Alliances Are The Hottest Trend in Pro Wrestling

It started with the "Modern Japan Movement" and "Confederation Of The Territories". In 2013 it continued with the "Real Pro Wrestling Alliance" and "International Pro Wrestling Alliance". "Real Pro Wrestling Alliance" was formed by japanese promotions "Pride Glory Honor Wrestling", "Black Canvas Wrestling" and "TIER 1 Shoot Wrestling" with the focus on promoting physical Puroresu, Shoot Wrestling, Catch Wrestling and MMA-influenced wrestling. According to RPWA founder and PGHW owner Sadaharu Jimbo event co-promotion and talent-share agreement between the promotions will benefit everyone and the promotions will compete together against their common enemies like "Golden Canvas Grappling" and the according to Jimbo, gimmicky and less Real "Burning Hammer Of The Wrestling Gods". Jimbo told TEWdotcom that he has sent open invitations to the champions of GCG and BHOTWG to meet the PGHW Clory Crown champion Kozue Kawashima and to participate in the PGHW Elite Series tournament. TEWdotcom has tried to get in touch with GCG and BHOTWG representatives for comments.

Meanwhile in North America "International Pro Wrestling Alliance" was founded by "Canadian Golden Combat", "North Of The Border Pro Wrestling", "Total Championship Wrestling" and "United States Pro Wrestling" with the intentions that a talent-share agreement between major "Traditional" and "Mainstream" promotions will benefit everyone and increase the members odds of survival in the battle against the dominant North American powerhouse "Supreme Wrestling Federation".

Sam Strong's USPW has signed talent like Roger Cage (NYCW), Joss Thompson (21CW), Bret Starr (MAW), Casey Valentine (MAW) and 17 year old rookie blue chipper P.J. Strong.

TCW has signed former Mixed Martial Arts champion and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu expert Buddy Garner, Greg Black (PSW), Acid (WLW), Paul Steadyfast, Fumihiro Ota, Kazuma Narato (WLW), Donnie J (CZCW), Snap Dragon (CZCW & MPWF), American Fox (CZCW), Remmy Skye (CZCW), JD Morgan (PSW), Clark Alexander, The Darkness Warrior (FCW), Steven Parker (PSW), Sebastian Krause, Cameron Vessey (MAW), Shingen Miyazaki (GCG), Joe Benning, Davis Wayne Newton (4C), Eddie Cornell (21CW), Texas Chainsaw Madman (PSW), Akima Umaga, Kid So'oialo, Frankie Perez (CZCW), Mikey James (CZCW), Al Coleman (CZCW), Mark Hughes (CZCW), Matt Keith (PSW), Greg Keith (GCG), Rhino Umaga (GCG), Pit Bull So'oialo (GCG), Hell Monkey (WLW), Jacob Jett (4C), American Elemental (WLW), Mr Lucha III (OLLIE), KC Glenn, El Mitico Jr, Gino Montero (OLLIE) and Luis Montero Jr (OLLIE).

The response from Richard Eisen was the signing of big name free agent Mr Supreme to the SWF roster and talents like Mainstream Hernandez (FCW), Matt Hocking (FCW), Nelson Callum (PSW), Swoop McCarthy (RAW) and Prometheus (CGC) that were signed and assigned to developement promotion RIPW. Eisen also announced that SWF will open a Vixen Division and go head to head with USPW in battle for the top female wrestlers.

Kingpin Joey Minnesota

The ever modest Joey Minnesota has made the bold declaration after the latest TCW Total Wrestling episode that he is carrying the entire TCW by himself, and without him, there would be no promotion. Understandably, his comments have not endeared him to other members of the roster.

It is being reported that a new "working agreement" is now in place that will see TCW and PSW potentially share wrestlers in future. The deal was made, reportedly when company owners happened to meet at a business function last week.
