<p>OOC: Yes I said I wasn't going to do much of a backstory, well here is a small one for everyone. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Ring of Honor is in a boom period right now, enjoying a great amount of success in the United States, and they even boast great international talents such as Nigel McGuinness and the touring KENTA and Naomichi Marufuji. So I was shocked when they asked me, Shane Richards, to be the head booker of my favorite wrestling promotion. Hard hitting matches, a territorial like feel, old school wrestling where athletic contests helped pave your way to the top…hell yes I was going to accept.</p><p> </p><p>

I knew that I had the ideas to help continue on with the great tradition of amazing matches and memorable angles in ROH, but I had to convince Cary Silkin and Gabe Sapolsky that I wasn't going to "Vince Russo" their baby. It took one meeting with them in Bristol, Pennsylvania to prove to them that I was going to make it and not f*** up business for everyone. I love professional wrestling as a sport and wanted to show my passion for it to them. I wanted to make sure they knew that I am going to keep up the tradition of high intensity matches mixed with great technical wrestling and of course thrown in a blood feud or two over the course of the year.</p><p> </p><p>

I also had to show that I was going to make sure the guys in the back were going to get taken care of as well. They are of course very integral to keeping business booming (and as always the fans are the lifeblood of professional wrestling). I told them we have an amazing World Champion in Bryan Danielson, someone we know that will be World Champion for sometime and who could carry the promotion for a few months. Our Tag Team division was growing and Aries and Strong were of course the focal point of that division. I love tag team wrestling and wanted them to know that I wanted to bring awesome tag team matches back to the forefront of the cards. The Pure Wrestling Title was an interesting championship. Not a midcard title by any means and it wasn't a title that would be tossed aside like some companies' hardcore titles or other midcard titles. Nigel embodied pure and technical wrestling but there was something that told me he may be a World Champion someday, but who would be the man to beat him for the title?</p><p> </p><p>

I gave Cary and Gabe a list of names that I wanted to bring into ROH on a permanent or part time basis and let me tell you, they were impressed. International and local workers alike were there and I told them they all were going to feature in my plans for the promotion. I told them I want to bring cross-company competition with our friends in America and overseas. The smiles on their faces couldn't have gotten any bigger.</p><p> </p><p>

6 months. 6 months is what I have so far to impress them, and damn it I am going to. Hell, I have a huge event and a double shot in April to help me do that.</p><p> </p><p>

Ring of Honor just finished up their first triple shot, and it was an amazing weekend. But coming up was the 100th Show, and how was I going to make that special for everyone involved? How could I show that I knew what I was doing behind the reigns? Well, let me show you…</p>

<p>I don't know that much about ROH but I'll be following.</p><p> </p><p>

Updated 100th Show Card</p><p>

Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship</p><p>

<strong>Bryan Danielson©</strong> vs Colt Cabana</p><p>

<em>Danielson is awesome.</em></p><p> </p><p>

GHC Jr Heavyweight Championship</p><p>

<strong>KENTA©</strong> vs Naomichi Marufuji</p><p>

<em>This should be an incredible match if given the time.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Special Challenge Match</p><p>

<strong>Samoa Joe </strong>vs Chris Hero</p><p>

<em>Joe should have been the guy to take professional wrestling by the balls, I hope you use him wisely.</em></p><p> </p><p>

#1 Contenders Triple Threat Match</p><p>

Homicide vs <strong>Christopher Daniels</strong> vs Claudio Castagnolli</p><p>

<em>I genuinely have no idea here. I could imagine any of the three, although Castagnoli has to be considered an outsider. I'll go with Daniels since I've chosen the first option a lot on this card already.</em></p><p> </p><p>

ROH vs NOAH</p><p>

<strong>Low Ki </strong>vs Ricky Marvin</p><p>

<em>I don't see any logic in Marvin winning, unless he's sticking around for a while.</em></p><p> </p><p>

ROH Tag Team Title Championship</p><p>

<strong>Austin Aries and Roderick Strong©</strong> vs Jimmy Rave and Alex Shelley</p><p>

<em>Aries & Strong are just better.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Four Corner Survival Match</p><p>

Jack Evans vs Delirious vs Adam Pearce vs <strong>ROH Pure Champion Nigel McGuiness</strong></p><p>

<em>McGuinness should definitely feud with Danielson somewhere down the line, a victory here would go a long way towards that happening.</em></p><p> </p><p>

