The Grand Avatar: A Road To Glory

A Road To Glory

A television lies dormant in the empty room. You, the reader, find yourself restrained, but unsure by what. The television flickers revealing grainy footage.

A strange figure appears on the screen. He is cast upon the blue background shrouded in black. His voice has been muffled.

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/TheGrandAvatar_zpsebbbcbae.png

I am pleased to meet your acquaintance. My name is **** *****. I come from a far-away land. I used to exchange packages of substance, backstage, at the shows in EWA. The mid-to-late nineties, those were the good ol' days, the Hamburg Hammer crashed into his opponents. He leave bruise marks on all parts of the body.

I moved up in the world of crime and grime. I stopped smoking cheap cigarettes upgrading to cheap cigars from Cuba. I made ends meet in the business. High suits, good women, expensive wine, and one-night stands in expensive hotel rooms.

One day, a man close to me, he informed the authorities. So, today I left, for a new life, with my true love.

The business of wrestling.

<span style="font-size:14px;">Show 1, that was my idea, it was a Saturday in January, that it was scheduled. The first of the famous "Spotlights on SoCal". This small event ran once monthly, and was either preceded or followed by a medium event.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">

In the January, that event was called "Eazy Does It".</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">

I debuted the three wrestlers on the show, and the gimmicks worked perfectly, though the rowdy crowd didn't accept one of my tag-team members.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">

I put some of the more questionable wrestlers on this card. I needed to make a decision whether to keep or push them. The one with the funny hair... a Mr. Sure was the only one I knew would be wrestling here in a month's time.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">

I had every match a reason behind it. Had to move the story, though I was amateur at the time.</span></p><p> </p><p>

January Week 2, Saturday

Socal Wrestling Presents

Spotlight on Southern California

Announce Team

Opening Segment

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/BustaCapp_zpsc65e14e6.pnghttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/FroSure_zps46d03979.png

Busta Capp:"Listen here, Fro Sure, there is only one true Emcee, Busta Capp, in this promotion! And I'm going to walk away with that Record Contract as the best wrestler and rapper in Southern California!"

Fro Sure: "Where's your record? Your Album? My album is selling for 1.50 after this show! Get in line, brotherman, cause the signature on that contract is a Sure Thing!"

Busta Capp: "Fro, I'ma have to Bust A Cap on you, and put out an A-B-P!"

Opening Match

Magwitch w/Roxy Kitten vs. Mexico's Finest

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Magwitch_zps88938424.pngw/http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/RoxyKitten_zps7a3832d4.pngvs.http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/MexicosFinest_zpsc522f431.png

Magwitch arrived with his new manager, Roxy Kitten, chained to him with the dog collar.

Mexico's Finest caught a standing ovation as he entered the ring. He flexed his considerable muscle.

The two put on a surprisingly good performance. The Hispanic convict was able to overpower the devilish clown.

Mexico's Finest threw Magwitch down with a "Hard Time" and was able to score the pinfall.

Mexico's Finest wins by Pinfall, Grade E

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Magwitch_zps88938424.png

Magwitch yelled as he exited the arena: "You rotten punk! I'll return the favor at Eazy Does It! And you will face the wrath of my superior, the horned one!

2 vs 2 Qualifier for the Tag Team Guantlet

Brown Pride vs. Fatal Attraction w/Hailey Boooke

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/LatinoFear_zps795ff4ff.pnghttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Mexicain_zpsdefdd786.pngvs.http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Mosher_zpsb747844c.pnghttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/FelipeCallabero_zpsb3727863.pngw/http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/HaileyBrooke_zps1f59def5.png

Brown Pride enters the arena to moderate ovation. The two brawlers stare at the entrance until MexiCain & LatinoFear declare victory.

Clifford Caves announces: "It seems Brown Pride gets a free bye into the....

Pyrotechnics explode near the front entrance as a fog machine runs! Out come two new wrestlers! They drive the crowd into a wild frenzy with screams and hyperactive behavior!"

A very attractive young valet struts down to the ring behind the team.

"Los Angeles!" screams Felipe Calibero "this match will be a Fatal... Attraction!"

