scuz
I'm 3/4 the way through making a mod most of the details of which are likely a little unsuitable for the forum. If anyone is interested in finding out more or even helping me then please send me a PM. Thanks,
scuz
I've had quite few personal messages of interest in reply to this thread.

If anyone else wants to help I need fictional fighting organisations in USA,Canada,Germany,France,UK,Czech Republic,Ukraine,Russia and South America. As well as fictional fight teams in each of these countries.

I've almost finished adding all the US fighters (around 200) to the database so if anyone wants a very limited (at this stage) trial of the mod then let me know. The total amount of fighters is around 850 in this all female mod.

Cheers.

S:)
Blackman
I don't really know what you're planning there as there's no real details, but if there are a couple of 'legit' fighters in there, please consider including the characters in the CVE database as I've still got some female renders that are without a home (though I can always use the rest of the renderless fighters from Weidt's mod). Thanks for your reply.

The fighters in my mod are all real people each coming with a face photograph and a full body photograph. It's taken so long to get everything together that I can't even imagine how much longer it would take to do it with renders.

It has been enjoyable putting it together however. The editor for WMMA3 is an absolute godsend to use.
zaphenomenalone
Not sure if your still working on this mod but I'm interested in seeing how it turns out. I PM'd you and would love to try what you have.

Hi zaphenomenalone, sorry missed your PM. Yes still working on it, but short on time at the moment. Think I'm going to release it (at the latest) to coincide with the new game. But I can send you a sparse trial to play and add suggestions to if you'd like?

I've gotten excited about WMMA again with the upcoming release of #4. I would love to throw in some suggestions to help with your mod specially if that would help it come out not long after WMMA4 comes out. scuz
One thing I've been toying with is making fight camp/teams that teach only one discipline (I'd make all of them to be like this). I thought it would be cool to see which skill the fighter was working on without necessarily having to go in to the fight camp menu. Good idea or bad idea? Anyone got an opinion? I thought it would be cool to see which skill the fighter was working on without necessarily having to go in to the fight camp menu. Good idea or bad idea? This would depend on what your working on. If your going to set the game to only producing on dimensional fighters than I could see this working. But if not then the game will produce some very nice well rounded rookies that will quickly dominate veterans that only train in one discipline. Unfortunately in this game fighters don't really move from camp to camp to train. Generally they stay at one camp until they go on long enough of a losing streak that they decide they need to change something up.

I have it set to 90% one dimensional fighters with medium crossovers. I've noticed in my games that fighters tend to switch camps quite a bit even without being on losing streaks. Maybe I'm playing a different patch or something. It hasn't always been this way. Do you know if there is anything in particular that helps fighters decide which camp to move to? - I presumed it was to brush up on their weaker skills/but maybe it's more of a random thing? zaphenomenalone
The biggest reason seems to be nationality. Looking at all of the camps everyone is definitely in a camp of there home base. As far as which camp each fighter goes to in order to train at while it does have some variance, for the most part I'm seeing that fighters are training at camps geared towards there skills. In all of my camps the skill that they have the highest strength is all the type of fighter they have the most at. Where I see high wrestling and ground and pound I'm seeing lots of fighters that started out as wrestlers. Same for the different striking disciplines. While this is not always the case I'd say so far looking at it its true for about 80-90%.
Iceisle
I've noticed in my games that fighters tend to switch camps quite a bit even without being on losing streaks. Maybe I'm playing a different patch or something. It hasn't always been this way. Pretty sure you're right, it was one of the last few patches that makes visiting fighters actually leave their camps after a pretty short amount of time. No idea if it changes the frequency or conditions for long term members, though. The biggest reason seems to be nationality. Looking at all of the camps everyone is definitely in a camp of there home base. Yeah, it's their base area rather than their nationality, but there seems to be some spillover between certain areas. I'm certain that fighters from the Asia area can end up in Japanese camps, and I think South & Central America work the same way. Can't remember if there are others. The camp's reputation might also be a factor.
zaphenomenalone
Visiting fighters do change camps till they find a permanent camp. If they do good at a camp they are visiting they usually become full members and if they don't do that well they move on. Full time members don't travel camp to camp until they lose to many fights. This has been my experience and I have the latest patches. The game seems to group some areas together for training camps and for hiring fighters. America gets some fighters from Central America and vice versa. As well as Japan and Asia. But I've yet to see an American on a Japanese team or an African on a European team. I don't know if this could happen. Maybe I just have to many training camps in my game for it to happen. But so far I've never seen it and while checking to answer the question I didn't see it at all.

scuz
How's this mod coming along? I'm looking forward to it! It's coming on well - thanks for asking. I now have around 800 female fighters in the database each with a facial and a full body pic. I have created around 7 or 8 organisations as well as a number of fight camps. I'm aiming for this mod to come out not long after the new game drops. I'm kinda obsessive about the less important stuff in my life so there's no chance I'm going to abandon it. If anyone is interested in helping me however, I'd really appreciate it.

scuz
To all those that I messaged about a trial of this mod, I've decided to hold off for a little bit and add lot's more things to the mod. I probably won't release a trial until after the new game drops now as I think that I'll have to make so many additions. Still working on it every night though. The final version will have around 1500 female fighters (each with a face and body pic).
