There was also mention that the WWE Draft will occur the night after Bragging Rights, in November.

Rating: B+

In a segment starting off with Edge in the middle of the ring thanking Orton for the help at Hell in a Cell, Shawn Michaels interrupted him when Edge proclaimed himself as the better brand's world champion, which HBK obviously denied, which led to an agreement to a match later tonight.

Rating: B+

John Morrison vs. Mascarita Sagrada vs. Chavo Guerrero

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, John Morrison defeated Mascarita Sagrada and Chavo Guerrero in 7:38 when John Morrison defeated Chavo Guerrero by pinfall with a Starship Pain. Morrison liked working with people of his weight, so it seemed like an advantage for these guys.

Rating: B

The Rotunda Brothers vs. Cryme Tyme

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Cryme Tyme defeated Rotunda Brothers in 7:46 when JTG defeated Bo Rotunda by pinfall with a Spinning Headlock Drop. This match was mainly a showcase of the midcard, with focus on Cryme Tyme.

Rating: C

Mike Rotunda, the road agent behind this match, and Mike Chioda, the referee for the match, slightly helped the match work out okay.

Backstage, Santino Marella comedically bragged to several other friends about probably being a future star on Raw, and said he wanted to prove he was going to be tough enough to push the brand to the top this time around at Bragging Rights. However, he was soon intimidated by SmackDown's monster Kane, who belittled the Italian-Canadian superstar, and threatened to tear him apart.

Rating: C+

Santino's little drinking habit pulled down this segment, even though it came out well.

The Miz and the Dudebusters vs. The Motor City Machine Guns and Ultimo Dragon

In a match that had some good action but non-existent crowd heat, Ultimo Dragon and Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Miz and The Dudebusters in 7:38 when Alex Shelley defeated Trent Barreta by submission with a Crossface.

Rating: C+

Both six-man teams had experience altogether, but Ultimo Dragon was clearly slowly declining in skill, despite the potential. I see a world title push in the future for the international star.

Chris Jericho held another edition of the Highlight Reel, this time with the newly-turned Ted DiBiase, who along with his father, came out to a bit of a positive reaction. In the interview segment, Jericho ranted about DiBiase's betrayal against Cody Rhodes, which provoked Ted Jr. enough to attack the former world champion.

Rating: B

Ted DiBiase Jr. was a great entertainer in this segment, alongside his Million Dollar Manager. The drinking habits of both DiBiase and Jericho oddly enough did little effect with this segment.

The Rock, Booker T and Evan Bourne vs. Carlito and The Hart Dynasty

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, The Rock, Booker T and Evan Bourne defeated Carlito and The Hart Dynasty in 9:12 when The Rock defeated David Hart Smith by pinfall with a People's Elbow.

Rating: B-

The Rock asked to be somewhere in the card where he could go for a quick victory that he could share with other stars to build momentum between the three of them. However, a midcard match didn't seem to fit well for him, as it brought down the rating.

Backstage, Brock Lesnar ranted about how Randy Orton cost him the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell, promising pain in the Viper's future.

Rating: B+

Sara Del Rey vs. Twilight Sparkle

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Sara Del Rey defeated Twilight Sparkle in 7:32 by pinfall with a Double Underhook Suplex following interference from Rarity, who slammed Twilight with a steel chair to the back when the referee's back was turned.

Rating: B-

Twilight Sparkle was walking back down the aisle, having just suffered a defeat. At the same time, Rainbow Dash was passing by, carrying her undisputed Diva's Division title belts in tow. As they passed by, Rainbow Dash clearly taunted Twilight Sparkle about the loss, which she responded to with a shove. Soon enough, a brawl broke out between the two of them.

Rating: B-

Rainbow Dash's various habits seem to be dragging her down a little.

Batman and Sting vs. Batista and The Joker

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, The Joker and Batista defeated Batman and Sting in 11:05 when Batista defeated Sting by pinfall with a Batista Bomb.

Rating: C+

Batman and Sting don't seem to work together well, despite having similar gimmicks. Sting and Batista's declining ability damaged the match heavily.

Chris Jericho vs. Ted DiBiase

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Ted DiBiase defeated Chris Jericho in 13:07 by pinfall with a Dream Street, which surprised Jericho more than it did the fans.

Rating: B-

Ted and Jericho do not click. Let's hope the same doesn't happen between DiBiase and other people in the future.

Cody Rhodes came out and attacked Ted after the match, beating him down with a springboard kick and the Cross Rhodes.

Rating: B-

Stone Cold Steve Austin II vs. Chris Benoit

In a match that had excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, Stone Cold Steve Austin II defeated Chris Benoit in 10:23 by pinfall with a Stone Cold Stunner, after a failed Diving Headbutt from Benoit.

Rating: B

Benoit clearly worked well with Stone Cold II, considering they both have great star quality. Stone Cold II also looked a tiny bit drunk, but it didn't seem to matter anyway.

