21CW: Even Angels Fall

Recommended Posts

Sunday, Week 3, February 2014

We here at ProWrestlingUK wanted to bring you a comprehensive round-up of 21CW's roster to celebrate their World War 7 show last night, but the bottom of the card has been resembling a revolving door recently, with so many brought in on short-term deals. Instead, here's our take on the top 16 acts in the company as it stands.

The Good Guys

Main Event

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/DarkAngel_zps2cc3e609.jpg

Dark Angel

They said Cliff Wilson was finished. The man they called Dark Angel was washed up, ready to pass the torch to a new generation. There were even rumours that he'd end up as a trainer in the new development federation, Ring of Fury.

All of the smart fans thought Steel Cage Challenge would be his last main event. That Jonathan Faust would lay Dark Angel to rest. But he fought back, and won a heinous battle.

Then we got to World War 7, and the rumours started again. One last day in the sun, surely. One final title shot. But when the match was over, one man was left standing - and it wasn't Edward Cornell. The fans went crazy as Dark Angel won his second 21CW World title.

They still say the end must be near. They still say he can't have long left. They have to be right eventually.

Don't they?

Adam Matravers

Matravers kicked off the year in fine form, chasing Edward Cornell's World title. However, he was unable to pull off the win at Steel Cage Challenge, and also came agonisingly close at World War 7, where he and Jonathan Faust eliminated each other as they were down to the final four in the big battle royal.

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/HarryWilson_zps9c397923.jpg

Harry Wilson

Caught up in Dark Angel's war against Jonathan Faust and Luke Cool, Wilson has had a couple of good wins so far this year, but came up short when given a title shot against Edward Cornell in January. Now big brother has the belt, we're expecting him to settle into a supporting role.

Defence Force

The older statesmen of the tag division pulled off a big victory the week before Steel Cage Challenge, winning the titles from Absolutely Flawless in a good bout. However, it was to be a short-lived success, with the reformed Cockney Rebels defeating them at World War 7.

Upper Midcard

Daniel Black Francis

DBF has always been a supporter of younger wrestlers, and this attitude has led to him taking issue with the bullies running rampant through 21CW at the moment. That's already gotten him into fights with Danny Patterson, Harley Neill and Brickhouse Balder, but worse was to come a few weeks ago on TV. He'd given then-World champion Edward Cornell a week's notice of his intent to cash-in the title shot he won in a four-way at Crisis Point, but that also gave his many enemies in the company time to prepare. As he set up the Dreadlock Drop for what would, two of the losers in that match made their presence felt - Philip Cooper distracting the ref as Stevie Stoat slid in to lay him out with a massive powerslam. Francis, unsurprisingly, was furious, and eliminated both men from the battle royal at World War 7, but couldn't quite hold on to win it, being the last of the 8 men Ivan Ivanoff threw out.

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/WadeOrson_zps3391a6bc.jpg

Wade Orson

Since getting together with Melanie Florence, Wade Orson has looked unstoppable, although there have been scathing comments made about his choice of opponents in defending the UK belt he won from Luke Cool. He claims that he's showing respect to the stars of the past by facing opponents like Pigeon Mask and the UK Wrecking Crew, others have suggested he's looking for an easy way out. Whether or not you believe that, you have to be impressed by the World War 7 win over Joss Thompson.

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/NigelSvensson_zpsc5506522.jpg

Nigel Svensson

Jeff Nova is a fan of the Swede, as he makes clear approximately 78 times an episode of Best of British Wrestling. He's done little in the ring so far and there's a vocal contingent backstage unhappy about the focus being given to a newcomer given that solid hands like Nate Manchester and K'Lee Hawkins have had barely any air time so far this year.

The Bad Guys

Main Eventers

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/JonathanFaust_zps199d0a5a.jpg

Jonathan Faust

For those of you relatively new to 21CW, Jonathan Faust used to be known as Rod 'The God' Todd. He worked a religious gimmick which was scrapped when Jeff Nova took over the fed and got a TV deal, for fear of offending networks. While he's still using the Faust name, recent developments have seen his character move much closer to the old Todd one, as he talks of bringing war to 21CW and cleansing the unworthy. Of course, his attempt to stop the 'blasphemous' Dark Angel didn't go to well, dropping the match at Steel Cage Challenge. But with new acolyte Luke Cool in his corner, and speculation that more will join him soon, we're still expecting this to be a big year for the preacher man.

