed to the WWE Universe how he defeated John Cena this past Sunday at Survivor Series in their Last Man Standing match to successfully retain his WWE Championship after a huge roundhouse kick to the back of John Cena’s head. Punk noted how his title defence at Survivor Series meant that he has now held the WWE Championship for an entire calendar year having won the title from Alberto Del Rio at last year’s Survivor Series Pay-Per-View. Another of Paul Heyman’s associates, Brock Lesnar, then joined Punk and Heyman in the ring. Lesnar boasted how at Survivor Series his team of the WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Tensai and Jack Swagger defeated Chris Jericho and his team of Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Mason Ryan and Ryback in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Lesnar bragged how he was the sole survivor on Sunday having pinned Chris Jericho to win the match for his team. Lesnar also announced that the main event of this past week’s RAW would see CM Punk and Brock Lesnar team up to once again take on the team of John Cena and Chris Jericho. Later on in the evening Ryback took on and defeated Chavo Guerrero in what was Chavo’s first match back on RAW following being rehired by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. During Ryback’s match it was announced by the commentary team of Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler that at the Tables, Ladders and Chairs Pay-Per-View next month CM Punk will put the WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Ryback and John Cena. Following Ryback’s victory CM Punk could be seen backstage with Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar as well as all four members of Team Lesnar at Survivor Series and Punk was clearly angry about having to put his title on the line in a Triple Threat match at the TLC Pay-Per-View. Later on in the evening John Cena could be seen backstage having another disagreement with his love interest AJ Lee as AJ claimed she wanted revenge on Vickie Guerrero following a confrontation the pair had earlier in the evening but Cena said that he needed to focus on RAW’s tag team main event against CM Punk and Brock Lesnar. Chris Jericho also had a disagreement backstage with Trish Stratus as Trish warned Jericho to stay away from Lesnar but Jericho announced that he will take on Lesnar in a Chairs match at the TLC Pay-Per-View. Brock Lesnar then threatened WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart before RAW’s tag team main event when CM Punk and Lesnar defeated Cena and Jericho after CM Punk pinned Chris Jericho after hitting him with the Go to Sleep.

Layla versus Beth Phoenix

In an extremely short match, Layla defeated Beth Phoenix in 3:05 by pinfall with a Lay-Out. Natalya accompanied Beth Phoenix to ringside for this one but it was not enough to help Beth win the match as Layla picked up the victory.

We see highlights of the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match from this past Sunday as Randy Orton and his team of Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and the WWE Tag Team Champion Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, defeated Alberto Del Rio and his team of Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz, as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. Even though Del Rio’s personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez was at ringside for Team Del Rio it was still Orton’s team that came out on top. A tweet is then shown from General Manager Booker T announcing that tomorrow night’s SmackDown main event will see the World Champion Sheamus take on the Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett in a non-title match.

Sin Cara versus Drew McIntyre

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Sin Cara defeated Drew McIntyre in 7:52 by pinfall with a La Mística. There were times when there was a lack of psychology on display and the match had a tendency to drift a little, but Sin Cara ultimately picked up the win.

Post-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus The Prime Time Players

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Brodus & Riley defeated Prime Time Players in 13:03 when Brodus Clay defeated Darren Young by submission. Abraham Washington, the owner and founder of All World Promotions, accompanied Darren Young and Titus O’Neill to ringside but was unable to help his clients to victory here as Brodus made Darren Young submit to a Bear Hug.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown!:

Non-Title: Champ vs. Champ: World Champ Sheamus vs. IC Champ Wade Barrett

Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown non-title main event was first announced in a tweet sent out by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T earlier this week and will see the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus take on the WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett in a Champion versus Champion match. This past Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus continued his winning streak as he once again defeated the Big Show to successfully retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Sheamus has now defeated the Big Show to retain the World Heavyweight Championship on two Pay-Per-Views in a row after the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus defeated the Big Show last month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View in what was the first ever singles meeting between the pair. Sheamus has been on a roll as of late and has held the World Championship for almost eight months. Sheamus has had a very successful year which began with defeating twenty-nine other Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown in the 30 Man Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View in January. Sheamus then won the World Heavyweight Championship for the very first time at Wrestlemania in early April as he defeated the former World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan in a record-setting eighteen seconds. Two weeks ago on SmackDown Wade Barrett defeated the former WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston to become the new Intercontinental Champion once again, only a few weeks after returning to action following a shoulder injury that Barrett suffered earlier in the year at the hands of the “Viper” Randy Orton which kept Barrett and his “Barrett barrage” out of action for several months. At the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View this past Sunday Barrett defeated Christian, a former Intercontinental Champion himself, to make the first successful defence of his Intercontinental Championship. This is a rematch from last week’s SmackDown non-title main event when Sheamus defeated Wade Barrett. Sheamus has in fact won in the main event of SmackDown every week since the start of October. Sheamus won every single match that he was involved in during the month of October and if Sheamus is able to defeat Barrett tonight then he would also have won every single match he has competed in during November as well, taking his winning streak over the past two months to ten matches.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No versus Hunico and Camacho

The WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as they will take on the Mexican team of Hunico and Camacho in non-title action. Kane and Daniel Bryan were on the winning team this past Sunday at Survivor Series as Randy Orton and his team of Team Hell No, Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeated Alberto Del Rio and his team of Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler, the Miz as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Team Hell No are very popular with the WWE Universe and it is not yet clear who the next challengers for the WWE Tag Team Championships will be, but the SmackDown General Manager Booker T may well give Hunico and Camacho a future title opportunity if they are able to defeat the Champions in non-title action tonight. The most recent title defence of Kane and Daniel Bryan came last month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View when they defeated Team Rhodes Scholars to retain their titles.

Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler versus Christian

Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler will also be in action tonight as he will take on the former World Heavyweight Champion, “Captain Charisma” himself, Christian. Both Ziggler and Christian were on the losing side of events this past Sunday at Survivor Series as Randy Orton and his team of the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, as well as Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeated Alberto Del Rio and his team of Dolph Ziggler, the Miz and the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Christian, meanwhile, failed to win the Intercontinental Championship from Wade Barrett as Barrett defeated Christian in his first title defence.

Ezekiel Jackson versus The Miz

This past Sunday at Survivor Series the Miz was unable to lead his team to victory in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match as Randy Orton and his team of Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, defeated Alberto Del Rio and his team of the Miz, Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. Tonight the Miz will look to bounce back as he takes on Ezekiel Jackson.

R-Truth versus Mark Henry

R-Truth’s team were victorious this past Sunday at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View as Randy Orton and his team of R-Truth, Kofi Kingston and the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, defeated Alberto Del Rio and his team of Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz and the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Tonight R-Truth will take on a former World Champion in Mark Henry.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Eve versus Alicia Fox

Finally, Divas action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the Divas Champion Eve in non-title action against Alicia Fox. This past Sunday at Survivor Series Eve and her team of Aksana, Kharma, Beth Phoenix and Natalya defeated Kaitlyn and her team of Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox, Tamina and Layla in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match.

Pre-Show: The Uso’s versus Team Rhodes Scholars

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Team Rhodes Scholars defeated The Uso's in 18:20 when Cody Rhodes defeated Jimmy Uso by pinfall with a Cross Rhodes. Twin brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso showed excellent chemistry teaming together tonight but that was not enough to earn them a victory here as Cody Rhodes pinned Jimmy Uso following the Cross Rhodes to pick up the victory for his team.

Match Rating: C

Pre-Show: Kofi Kingston versus David Otunga

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kofi Kingston defeated David Otunga in 18:06 by pinfall with a S.O.S. Natalya accompanied Otunga to ringside for this one and offered Otunga support throughout the match but that was not enough to help Otunga defeat Kingston tonight.

Friday Night SmackDown begins with the “Viper” Randy Orton making his slow and methodical way to the ring. Once in the ring Orton takes a microphone and proclaims to the WWE Universe that this past Sunday at Survivor Series he did exactly what he said he would do as Orton and his team of Kofi Kingston, R-Truth and the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, comprised of Kane and Daniel Bryan, defeated Alberto Del Rio and his team of SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, the Miz as well as the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in their Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match. Orton says that he now wants to focus on regaining something that he hasn’t had in a long time, that being the World Heavyweight Championship. The Big Show then comes to the ring and tells Orton that even though Sheamus defeated him at Survivor Series on Sunday to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, it was a fluke, and the Big Show claims that he deserves another shot at the World title. The Big Show then head butts Orton which sends Orton falling out of the ring. The Big Show then erupts in rage and hits Orton with a Chokeslam through the announce table. Orton is left crumpled in a heap as SmackDown heads to a commercial break.

Rating: A

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Eve versus Alicia Fox

In an extremely short match, Eve defeated Alicia Fox in 5:06 by pinfall with a Moonsault. Tamina accompanied Alicia Fox to ringside for this match and offered vocal support to her friend Alicia but ultimately it was the Divas Champion Eve that picked up the win.