A quick note: I'm excited to see what you do with cross-promotional matches.</p>

After a slap in the face from her, BJ delivered a punishing Wrist Clutch Exploder to her, much to the enjoyment of the fans.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jimmy Jacobs defeated BJ Whitmer in 11:21 following a Contra Code</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Four Corner Survival</strong></p><p> <span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/JackEvans32.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/AdamPearce2.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/Delirious3.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/NigelMcGuinessROH2.jpg</span></p><p> Jack Evans vs Adam Pearce vs Delirious vs Nigel McGuiness</p><p> </p><p> All four of the men involved had a good case for winning this Four Corner Survival. The fans made their dislike for Adam Pearce known, while Jack Evans made sure to impress everyone in the crowd with his knowledge of breakdancing. But the biggest impression made on the night was Delirious catching Nigel in the Cobra Stretch in the middle of the ring, not once, but TWICE! The second time Nigel had no choice but to tap out, something tha is a rarity in Ring of Honor. Fans were stunned and Nigel made sure he let Delirious know he was not happy with the result.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Delirious wins via submitting Nigel McGuiness in 12:07</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Title #1 Contenders Match</strong></p><p> <span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/Homicide32.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/ChristopherDaniels3.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/ClaudioCastagnoliLH.jpg</span></p><p> Homicide vs Christopher Daniels vs Claudio Castagnolli</p><p> </p><p> If the four men in the match before needed a win, then the three men in this match craved the pinfall or submission that would launch them to a World Title match. The crowd was firmly behind Homicide for the majority of the match, although their allegiance tended to wane back and forth between all three of the competitors. It was, however, Claudio who would get the victory. Daniels went for a BME, but Homicide crotched him on the top, and Daniels took a dangerous fall to the outside. Castangolli then caught Homicide off guard with a huge European Uppercut and then finished him off with a Riccola Bomb.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Claudio Castganolli wins via pinfall over Homicide in 16:21</strong></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/JayBriscoe32.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/MarkBriscoe2.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/AJStyles3.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/MattSydal7.jpg</span></p><p> The Briscoes vs AJ Styles and Matt Sydal</p><p> </p><p> Styles and Sydal were still out to prove they were a formidable tag team in ROH, while the Briscoes were looking to earn a World Tag Team title shot in the near future. The history was there, and for nearly a year and a half, Shelley has been looking at ways to get back at the men who turned his career upside down. But just like at Steel Cage Warfare, Aries and Strong proved to be way too much for the Embassy and retained the belts after Shelley tapped out to the Strong Hold.</p><p> After the match, Rave clearly looked disgusted and disappointed at his partner, and left Shelley and Nana in the ring.</p><p> </p><p> <strong> Aries and Strong retain the ROH Tag Team Titles via submission in 15:35</strong></p><p> </p><p> During intermission ROH camera caught up with Samoa Joe who had a few choice words for his opponent for the evening. It did live up to the hype! Low Ki used his brutal strong style to help counteract the lucha style of the Pro Wrestling NOAH man. For a few minutes at the end of the match, it looked as if Marvin would steal the win from Ki, but a Tree of Woe Ghetto Stomp ended what was one of the Match of the Year candidates so far for ROH! Marvin offered to follow the Code of Honor after the match, but Low Ki spit on his hand, continuing to disrespect the company he helped build.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Low Ki wins via pinfall in 20:23</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship Match</strong></p><p> <span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/BryanDanielson72.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/ColtCabana14.jpg</span></p><p> Bryan Danielson© vs Colt Cabana</p><p> </p><p> After months of dealing with Homicide, Colt Cabana was rewarded with a Ring of Honor World Title shot. Early on, surprisingly it was Colt who dominated with many of the brawling tactics he had to adapt to during hid feud with Homicide. But as the match wore on, Danielson began to make his mark on the match and control it for long periods of time. Colt was able to hit the Colt 45, only to see Danielson kick out at the last second. After consulting with the ref, Cabana turned into an Inside Cradle and was down for the three count. Colt was stunned as Danielson left somewhat quickly with the ROH World Title.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bryan Danielson retained the ROH World Title via pinfall in 19:58</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Special Challenge Match</strong></p><p> <span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/SamoaJoe102.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/ChrisHero093.jpg</span></p><p> Samoa Joe vs Chris Hero</p><p> </p><p> From the onset of the match, the fans wanted nothing more than for Joe to ‘kill’ Chris Hero. And that is exactly how the match began. Joe dominated with the striking ability that all Ring of Honor knows him for. But the underhanded tactics of Hero began to come into play and midway through the match Hero had control. The match unfortunately ended in DQ after Hero was seen low blowing Joe, causing Sinclair to call for the bell. Hero then began to assault Joe post-match, and even grabbed a steel chair. Before he could finish him off, Castagnolli ran out to make the save and snatch the chair from Hero. Before the fans could finish thanking him, Castagnolli turned and hit Joe with the chair, opening him up and siding with Hero. The fans began to throw trash and debris into the ring as the two men celebrated together.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Samoa Joe wins via DQ in 21:39</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>GHC Jr Heavyweight Championship Match</strong></p><p> <span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/KENTAGHC2.jpg</span><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH%201/NaomichiMarufuji.jpg</span></p><p> KENTA© vs Naomichi Marufuji</p><p> </p><p> The Best in the World tag team partners followed the Code of Honor and shook hands before the match began. <p>OOC: This post is from my phone. It may be a day or two before I will get WOC Nt 1 up. Family trip out of state and my wife is not leaving the computer with me before I leave. But I do have some news for everyone in-game</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BREAKING NEWS</strong></p><p> </p><p>

