It helps that the Scandinavian promotions usually have well put together websites and most of their complete shows on YouTube so it makes it a lot easier to get good pictures and information.

CM Punk has been added back to WWE. His contract is set to expire in June because I can't do July, he has Temporary Soul Separation for 4 months for the time being (could change depending on if he comes back sooner in real life).

That way it is up to the player whether they want to resign him after his final 3 months expire, but he still won't be able to appear until end of July in game either way.

Other updates, Savio Vega & Bryan Clark have been added (albeit I only added Bryan Clark (who is retired and pretty much useless for the game) because I wanted the Adam Bomb gimmick to come up in his alter egos - waste of time? maybe, but it's my mod :p). Arisa Nakajima & Io Shirai are also new additions to the data. With the additions of VampiroEls GBG & STHLM promotions, there's currently around 40 new workers at the moment for the next release, should probably be more depending on who I get the urge to add.

All other suggested fixes in the thread have also been done (even Eva Marie no longer has 0's everywhere, but she's still useless - and I can't stand the smug b**ch).

Just downloaded. Are these updates supposed to be in the current version, because they don't appear to be in mine. Noticed this with Eva Marie still having lots of 0s.

Updated this quite a bit today with everything now done that is mentioned in this thread. Several alter egos added as well as some more workers (GENTARO, Jun Kasai, Rasse & Jaki Numazawa for example). Both GENTARO & Rasse also have a couple of alter egos in. Workers are up to 1314 with alter egos hitting 1109 at the moment. I'm actually pretty pleased with how filled out the alter egos section is becoming - even if some are only there for nostalgia.

Watching Minoru Suzuki's card opening on YT. The guy is hilarious but I got something out of it for the data.

- Lance Hoyt is very religious according to Suzuki. He prays every time before eating anything and always thanks God openly whenever receiving something. He's got it listed on his Twitter, as well.

Didn't see it mentioned here, but... in quite possibly the happiest wrestling related announcement I've seen lately.

05.25.14

Chikara returns.:D

Indeed CHIKARA are set to open up in May in the data... but only if Mike Quackenbush is available to own the company. I'd rather they not open at all than have a random wrestler open the promotion.

You might want to consider adding Okada and Nakamura as a occasional team to NJPW (CHAOS) as well as Prince Devitt and Bad Luck Fale (Bullet Club II)

Okada/Shinsuke aren't the most regular team in the stable but I think it helps the AI to have them team in the main event instead of Liger and Complete Players every other show.

I took a look at NXT today and we have some issues with raising stats. I can't remember who but it was said that certain people needed their overness upped in order that if they went back to the indies they could slot into a top spot straight away. I agree with the thinking behind what was said, however it truly messes the data up in doing this because of the following;

I set the likes of Sami Zayn,Solomon Crowe to where they would fit into ROH if they were to ever leave and this made them the top stars in NXT. This however isn't the case (well maybe Zayn could be seen as a top face in NXT). This meant I had to up others in NXT so they would be considered higher on the card (likes of Bo Dallas). The fallout from this then meant those people expected to be called up to the main roster straight away (within a week of game starting). The final knock on effect meant that you either had 6 or 7 disgruntled NXT workers, or workers called up to the Main roster that in real life don't look likely to be called up any time soon (if at all).

I have decided to keep NXT and it's workers at the level they currently are because I think it works best for the overall stability of the mod (obviously some changes will be made as and when people are pushed).

I have set Alexander Rusev & Lana to appear on the main roster now.

I've had workers with 90 pop through US in developmental for months before.

