The big three in bidding war

SWF, TCW and USPW compete in a frenzied bidding war for the current SWF World Heavyweight champion Steve Frehley. The bidding war overshadows the 2008 bidding war for Marat Khoklov and will make "The Dark Destroyer" Steve Frehley the highest paid wrestler in the business. According to inside sources SWF looked confident to resign Frehley after overbidding TCW by offering a monster salary, until USPW joined the bidding war, after Sam Strong and Steve Frehley had a personal meeting.

SWF Uprising Crisis

The Main Event at the latest SWF Uprising TV show held at The Den (New England), where Matty Phatty defeated American Machine was loudly booed and must be considered one of the biggest flops in the history of SWF. The audience held up signs showing their appreciation for current SWF World Heavyweight champion Steve Frehley and seems very disappointed after rumours leaked on various internet sites that Richard Eisen didn't match the contract bid USPW made. The feedback from viewers has been that the Uprising TV show was disappointing (38 D-), while other viewers said that SWF is awful at the moment and that they would only go to NYCW and PSW events until TCW or USPW comes to town.

USPW Sign Steve Frehley

USPW completed the signing of Steve Frehley last night. It is understood that he was one of the major targets for the promotion, although it is not clear if any other signings are planned. He is expected to make an appearance at their next show.

Match 1 - 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1: Cruiserweight Division Donnie J vs Kazuma Narato vs "Flying" Jimmy Foxx vs Fumihiro Ota vs American Fox vs Harry Allen In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Donnie J defeated Kazuma Narato, "Flying" Jimmy Foxx, Fumihiro Ota, American Fox and Harry Allen in 10:05 when Donnie J defeated Kazuma Narato by pinfall with a fast roll up. Backstage Confrontation Freddy Huggins and Benny Benson have a heated backstage confrontation. Freddy Huggins tells Benny Benson to stop hitting on his sister Laura Huggins, otherwise Benny Benson will regret it. Officials separate the two wrestlers, before it comes to blows. Match 2 – 3 vs 3: TCW Unbreakable Trio Title Match The Samoans (Giant Tana, Akima Umaga & Kid So'oialo) vs The Syndicate (Ace Andrews, Brent Hill & John Anderson) In a bout that featured great action and average heat, The Syndicate (Ace Andrews, Brent Hill and John Anderson) defeated The Samoans (Giant Tana, Akima Umaga and Kid So'oialo) in 9:47 when Ace Andrews defeated Kid So'oialo by pinfall with a Flying Body Press following interference from Rick Law. Ace Andrews and The Machines make defence number 3 of their TCW Unbeatable Trio titles. Backstage Video Troy Tornado walks into a locker room only to find his bitter rival Sammy Bach making out with the stunning Jenny Playmate. Bach tells Tornado to shut the door when he leaves. Match 1 - Cruiserweight Division: Non Title Match Acid vs Harry Allen In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Acid defeated Harry Allen in 10:23 when Harry Allen was knocked out. Backstage Video Freddy Huggins and Benny Benson have a heated backstage arguement about Laura Huggins and eventually come to blows. TCW Security swarms the backstage area to break them up before they can hurt each other. The Tokyo Express make defence number 1 of their TCW Cruiserweight Tag Team titles. Backstage Video Benny Benson is backstage, doing his best to hit on Laura Huggins. What he hasn't noticed though is that Freddy Huggins is just round the corner, and can clearly hear everything that is being said. Match 2 – 3 vs 3: TCW Unbreakable Trios Title Match Guide, Scout & Benny Benson vs The Syndicate (Brent Hill, John Anderson and Ace Andrews) In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Benny Benson and The New Wave drew with The Syndicate (Brent Hill, John Anderson and Ace Andrews) in 10:11 when the referee lost control and stopped the match, when Morpheus and The Acolyte did run in and attack Guide and Scout. After the match more wrestlers join the brawl and Guide, Scout, Benny Benson, Morpheus, The Acolyte, Ace Andrews, Brent Hill, John Anderson, Greg Black, and Ricky Dale Johnson won't stop fighting and despite the attempts by security to break them up, it's an all out brawl to the back between The Alliance, The Dark Brotherhood and The Syndicate. Peak Brothers Pre Match Video Highlights A Pre Match and Video Highlight Promo of "The Great White Shark" Eddie Peak and "Dangerous" Doug Peak dominating and destroying their oppenents Ben Williams and Lucas Hale in the ring. In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, The Peak Brothers defeated Ben Williams & Lucas Hale in 6:06 when Eddie Peak knocked out Lucas Hale. Jasmine Saunders lacks the entertainment skills needed to work in a National company. American Fox and Harry Allen both have poor selling and since the roster is very large it's a good opportunity to get rid of some of the weaker links. "Regular" Joe Benning is a promising worker, but he hasn't got the magic X factor and the competition among the blue chippers are very stiff. Concentrating to work in Dean Daniels AWA promotion could be very good for his developement. Jessica Pearce has been hired to replace Jasmine Saunders as a backstage interviewer.

Notorious submission artist; BJJ black belt; TCW Kings Of Kings winner; and former GAMMA and ALPHA-1 MMA champion Buddy Garner has signed a one-match contract with GAMMA. Garner will train at the Evolution MMA Camp for the upcoming match and has invited fellow TCW wrestler Joshua Taylor as a sparring partner.

SOTBPW Wins The Bidding War
SOTBPW was victorious in the bidding war against BHOTWG, NOTBPW and SWF; and completed the signing of the SWF World Heavyweight champion Marat Khoklov last night. It is understood that he was one of the major targets for the promotion, although it is not clear if any other signings are planned. The signing is a major loss of prestige for Supreme Wrestling Federation that now has lost two current SWF World Heavyweight champions in a short while.

TCW Commissioner Makes An Announcement

After the spectacular fireworks intro, TCW Commissioner Dread makes his entrance and enters the ring. Dread announces that a new yearly tag team tournament named TCW Blood Brothers will take place at the Excessive Force pay-per-view. The Quarter Finals will take place on the Total Wrestling shows during June, while the Semi Finals and Final will take place on Excessive Force.

Match 1 – 2 vs 2: Cruiserweight Division

Air Force 1 ("Flying" Jimmy Foxx & Snap Dragon) vs Acid & Hell Monkey

In a match that had some good action but non-existent crowd heat, Acid and Hell Monkey defeated Air Force 1 in 10:21 when Acid defeated "Flying" Jimmy Foxx by pinfall with an Acid Rain Bomb.

TCW signs a contract extension with Chance Fortune.

USPW

It is being rumoured that Giant Redwood is set to leave USPW, after apparently not being offered a contract extension. Insider sources say that the company has no further use for him, and once his current deal is complete he will be done with the promotion.
The rumour mill has shot into life, with indications that USPW have not offered a contract extension to Peter Valentine, and have instead said that he is free to leave when his current deal expires. The reports are currently unconfirmed.

Professor Nero officially completed his retirement from pro wrestling last night.