Match Rating: C-

Following Eve’s victory the Divas Champion celebrates in the ring before Kaitlyn and Layla come to the ring. Layla takes a microphone and says that at Survivor Series on Sunday Eve and her team of Aksana, Kharma, Beth Phoenix and Natalya may have defeated Kaitlyn and her team of Layla, Kelly Kelly, Tamina and Alicia Fox but at the TLC Pay-Per-View Eve must put her title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Layla and Kaitlyn. Layla then passes the microphone to Kaitlyn who says that whoever it is that leaves the TLC Pay-Per-View as the Divas Champion, it won’t be Eve. Friday Night SmackDown then cuts to a commercial break.

Rating: C+

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No versus Hunico and Camacho

In an extremely short match, Team Hell No defeated Hunico & Camacho in 5:02 when Daniel Bryan defeated Camacho by submission with a Cattle Mutilation. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker use this match to discuss just how dominant Kane and Daniel Bryan have been as the WWE Tag Team Champions and question who could defeat them for the titles.

Match Rating: D+

Following Kane and Daniel Bryan’s victory over Hunico and Camacho the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No celebrate in the ring before Rosa Mendes comes to the entrance-way with a microphone. Rosa announces that at the TLC Pay-Per-View next month Kane and Daniel Bryan will put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line in a Ladder match against the former Tag Team Champions Primo and Epico. Primo and Epico then sneak up behind Kane and Bryan on the other side of the ring and hit the Tag Team Champions with Backstabbers. Friday Night SmackDown then cuts a commercial break with Primo and Epico standing over the fallen Champions.

Rating: C

Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler versus Christian

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Dolph Ziggler defeated Christian in 8:09 by pinfall with a Zig Zag. Layla accompanied Christian to ringside for this one but her presence was not enough to stop SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler picking up the win.

Match Rating: B

We cut backstage to find the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus preparing for tonight’s non-title main event when he will take on the Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett. Suddenly, Wade Barrett rushes into the locker-room along with Alberto Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Rodriguez and Barrett hold Sheamus down on the floor whilst Del Rio takes a chain and wraps it around the throat of the World Heavyweight Champion. Sheamus is gasping for air before Del Rio finally relinquishes the hold and Del Rio, Barrett and Rodriguez leave the room. Sheamus seems in a bad state on the concrete floor as Friday Night SmackDown heads to a commercial break.

R-Truth versus Mark Henry

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Mark Henry defeated R-Truth in 7:12 by submission with a Bear Hug. Mark Henry seemed off his game tonight but the World’s Strongest Man was still able to force R-Truth to submit.

Match Rating: B-

The assistant to the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T, Theodore Long, makes his way to the entrance-way with a microphone in hand. Ezekiel Jackson versus The Miz

In an extremely short match, The Miz defeated Ezekiel Jackson in 5:02 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. Kaitlyn accompanied Ezekiel Jackson to ringside for this one and did some good work supporting Ezekiel but ultimately the Miz picked up the win.

Match Rating: B

The Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T comes to the ring to introduce the participants for tonight’s Champion versus Champion non-title main event as the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will take on the Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett.

Rating: B+

Champ vs. Champ: Non-Title: World Champ Sheamus vs. IC Champ Wade Barrett

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Sheamus defeated Wade Barrett in 7:47 by pinfall with a Celtic Cross. This was a big victory for Sheamus considering the attack he suffered earlier tonight.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Chris Jericho

Tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event will see a rematch between two Superstars that faced one another back at Wrestlemania in early April when CM Punk defeated Chris Jericho to successfully retain his WWE Championship. Tonight on RAW, CM Punk, who remains the WWE Champion and has now been the WWE Champion for over a year, will take on Chris Jericho again this time in non-title action. CM Punk has a tough test ahead of him at the WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs Pay-Per-View later this month as CM Punk will put his WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both John Cena and Ryback. Both Cena and Ryback have had opportunities to win the WWE Championship in the recent past but have just missed out on defeating Punk as the reigning Champion CM Punk defeated Ryback in a Hell in a Cell match at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View in October to retain his title and most recently, in Punk’s latest title defence, he defeated John Cena in the main event of the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View in a Last Man Standing match to once again retain his WWE Championship. CM Punk, although not very popular with the WWE Universe, is still the WWE Champion and seems to be as strong as ever right now due largely to his associations with both Paul Heyman as well as the “Baddest Man on the Planet” Brock Lesnar. Speaking of the former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, we learned last week on Monday Night RAW that Lesnar will be in action in a Chairs match against Chris Jericho at the Tables, Ladders and Chairs Pay-Per-View next month. Trish Stratus could be seen warning Jericho to stay out of Lesnar’s way last week on RAW as Trish does not want to see Jericho getting hurt, but Jericho told Trish that he was heading on a collision course with Brock Lesnar to what is sure to be a dangerous match with steel chairs at legal as a clothesline next month. CM Punk knows that both of his challengers for the WWE Championship, John Cena and Ryback, will likely be watching tonight’s main event closely although some have questioned the focus of John Cena in recent weeks as he has been seen trying to restrain his love interest AJ Lee as she continues her feud with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero in a bid for AJ to get her job back as General Manager of RAW. CM Punk won every single one of his matches in the months of both October and November and will be hoping to get December off to a winning start tonight against Chris Jericho.

