When he gets back in, he is again the victim of brute strength, as Big Show tosses him across the ring with ease, to the delight of the fans. He irish whips Miz again, who dodges a clothesline and hits a dropkick to the giant's knee! He runs the ropes again and hits another to the second knee, taking down Big Show! The Champion wrenches Show's head in a neck lock, but Show lifts him up and hits a huge back suplex. He lifts him and hits a scoop slam/elbow drop combination for a two count. He charges at him but hardy leapfrogs to avoid it, and runs the ropes himself, only to get a shoulder tackle from Punk. Punk hits a running dropkick to the downed Hardy's midsection, before picking him up, but Jeff counters with a standing clothesline, and tosses him into the corner, nailing him with three consecutive shoulder attacks. Hardy then whips him into the opposite corner and hits a bridging suplex on the rebounding Punk for a two count. Punk is on his back and kicks out his legs, hitting Jeff in the face, he mounts Jeff and starts punching him. He then puts him in a headlock and wrenches it very hard. Smith charges in and hits Shelton with two consecutive shoulder tackles, before hitting him with a power slam for a one count. They stare each other down and start trading punches, and Angle gets Jericho against the ropes and gives him a harsh knife edge chop, and tells him to come on. Angle whips him into the ropes but Jericho hits a spinning reverse mid air elbow strike. Angle gets to his feet and Jericho punches him in the head, sending him to lean against the ropes, Jericho takes his cue and hits a springboard dropkick, sending Angle flying outside the ring. Jericho kicks Angle a few times whilst he gets to his feet before whipping him into the steel steps, and he falls over them. Jericho smacks Angle's head against the barricade and throws him into the ring, before using his elbow to sandwich Angle's neck between it and the apron. Jericho runs the ropes but Angle catches him and hits him with a exploder belly to belly suplex. Angle picks him up and ties him up in the corner, hitting him with punch after punch. Jericho is angry, and lifts the protective mat, exposing the hard concrete floor. He picks up Angle, thinking DDT, but Angle hits a few punches, and pins them round, hitting a northern lights suplex onto the concrete! Angle quickly rolls Jericho into the ring and goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out at 2. Jericho gets to his feet and charges at Angle, but Angle hits him with a european uppercut, dazing him. He takes the opportunity to hit him with a german suplex, followed by a second, and a third! He goes for the cover but Jericho kicks out again. Christian taunts the crowd and doesn't see Edge getting up behind him, and Edge clubs his back and tosses him into the ringpost, before heading to the outside. He tries to grab a ladder, and Christian is on the other side, grabbing a chair. Christian tries to hit Edge with the chair but Edge dropkicks it right into his face. Edge continues with the ladder, picking it up, he shoves it in between the ropes and tries to lift it and position it just right in the middle of the ring. He starts the climb it, and when he gets to the top Christian leaps up to grab the title too. They start trading blows, and but Edge delivers the blow that sends Christian to the floor. Christian is quick to get up, and pushes the ladder over! Edge tumbles down to the ground, and Christian goes over to stomp on his legs and arms. Christian hits a knee drop of Edge's arms, before picking him up and hitting a few knee shots. Edge fights back and whips Christian into the ropes, with a flapjack on the rebound! Christian rolls to the outside to regroup, and Edge follows. He slams the Champion's head on the apron, but Christian fights back by doing the same to his challenger. He launches Edge into the steel steps and grabs the chair again. Edge re positions the ladder a little, and starts the climb, but misses the belt due to his exhaustion. Christian eventually gets up there and they start brawling again, this time Christian grabs Edge and puts his arm over his neck. No! Christian sets him up for the super-plex off of the fifteen foot ladder! He hits it, through the table on the outside! Jim Ross is going crazy on commentary. Both men are laid out for the better part of two minutes before they eventually stir, Christian first. Christian grabs one chair, and puts it under Edge's head, he grabs another, and nails the one man con-chair-to! A "Holy Sh-t" chant starts in the crowd, and JBL acknowledges it. Neither man is stirring, for a while again, but eventually they both start climbing the huge ladder. Both men look war-torn, but this brawl ends with Christian plummeting to the mat, this is it, Edge reaches up and grabs the title... and he unhooks it! Lesnar shifts into the headlock, but Undertaker shoves him away this time, and with incredible strength that shocks Lesnar and Heyman. Lesnar gets him back in the headlock, and whips him into the ropes, taking him down with a shoulder tackle. He clubs at Taker as he gets to his feet and shoves him into the corner, and smashes all his weight against him, before slapping him across the face! He goes for a running corner splash, but Taker counters with a big boot, and runs the ropes and hits big clothesline! Undertaker picks him up and wrenches the arm round, and drags him over to the corner, Undertaker walks along the top rope and tries old school, but Lesnar catches him and nails him with a powerslam! He covers the Deadman but it's only a two count. Heyman tries to coach Lesnar on the apron but the referee makes him go back to the outside. Undertaker is screaming in agony and looks weaker than ever! The match will be over in seconds! But no, Undertaker just reaches the ropes. Lesnar drags him away and tries to lock in another submission, but Undertaker fights out and starts hitting those big right hands, sending Lesnar to lean on the ropes, he clotheslines Lesnar out of the ring and runs the ropes... suicide dive to the outside! He rolls Brock into the ring and covers him, but Heyman drags Undertaker off of Lesnar! Undertaker goes to the outside and grabs Heyman by the throat! But Lesnar breaks it up and tosses him back into the ring. Lesnar gives him a few knees