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/EdwardCornell_zps3e06dfd3.jpg

Edward Cornell

Tommy C's kid cousin has made a real impact in recent years, but not had the best of starts to 2014. He dealt with the challenge of Adam Matravers in January but couldn't fight off Dark Angel at World War 7, leaving him without a title for the first time since last April.

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/KevinJones_zpsda059134.jpg

Kevin Jones

As Jones's business consultant Kathleen Lee has expanded her empire, the tough guy has taken something of a back seat in the ring - while making an impact out of it. His loose alliance with The Cockney Rebels and Brickhouse Balder has drawn the ire of Daniel Black Francis as they terrify and attack younger wrestlers in 21CW.

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/JossThompson_zpscea67a05.jpg

Joss Thompson

There's talk of Jonathan Faust building up an army of the righteous, but it'll take some recruitment before it gets to the size of Kathleen Lee's stable. She's been scouting all year and the four men she's currently managing are some of the most talented individuals in 21CW. Gem in the crown, though, has to be Joss Thompson. It's been rare for Americans to last long in 21CW, but Thompson has been a major player for nearly eight years now. That said, he was on the wrong end of an upset at World War 7, losing to Wade Orson.

Upper Midcard

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/IvanIvanoff_zps0c42637d.jpghttp://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/IgorIvanoff_zps6d742d7c.jpg

The Ivanoffs

World War 7 was a night of strange results. Many fans were surprised by Wade Orson beating Joss Thompson; most were shocked to see Dark Angel win another World title. But EVERYONE was stunned to see Ivan Ivanoff dominate the battle royal, throwing out 8 men himself en route to winning. It's a decision that apparently has been hugely unpopular backstage with many established solo stars furious at a tag wrestler getting a big push and a title shot; however there's no question that the Russian brothers' alliance with The Steamroller has lit a fire under them and Nova clearly wants to strike while the iron is hot.

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/PhillipCooper_zps35d2d585.jpghttp://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/StevieStoat_zpsd0742cb0.jpg

Philip Cooper and Stevie Stoat

The egomanical Cooper has been a fixture in the top few matches so far this year on Best of British Wrestling, defeating Wade Orson but losing to Dark Angel and Adam Matraverse, before having similarly mixed results in his new team with Stevie Stoat. The pair incurred the wrath of Daniel Black Francis when they cost him his long-awaited World title shot a few weeks ago.

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/BuffMartinez_zps1fe7b154.jpghttp://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/JayB_zpsd4344f7d.jpg

Hot Stuff

Buff Martinez and Jay B haven't had much to do so far this year, but they have to hope that the singles push for Ivan Ivanoff leaves a space to be filled in the tag ranks. However, with the Cockney Rebels reformed and holding the belts, Faust wrestling some tag matches with Luke Cool, and Philip Cooper and Stevie Stoat pairing up, it's difficult to see them being at the top end of the card. Could their new alliance with Kathleen Lee rejuvenate them?

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/JohnnyStones_zps906efd7f.jpg

Rolling Johnny Stones

Your guess is as good as ours, basically. We're listing him here because with his pedigree it seems crazy not to, but he hasn't appeared on TV at all this year. The three-minute spot in the battle royal at World War 7 before Ivan Ivanoff eliminated him suggests an injury we're not aware of may be an issue, but the complete lack of reference to him on TV doesn't bode well for his future.

Lineup for Best of British Wrestling, Thursday, February Week 4, 2014

Wade Orson has said he'll defend his UK title against anyone, anywhere, any time - and has called on the greats of the past to take him up on the challenge. Your definition of 'greats' might have to be loose to incorporate Pigeon Mask and Bruiser, but this time the competition is a step-up - former ROF #1 Contender Champion and Tag Champion Walter Morgan, a legend in the gyms of Wigan.

Harry Wilson was the first man eliminated from the battle royal at World War 7, with Danny Patterson and Luke Cool double teaming him and hurling him out virtually straight away. He'll be aiming to bounce back - as will Joss Thompson, who challenged for Wade Orson's UK championship unsuccessfully.