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the “Team CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder in action against the “hood” Superstar JTG as well as his tag team partner, the third Generation Superstar Michael McGillicutty. These two teams faced off last week on RAW with the Superstar that gained the pinfall or submission victory earning themselves a United States Championship match with the US Champion Antonio Cesaro at next month’s TLC Pay-Per-View. Santino picked up the win for his team last week and therefore will challenge Cesaro for the United States Championship at the TLC Pay-Per-View.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Peter Orlov and Mike Dalton

Two more relatively newly formed tag teams will also face off tonight on Monday Night RAW as the “Funkasaurus” Brodus Clay will team with Alex Riley to take on the newcomers Peter Orlov and Mike Dalton. Brodus Clay and Alex Riley have been around the WWE for a few years now but the pair has yet to hold either singles or tag team gold, though both Brodus Clay and Alex Riley are very popular with the WWE Universe. This is another rematch from last week’s RAW when Brodus Clay and Alex Riley defeated Orlov and Dalton in what was Orlov and Dalton’s debut match.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro versus Mason Ryan

At the TLC Pay-Per-View next month Antonio Cesaro will put his WWE United States Championship on the line against the master of the “Cobra”, Santino Marella. Before that, however, the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro will take on the Welsh powerhouse Mason Ryan in non-title action tonight on Monday Night RAW. Cesaro has held the United States Championship since the night of Summerslam back in August when Cesaro defeated the former Champion Santino Marella.

Ryback versus Chavo Guerrero

The almost unstoppable Ryback will also be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will once again look to feed on the former WWE Tag Team Champion Chavo Guerrero. At the TLC Pay-Per-View next month Ryback will join John Cena in challenging CM Punk for the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match. Ryback is a popular force among the WWE Universe and will look to defeat Chavo Guerrero for the second week in a row tonight after Ryback defeated Chavo last week on RAW in what was Chavo Guerrero’s first match back since being rehired by his aunt, the Managing Supervisor of Monday Night RAW Vickie Guerrero.

Kelly Kelly versus Emma

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the beautiful Kelly Kelly in action against the Diva from Australia now known as Emma. Kelly is a popular Diva among the WWE Universe and will look to continue her winning streak tonight on RAW despite the problems that she has had in recent weeks with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Kelly is a former WWE Divas Champion having held the title currently held by Eve during the summer of last year.

Pre-Show: Richie Steamboat versus Tyler Reks

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Tyler Reks defeated Richie Steamboat in 17:35 by pinfall with a Burning Hammer. WCW legend Norman Smiley accompanied his client Richie Steamboat to ringside for this one but Smiley’s presence at ringside was not enough to help Richie get the win here.

Match Rating: D-

Pre-Show: The Road Dogg versus Curt Hawkins

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Curt Hawkins defeated The Road Dogg in 17:37 by pinfall with a Flying Elbow Drop. The Road Dogg was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which led to Hawkins picking up the all-important victory.

Match Rating: D+

Pre-Show: John Cena versus Dean Ambrose

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, John Cena defeated Dean Ambrose in 18:29 by submission with a STF. This match was too long given who was involved as the WWE Universe still doesn’t know much about Dean Ambrose.

Match Rating: C+

Monday Night RAW begins with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring. Once in the ring Punk takes a microphone and pauses before speaking for a moment as the WWE Universe mostly boo Punk. CM Punk says that in a few weeks time at the TLC Pay-Per-View he will defeat both John Cena as well as Ryback in their Triple Threat match to once again retain his WWE Championship, and then go on to the Royal Rumble in January to put his title on the line against the Rock. Punk says that Ryback hasn’t been here for nearly long enough to know what it takes to be the WWE Champion, and that John Cena is still too distracted with AJ Lee and her petty feud against the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Punk goes on to proclaim that in tonight’s non-title main event he will defeat Chris Jericho once again, just like he did at Wrestlemania. Brock Lesnar then joins CM Punk in the ring, and the pair shake hands. Lesnar is handed the microphone and he says that he and Punk are united by Paul Heyman, and since they have aligned they have both been stronger than ever. Lesnar says that if there’s anything left of Chris Jericho at the Tables, Ladders and Chairs Pay-Per-View after Punk beats him tonight then Lesnar will finish Jericho off when he faces him in a Chairs match. Punk and Lesnar then shake hands again before leaving the ring together and heading to the back as RAW cuts to a commercial break.

