[MONDAY NIGHT RAW, APRIL, WEEK 1, 2002] First of All - Details. ROSTER: RAW Face: Wrestlers Kane Steve Austin Triple H - [WWF Heavyweight Champion] Ric Flair Big Show Jeff Hardy Bradshaw Crash Holly Spike Rob Van Dam - [WWF Intercontinental Champion] Tommy Dreamer Heel: Wrestlers Scott Hall Kevin Nash The Undertaker Eddie Guerrero Booker T Raven - [WWF Hardcore Champion] Mr. Perfect Big Boss Man Stevie Richards William Regal - [WWF European Champion] X-Pac Bubba Ray Dudley Goldust Shawn Stasiak D'Lo Brown Justin Credible Brock Lesnar (Enhancement Talent) MANAGERS: Terri Runnels (Face) [Managing: Big Show] Sharmell (Heel) [Managing: Booker T] Nidia (Heel) [Managing: None] Harvey Wippleman (Heel) [Managing: Nash and Hall] ANNOUNCING TEAM: Jim Ross (Face) Jerry Lawler (Heel) Paul Heyman (Heel) GM of RAW: Shane McMahon Interviewer: Johnathan Coachman LET'S BEGIN ! [WEEK 1, APRIL 2002] [Monday Night RAW!] [NJ Izod Center, Tri State] [Attendance: 20.213] 1. Triple-H makes an Open Challenge Scott Hall and Kevin Nash showed up Scott Hall says that he has never been the World Champ. He thinks that this is a great opportunity for him to become one. He says that Big Kev is good with this. He wants to see Hall as the Champ, because Nash has already been the Champ. Before HHH can answer back, Shane McMahon's music hits. Shane says that he runs this show, so only HE can book matches on this show. He doesn't want to give this Title Shot to Hall, because it's not Fair and He would get a lot of Negativity backstage.. Although, he knows just a MAN, who Hall needs to Defeat to prove that He is worth to become the #1 contender. Tonight, we will see Scott Hall going one on one against KANE. He hopes that Nash won't interfere the match, because that wouldn't prove Hall to be worth the #1 contenders name.. 2. MATCH #1 - For the European Championship [bradshaw vs. William Regal] Bradshaw kept strong in this one... Booker T interferes the match ! He attacks Bradshaw ! William Regal is Disqualified ! Booker T leaves Bradshaw laying on the mat and walks away.. He looks pissed off somehow.. 3. William Regal looks pissed off too.. He demands announcer to give him his mic. He says that he is pissed off not because Booker T interfered this match and cost him victory.. He says that he is pissed off because Bradshaw actually got the chance to face Regal for this tile tonight.... He says that Business veterans should hold all the Titles, not some New guys who has no experience at all... He claims that he is the biggest veteran in this business and he damn deserved to be more than European Champion... He says that how could there be a Champion like Rob Van Dam ??! He didn't even deserve to be on the Roster ! He will make some changes to all this ! There will be only Veteran Champions. And some of them will even be Double Champs. He throws the mic on the mat and walks away... 4. MATCH #2 [Crash Holly vs. D'Lo Brown] Pretty Open Match D'Lo gains some advantage Brock Lesnar Interferes the match and DEBUTS on RAW ! He attacks both men and physically destroys them ! No-Contest through interference. This match ended in DRAW.. 5. We see Johnathan Coachman backstage with William Regal. Coach asks Regal about what he said few minutes ago.. When Regals starts talking, RVD bumps into him. Regal looks scared... RVD says that Regal's time is over. "Veterans" time is over. It's time for the NEW guys to step in ! RVD says that he is better than Regal and asks if he has to say something to that ! Regal doesn't say a word.... RVD walks away with a smile on his face. 6. MATCH #3 [spike Dudley vs. Goldust] Short match and easy victory for Goldust.. After the match he steps out of the ring, but chooses to comeback right in.. Then he attacks Spike Dudley again and leaves him lying on the mat.. 7. Video shows The Outsiders - Scott Hall and Kevin Nash backstage talking.. Scott Hall asks Kevin Nash to watch his back tonight against Kane... After All, his opponent - Kane is no joke.. Even for Scott Hall.. Kevin Nash says not to worry, he's got his back.. Also Nash says that He thinks that he should be better facing Kane tonight, not Hall.. Scott Hall looks to him with a weird smile and asks what does Nash means.. Nash laughs and says "Relax man, I'm kidding"... I'll watch your back tonight.. 8. MATCH #4 [big Show vs. Eddie Guerrero] Open match, but Big Show kept strong.. Eddie tries to cheat all the match, but fails every time.. Big Show wins this one.. After the match Eddie tries to attack Big Show from behind, but gets beaten again... 9. Video is shown, that The Undertaker will be here tonight ! Also we see Johnathan Coachman backstage with Ric Flair ! Ric Flair hypes his match against The Undertaker later on here tonight... Flair says that he respects Taker as a Wrestler, but believes that something is not right with that man... He says that Taker has changed a lot past days... Now he's more unpredictable than ever... 10. MATCH #5 - #1 Contenders Match for the WWF Heavyweight Title [scott Hall vs. Kane] Open match, but Kane kept strong.. Scott Hall tries to gain the advantage by wrestling smarter than Kane.. Kane is too strong for Scott Hall to beat... Kane looks better most of the time. We see Kevin Nash coming towards the Ring !!! He distracts the Referee ! Hall takes a chair from out of the ring ! He hits Kane with the Chair and does his Finisher "Outsider's Edge" Scott Hall wins the match with help by Kevin Nash ! They Both Celebrate in the ring.. 11. We see Triple H in his locker room thinking.. He looks nervous.. Scott Hall and Nash enters his locker.. Triple H takes his Sledgehammer and asks what do they want. They just trash talk HHH and says that there is just no way that HHH will be the Champ after their match at Backlash.. Suddenly Shane McMahon enters HHH locker.. He wanted to talk to Triple H first, but says that he was looking for Hall and Nash anyways.... He says that he is sorry, but he can't make Scott Hall the #1 contender just yet.. Hall and Nash looks pissed off. Nash tries to protect Hall by saying that this is bullshit.. Shane says that Nash will face Kane next week on RAW, now that is bullshit ! And for Scott Hall, Shane says that there will be some kind of Re-Match, he just doesn't know against who yet... Shane says that he will announce next week who Scott Hall's opponent will be. 12. MATCH #6 [Ric Flair vs. The Undertaker] VERY Open match. Both men had advantages through the match... Both men kept strong, but Taker finally cheated his way to the victory.. The Undertaker has won the match against Flair by cheating.. After the match is over he looks angry that Flair actually almost won this one. Taker keeps beating down Ric Flair to the mat... Flair is even bleeding.. 13. While The Undertaker keeps beating down Flair, something amazing happens. STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN MUSIC HITS ! He runs to the ring to save Ric Flair from the DEADMAN ! When he actually made it to the ring, the lights have gone out ! It suddenly turned on again and there were no Dead Man in sight ! Stone Cold calls out the Medics to watch on Ric Flair.. He takes the mic from outside the ring and asks Taker to comeback ! He asks where is the Undertaker ? He calls out Taker, but no one answers the call... He then challenges Taker to a match next week or another one, he doesn't care, at least he gets the Dead Man's ass in the ring ! He is tired of Dead Man bullying everyone ! He makes a promise, that he will Kill the Dead Man once and for all ! THANKS FOR WATCHING MY VERY FIRST MONDAY NIGHT RAW !!!! HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT AND IF IT ATTRACTS ENOUGH ATTENTION, IN FEW DAYS TIME I WILL POST MY VERY FIRST FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN !!!