And in a massive main event, former Triple Crown champion Adam Matravers goes one-on-one with two-time World champion Jonathan Faust!

Plus! The Pride vs Stevie Stoat and Phillip Cooper, Defence Force vs Hot Stuff, and Crouching Storm, Hidden Sifu vs The Ivanoffs as we showcase the tag ranks here at 21CW! Don't miss all the excitement this Thursday!

Quick predictions:

UK title: Wade Orson © vs Walter Morgan

The Pride vs Stevie Stoat and Phillip Cooper

Defence Force vs Hot Stuff

Crouching Storm, Hidden Sifu vs The Ivanoffs

Harry Wilson vs Joss Thompson

Adam Matravers vs Jonathan Faust

Quick question, is this the 2013 data and you played into 2014? Or is this the 2014 data?

I have tired to play 21CW (It has been some time since I fired up a 21CW game) but for some reason my shows always tank and their roster seems way too bloated even for someone like me who likes to play with bloated rosters.

2014 data. :)

As for bloated rosters... let's just say that problem doesn't go away. I think in my first nine months in charge I've used 75% of available British wrestlers at least once. (Some only in dark matches, to be fair.)

Show should be up tomorrow, trying to decide on a format I'm happy with. Think I have one!

Feedback would be massively welcome; I'm not used to doing big shows like this, but hopefully it's a decent enough read. I'll post a bit later with the match and show grades (shamelessly ripping off Self there!) and have next card's preview up as well.

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/JeffNova_zps953a9df5.jpg

We open up with 21CW owner and colour commentator Jeff Nova.

"Welcome, fans, to the Hibernian Arena in my own bonny Scotland for another action-packed episode of Best of British Wrestling! Coming up - Defence Force against Hot Stuff, Harry Wilson versus Joss Thompson, and what I have nae doubt will be a cracking main event as Adam Matravers renews his rivalry with Jonathan Faust - remember, just five days ago these two eliminated each other from the big battle royal at World War 7, which Ivan Ivanoff won to earn a title shot!

And while it's great that you're watching on TV, if you get the chance to check us out live, remember you'll see more stars, more action, and more great matches! Our grand fans here in Scotland have just seen the Superstar Swede pull off another victory, Nigel Svensson making Kelvin Badberry tap to the Hyper Extension Arm Lock, fast becoming one of the most feared moves in all of 21CW. But och, enough about what you've missed - let's look at what you're going to see over the next two hours. Starting with Wade Orson defending his UK Championship against Walter Morgan, the former Ring of Fire star!"

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/21CW_zpsbf359dfa.jpg

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/WadeOrson_zps3391a6bc.jpghttp://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/vs_zps0697f4f0.jpghttp://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/WalterMorgan_zps2214a2a9.jpg

WADE ORSON vs WALTER MORGAN

* This is a respectful match fought in good spirit, the pair shaking hands to start things off and avoiding strikes for the most part to instead trade holds on the mat.

* It's nearly three and a half years since Walter Morgan wrestled in front of a crowd of more than a few hundred, but the 5,000 fans here don't faze him, and there are times when it looks like the veteran will pull off a shock, as he single-mindedly focuses on Orson's left leg and works it over with punishing holds.

* In the end, though, Morgan's age seems to tell against him - the younger man is clearly in better shape, and takes control when he powers out of an ankle lock attempt.

* It's the Bounce Back, Orson's running bulldog, which takes the victory for the champion in the end.

Winner - and still UK champion: Wade Orson

Backstage, Stevie Stoat cuts a promo as Brickhouse Balder glowers menacingly.

"You've got a bloody nerve, Daniel Francis! I've been in wrestling twenty years now, and it is a time-honoured British tradition for men like me, Brickhouse here, and the Cockney Rebels to kick the arses of those people who've been here all of five minutes. We're doing them a favour by toughening them up, alright? So we thought we'd teach you to keep your nose out of our business by costing you that title match, only you don't seem to be too bright, Danny Boy. You caught me on an off day at World War 7. If you've got any sense, you'll leave it at that, and let us get on with what we do best."