Rating: B

Kelly Kelly versus Emma

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Kelly Kelly defeated Emma in 7:52 by pinfall with a K2. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler use this match to discuss the winning streak that Kelly has been on as of late.

Match Rating: D

Following Kelly Kelly’s victory over Emma the beautiful Kelly heads to the back leaving Emma to eventually get to her feet in the ring. However, before Emma can leave the ring both Beth Phoenix and Natalya come to the ring, and Beth has a microphone in hand. Beth says that Emma has now lost to Kelly for three weeks in a row, and in the process she has embarrassed the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and she must be punished. Kharma then comes to the ring and grabs Emma by the hair before hitting her with the Implant Buster. Kharma, Beth and Natalya celebrate over the fallen Emma in the ring as RAW heads to a commercial break.

Rating: E+

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus JTG and Michael McGillicutty

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Team CoBro defeated JTG & McGillicutty in 8:23 when Santino Marella defeated JTG by pinfall with a Cobra. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler use this match to discuss Santino’s chances of winning the United States Championship from Antonio Cesaro when the pair go one on one at the TLC Pay-Per-View.

Match Rating: C-

AJ Lee comes to the ring and as usual AJ seems incensed. AJ says that what happened to Emma earlier tonight at the hands of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero was unfair. AJ demands that Vickie come out and face her right now. Instead of Vickie, John Cena comes to the ring to join his love interest AJ. Cena tells AJ that he can’t keep stopping her from getting into trouble; Cena says that he has to focus on the TLC Pay-Per-View when he will join Ryback in challenging CM Punk for the WWE Championship. AJ eventually agrees to leave the ring and her and Cena head to the back together.

Rating: C

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro versus Mason Ryan

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Antonio Cesaro defeated Mason Ryan in 8:17 by pinfall with a Springboard Swiss Uppercut. The commentary team use this match to discuss Cesaro’s chances of retaining his United States Championship against Santino Marella at the TLC Pay-Per-View.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to find Chris Jericho deep in conversation with his lady friend Trish Stratus. Trish tells Jericho that facing CM Punk tonight is one thing, but he is the WWE Champion and Jericho needs to be careful that Brock Lesnar doesn’t interfere in the match. Jericho tells Trish that he will beat Punk tonight and send a message to Brock Lesnar ahead of their Chairs match at TLC. Trish reluctantly agrees with Jericho and the pair walk down the corridor together as RAW cuts to a commercial break.

Paul Heyman asks the group if any of them have any ideas regarding how to deal with Ryback, but nobody answers. Kassius Ohno then says that he has a meeting with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero to get to and leaves the group as RAW cuts a commercial break.

Rating: B+

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Peter Orlov and Mike Dalton

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Brodus & Riley defeated Orlov & Dalton in 7:49 when Brodus Clay defeated Mike Dalton by submission. The Monday Night RAW commentary team use this match to discuss the winning streak that Clay and Riley have been on, with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler noting that Clay and Riley deserve a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships. Michael Cole, however, remains unconvinced.

Match Rating: D-

The WWE Universe come to their feet as the Chairman of the Board Mr. McMahon makes his way to the ring. Mr. McMahon takes a microphone and announces that as we know the winner of the WWE Championship match at the TLC Pay-Per-View, be it the current Champion CM Punk, Ryback or John Cena, will go on to defend the WWE Championship against the Rock at the Royal Rumble. Mr. McMahon says that the Rock contacted him earlier today and said that he wanted a warm up match before the Royal Rumble as he hasn’t competed since Wrestlemania. Mr. McMahon goes on to say that earlier tonight Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero met with a Superstar to let him know that he will be facing the Rock at the TLC Pay-Per-View, and that Superstar is Kassius Ohno. Stephanie McMahon then joins her father in the ring and tells him that she doesn’t trust Vickie Guerrero, and suggests that Stephanie be made the new General Manager. Mr. McMahon tells Stephanie that they should discuss this matter in private and the two head to the back together.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:

