[RELEASE] Real World Chronicles - February 2014

Recommended Posts

Wow... that's a list lol. Some of those things I will endeavor to add, however release is Friday, I only have 1 day until then when I'm not working and that's today so very much doubt I will be able to research and add in any of those promotions listed (only reason FWE, GBG & STHLM made it in is because someone else done them). In Puerto Rico WWC are still around I think, but last I heard IWA had gone bankrupt. Again it's a promotion I'm not too familiar with in terms of talent.

Reopening of old promotions, I will have to see if WWE own the libraries etc for them. No point reopening a promotion if another company owns all their past footage, however I'd be willing to actually add some "to open" promotions as like you say, it could add long term playablility. Currently there are 4 set to open (5 if you include CHIKARA in May).

The Wolfie D alter ego has been in for the past, 3 or 4 releases - ever since I found a pretty decent picture of him.

Awesome.. I didn't expect them for the new release, just somewhere down the road. Thanks for getting in what you can!

Right. That's it for now (unless there are title changes/roster changes through the week) there will be no more work on March's release.

Plan: Friday 28th February, initial release for people to mull over and see if there are any game breaking mistakes or oversights to fix. These will then be done and for those who are bothered by the mistakes, Saturday 1st March will see a revised release with any mistakes corected. Between Friday and Saturday please only post mistakes, don't ask for "xy or z" to be added. You can request additions for April/May/June (which ever month I will next release an update) after Saturdays release.

<p>- Bump up Kento Miyahara's popularity in Japan a tiny bit, maybe 1 or 2 points. He's the new #1 contender for the Triple Crown.</p><p>

- Fix NOSAWA Rongai's 'availability'. He is no longer on hiatus and his contract with W-1 is set to retired.</p>

<p>Some PWG and NJPW fixes, don't know if you already got them</p><p> </p><p>

-Add Candice and Joey as a regular tag team</p><p>

- Add Trent and Chuck Taylor as "Best Friends" (tag name). Change Taylor/Gargano to inactive</p><p>

- G-1 Climax should be set to numbered with the next being 24</p><p>

- NJPW Invasion Attack will be held on April 6th 2014 the same day as WM. It's been a recurring event so I'd add it to the database.</p><p>

- Yuji Nagata should be lowered in stats a bit based on his age and recent performances. Should also probably drop in popularity some too</p><p>

- Is Takayama with NJPW still? Haven't seen him at all in 2013 to my knowledge he's just NOAH</p><p>

- Brian Kendrick and Trent Baretta are gone for now</p><p>

- Katsuyori Shibata could use a bump in popularity and psychology. Change to puroresu style</p><p>

- WWE diva stats are out of wack. Comparing some divas to others there seems to be a huge gap for no reason</p><p> </p><p>

Also a list of gimmicks for NJPW workers if you ever get bored <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I agree that he should be removed from NJPW, and kept in NOAH and W-1.</p><p> I disagree on your point about Nagata, though. His performances have been due to him being stuck in there with crap wrestlers. His stuff in NOAH over the past couple of months has been really solid, including the title match against Morishima earlier this month.</p>

<p>I'm not suggesting to make him bad or anything and he's still pretty good but just not better than the entire NJPW roster these days, especially not the top guys.</p><p> </p><p>

Won't argue that he got the short end having to fight the gracies recently.</p><p> </p><p>

Also some NOAH loyalties:</p><p>

Akira Taue</p><p>

KENTA</p><p>

Naomichi Marufuji</p><p>

Takeshi Morishima</p>

Also found a pic of Konnan as Max Moon (before Paul Diamond took over the gimmick) so added that as an alter ego.

All fixes suggested in this thread have been done, including Respect/Basics for around 300+ workers, Reputations worked on a bit, title histories updated for all promotions, NXT overness redone and various little tweaks here and there. A lot more cuts and alternative pics, some cleaned up pics.

EDIT: Now I've heard that JAPW will be returning in March soooooooooo.... I have added them to the data with Frank Iadevaia as owner & booker, as well as putting their (what seems to still be current) champions on the roster. The rest is up to the AI, or the player unless I can find something saying who will be appearing on their anniversary show- so maybe in game they won't return in week 1 of March as they are scheduled to in real life.

Looking forward to it.

La Sadica usually goes as Sadica. Also, La Magnifica has been doing hardcore matches. Probably should raise that skill to at least high 30s. These two are going to be fighting next week in LLF.

I thought Marisela Peña was the owner of the AAA? She's the smug lady with the urn. But maybe I'm wrong. These days I only know what's going on in AAA and CMLL from what I hear at work.