ROH Officials and the rest of the wrestling world are saddened to learn of the loss of a true wrestling great.<strong>"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka</strong> has passed away in his home. Reports have not said the reason behind his passing. Here at Ring of Honor we would like to offer up our condolences to the Snuka family. We would like to dedicate this weekend to the memory of "Superfly".</p><p> </p><p>

ROH Officials would also like to report that <strong>ROH Pure Wrestling Champion Nigel McGuinness</strong> has come away from his match with <strong>Delirious</strong> with what appears to be Churchillian Nerve Damage. We do not know at the current time how long this will keep Nigel out of action but we can report that he WILL NOT be able to participate in Night Two of Weekend of Champions.</p><p> </p><p>

This of course has offered up a conundrum to the promised Tag Team title match. The solution will be made within the coming days for the "Champions vs Champions" match and if or even when it can take place. But for WOC Night Two there will be a World Title and Tag Team Title Match. <strong>Bryan Danielson</strong> or<strong> Claudio Castagnolli</strong> will defend the Ring of Honor World Title against <strong>BJ Whitmer</strong>! And the winner of the Tag Title match will defend the belts against <strong>Jimmy Jacobs</strong> and <strong>Lacey's</strong> new hired man <strong>Adam Pearce!</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Ring of Honor Officials would like to apologize to the fans for any dissappointment, but we can promise you that we will deliver on our show and the "Champions vs Champions" match will be discussed for a card in the near future.</p>