THE PRIDE vs PHILLIP COOPER and STEVIE STOAT

* Daniel Black Francis wanders down to ringside as this match starts, joining Jeff Nova and Steve Smith on commentary duties.

* As the two teams fight an evenly-matched contest, DBF tells Nova and Smith that he thinks both Stoat and Cooper are talented contestants, but hates the way they choose to behave, fighting without honour.

* The pair show everyone exactly what he means as they isolate Price and double team him in their corner, managing to get some cheap shots in and draw in a furious Leigh Burton, only to take advantage of this to choke Price out with the tag rope as the referee gets him out of the ring again.

* Cooper loses momentum by showboating, though, planting Price with a DDT and leaping to the top rope, where he stands for what seems like ages taunting Francis before leaping off with a massive elbow drop - which finds nothing but mat.

* Burton is in like a house on fire, and wails away on Phillip Cooper, then hurls him into Stoat like a javelin, pretty much forcing the tag.

* Stoat comes in warily but Burton is quickly on top of him as well, and the greater tag experience of The Pride shows as it's now time for them to cut the ring in two and score with some double teams of their own.

* Eventually, Burton locks on a Sleeper Hold, Price charges Cooper as he tries to save, and Stoat can't fight it off any longer.

Winners: The Pride

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/21CW_zpsbf359dfa.jpg

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/DanielFrancis_zps6b02461a.jpg

Post-match, as the Pride leave, Daniel Black Francis enters the ring, mic in hand.

"You know man, I was trying to work out what it was you did best, but I think I just saw that - you choke, Stevie. Hey, Stevie, wake up!"

Stoat starts to stir, as on the outside, Cooper looks like he's thinking of charging in, but decides not to.

"Come on, Stevie. I don't want to take you away from your sweet dreams of beating up a guy half your age, but you're taking up space in the ring! Rise and shine, Smasher. "

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/21CW_zpsbf359dfa.jpg

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/PitBullBrown_zps180ed1e6.jpghttp://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/DJReason_zps297ccd2a.jpghttp://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/vs_zps0697f4f0.jpghttp://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/BuffMartinez_zps1fe7b154.jpghttp://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/JayB_zpsd4344f7d.jpg

THE DEFENCE FORCE vs HOT STUFF

* This is an out and out brawl, with all four men taking it to each other with hard shots, and young referee Lucy Mason really struggling to keep control.

* Hot Stuff may be two of the dirtiest players in 21CW, but for all their playing to the fans, DJ and Pit Bull aren't above taking short cuts themselves, and we see plenty of dubious practices here.

* Hot Stuff manage to isolate DJ Reason until Buff Martinez catches him with an illegal low blow, which nearly draws the DQ. However as he protests that it was an accident, Mason gives him the benefit of the doubt, merely escorting him back to his corner.

* Pit Bull takes advantage of this to enter the ring and roll DJ out, claiming to Mason that he made the tag behind her back.

* The youngster seems unsure about what to do here and looks to the crowd for advice, asking if he really did come in legally. With the majority of the fans playing along with the Pit Bull, she allows him to remain in the ring, and he hits Jay B with the Dog House Piledriver to secure the win.

Winners: Defence Force

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/21CW_zpsbf359dfa.jpg

Cliff King cuts a promo backstage, backed up by the menacing War Machine. "You know something, Jeff Nova, it is criminal the way you overlook homegrown British talent like this man here, trained at your very own National School of Wrestling, to focus on people like Nigel Svensson! We will not be ignored for much longer, mark my words."

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/21CW_zpsbf359dfa.jpg

CROUCHING STORM, HIDDEN SIFU vs THE IVANOFFS

* This is short, and relatively painless to watch, but there's never really any doubt as to the result.

* The commentators spend significantly more time talking about the fall-out from World War 7 than what's going on in the ring.

* Big talking points in their discussion obviously include Ivan winning the battle royal, but also focus on Absolutely Flawless's impressive run, both making the final eight as they double-teamed a lot of opponents, and Nigel Svensson's impact in reaching the last five and eliminating three much bigger men, War Machine, Bruiser and Nightmare.

* Sifu and Storm bump a lot, The Ivanoffs show off their power, and a Soviet Missile from Igor on Sifu finishes things.