Edge vs. Shawn Michaels

In a superb bout that had great wrestling and a sizzling crowd, Shawn Michaels defeated Edge in 13:55 by pinfall with a Sweet Chin Music. The match itself seemed to be fitting for a four-star, if not five star, candidate, especially due to being a bit short and sweet.

Rating: A*

These guys wowed me out there. Even though Shawn might fall into a bit of a decline in the future, and the fact that Edge had some form of inconsistency in there, this match seems to be a Match of the Year Candidate, scoring a 98 on the Ryland scale.

Post-Show

Brock Lesnar defeated Christian. C

John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton in a triple threat. C

Overall Rating: A

Just so you know, at this point, I have discovered the Dirt Sheet notes, and they are really helping me out with what to do and what not to do, or whether the worker had inconsistency/bad motivation/habits when it came to segments. Applause for Ryland and GDS for coming up with these features.

Didn't do much, though.

Intercontinental Championship

Chris Benoit © vs. Rey Mysterio

Benoit demonstrated what he had as an Intercontinental Champion in this match against Face of No Mercy Champion Rey Mysterio. In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Chris Benoit defeated Rey Mysterio in 8:55 by pinfall after a diving headbutt. Chris Benoit makes defence number 1 of his WWE Intercontinental title.

Rating: B-

Apparently, the chemistry/motivation from Benoit is being overwhelmed by Paul Heyman.

The Miz vs. Booker T

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, The Miz defeated Booker T in 6:44 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale.

Rating: C

In the ring, Ted DiBiase calls out Cody Rhodes and challenges him to a match. WWE has decided to call up FCW main eventer Colin Delaney, who originally had a run as an reoccurring enhancement talent on ECW, as a lower midcarder heel who will work with a troublemaker gimmick, a bit similar to his previous heel run.

* Before the show, Joe Hennig did impressions. I swear, about a fourth of the roster can do spot-on impersonations.

It seems like you're going all out with Superstars with title defenses and big matches, I wouldn't do that personally, not for a B show that's only drawing 0.4's. A few good shows there though, nice to see Cody and DiBiase getting a push, I was a fan of both before their momentum was killed off.

Bragging Rights may possibly be an opportunity from some teams to try and take the titles off Team eXtreme.

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, The Hardyz defeated Jack Swagger and Dean Ambrose in 6:33 when Jeff Hardy defeated Dean Ambrose by pinfall with a Poetry in Motion.

Rating: B-

The Undertaker vs. Batista

The first of three Bragging Rights preview matches, Undertaker and Batista collide, representing Team SmackDown and Raw respectively.

In a superb bout that had great wrestling and a sizzling crowd, The Undertaker defeated Batista in 9:54 by pinfall with a Choke Slam.

Rating: B+

Confirmation has concluded that Cody Rhodes, the newest Paul Heyman Guy, has been handed a spot in the WWE Championship title match at Bragging Rights, which also involves Edge, Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar, making him the darkhorse candidate for the upcoming match at Bragging Rights.

Rating: B-

Speaking of Edge, the Rated-R Champion was backstage, clearly unfazed by the latest news on his match at Bragging Rights.

Edge: Really? Cody Rhodes is in the match now? The same guy who acts like a total pretty boy who wants to make his father proud? The same guy who is being backed by Paul Heyman of all people now? Look, Cody, you can act like you have some kind of power with that penguin at ringside, but just know you're looking at a guy who's dominated the ring several times in the past as WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, a guy who's a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match pioneer, and aside from you, you got another Heyman guy in Brock Lesnar, and a viper in Randy Orton, who helped me get the WWE Championship back after Night of Champions. At Bragging Rights, Raw will win, and you, Cody, and Brock Lesnar, will lose!

Rating: B+

Sting and John Cena vs. Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit

The second of the matches that may effect the Team Raw and Team SmackDown match at Bragging Rights and also the Champion vs. Champion match with John Cena and Chris Benoit in the mix. This time, it's a tag team match that is split between brands like usual during Bragging Rights season.

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Sting and John Cena defeated Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho in 11:09 when John Cena defeated Chris Jericho by pinfall with an Attitude Adjustment.

Rating: B+

Scratch that. THIS is Sting's best match so far. Almost as if his declining ability did nothing to hurt this match.

Stone Cold Steve Austin II and The Rock vs. CM Punk

The odds are stacked against CM Punk in this inter-brand showdown with two Attitude Era superstars, and it clearly showed to be a disadvantage tonight, since Punk can only withstand so much punishment from the People's Champion and the 3:16 Second Coming (due to being the second Stone Cold in the world, third if you count Shark Boy's SCSA gimmick).

In a match that had excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, Stone Cold Steve Austin II and The Rock defeated CM Punk in 11:11 when Stone Cold Steve Austin II defeated CM Punk by pinfall with a Stone Cold Stunner.

Rating: B

A little decline from the last match, but this needed to be the closing match for the evening.

Overall Rating: B

After much thought, I have ultimately decided that I will end my diary with Bragging Rights due to some mixed feedback. However, I will continue the game from then on, despite no longer having a diary.