LatinoFear and MexiCain put in a horrid performance. MexiCain had no in-ring skills and his timing was horrible with LatinoFear. Mosher's performance was little better, yet the fans really connected with his character.

Felipe Calibero mercifully pinned LatinoFear to finish the match.

Fatal Attraction wins by Pinfall, Grade E-

Promo

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/AcesHigh_zpsff597bd1.pnghttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Mobstar_zps053943c2.png

Mobstar and Cali Slick enter into the ring, as Aces High and Gravedigga stand ringside.

Cali Slick states:Listen here, you phony baloney! You aren't a "mobster", you a suburban dweeb with a penchance for necrophilia! You even got a gravedigger on your payroll now!

Mobstar responds:Choose your next words carefully, punk.

Cali Slick states:I oughta be careful 'bout my words, huh? You don't deserve a shot at any "tag team title"! You don't even belong on this roster! I'll use your slogan: Mobstar, I'ma turn you to a DEAD! MAAAAN! WALKIN'!

2 vs 2 Qualifier for the Tag Team Gauntlet

Dead Men Walking vs. Long Beach Crew

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Mobstar_zps053943c2.pnghttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Gravedigga_zps91517083.pngvs.http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/CaliSlick_zpsff7d2c14.pnghttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/AcesHigh_zpsff597bd1.png

The crowd was hype for this battle. Aces High and Cali Slick were the fan favorites going in.

West Coast Champion Cali Slick had the advantage early smashing weak link Gravedigger with hard right.

Gravedigger was underwhelming, and struggled against the Dead Man Walking.

Mobster proved to be the more experienced fighter. He overpowered Cali Slick, knocking his opponent hard on his back with a Flatliner.

Mobster covered for the pin. The Dead Men celebrated the chance to face off for the Tag Team Titles at Eazy Does It!

Dead Men Walkin' wins by Pinfall, Grade E

Spotlight on Southern California Resumes...

1 v 1 Tables Match for a shot at The West Coast Title

Omar (Jeremiah Moose) vs. Deaf Touch

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Omar_zps3d7d8b25.pngvs.http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/DeafTouch_zps962b75a3.png

Deaf Touch couldn't hear the cheers as he entered. The crowd was fervently behind him.

Omar displayed good high-flying ability. He worked above the ropes for most of the match.

Deaf Touch used his considerable muscle to even the score.

Deaf Touch hit a DDT through a table to secure the victory.

Death Touch with a table break, E+.

Main Event

1 vs. 1 Ultimate Deathmatch For a shot at the GSW American Title

Hard-1 vs. Fro Sure

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Hard-1_zps93417786.pngvs.http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/FroSure_zps46d03979.png

Fro Sure came out swinging with a slew of acrobatic maneuvers and hard punches.

The veteran Hard-1 proved a difficult opponent. He used the weapons as intended, hitting Sure across the chest with a barbed wire board, and smashing Fro Sure's head into a light tube.

Hard-1 was on the defensive. The wily veteran reversed a Sure Thing, throwing his opponent towards the ropes.

Hard-1 charges at Fro Sure.. only to be reversed into a Sure Thing!

Fro Sure covered for the pinfall.

Fro Sure wins by Pinfall, D

A Request: The Roster Accessment

Starting Roster Assessment:

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/TheGrandAvatar_zpsebbbcbae.png

"I took to personally changing the composition of the flimsy roster of my promotion. I wanted to put out a product worthy of the "Avatar" name in Southern California."

This was, after all, my first impression in business of wrestling.

Workers Who Fired Personally After Just One Show, With little chance of future employment or WWF-PAJOS-WLCFE's:

Dollar, Top|Deluxe, Extreme|Kong, Cheech|Kix, Drop

Comment: I can't help but think that these four hires were an attempt for Brother Grimm to set up a fast-paced cruiserweight division to fit the "modern" product definition. I watched one gym session of these four backyard gymnasts and have come to the conclusion that they are fairly generic bump machines. They have no potential to be a part of the roster.

The four extreme bump machines were given a dark match in hopes some tag team chemistry would develop. None did. All of them have been fired.