<p>OOC: Sorry for there being no pictures. The internet isn’t great where I am at, and I figured the results were the most important part. Thanks for continuing to read you guys!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://s751.photobucket.com/user/tcox88/media/ROH1.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH1.jpg</span></a><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Weekend of Champions Night One</strong></p><p><strong> Dayton, Ohio</strong></p><p><strong> April 28, 2006</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>ROH Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> The Briscoes vs Jason Blade and Kid Mikaze vs Homicide and Ricky Reyes vs Dunn and Marcos </p><p> </p><p> A pissed off Briscoes made their way into this Four Team Match, that being said, Homicide wasn’t in too pleasant of a mood either. Dunn and Marcos shocked no one with their attempts to show off their ‘rocker’ ability, and also by being the first team to be eliminated from the contest. Jason Blade and Kid Mikaze put in a strong showing, but they too suffered the same fate as the R.C.E. after a Cop Killa from Homicide. It was finally down to the Briscoes and The Rottweilers, two teams with a load of history. It was to be the Briscoes night as a Spike J-Driller is what down Reyes, earning the Briscoes a Tag Team Title opportunity.</p><p> </p><p> <strong> The Briscoes defeated 3 other teams by elimination in 15:41</strong></p><p> </p><p> BJ Whitmer vs Adam Pearce </p><p> </p><p> Despite not being at the show, Lacey made her influence known by hiring Adam Pearce to do her bidding. It was a very stiff and hard hitting contest that showed off the striking and brawling of both men. Pearce did what he could to use underhanded tactics, but it wasn’t enough as BJ Whitmer was able to put away Lacey’s hired help.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>BJ Whitmer won by pinfall in 12:33</strong></p><p> </p><p> Jerry Lynn vs Jimmy Jacobs (12:11)</p><p> </p><p> It had been over 2 years since Jerry Lynn had stepped foot into a Ring of Honor ring, and the reception the fans gave the veteran was amazing! His first match back was against an improving Jimmy Jacobs, who looked like his mind wasn’t all focused on the task at hand. Being the veteran, Lynn was able to take advantage of the young man and end the match with a Cradle Piledriver. After the match Jimmy wiped away a tear from his eye as he kept mouthing Lacey’s name over and over.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jerry Lynn won by pinfall in 12:11</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ring of Honor Pure Wrestling Championship Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Nigel McGuinness© vs Delirious </p><p> </p><p> Could lightning strike twice? Well Delirious was hoping that would as he challenged one of the best champions ROH has seen in the reigning Pure Champion Nigel McGuiness. Delirious showed he certainly was no pushover in this, so much so that he even made Nigel use to quick ropebreaks. The tide of the match turned when Nigel began to focus on the arm and shoulder of Delirious, and at one point tried to separate his shoulder by repeated blows to the ring post on the outside. After Delirious had exhausted all of his ropebreaks Nigel was able to lock his opponent in the London Dungeon in the ropes, which gave Delirious no choice but to tap out.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Nigel McGuiness retained the ROH Pure Wrestling Championship by submission in 16:17</strong></p><p> </p><p> Matt Sydal and Jack Evans vs Jimmy Rave and Alex Shelley</p><p> </p><p> There was an obvious tension between Rave and Shelley that Prince Nana tried to quell early on in this contest. Evans and Sydal looked to represent Generation Next as best they could and were able to get the early advantage due to Rave and Shelley’s continuous miscommunication. Nana was able to rally his troops though and his words of wisdom worked wonders as Shelley was able to get the decision he needed for his confidence by making Sydal tap out to the Border City Stretch. Despite the win, there was an obvious tension still amongst the Embassy.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jimmy Rave and Ales Shelley won by submission in 14:56</strong></p><p> </p><p> AJ Styles vs Jimmy Yang</p><p> </p><p> Jimmy Yang was still looking to make a name for himself in ROH and what a better way to do it then by scoring a win against a former ROH Tag Team Champion in AJ Styles. Both men had connection from their WCW days and were able to showcase the junior style as well as a great technical match to wow the crowd. Styles did eventually gain the pinfall victory after a Styles Clash. Both men shook hands after what was a hard fought and athletic contest.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>AJ Styles won by pinfall in 14:28</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Austin Aries and Roderick Strong© vs Tony Mamaluke and Sal Rinauro</p><p> </p><p> As if Aries and Strong needed more motivation to retain the Tag Team straps tonight (knowing that they would be in the ring with the World and Pure Champions tomorrow) if they did), they looked from the onset as the better team and the more cohesive unit. Mamaluke and Rinauro had their offensive flurries, but a Backbreaker and 450 combo put down Sal Rinauro and the result was somewhat ‘routine’ for the best team in Ring of Honor.