to the head and punches as he gets to his feet, but Taker gets the advantage, and grabs Lesnar for the chokeslam! But Lesnar counters a lifts him up... and nails it F5! He covers him, One Two Thre-Undertaker just gets the shoulder up. Undertaker gets to his feet, only to receive a spinebuster for another close call. Undertaker hits a few punches on Lesnar, and goes for the clothesline, but Brock ducks and instead 'Taker nails the ref! He turns round and gives Lesnar and chokeslam! he covers Lesnar but the referee is nowhere to be seen! Heyman gets in the ring an slams a steel chair onto 'Taker's head! Undertaker does his signature leg drop, but Lesnar dodges it! He drags 'Taker into the ring and punches him a few times, before dropping him with the powerslam for a two count. Lesnar is tired now, and he lifts the deadman up to finish this, F5 coming, but Undertaker jumps off and clotheslines him into the corner. Heyman jumps up onto the apron, to try and help his client, but Undertaker grabs him by the throat, and chokeslams him onto the outside! Undertaker turns round, right into an F5! But he reverses it by pushing his weight back and lifts Lesnar up, Tombstone Piledriver! 1-2-3! Shawn reverses it, twisting HHH's arm round, and clubs him on the back, he whips him into the ropes and does his signature flying forearm and kip up. Triple H gets up quickly and throws Shawn into the corner and hitting a lariat. He drags Shawn out into the middle of the ring and picks him up, but Shawn counters with a punch and hits a scoop slam, before running the ropes and hitting a leg drop to get a one count. Shawn slams HHH's legs against the mat, and elbow drops him in the chest. He picks him up and hits a snap suplex, no Triple H reverses it into a suplex of his own! Triple H picks him up again and hits a few punches before running against the ropes and hits a kitchen sink knee to Shawn, sending him flying. He waits for him to stand, and Triple H hits a massive clothesline and turns around to get the crowd fired up, but turns around into a Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere! Shawn counters the next attempt, and throws HHH into the steel steps. Shawn tears the padding off of the barricade, and Smashes the Game's head against it, before rolling him in the ring, for a two count. Shawn picks Triple H up, but Triple H tries to hit a DDT, but Michaels counters with a bridging northern lights suplex pin! One...Tw-No Triple H kicks out. Shawn quickly gets back up and grabs Triple H's head for a DDT.Triple H reverses the DDT with a shoulder strike, driving Michaels into the corner! Michaels staggers out inbetween Triple H's legs, Pedigree delivered! 1...2...No! Michaels kicks out purely on instinct. Triple H can't believe it, and wonders what he will have to do to put Shawn away. He picks Shawn up, tosses him to the ring ropes, on the rebound he slams him down with a spinebuster! But once again Michaels kicks out at two! Exhausted, Triple H picks him up off the floor, and hooks the arms, but Michaels uses him neck to flip HHH over his head! HHH gets back to his feet but recieves a Sweet Chin Music! Shawn picks up and rolls Triple H onto the Spanish Announce Table and runs back into the ring, climbs up to the top rope... He makes the leap, and nails the flying elbow drop! Both men are completely out of it, it takes to the count of 8 for Michaels to get to his feet. He rolls Triple H into the ring to make the cover. One, two, Triple H kicks out again! He drags HHH into the corner and slams his leg against the ring post, three times until Triple H manages to kick him away. Shawn gets in the ring and Triple H whips him into the ropes, and hits the atomic drop and follows up with a lariat. Triple H picks up HBK's leg, and twists it round, and locks in the Figure Four Leg Lock! Michaels is screaming in pain! He might just tap out right here! Michaels just reaches the ropes and Triple H releases the hold. They slowly get to their feet, the battle clearly taking a toll on both men, with Triple H's face covered in blood. Shawn hits a number of punches and Superkicks Triple H over the top rope! Shawn springboard off the ropes onto the outside for a crossbody, but Triple H catches him and hits a powerslam on the outside. Smackdown!'s biggest draft pick, John Cena makes his way to the ring. He cuts a promo about how happy he is to be on Smackdown, and that he wants a title match with his long time rival Edge. Christian comes out, now a RAW wrestler, but says he still has a rematch, and he's using it at Backlash, and tells him soon SD won't even have a title to fight for. Edge, the new champion comes out, and celebrates. He doesn't even get to talk when Steve Austin comes out! He says they can call him Sheriff Steve 'cos he's the new SD GM! He announces tonight that Christian will face John Cena, and if Cena wins, they will have a triple threat at Backlash! Caylen Croft & Trent Barretta Vs. David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Hart Dynasty defeated Croft and Barreta in 5:41 when David Hart Smith defeated Caylen Croft by submission with a Sharpshooter. Match Rating: ★★½ An Angle featuring: Booker T & Jack Swagger Booker T is with Josh Matthews and says that he is disappointed that he didn't win MITB at Wrestlemania. Jack Swagger says that he was screwed, and that there's always next year. Booker agrees, but Swagger then says that Booker is on the wrong side of 40, and there might not be a next year... Jeff Hardy In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Jeff Hardy defeated Chris Jericho in 14:29 by pinfall with a Twist of Fate. The match is over, and Jeff celebrates, when a huge load of bald men jump the railing and get in the ring, they start beating the crap out of Jeff Hardy. CM Punk appears on the titan tron, proud of his new bald look apparently. He says his hair will grow back, but Jeff can never recover from his demons. John Cena In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, John Cena defeated Christian in 17:29 by disqualification. After the match, Christian starts yelling at Ezekiel Jackson for costing him the match (After Jackson was injured for a week.) Edge gets in the ring and hits a double spear on both of them. He helps John Cena to his feet, and the long time rivals shake hands as the show closes.