Btw, I've just started doing cuts of workers from the Mexican indys--mostly DTU, IWRG--so I could help you with those if you feel like adding to Mexico.

I may have it wrong but most sources say it's them that own it.</p><p> </p><p> Yeah that would be great. I generally cut as I go but I never say no to help that may make this easier!</p>

Apparently Black Warrior has jumped ship to AAA and joined Perros del Mal too so I will make all these changes Friday - but unfortunately now all of these things have just come to light to change and fix at the 11th hour release will now be Saturday.

<p>- Give Masao Inoue a PPA deal with AJPW</p><p>

- Bump up Atsushi Aoki's popularity across Japan by 20 points. He's just about on the same level as his partner, Kotaro Suzuki.</p><p>

- Add Soma Takao to the game world? He's in a stable with Keisuke Ishii and Shigehiro Irie (already in the game). The three are DDT guys, but have been appearing regularly in AJPW for some time now.</p><p>

There are a bunch of other smaller guys than can be added to bolster the AJPW roster, but I don't know how patient 'ya are at the moment when it comes to mass additions.</p><p> </p><p>

- Remove Katsuhiko Nagata from the NJPW roster. He has competed in 12 matches TOTAL since his debut in 2005, with his last being in December 2011 for Pancrase. His focus has been on MMA, to say the least.</p><p> </p><p>

- Add Flamita and Rocky Lobo to the game world. They are part of the Millenials stable in Dragon Gate.</p><p>

- Taku Iwasa should be set to semi-active at the very least (both personally and for his DG contract). His last match was January 2012, and that was after a year of being sparingly used, which came after a year of total absence.</p><p> </p><p>

Lastly, how open are you to the addition of some smaller indy feds in Japan? ZERO1 has been around since '01 (I believe) and has a decent following. Same for BJW, which has been around even longer. DDT also draws big crowds (Okay, this one was for my own personal enjoyment since I want to book them myself). Taka's KAIENTAI DOJO has recently started a possible alliance with AJPW, as well. This kind of thing isn't an urgent matter, but I would like to see it in the future in order to flesh out Japan some more.</p>

<p>Ok first off, the list of Additions wasn't completed and the following won't be in this release. I only arrived home an hour ago so very much doubt I'll get to work on this until tonight or maybe tomorrow morning.</p><p> </p><p>

Bryan Clark</p><p>

Barbarian </p><p>

Ezavel Suena</p><p>

Frank Iadevaia</p><p>

GENTARO </p><p>

Golden Magic</p><p>

Jun Kasai</p><p>

Kaoru Maeda</p><p>

La Parka Negra II</p><p>

La Sadica</p><p>

Lil' Nate</p><p>

Ludxor</p><p>

Marti Belle</p><p>

Miyako Matsumoto</p><p>

MIYAWAKI (Orochi)</p><p>

Scott Parker (Jagged)</p><p>

Shane Matthews</p><p>

Tim Zbyszko</p><p>

Toxico (Guerrero de la Muerte)</p><p>

Venum</p><p>

Wink Vavasseur</p><p> </p><p>

I will hopefully get them in for the next release. The reason I didn't get time to finish those was because I decided to add VampiroEl's other 2 European promotions. I also haven't updated the storylines, but to me Storylines are not that important as people can add their own on day one, and the AI doesn't even use the preset ones anyway.</p><p> </p><p>

Now I still have a few things to fix and update before release so very much doubt it will be out today (it's one of those things that happens when things get spotted late in the previous months release that need fixing). I also need to try and find/cut pictures for 2 of the European promotions workers. Best case scenario is it's released tomorrow (Sunday) worst case, next week some time. </p><p> </p><p>

Unfortunately work and social obligations will always come before this data.</p>

<p>Take your time, Fleisch!</p><p> </p><p>

- Kimihiko Ozaki was born in July 1972.</p><p>

- Add Hitoshi Kumano in for the next release. He's all of 22 years old and is probably the youngest guy to come into NOAH for a long while. Not only that, but he was actually trained by Atsushi Kotoge and Naomichi Marufuji. So it's not just NOAH cherry picking a smaller indy fed for a young worker.</p>

<p>- Masato Yoshino has lost the Open the Dream Gate title. Ricochet is the new champion.</p><p>

- Hiromu Takahashi is working in CMLL as a masked character named Kamaitachi.</p><p>

- Seiya Sanada is the new X-Division champion.</p><p>

- The BroMans regained the tag titles from The Wolves.</p>
