21CW; First timer

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm pretty new to the ol' TEW Series. I actually played the free version of TEW 05 back in 09, but I never got the actual game, as I could never get the hang of the storyline system. But, now with 2013, I don't have that issue, as the game is unchained.

So, I played the Real World Mod... Played with TNA for about a year, and felt it was time to play on the C-Verse. (The idea was that I would be slightly better with names I recognised). So, I started up a game as the head booker of 21CW (Because I'm a Brit... Wanna fight about it?!)

So, the idea of this topic, is to let you guys know how it's going... And watch you guys laugh as I fail misurably... And plead for some help!

----------------

So, I'm currently into February, just finished World War 6. My Champion is Dark Angel, who I've had going over on Edward Cornell (Now main event after fued) at Steel Cage Challenge, and over on Joss Thompson at World War 6.

My main problem, is getting a good show rating. So far, both Pay-Per-Views have been C+ Ratings but that's mostly due to the main event being good. And the TV shows being at max C+, and sometimes as low as C-.

I'm looking for a good way to book shows to get B ratings, as I'm currently losing popularity every show. And, also need a challenger for the world title for 21CW: Head to Head. I was thinking of Jonathan Fraust, as he is the companies biggest heel, and the most popular guy on the roster... But I'm a little afraid of hotshotting, and bringing either guy down on popularity.

The UK Title is actually on Fraust at the moment. I was annoyed at it having such little prestige with it. Now the problem is simply getting the title off to someone in midcard, without Fraust losing a hell of a lot of momentum. Any ideas welcomed.

The tag team champions are still Ivan and Igor Ivanoff. Simply because it seems like it's the best thing for them. They've currently held the titles for 12 defences, and the best part of a year. The main problem, is that they never seem to put on a good match. Is there anyone as a free agent that I could buy as a team who could put on a good fued, and become the new champs? I would be happy to put the titles on the line on TV as a main event if it had a good match rating.

Also, as always, any suggestions on who to cut/Hire would be awesome. Also, as a part of the owner goals, I need to improve Lance Martin's Momentum to a B, and not let Fraust go below C+ (Currently B+), also a reason why I'm not in favour of a fued with Dark Angel.

Thanks for reading.

Had some guys come through the academy. The guy I most wanted had a Safety Score of 50, but the owner goals wouldn't allow me to negotiate for him (Safety of 53 or more). I thought 'Screw that', but Jeff Nova took over, so I couldn't do it. There was an announcer who is now taking the third voice on commentary.