Workers Who Have A Future Yet Likely That Future Is Somewhere Else or WWHAF-YKTFSE's:

Retribution, Devyn

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/DevynRetribution_zps856e9cb6.png

Regular Wrestler, Middleweight

#5 Overall Prospect

Push: Opener

Comment: Devyn has the opening match with "Omar" at Eazy Does It. He is a tick above skills wise than the forementioned "bump machines". This manifests in his 'regular' style of wrestling. Devyn is very cheap. If Devyn impresses, or develops chemistry, he will have a few months to prove himself. Otherwise, he will be fired.

Cain, Mexi

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Mexicain_zpsdefdd786.png

Brawler, Middleweight

#4 Overall Prospect

Push: Lower Midcarder

Comment: Mexicain may have a shot if he can develop chemistry with another member of the roster. His failure in the qualifier match has hurt his chances. There may be an attempt to convert him to a manager who occasionally wrestles as his microphone skills have rave reviews. Of the two members of Brown Pride, LatinoFear has better odds.

Fear, Latino

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/LatinoFear_zps795ff4ff.png

Brawler, Middleweight

Push: Lower Midcarder

Comment: A competent hardcore worker has a place on this roster. LatinoFear is a competent hardcore worker. His brawling style works well in this promotion. He might have a shot if he can find good chemistry. LatinoFear has been in trouble with the law in the past.

Profiled from left-to-right

Capp, Busta

Middleweight, Brawler

Our Main Event Champion is one of the weaker workers on the roster. Mr. Capp, other than his cool catchphrase, struggles in about every area. His redeeming quality seems to be decent entertainment. I have decided Mr. Capp will drop the title within two months. His ability to pull a good grade at Eazy Does It will help determine how long he holds it and who he drops it to.

Slick, Cali

Middleweight, Brawler

Cali Slick, our undercard champion, does not deserve his title. He is probably our fourth of fifth best performer. Cali Slick has great entertainment skills. His quality work on the microphone is his best quality. I have noticed that his work on the show is far inferior to his work at practice. He has a tendency to underwhelm.

Sure, Fro

Middleweight, Brawler

Fro Sure is the innagural and longest-tenured American Champion in the history of GSW. He exudes natural charasmia and is a great entertainer. His in-ring skills are lacking. His stamina prevents Fro Sure from working more than a 15-minute match. Fro has his strength in promotionals. There is a solid chance he earns first shot on the champion. Fro is one of the few workers willing to work Very High Risk matches.

-1, Hard

Middleweight, Brawler

Hard-1 is a veteran brawler who specializes in Hardcore matches. He makes his opponents look very good during a match. His performance stats are great as well as his stamina. In-Ring he is the best worker on our roster by far. His entertainment skill is lower than desired, which limits his role on the main scene. The Texas Native should be on the roster for a long time. Hard-1 has indicated he is willing to work Very High Risk matches. Hard-1 will be considered second in line to own a championship belt.

<strong>Touch, Deaf</strong></p><p>

Middleweight, Regular Wrestler</p><p>

Deaf Touch is the legitimatly deaf wrestler from Detriot. He is the closest thing to Hard-1 we have in a worker. His style doesn't fit well with our hard-core heavy product nor his conservative beliefs. Deaf Touch's stamina is his best asset. He is not a very good entertainer probably due to his inability to hear. Deaf Touch is due for a big push and is third in line for a title shot. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Finest, Mexico's</strong> </p><p>

Brawler, Light Heavyweight</p><p>

The self-proclaimed finest man is the only legitimate "gangster" on this roster. Mexico is average in all but one exception. He is an exceptional asshole. The redeeming quality of Mr. Mexico is his willingness and ability to particpate in hardcore brawls. Mr. Finest is a former West Coast Champion who may contend for the belt again. Mexico's Finest has been in trouble with the law in the past.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Yard, Bone </strong></p><p>

Big Heavyweight, Brawler</p><p>

Boneyard is Brother Grimm's bodyguard. He is the favourite of the boss; an oversized Peter Valentine of USPW. He is expensive, a poor worker, and a poor entertainer who gets gassed easily. Boneyard has a nasty attitude problem. Boneyard is former West Coast contender who, barring miraculous improvements, will not reach that level again.</p>