NXT Championship: Seth Rollins © versus Xavier Woods versus William Regal

The first ever NXT Champion Seth Rollins will look to make the fourth successful defence of his NXT Championship tonight in NXT’s main event when Seth Rollins will put the NXT Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Xavier Woods as well as the veteran from Blackpool, England, William Regal. Seth Rollins won the NXT Championship, in the process becoming the first ever NXT Champion, in the summer by winning the Gold Rush tournament to crown the first champion. Seth Rollins defeated Jinder Mahal in the final of the tournament, and Jinder Mahal can now be seen competing on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown along with his fellow three man band team mates Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre, and between them the trio are known as 3MB. After winning the NXT Championship Seth Rollins was presented with the Championship belt by the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes, who has put a lot of faith in Seth Rollins. The first ever NXT Champion Seth Rollins is also very popular with the NXT Universe and his three title defences so far in his inaugural reign have consisted of defeating the Third Generation Superstar Michael McGillicutty in the main event of NXT back in late September. Seth Rollins made the second successful defence of his NXT Championship when he defeated William Regal, Percy Watson and the younger brother of Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler, Briley Pierce, in a Fatal Four-Way NXT main event back in October. The third and most recent title defence that Seth Rollins has made came last month in November when Seth Rollins defeated Conor O’Brian of the Ascension in the main event of NXT. Conor O’Brian can now be seen competing in front of the WWE Universe along with his Ascension tag team partner Kenneth Cameron. Seth Rollins has claimed that he knows that as the NXT Champion he is constantly being monitored by both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T, but has Rollins has stated that he wants to remain on NXT for as long as he is NXT Champion and in the process become the greatest NXT Champion of all time, becoming a legend on NXT before he inevitably moves on to bigger things in the WWE. Seth Rollins has had several altercations with William Regal in the recent past including four weeks ago when Regal showed Rollins no respect and Regal also seemed to unveil some form of relationship with the anti-Diva Paige. However, Regal’s relationship with Paige seems to be all but over now as Paige tweeted yesterday that she has finally been given the contract on SmackDown that she was promised by the Divas Champion Eve after she attacked Kaitlyn backstage at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View back in September. Seth Rollins has had several big victories recently including defeating Briley Pierce in non-title action in the NXT main event four weeks ago although three weeks ago in NXT’s non-title main event Rollins did suffer a loss at the hands of William Regal. Will Regal defeat Rollins again tonight to become the new NXT Champion or will the young underdog Xavier Woods surprise everyone and gain the biggest victory of his young career?

Derrick Bateman versus Bray Wyatt

Also tonight on NXT the charismatic Derrick Bateman will be in action against the strange, dark and mysterious Bray Wyatt. Derrick Bateman would love nothing more than to gain the opportunity to compete in front of the WWE Universe on either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown and he likely knows that RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as SmackDown General Manager Booker T are constantly reviewing NXT looking for new talent. Bateman has been around the NXT Universe for several years now and is popular, and his recent resurgence following a few weeks without appearing on NXT seems to show that the NXT Commissioner, the Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, likes what he sees in Derrick Bateman.

Naomi versus Raquel Diaz

Finally, Divas action tonight on NXT will see Naomi, the former professional dancer; take on the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz. Naomi is best known for dancing on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown along with her former dance partner Cameron as backup dancers for Brodus Clay, who they would accompany to the ring. However, since Brodus Clay decided to focus on his tag team with Alex Riley, Naomi hasn’t been dancing in front of the WWE Universe and has instead been competing in front of the NXT Universe. Raquel Diaz having the heritage that she has, with her mother Vickie Guerrero the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor, perhaps means that a future spot on the RAW roster is in her future. However, SmackDown General Manager Booker T is known to have a soft spot for Naomi so the powers that be may well be watching this match very closely. Both Divas know that they have to impress the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer, the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes in the short term in order to be given more opportunities to compete on NXT. Naomi has been steadily improving during her matches on NXT, and showed glimpses of her athletic ability three weeks ago when she lost to the anti-Diva Paige. Just last week on NXT Naomi was victorious over NXT newcomer Sexy Star, so things appear to be heading in the right direction for Naomi. Raquel Diaz hasn’t been seen on NXT in over a month since she defeated Naomi back in October.