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Generation Next retained the ROH Tag Team Titles by pinfall in 15:32</strong></p><p> </p><p> Chris Hero vs Christopher Daniels (20:32)</p><p> </p><p> After the events of the 100th Show, the word for this match was irony. Despite trying to take ROH down in the beginning, Christopher Daniels was standing tall, ready to fight for the company. Chris Hero had the size advantage over Daniels, but that did not stop “The Fallen Angel” from taking it to him and taking control in multiple periods of the match. The finish would come after a very non-ROH ref bump and a steel chair shot from Claudio Castagnolli. Todd Sinclair came to and counted the fall for Hero as the two men stood over a bloody Daniels, much like they had done the week before over Samoa Joe.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chris Hero won by pinfall in 20:32</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Bryan Danielson© vs Claudio Castagnolli</p><p> </p><p> As the reigning World Champion, Danielson took the disrespect of the company he stood for very personally. And that anger and frustration was going to be taken out on the man who turned on the company in Claudio Castagnolli. Blinded by rage, Bryan was taken advantage of early and often by the sly and slick Swiss man. Claudio looked to have the title wrapped up after a Riccola Bomb, but Danielson was able to show some fighting spirit and lift his shoulder off of the mat. Bryan began to fight back and twice came close to knocking Claudio unconscious with roaring elbows. The match finally concluded when Danielson repeatedly dropped elbows on Claudio, causing Paul Turner to call a stop to the match. It did take referee Turner pulling Bryan off to have him stop with the MMA elbows. It was a statement sent by the Ring of Honor World Champion.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bryan Danielson retained the ROH World Heavyweight Title by referee stoppage in 21:11</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="38081" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Quick Results<p> The Briscoes won a four-way tag team match (C-)</p><p> BJ def. More to come in the coming weeks…</p><p> </p><p> <strong>ROH Pure Wrestling Champion Nigel McGcguinness</strong> has suffered an injury and will miss the second night of Weekend of Champions. So ROH officials have announced that <strong>BJ Whitmer</strong> (a man long overdue for a World Title match) will challenge <strong>Bryan Danielson</strong> for the ROH Title.</p><p> </p><p> That means that ROH Tag Team Champions <strong>Austin Aries and Roderick Strong</strong> have had to find new opponents for the evening. They will be challenged by <strong>Jimmy Jacobs and Adam Pearce</strong>!</p><p> </p><p> After the results from last night, ROH officials do not know whether or not <strong>Christopher Daniels</strong> will be in the building or not. He suffered a deep cut by the hands of the so called <strong>Kings of Wrestling</strong>. There will be one man who will be looking to take them down, and that man is <strong>Samoa Joe</strong>!</p><p> </p><p> • Speaking of the <strong>Kings of Wrestling</strong> they have announced that a new ‘kingdom’ will rise in ROH. What does that mean? Only they know.</p><p> • After going through what looks to be a rough patch, <strong>The Embassy</strong> will be looking to rebound as they participate in separate singles matches.</p><p> • <strong>The Briscoes</strong> are now #1 contenders to the Tag Team Titles and want to get their win back against <strong>AJ Styles and Matt Sydal</strong> from the 100th Show</p><p> • And <strong>Jerry Lynn</strong> looked impressive after his in-ring return after a win in Dayton, and on night two he will wrestle <strong>Homicide</strong>!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="38081" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The full Weekend of Champions Night Two card<p> </p><p> Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship</p><p> Bryan Danielson© vs BJ Whitmer</p><p> </p><p> Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship</p><p> Austin Aries and Roderick Strong© vs Jimmy Jacobs and Adam Pearce</p><p> </p><p> Jerry Lynn vs Homicide</p><p> </p><p> 100th Show Rematch</p><p> AJ Styles and Matt Sydal vs Jay and Mark Briscoe</p><p> </p><p> Samoa Joe vs Claudio Castagnolli</p><p> </p><p> Jimmy Rave vs Jack Evans</p><p> </p><p> Alex Shelley vs Delirious</p><p> </p><p> Four Corner Survival</p><p> Colt Cabana vs Jimmy Yang vs Jay Lethal vs Tony Mamaluke</p><p> </p><p> Ask the Fans: Who do you think will be the members of “The Kingdom”? Here is a hint…two are NOT on the roster and one is.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> OOC: I know that Christian wrestled in ROH a couple of occasions but his match is to help create some heat and start a good long running feud. I may bring him back again, but for now it is a one off match.</p>