<strong>Villano, Sanchez </strong></p><p>

Middleweight, Brawler </p><p>

#3 Overall Prospect</p><p>

Sanchez Villano is one half of the current tag team champions. He is a decent wrestler in his own right and held the West Coast Championship for a short spell. His best strentgh is his skills as a entertainer. Sanchez is good at getting the crowd involved. Mr. Sanchez loves to cause problems in the locker room notably with his gastrointestinal track. He lets out gross farts every few shows from his notable taste for spicy thai food. Rumor has it at his last doctor visit Sanchez learnt his digestive track has permanent scarring from eating the spicy delicacies. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>-Z,E </strong></p><p>

Lightweight, Brawler</p><p>

E-Z is similar to his Mexican Hardcore Killer partner Sanchez. He has better aerial ability and likes to take crazy bumps, though unlike Sanchez he does not like to take crazy bumps enough to perform them on this show. Mr. Hyphen-Zee brings his tenacious attitude outside the ring and is knwn to bring it into the locker room starting fights. The young worker reminds me of a bit better version of the various amatuer backyard gymnists is just fired.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Star, Mob</strong></p><p>

Middleweight, Brawler</p><p>

Mobstar is a solid hardcore worker and brawler who is the stronger half of Dead Men Walking. His fundamentals are sound and he is a good entertainer. Mobstar needs a gimmick change to maximize his abilities. I am thinking the Dead Men should be repackaged with different gimmicks that mimic thier namesake. The fans are probably tired of generic hustler, rapper and gangster packaged wrestler by now and Dead Men Walking should be something cool. The solid worker is fifth in line for a title shot. Mobstar has been in trouble with the law in the past.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Gravedigga, [The] </strong></p><p>

Lightweight, Brawler</p><p>

#2 Prospect (Next Big Thing)</p><p>

Gravedigga is the weaker half of the 'Dead Men Walking'. He is half-decent hardcore worker, small, who struggles with performance. Gravedigga is a very generic worker who has a high ceiling. I have severe doubt he will reach his ceiling given his current wrestling ability. Gravedigga has been in trouble with the law in the past. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Witch, Mag</strong></p><p>

Light Heavyweight, Brawler </p><p>

#1 Prospect</p><p>

Magwitch is a hardcore worker who works under a "evil clown" gimmick. Magwitch's major issue is his inability to entertain. His physical abilities are strong and his performance abilities have the ability to improve. Magwitch is willing to work hardcore matches which are his specialties. He is fifth in line for a title shot. His backstage attitude could use improvement.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>High, Aces</strong></p><p>

Middleweight, Brawler</p><p>

Aces High is the light version of partner Cali Slick. The man is a very generic middleweight brawler who lacks the entertainment ability of his fellow crew member. This description, in itself, should mean he is lucky to be on the roster. Aces High thinks that the promotion should be honored that the weak half of the long beach crew graced us with presence. He is the locker room headcase and cancer and diva that other mid-tier tag partners warned you about. I will de-push Mr. High and his position on the roster and consider firing him once we shore up the tag division. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Omar</strong></p><p>

Cruiserweight, Lightweight</p><p>

Mr. Grimm spend much of last year building cruiserweight division. He made a bad decision to bring in Jeremiah Moose from Coastal Zone Champion Wrestling. Mr. Moose cannot wrestler. He is not good on the microphone. His redeeming quality is solid basic skills and very good stamina. He is very expensive wrestler and brings little to the table GSW cannot find elsewhere. Mr. Omar will be used to enhance poor talents during his brief time left on the roster.</p>

<strong>Mosher, [The]</strong></p><p>

Lightweight, Brawler</p><p>

Mosher is the most inexpensive wrestler on the roster. He came from the great land of canadia after I posted the application on Mr. Craig's List. He is recent graduate of 4C hardcore combat academy. He learned well how to hit another man with spiked board during his time at Combat Academy. Mosher did not learn how to wrestle there. Mosher's new gimmick has him over with the fans and he is very inexpensive. He will learn wrestling from his rookie partner Felipe. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Caballero, Felipe </strong></p><p>

