Bad Collin Posted August 21, 2014 Share Posted August 21, 2014 This is my first dynasty so please bear with me while I learn how to do this. I am not good with graphics so this diary will be basic looking but I think I have a good story to tell. Booking NYCW in 2028 has been the most fun I have had with TEW and I need to write this down. In addition I think that writing this will help me flesh out my characters some more. This game started out as a RTG game but once the challenge was completed I stopped following the RTG rules and tried to make NYCW number one in the world. The story so far: Bad Collin was 18 when he made his professional wrestling debut. He defeated Alton Vicious on the first show held by minuscule promotion British Professional Wrestling (BPW) and his path to glory had begun. Collin was booker for this upstart promotion and success for both company and wrestler quickly followed. After five year of rapid growth BPW was a regional powerhouse and were hot on the heels of leading British promotion 21CW. Collin defeated Nigel Svensson in January 2019 to win his first British title but within a year he had left the country. Life in the UK proved to prosaic for the ambitious Londoner and he packed his bags and left for the United States. Employment opportunities were few and far between and Collin was without a wrestling company for nearly two years. A chance meeting with new NYCW owner Pee Wee Germaine led to the start of a friendship and an offer of a dream job. NYCW rose quickly under Collin's stewardship. Collin was an unknown in the US when he made his debut in August 2021 but quickly formed an successful alliance with Noreis Roux and Bradley Blaze. Collin and Roux won the NYCW tag titles in October 2022 and since then Collin has held every belt available to him and become a wrestling icon to match Cornell himself. No less remarkable was the rise of New York's finest wrestling promotion. NYCW's old school style was revitalised by Collin's simple story telling and engaging characters. In January 2028 NYCW stands as a national powerhouse ready to lock horns with the might of the big three. This is the birth of an empire. Credits: Not sure. Heartbreak survives a number of near falls but finally falls victim to a Bad Driver at 11.16 to go 2-0 down. This is when Heartbreak catches a break, he hammers Collin with a superkick and the champion's wounds from Broken Empire open up. Blood gets in Collin's eyes and his strength is obviously sapped. The sell out crowd start to anticipate something special when Heartbreak pulls it back to 2-1 with a pinfall after a Heart Attack twisting moonsault at 23.24. Collin survives near fall after near fall and at 28.06 he asks the referee to check his head wound, as the referee does so Noreis Roux and The Pilgrim cheap shot the challenger and Collin coasts to an undeserved victory. If we get a DeColt/David Stone alliance I will REALLY mark out. As for Fro Sure at #1 in the 500? Wow! Would love to hear how the Paratroopers got on. He and Aaron Andrews have fought over a hundred times. "I'm a proud Canadian and so when my good friend Steve DeColt asked me to make a little investment I was so glad to do so. This a present from your humble commissioner to you." Gilmore removes the felt to reveal the shiny North of the Border Pro Wrestling Canadian Title. DeColt: He got the wrong one Courtney: You what? DeColt: Nothing Gilmore continues. "NOTBPW had always provided such incredible entertainment. I remember as a young man in Canada watching Jeremy Stone and Craig Prince battle over this belt and now it is here in NYCW. NOTBPW may be dead but I hope it can live on in some way here. The new era of Canadian wrestling will begin at Rush hour live on PPV as Jon Powell takes on Noreis Roux to be the first NOTBPW champion for over two years. Gilmore takes his plaudits, smiles to the cameras and walks up the ramp.