Winners: Ivanoffs

Post-match, the Ivanoffs clearly feel they haven't done enough damage, and pick up Storm and Sifu to carry on wailing away. Sprinting from the back, though, are Harry Wilson and Dark Angel, and the pair slide in to chase off the Russian team.

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/21CW_zpsbf359dfa.jpg

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/JossThompson_zpscea67a05.jpghttp://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/KathleenLee_zpse5176c04.jpg

Accompanied by Kathleen Lee, Joss Thompson comes out for his match. "I gotta guess that a lot of people were expecting me to come out here and make excuses. To claim I'd had a bad night's sleep, or that I wasn't feeling 100%, and that's why Wade Orson beat me. Nope. Wade Orson beat me for one reason. He wanted it more than I did.

There's a ripple of confusion in the crowd - is Joss Thompson really acknowledging he lost fair and square? He smirks.

"And that's not surprising, is it? Because you see, Wade, for you, that title - like that old woman by your side - is as good as it will ever get for you. It is the pinnacle of your career, the only thing you'll achieve of note before you retire. But for me? It would've been a step down. A three-time World champion doesn't care about a belt like that. I've got my eyes on a bigger prize.

Dark Angel - good luck against Ivan Ivanoff. Because I'm gonna be next."

The crowd jeers, as Thompson and Lee embrace.

JOSS THOMPSON vs HARRY WILSON

* Early on, we have a technical showcase, with both men trading holds and lots of reversals.

* Thompson takes control after a great sequence of counters, as he slips out of a German suplex attempt to hit a big atomic drop on Wilson.

* On commentary, Smith and Nova talk about the American's lack of respect for Wade Orson, but put over his great career, with a 17 month MOSC UK title reign, a tag team championship with Leo Price, and three World title runs here in 21CW.

* Wilson tries to get back into things but Thompson seems to be able to either counter or just shrug off most of his offence.

* The Clean Cutter finishes for The Complete Package, giving the American a huge win.

Winner: Joss Thompson

http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah53/jadedwrestling/JAMES/21CW_zpsbf359dfa.jpg

Jonathan Faust comes out to the ring and demands a mic.

"Adam Matravers, time to face the Devil. You may think you're a big shot because you've held some titles here, but so have I. And at the end of the day, you'll never be able to get what I have.

Because when you dance with the Devil... you're going to get dropped."

JONATHAN FAUST vs ADAM MATRAVERS

* Matravers starts off at a fast pace, constantly thwarting the bigger man by sliding out of the way of attacks or leapfrogging them.

* Faust takes control by catching a cross body attempt and turning it into a fallaway slam, but despite hitting some big moves, can't get more than a two count.

* As Faust goes for a powerbomb, Matravers reverses with a great flying headscissors, and from there on the momentum changes completely, Mile High getting two and three quarters with a big splash, two and seven eighths with a diving headbutt, and two and nine tenths with a senton splash.

* In the end, though, it's Faust's acolyte Luke Cool who makes the difference, appearing through the crowd and leaping up to the apron to shake the ropes as Matravers goes for his Mile High Moonsault.

* With Matravers slipping and hitting the ground hard, he's easy pickings for the former World champion's Devil's Drop.

Winner: Jonathan Faust

Post match, a video plays, showing the highlights from the last month or so, especially World War 7, and plugging the chance to order the replay.

Jeff Nova talks about how excited he is for Dark Angel vs Ivan Ivanoff in just three and a half weeks time, and announces he's just heard we have a huge main event next week - Harry Wilson, Dark Angel and Adam Matravers vs Jonathan Faust, Luke Cool, and Edward Cornell!

I liked this style, I tend to not read match write-ups when people do those long War & Peace like write-ups. So I like the fact that you used bullet points and you basically gave us highlights of what was happening.

The promos were nice and to the point as well.

The promos came across as very natural and very English. Which you are so I guess it came naturally.:) That is one thing I used to always worry about when I was doing diaries. If I had a worker from England or even Canada (Or any country besides the United States for that matter) and I was writing promos for them, could I make them sound natural.

I mean I do watch a ton of English shows but no matter how much Dr. Who, Are You Being Served?, or Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes, I watch I never felt like I nailed how British people talk.

Okay enough rambling from me, great first show and I should have picked Jonathan Faust to win because he is my favorite UK wrestler.