<p>OOC: I wanted to let my readers know that Ares, a man from Chikara has been arrested (IN GAME) for second degree murder (WHAT?!?!?!?!) and will spend the next 15 years in jail. Thoughts?</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://s751.photobucket.com/user/tcox88/media/ROH1.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/tcox88/ROH1.jpg</span></a><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Weekend of Champions Night Two</strong></p><p><strong> Cleveland, OH</strong></p><p><strong> April 29, 2006</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="38081" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Lacey stood backstage with Jimmy Jacobs, a collar around her neck from taking the Wrist Clutch Exploder at the hands of BJ Whitmer. Jimmy looks in obvious distress, and the ever cool Adam Pearce leans against the wall with his arms folded.<p> </p><p> Lacey - “I cannot believe you let him touch me Jimmy. Now I wont be able to compete for a couple of weeks because of him. What were you thinking?”</p><p> </p><p> Jimmy – “Lacey baby, Im sorry. He hit me from…”</p><p> </p><p> Lacey – “Stop calling me baby! This is a damn business Jimmy. We are not together, I am not your baby! You, like Adam, work for me! And tonight I want BJ Whitmer taken out. You two will find a way to end him here in Ring of Honor. And if you do, there will be a nice pay check in it for you.”</p><p> </p><p> Pearce grinned slightly, although Jimmy still was trying to plead his love and affection for Lacey.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Colt Cabana vs Jimmy Yang vs Tony Mamaluke vs Jay Lethal</p><p> </p><p> Jay Lethal made his return to ROH, amid a mixed reaction from the ROH faithful. After his turning on Samoa Joe back in December at Steel Cage Warfare, many fans have found it hard to forgive him of his actions. Colt Cabana did his best to keep the crowd entertained with his unorthodox antics and styles of wrestling that frustrated Tony Mamaluke and kept Jimmy Yang on his toes. Lethal thought he had the match won after a Dragon Suplex on Mamaluke. But Yang clotheslined him out of the ring, sending Yang out as well. Cabana capitalized by making Tony tap out to the Billy Goat’s Curse.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Colt Cabana wins by submission in 12:26</strong></p><p> </p><p> Delirious vs Alex Shelley</p><p> </p><p> The Embassy set themselves on their own personal challenge for Night Two of Weekend of Champions. Shelley found himself against the masked mystery that was Delirious. The two had a great back-and-forth match that saw many nearfalls and submission attempts. Eager to avenge his loss the night before in the Pure Title Match, it was Delirious who came the closest to victory on a number of occasions. But it would ultimately be Alex Shelley who would find a way to finally put down Delirious after not one, but TWO Shellshocks!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Alex Shelley wins via pinfall in 12:38</strong></p><p> </p><p> Jerry Lynn vs Homicide</p><p> </p><p> Lynn impressed the night before with his win over Jimmy Jacobs, proving that he still has what it takes to compete in ROH with the younger talent. This time, he was up against a much tougher competitor in Homicide. What began as a great technical match, ended up showcasing how well both men could brawl. The match went in and out of the crowd at one point, with both men getting their fair share of shots in on one another. Homicide looked to have won the match after an Ace Crusher from the top rope, but the heart of Lynn proved to be too much as he was able to kick out. Lynn was able to reverse a Cop Killa and rolls up Homicide for the flash three count.</p><p> Clearly upset by the decision, Homicide made sure with the ref that it was a three count and offered his hand to Jerry Lynn in respect. Lynn accepted much to the delight of the Cleveland audience.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jerry Lynn defeats Homicide by pinfall in 15:08</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>100th Show Rematch</strong></p><p> </p><p> AJ Styles and Matt Sydal vs Jay and Mark Briscoe</p><p> </p><p> A determined and pissed of Jay and Mark Briscoe entered into their match with Styles and Sydal. And from the beginning, they took it to their competition by dominating the smaller and less experienced Matt Sydal. Styles was taken out early in the match after twice being rammed shoulder first into the ring post outside. In the absence of his partner, Matt Sydal took charge and gained the upperhand on the Briscoes, getting a couple of nearfalls on both brothers. Adrenaline kicked in for AJ as he attempted a comeback to help earn his team another win. A Spike J-Driller on Matt Sydal though, followed up by Mark hitting a Shooting Star Press was enough for the Briscoes to keep their momentum going.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jay and Mark Briscoe win by pinfall in 17:48</strong></p><p> </p><p> Jimmy Rave vs Jack Evans</p><p> </p><p> The very serious Jimmy Rave was clearly not impressed early on with the breakdancing and sideshowing of Jack Evans. The two had history having fought many times for the past couple of months in the Generation Next/Embassy War, but tonight it was a one-on-one contest that would prove who was the better competitor. Try as he did, Jack Evans couldn’t compete with the stronger and more technically sound Jimmy Rave. Evans showed his heart by kicking out of “Ghana-rhea” and getting out of the From Dusk Till Dawn submission hold. But a Pedigree from Rave dropped Evans on his head and kept him down for a count longer than three.