@Fleish: Seconding Jaysin's response. EVen within the default Cornelverse you can send guys like Rocky Golden into development is he has enough space to develop and be happy. It really is just stat caps and worker personality that factors into a worker being called up. When it comes to mod making, it's definitely better to be true to the world as far as you can... and setting workers who have earned their popularity to actually have it, that's best for business. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png"> Some NXT pushes might end up being a little out of sync with reality, but since we can't play as them anyways (due to them being a child company) then that really doesn't matter. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png">

My main reason for coming in here today was actually to comment on the Respect stat. While it's not a huge deal for the most part, it's one of those stats that is important when it comes to anywhere that could have the Young Lion system in play and is also important for road agents, so is good to have for long term games. AJ Styles has been seriously shorted on that, with only 25 points which almost makes him a Young Lion if it weren't for his age. He may not be the biggest star ever, but he does have a lot of respect in the wrestling world... at least 60.

Broadly speaking, I'd model the Respect stat based roughly on how it grows in the game. The more matches a worker has (or the more shows they've been on for non-wrestlers) the higher it should be, with a rough cap set based on the size of the company they've been working for. So a long time TNA worker could gain respect up to about B-... a top regional guy could gain up to maybe a C- just on the regional... and top guys for a National+ company could easily get up to 100 if they've earned it. And for every year a worker has been active in a major company they shoul dbe gaining a fair chunk of respect too, easily gaining at least 5 points a year with the WWE, particularly if they've performed well. I know the stat isn't the most important one in the game, not by a long shot, but getting it wrong can hurt in the long term and cause some odd behaviour in the short term too. So hopefully this helps. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png">

As for the chatter about gimmick types, it's always a tricky one. Keeping them simple is always a good thing but too simple can stifle creativity a bit too in case anyone is looking for ideas in the file. I like the alternative file that was made (by Mammoth, I think?) and will be using that in the CV97 update I'm working on myself. I think it's a great file and yeah... it'll take some work to do in one go, but hopefully it'll make for a better mod. I think it'd work great for this mod too, so hopefully you give it some consideration for the future if you've got the time. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png">

EDIT: Reputation is another minor but useful stat to keep an eye on too. In order to make it mean anything you should start it at 50 when a worker debuts and then add about 4 or 5 points per year for a worker who doesn't do anything bad, and take points away for workers who do bad things. Whether that be law issues for folks like Matt Hardy and Reby Skye or walking out of a company for any reason like CM Punk or a Wellness Policy violation like... well, I dunno if anyone has hit one recently. The point being, that when hiring goals come into effect and the like, this is one of the stats that can have an effect and should be looked at. Again, it's not a big stat to worry about but ignoring it can lead to some minor effects being ignored or some people not quite acting the way they should in-game.

EDIT2: Another thing that may be worth looking at are that stats of some veterans, particularly the retired and semi-retired ones. As awesome as guys like Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley have been at their peak, they aren't there any more. While they may be set as retired wrestlers, their stats are set as if they are at their peak, including a lot of the non-wrestling stats that are still used as a part of angles or in order to be a trainer in a dojo. For retired workers, it's particularly important to get their numbers right in the entertainment, camera and non-wrestling skills AND also remember to have their other skills decline as part of time decline and not being used. While I'm sure HBK could still have a great match, he's not going to be as good now as he was a few years ago and his stats should reflect that. And I think everyone knows about my feelings on Mick Foley's Star Quality, which is even lower now as he gets fatter and in worse shape now than he was as a wrestler. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png"> A dojo's Head Trainer only needs good stats in Basics/Psychology/Reputation/Respect in order to be a good trainer, which currently makes Mick Foley a better trainer than someone like Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe and even Shawn Michaels in the mod as things stand. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png">

A last related note... Basics. Seems that there are very few people who are very high in basis, when in reality it's one of the easiest stats (probably the actual easiest) to actually raise. Scaling some people up in that particular stat certainly wouldn't hurt, particularly as it will have an influence on the quality of future debuting workers through dojos if there is a lack of high basics trainers. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png">

FINAL EDIT: Dragon Gate USA has waaaay too much prestige for a Small sized company, they should be more in line with the other small sized companies, particularly as they are pretty close to regional sized, at which point they'll get a prestige bump again and then be almost in line with the WWE in terms of prestige. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png">