Lineup for Best of British Wrestling, Thursday, March Week 1, 2014

Kathleen Lee debuts her new signing, a multi-time champion with another British federation! Speaking of former title holders elsewhere, three-time MOSC tag champion Jeremy Allen gets a chance to win his second ever solo belt as he takes on Wade Orson for Orson's UK gold.

Nigel Svensson's rise through the ranks has been rapid, while Walter Morgan returned to the big time last week with an unsuccessful challenge of Orson. When these two submissions specialists collide, will it be the Hyper Extension Arm Lock or the Wigan Wrench that gets the victory?

And there's a huge six-man main event! Last time around, we saw Luke Cool make the difference as he cost Adam Matravers the match against Jonathan Faust. Matravers has a quick chance for revenge on both men, as he teams with Harry Wilson and his brother Dark Angel, the new World champion, to go against Faust, Cool and the man Dark Angel beat for the belt, Edward Cornell!

Plus more tag action, as Crouching Storm, Hidden Sifu go against Hot Stuff and the returning Future X take on Phillip Cooper and Stevie Stoat!

Quick predictions:

Wade Orson vs Jeremy Allen

BW Eddie vs ??? (Kathleen Lee's new signing)

Crouching Storm, Hidden Sifu vs Hot Stuff

Future X vs Phillip Cooper and Stevie Stoat

Nigel Svensson vs Walter Morgan

Adam Matravers, Harry Wilson and Dark Angel vs Jonathan Faust, Luke Cool and Edward Cornell

Bonus: Who is Kathleen Lee's new signing?

Wade Orson vs Jeremy Allen

BW Eddie vs ??? (Kathleen Lee's new signing)

??? is pretty much undefeated in any diary that they are in so I think that streak shall continue.

Crouching Storm, Hidden Sifu vs Hot Stuff

Future X vs Phillip Cooper and Stevie Stoat

Nigel Svensson vs Walter Morgan

Nigel is the man, I always bring him in when I run any of the smaller American promotions even if he does not fit the product (NYCW I am looking at you).

Adam Matravers, Harry Wilson and Dark Angel vs Jonathan Faust, Luke Cool and Edward Cornell

Yes I know I said I should have picked Jonathan Faust to win on the last show and who knows I probably should pick him to win on this show as well. I just think that the other team has the greater star power.

Bonus: Who is Kathleen Lee's new signing? I shall go with what DaveFan said and pick Don Henderson.

In 2013 you need to keep Dark Angel as the focus of your shows. Like pretty heavy. Use him in Solo overness angles then have him ME on TE and then stall until the PPV where you should be able to go up pretty easily.

21CW is all about worker development so it gets a lot easier as it goes. The roster is always super bloated so make use of frequent Battle Royales.

Ricky Storm, Wade Orson, and Leigh Burton are usually tremendous prospects to start out with....and War Machine is useful.

Edward Cornell is about a year away to start from being a quality main eventer but he can develop to be one of, if not the best on the roster.

Brickhouse Badler, Nightmare, Bedlam, Michael X, Joe Simpson and BW Eddie and Nate Manchester all got the axe for me.

The thing with UK is you get a TREMENDOUS amount of pre-gen prospects from National School of Wrestling and you might get useful new gens if you play medium.

His current setup seems pretty solid...Harry Wilson in ME is a bit surprising as well as Cooper in Upper Midcard but everything else seems normal outside of Nigel being pushed as a Main Eventer.

Wade Orson vs Jeremy Allen

Wade's the companies top prospect under 30. No brainer.

BW Eddie vs ??? (Kathleen Lee's new signing)

Prediction is Oleg D. Just because he seems like the type to use a manager.

Crouching Storm, Hidden Sifu vs Hot Stuff

CS. HS is a slow burn. Both are pretty tremendous assets but not yet.

Future X vs Phillip Cooper and Stevie Stoat

Future jobbers.

Nigel Svensson vs Walter Morgan

I guess.

Adam Matravers, Harry Wilson and Dark Angel vs Jonathan Faust, Luke Cool and Edward Cornell

Dark Angel can't drop too many matches.

Bonus: Who is Kathleen Lee's new signing? Oleg