Lightweight, Regular Wrestler</p><p>

Mr. Phillip from Mexico was the second wrestler to answer my post on the Craig's List. Mr. Phillip comes from a star-studded pedigree and he performs great in the ring. I was shocked that list of Craig was able to locate such high-quality talent. The only drawback is that Mr. Phillip struggles to hold a crowd. We will use him in promotionals and give him occasional work as guest announcer to help Mr. Phillip learn the art of entertainment. He is still learning to speak the English language at this point so we are having MC Motormouth tutor him in speaking fast.</p>

<p>Nice start, I will be following.</p><p> </p><p>

From your roster preview, I figure that after a year or so the roster will look quite differend from what it is now so interesting to see where everyone fits (or rather who will fit and who has to go). I also look forward to see how Busta Capp does here since he has actually been pretty solid in my ESE diary with D+ match average and popularity risen from E- to D. Then again, he was feuding with Newton and Newton is one of those guys who will make anyone look good.</p>

I had to let it the monumental disappointment sink in.</p><p>

The crowd was very vocal towards Eric The Bull, airing insults towards him.

Eric The Bull ruined this match. Magwitch and The Bull turned this into a very messy brawl.

The match was very equal. Both wrestlers drew blood with a board that had nails.

Magwitch was the better wrestler, but the bloodied Eric The Bull took advantage of his youth.

Eric The Bull slit Magwitch's forehead with a sharp piece of glass, then slammed him into the barbed wire covered ropes.

He pinned the semi-conscious Magwitch soon after. Eric the Bull blacked out soon after.

Eric The Bull defeated Magwitch by pinfall, E

The match was brutal and competitive. Mobstar and Hard-1 really worked well together.

Mobstar was hungry for a shot at his rival, Cali Slick, and it showed. He kept control of the entire match.

Both men first grabbed the boards with nails. Mobstar used his superior speed to outmaneuver his older opponent. dodging a few strikes before smashing the board into Hard-1. The board upon Hard-1's chest. It doesn't draw blood.

The two engaged in a vicious, high-pace brawl, with both competitors focusing on the head. Mobstar hit a hard spear, unleashing several punches.

Hard-1 threw hard one off, hit a headbutt, and slammed him into the barbed-wire covered ropes.

He hit one punch before being pushed back.

The two brawlers exchanged chairshots, with Hard-1 trying to force Mobstar to tap out with the chair on his leg.

Mobstar managed to throw off his opponent. He hit several hard punches on Hard-1, spearing him again, and hitting a hard Flatliner DDT.

Mobstar was able to pin Hard-1 for the three count.

Mobstar by pinfall, D.

<p>Ever-So-Clear Card</p><p>

Main Event in a GSW-Hardcore Match</p><p>

Winner is GSW American Champion</p><p>

<strong>Fro Sure</strong> vs. Busta Capp</p><p>

<em>Right, I´m guessing a title change happens this time since you aren´t high on Capp and seemed to like Fro Sure´s changes to win the belt.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Weapons Match</p><p>

Winner is GSW West Coast Champion</p><p>

Mobstar vs. <strong>Cali Slick</strong></p><p>

<em>I´m guessing that original plan was to give the belt to Mobstar here but that owner goal likely shoot that one down unless Mobstar has enough time left on his contract to get a decent run with the belt.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Weapons Match</p><p>

Winner(s) are GSW Tag Team Champions</p><p>

Coulophobia (Hellech & Pierott) vs. <strong>Mexican Hardcore Killers (E-Z & Sanchez Villiano)</strong></p><p>

<em>According your roster review, it sounded like both E-Z and Villiano are bad backstage influence so you might want to move the belts off from them. However, I figure that it won´t happen just yet partly because with both Brown Pride and Dead Men Walking on their way out, Hardcore Killers will be one of the few established teams left and partly because Coulophobia is former IPW team and it wouldn´t give good picture on GSW´s tag division if team stolen from their greatest rival manages to win the tag belts right away. </em></p><p> </p><p>

Weapons Match</p><p>

<strong>Magwitch & El Serpiente</strong> vs. Mexico's Finest & ???</p><p>

<em>With Mexico´s Finest being another guy on his way out, I´m guessing El Serpiente is the one who´s going to get the upper hand on this way... actually, I would expect that to happen even if Mexico´s Finest would be staying.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Ladder Match</p><p>

Winner is #1 Tag Contender</p><p>

Fatal Attraction (Felipe Caballero & Mosher) vs. <strong>???</strong></p><p>

<em>New team gets a debut win as you continue to rebuild your tag division.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Tables Match</p><p>

Omar vs. <strong>Gravedigga</strong> </p><p>

<em>Gravedigga is on his way out but the roster review told me that so is Omar so I´m guessing that Gravedigga gets the win this time.</em></p>

West Coast Champion Cali Slick slings his belt over his shoulder. He is accompanied by Aces High.