WWE NXT (Live from Carter Gymnasium (NC), 947 in Attendance)

Naomi versus Raquel Diaz

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Raquel Diaz defeated Naomi in 8:16 by pinfall with a Frogsplash. Tonight’s opening contest on NXT saw two up and coming NXT Divas in action as Naomi, the former professional dancer, took on Raquel Diaz, the daughter of the late, great, WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero. Naomi is perhaps best known for her time seen on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown accompanying Brodus Clay to the ring as a member of the “Funkadaktylls” along with her former dance partner Cameron. However, since Brodus Clay decided he wanted to focus on his tag team with Alex Riley instead of dancing around the ring with Naomi and Cameron, Naomi has been competing in matches on NXT. The WWE Universe seemed to enjoy Naomi’s dance moves on RAW and SmackDown and the NXT Universe in the NXT arena tonight seemed behind Naomi in this match, clearly impressed with her athletic ability. Raquel Diaz continued her “Exfoliating Ugly” tour tonight on NXT, and as the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, many feel that it is only a matter of time before Diaz is seen in the WWE. However, during his time as an announcer, SmackDown General Manager Booker T seemed impressed with Naomi so perhaps an eventual appearance on SmackDown may not be too far away for Naomi. Both of these Divas know that they need to win matches in order to impress the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer, the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, and Raquel Diaz did just that tonight as she pinned Naomi using her late father’s trademark finishing manoeuvre, the Frogsplash.

Following a commercial break, the NXT Universe is treated to an appearance by Audrey Marie. Audrey Marie has not been seen in the NXT arena since early October when she got into a brawl with Maxine. Audrey Marie is quick to retrieve a microphone from the ringside area, as the sole NXT announcer Byron Saxton notes that the fans seem pleased to see Audrey Marie. Audrey Marie says that ever since she was a little girl she has dreamed of performing in front of the WWE Universe. Audrey Marie says that she knows that she needs matches on NXT in order to impress both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T, but she has not competed on NXT for several months. Audrey Marie says that she understands that the Divas we just saw in action in Naomi and Raquel Diaz are fantastic talents, but Audrey urges the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes, the esteemed WWE Hall of Famer, to give her a match in the near future. Audrey Marie continues that Dusty Rhodes calls himself the “American Dream”, and Audrey says that her American Dream has always been to compete in the WWE and when she gets given her next match on NXT she will prove just how serious she is. Audrey Marie is then interrupted by Maxine, who confidently strides to the ring and takes a microphone from the ringside area. Maxine says that the reason Audrey Marie hasn’t been given matches on NXT is because she is boring. Audrey Marie replies that she might be boring, but at least she isn’t a man eating bitch like Maxine is. Maxine then reminds Audrey Marie that four weeks ago on NXT she was victorious against Caylee Turner, the younger sister of the former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox. Maxine then reminds Audrey Marie that two weeks ago on NXT Maxine was pursued by Bray Wyatt, who seemed to be trying to recruit Maxine into some sort of family. Maxine said that she told Bray Wyatt two weeks ago on NXT that she would think about his proposal, and was not too impressed when Bray Wyatt lost to Percy Watson later on that evening. Maxine says that she wants to be associated with winners, not losers. Maxine says that she has spent too long hanging around with losers such as Derrick Bateman and Johnny Curtis, and that if Bray Wyatt really wants to impress her then he needs to start delivering with victories. Maxine says that the worst thing about Wyatt’s loss to Percy Watson two weeks ago is that Maxine particularly hates Percy Watson, as he finds it humorous to call her “fish lips” Audrey Marie interjects that she does find that quite funny, but Maxine tells her to shut up. Maxine proclaims that just last week on NXT Bray Wyatt lost again in a Fatal Four-Way match when Xavier Woods defeated Wyatt, Derrick Bateman and Jake Carter. Maxine concludes that later tonight Bray Wyatt will take on her former fiancé Derrick Bateman, and if Wyatt is serious about Maxine joining his family then he better start delivering with wins. Maxine then leaves Audrey Marie looking confused in the ring and heads to the back as NXT cuts to a commercial break.

Derrick Bateman versus Bray Wyatt

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Bray Wyatt defeated Derrick Bateman in 8:20 by pinfall with a DDT. The NXT Universe was firmly behind the charismatic Derrick Bateman in this match and he had the entire NXT arena on their feet at several staged throughout the match when it looked as though Bateman would pick up the victory. However, Bray Wyatt picked up the all-important victory in this one.

Match Rating: D+

NXT Championship: Seth Rollins © versus Xavier Woods versus William Regal

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Seth Rollins defeated Xavier Woods and William Regal in 8:06 after pinning Xavier Woods with the Blackout. Seth Rollins makes defence number four of his NXT Championship. Tonight’s main event in the NXT arena saw the NXT Universe treated to a fantastic Championship match as Seth Rollins put the NXT Championship on the line for the fourth time in a Triple Threat match against both Xavier Woods as well as the veteran William Regal. Seth Rollins is the first ever NXT Champion and the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes seems to have a lot of faith in him. Rollins retained his title again tonight after pinning Xavier Woods with the Blackout after throwing Regal out of the ring.