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jimmy Rave pinned Jack Evans in 10:17</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Austin Aries and Roderick Strong© vs Jimmy Jacobs and Adam Pearce</p><p> </p><p> Once again Jimmy was not 100% into the match until a stricken Lacey made her way down to ringside to help cheer on her “business venture”. Adam Pearce did all he could to help keep Jimmy focused on becoming the ROG Tag Team Champions and it wasn’t a surprise when the two gained the upper hand during a couple portions of the contest. The deciding factor in the match wasn’t Lacey or Adam Pearce, but the experience of Aries and Strong as a tandem. A huge running kick from Roderick almost knocked the head of Adam Pearce clean off and that, coupled with a Brainbuster on Jimmy Jacobs, helped Roderick get the submission victory over Jacobs.</p><p> </p><p> Strong and Aries left the ring, but Lacey had a few choice words for Jimmy, and a few quick fire slaps across his face to help wake him up.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Aries and Strong retain the ROH Tag Team Titles by submission in 16:20</strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Bryan Danielson© vs BJ Whitmer</p><p> </p><p> BJ Whitmer was a man who ROH officials felt deserved a Ring of Honor World Title shot more than any man on the roster. He epitomized the phrase “tough as nails” and was a true hard working competitor. But he was going up against the self-proclaimed “best in the world” and was going to be put to the test. Danielson did his best to dominate the match with his superior technical abilities over BJ, but was shocked when BJ matched him in the early goings of the match move for move. What looked like a great athletic match quickly disintegrated into a brawl when Danielson grew frustrated with Whitmer for the way he was able to counter the champion’s wrestling abilities. Danielson showed why he was the World Champion by kicking out of the Exploder Suplex and the more dangerous Wrist Clutch Exploder. BJ was not to be undone as he himself showed heart and kicked out of a Regal Plex and Super Back Body Drop. Danielson was finally able to put BJ down with a series of 5 successive Roaring Elbows and passing out in the Cattle Mutilation submission hold. Danielson didn’t wait around to shake the hand of BJ, showing how close he came to losing the ROH World Title.</p><p> </p><p> As BJ was able to regain consciousness and get to his feet the ROH fans applauded his Herculean like effort. As he made his way to the back Lacey emerged and slowly started to walk towards him. She began running her mouth and letting BJ know EXACTLY how she felt about his actions. BJ began to approach but before he could touch her, Jimmy jumped from over the railing and began to assault Whitmer. Pearce joined from the back and the two put their boots and fists Lacey’s nemesis. They rolled him into the ring and held him as Lacey gingerly got into the ring and took off her heels. A few slaps across his face were followed up with numerous blows to the head with the heel of her high heeled shoe! Whitmer began to bleed and Lacey ended the attack with a kick to the groin of BJ. She stood over him and told Jimmy to ‘finish it’. Jimmy left the ring, grabbed two chairs and with the help of Pearce, gave BJ a Con-Chair-To! Finally pleased, Lacey embraced Jimmy and smiled as they left BJ to be attended to by ROH officials and referees.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bryan Danielson retained the ROH World Title by submission in 17:35</strong></p><p> </p><p> Samoa Joe vs Claudio Castagnolli</p><p> </p><p> Joe was out for vengeance tonight, just one week removed from the assault he suffered at the hands of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnolli, the Kings of Wrestling. Joe didn’t even wait for the ring bell to begin to tear apart his opponent. Castagnolli tried to cover up as much as he could from the strikes and kicks of Samoa Joe, before finally getting in his first bit of offense early on. The match took a turn when Chris Hero jumped in from the audience and attacked Joe, causing Todd Sinclair to call for the match to be thrown out. Hero and Castagnolli grabbed a steel chair and looked to put down Joe like they had done the week before…until an unlikely hero came to aid Joe in the form of Christopher Daniels! Hero and Claudio ran from the ring as Daniels helped Joe up and shook his hand. Joe grabbed the mic from Bobby Cruise and looked at the Kings.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="38081" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Joe – “Why don’t the two of you p****** get back into this ring right now, and we will finish what the two of you started last week in Philly!”</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The fans erupted and the Kings obliged. The match quickly became a brawl with referee Sinclair allowing the rules to be relaxed as the four men brawled throughout the arena and back into the ring. Hero and Castagnolli were able to gain the advantage as the match progressed with false tags, eye gouges, and at one point a low blow on Joe behind the back of the referee. Once Joe was able to tag in Daniels though, the tide of the match turned once more and it was the Kings who were the ones with their backs against the walls. The match edged towards a conclusion when Joe showed Claudio the bottom of his boot with an ‘Ole Ole Kick’. Then there was a bit of great team work when Joe hit Hero with a Muscle Buster, only for Daniels to follow up with a Best Moonsault Ever for the dream team of Joe and Daniels to win the match. A tandem the ROH fans thought they would never see had gotten a huge win of the Kings of Wrestling to cap off the weekend. They knew though, that this was far from over.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels defeated the Kings of Wrestling by pinfall in 25:41(Joe and Claudio went to a DQ in 7:17)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="38081" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Quick Results<p> Colt Cabana won a Four Corner Survival ©</p><p> Alex Shelley def.
