The Stupidest Little BHOTWG Diary

Recommended Posts

Just a bit of news on the way:

Bairei Yasujiro has signed a one year contract extension with us.

We've entered negotiations with announcer Mitsuhide Miro for a new contract.

Dean Daniels is now the new owner of USPW.

Kinnojo Horri, Hypnotiq Jr., Greg Black and Magnum Kobe are complaining about feeling beat down. I give Horri two weeks off, Black a week off, and Hypnotiq Jr. a week off. I can't give Kobe time off since he's on a PPA appearance, but I'll try to remember to not book him Tuesday.

WEXXV's Hiroshi Morisue has an abdominal tear and will be out three months.

We've called Tetsuji Nishimoto and Sorai Honda up to the main roster. Both will be in our junior heavyweight division.

Marat Khoklov extended his contract with SWF.

Lobster Warrior has left SWF. He's still a pretty darn popular worker in North America.

Finally, Bryan Vessey is in the renegotiation period of his contract. Unfortunately, he's also on the downside of his contract at this time.

News time!

Kansuke Konda and Optimus have formed a friendship based around surfing.

Sessue Kawate and Toshiki Shibanumo have both been recalled to the main roster due to their unhappiness with being trainers in developmental.

We've made a contract extension that would run for four years to Elemental III.

Shimedzu has also received an extension offer of one year's length. He seems to be very happy working in Hinote Dojo.

An attempt to broker peace with PGHW failed. Despite being in the same alliance, hostility remains between the two companies.

Former BHOTWG wrestler Masutaro Kataoka has retired. He is now accepting work as a road agent.

PGHW's Raymond Diaz has an intervetebral sprain and will be out for a bit over two weeks.

This hurt our popularity in Japan, but helped it in the U.S.

After the show, I praised Kikkawa and Nakasawa for their great performances, and told Billy Russell he could do better.

After the show, Marc DuBois came back from suspension. We immediately gave him a comprehensive drug test, which he failed for soft drugs. We chose to fire him. DuBois' response was "I can't believe you're treating me like this!"

We've called up Isaac Taylor from developmental. He's really improved since he started there in March, he's gained enough experience that he's not a young lion, and he worked his way up to a main eventer in the promotion. I'm very optimistic about his chances.

We've offered Kiemon Yoshimatsu a developmental contract. Given his strong work ethic and improvement he's accomplished on his own, we're excited to see him work to improve even more.

Sammy Bach has re-signed with TCW.

News

We've signed Elemental III, Shimedzu and Kiemon Yoshimtasu to new contracts.

We're skipping this week's Thursday show to give people some time off.

We're going to debut a new title at Night of the Burning Hammer - the Young Lion championship. It'll be a low level belt. This will allow our younger workers to be guaranteed a chance to work meaningful singles matches.

The Burning Hammer Dojo has its second graduate in Kita Maryua, a female wrestler. Since we don't use female wrestlers, we're declining our first refusal option.

We've made Tadakuni Toshusai a five year contract extension offer. Same with our great referee Koetsu Shinozaki. Haru Kurofuji has been offered a two year contract.

Felipe Cabllero is a worker that we've made a developmental offer to.

Wotton Fitzpaine has recovered fully from his wrist injury.

PGHW's Nobuatsu Tatsuko suffered a Bennett's fracture of his thumb, so he'll be out for at least two months.

Vita and Rick Law are now dating.

Edit: I neglected to mention that Edo Phoenix and Taro Shionoya are no longer considered young lions.

Hey, thanks for keeping this up. Haven't had much to say, but I've definitely been following along. It's nice to have someone posting their Burning Hammer results, because I just don't have the patience to get through my own Burning Hammer game this quickly, and it's probably my favorite promotion. I've really enjoyed your matchmaking so far.

Thanks. I really appreciate your saying that.

What I find helps with booking it is to set up tournaments, which can take a little time to set it up in terms of the brackets and all that, but make the actual booking easy to do for those shows. Also, multiman tags. God bless those matches.