Thursday, Week 1, December, 2012

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5e/WWE_Superstars_logo.png

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Ezekiel Jackson versus Jinder Mahal

Tonight’s main event on WWE Superstars will see the powerhouse Ezekiel Jackson in action against one third of the three man band known as 3MB, Jinder Mahal. Ezekiel Jackson is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion having held the Intercontinental Championship during the summer of last year. Ezekiel Jackson is also the last ever ECW Champion as when ECW was made defunct and the ECW Championship retired Jackson was the final holder of the title. Ezekiel Jackson has impressed the WWE Universe in the past with his brute strength but in recent months Ezekiel has failed to build much momentum and his career has floundered a little. However, the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T has noted in the past that he is a fan of Ezekiel and if Ezekiel is able to pick up a victory against Jinder Mahal in the main event of Superstars tonight he may be able to begin a roll of momentum that can carry him into the New Year. Jinder Mahal, as well as his 3MB stable mates Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre, were not achieving much in their singles careers before they formed their band, but since Slater, McIntyre and Mahal formed their trio on Monday Night RAW they have been picking up more high profile victories. Mahal knows that both Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre will expect him to pick up the all-important victory over Ezekiel tonight in the main event of WWE Superstars. Jinder Mahal was able to defeat Ezekiel in the main event of an episode of Superstars back in October but since then Mahal has only competed in one match on television when he lost to Sin Cara in the main event of an episode of Superstars at the beginning of October. Only competing in two matches on television in the space of two months is obviously disappointing for Jinder Mahal and the man from India will be hoping that he can impress tonight on his first match in a month by defeating Ezekiel in the main event of Superstars and getting December off to a winning start. Similarly, the Miz’s victory over Ezekiel on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was Ezekiel’s first match on television since early October when Ezekiel lost to the Big Show on Friday Night SmackDown. Other than those two matches, Ezekiel’s only other match since October was the aforementioned loss to Jinder Mahal on Superstars.

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus The Ascension

Tag team action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the high-flying tandem of Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel in action against the dark and mysterious pair of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron, collectively known as the Ascension. During their several months on NXT earlier this year, the Ascension dominated their opponents and put the NXT Universe on notice with their impressive performances in the NXT arena. In particular, the signature finishing manoeuvre of the Ascension, the Fall of Man, is impressive as Conor O’Brian runs at the opponent from behind and takes out their legs whilst Kenneth Cameron runs towards the opponent and simultaneously kicks them in the face with a highly athletic spinning kick. However, the Ascension have so far failed to pick up their first victory in front of the WWE Universe, with the large Conor O’Brian and the athletic Englishman Kenneth Cameron unable to dominate matches in the way that they did so convincingly on NXT. Conor O’Brian even returned to NXT a few weeks ago but failed to defeat Seth Rollins for the NXT Championship in the evening’s main event. The Ascension have lost a tag team match on every episode of Superstars since mid-October when they lost to the team of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu. The Ascension lost to the twin brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso for three weeks in a row and for the last two weeks on Superstars have lost to their opponents tonight, Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd. Gabriel and Kidd will therefore be looking to collect a hat-trick of wins over the Ascension when they meet again tonight for the third week in a row. The Ascension have not fared any better on Friday Night SmackDown as they have lost three non-title matches to the WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, the pairing of Kane and Daniel Bryan. Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu also beat the Ascension on SmackDown a few weeks ago. However, the fact that the Ascension keeps being given matches on SmackDown may show that the SmackDown General Manager Booker T is a fan of their work. Justin Gabriel returned to action a few weeks ago following a shoulder injury which kept the South African out of action for a number of months, and immediately reformed his tag team with the last graduate of the famed Hart Family Dungeon, Tyson Kidd. Gabriel is a former three-time WWE Tag Team Champion with Heath Slater and Tyson Kidd is also a former WWE Tag Team Champion, so the pair just need to use that experience to eventually earn a shot at the tag team titles together. Another win over the Ascension tonight on Superstar would do Gabriel and Kidd no harm in their hunt for tag team gold.

Tamina versus Beth Phoenix

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the daughter of Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, Tamina, in action as she takes on the former WWE Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix. This past week on Monday Night RAW both Beth Phoenix and Natalya watched with glee as Kharma attacked Emma as Emma had lost three matches in a row to Kelly Kelly. Beth Phoenix seems to be doing all she can to impress the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero at the moment but she knows that she needs to win matches or she may also be in line for an attack from Kharma in the future. This will be Tamina’s first match in singles competition in several months and she knows that a win over the former Divas Champion Beth Phoenix may well put her in line for a future title opportunity.

Quick Picks:

Ezekiel Jackson versus Jinder Mahal

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus The Ascension

Tamina versus Beth Phoenix