"Listen!" yells Slick "I won this belt here fair and square, and this putrefied joke Mob-Star isn't going to take it from me!"

"So as the representative of the L-B-C, I declare myself the champion of..."

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/GSW%20Workers/Mobstar_zps053943c2.png

He is interrupted by Mobstar.

"Tonight, that bull you talkin' end, boy. I'm takin' that title in a weapons match, and I'ma make you a... DEAD MAN WALKIN'!"

1 vs 1 Tables Match

Omar vs. Gravedigga

The two wrestlers are evenly matched and have great chemistry.

Gravedigga continues to disappoint in-ring, unable to tether his potential.

Omar is initially overpowered by Gravedigga, but uses technical ability to outwrestle him.

Omar puts Gravedigga through a table to capture the victory.

A video feed from backstage plays. Busta Capp is lifting some weights when Fro Sure comes his way.

"Listen there Fro Sure, I beat you fair and square. You don't get another chance."

"You beat me in a wussy match! You didn't fight me in a streetfight, a real match! You even had a cage to fight me in! Why don't you fight me in a man's match?"

Hey, I ain't fighting in there with no fire and glass in that Ultimate Deathmatch crap. I'm a rapper, and this face is a platinum seller!"

http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t602/SoulshineSeeker/Road%20To%20Glory/BrotherGrimm_zps5208d1eb.png

Brother Grimm enters the room.

Brother Grimm addresses both competitors. "Boys, it looks like you have a conundrum. How about I introduce a Grimm-produced match without Fire and Glass, and you two settle it like men!"

Fro Sure is ecstatic.Yo, Busta, you gonna fight me? Or you too scared you'll lose that platinum face?"

"Fro, you lost last time, and you gonna lose again this time. That, my friend, is a Sure Thing!"

1 vs 1 Ladder Match for a shot at the Tag Team Titles

Fatal Attraction (Mexicali Slim & Mosher) w/Hailey Booke vs. Rich and Famous (Jackpot Jordan & Jake Idol)

Felipe now calls himself "Mexicali Slim". He runs down to the arena with Mosher.

The opponents, the Rich & Famous from CZCW, enter to a large chorus of boos. They seem to define the anti-GSW.

Atop the ladder sits a contract for a match with the GSW Tag Team Champions.

Jake Idol dominates his smaller opponents. In general, Rich and Famous' ring work is approved by a crowd. Both members fighting style is right and home in GSW.

Mexicali Slim puts up most of the offense for Fatal Attraction. He gets in several solid punches on Jackpot Jordan.

Jake's bulk slows him just enough so Mosher can harass him off the ladder.

Rich & Famous turn the tide quickly, using superior skills to defeat their opponents.

Jake Idol throws Mexicali Slim from the top of the ladder, and proceeds to unlock the caged contract.

Jake Idol by Item Retrieval, E+. Rich and Famous are the #1 Tag Team Title Contenders!

The feud continues as the Finest in Mexico with accomplice LatinoFear takes on The Serpent of the Dead and Magwitch.

This match is largely uninspiring. El Serpiente simply toys with his opponents throughout the match, spending much of his time at ringside.

Magwitch was furious during this match, and dominated Mexico's Finest. The Finest Latino was gasping for breath throughout this match.

The two partners in Clown went for the weapons first, with audience members tossing in chairs, brass knuckles, hogtie, and other items.

One of the few high points of the match was when Magwitch restrained LatinoFear next to an exposed turnbuckle, while El Serpiente slammed a chair into the back of LatinoFears' head, busting the young brawler open.

Magwitch pinned LatinoFear soon afterwards, blood staining the mat.

Magwitch & El Serpiente defeat LatinoFear & Mexico's Finest, E.
