January 2000, Week 4

South East, Mid-South Coliseum (10,058)

Pre-Show

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Crowbar defeated Steve Armstrong in 6:18 by pinfall with a Northern Lights Suplex. 36/100

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Creative Control defeated The Mamalukes in 7:38 when Gerald defeated Johnny The Bull by submission. 38/100

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Kaz Hayashi defeated Evan Karagias in 8:01 by pinfall with a Senton Back Splash. 37/100

Expected the last match to be better, but Karagias and Hayashi didn't click. I can feel that good morale is helping already - only D's in the dark part of the show.

To open the show, I gave the fans their world heavyweight champion - Bret "The Hitman" Hart. Champion read a brief promo about his match last Sunday. Canadian behaved very confident, even cocky, if you will. Speech was interrupted by Hart's partner in crime (one of them) - Kevin Nash.

Big Kev said he is unhappy that Hart never thanked him for his attempt to become the referee, even if he was unlucky to win. Hart smiled...

"You are the one who must be thankful, Kev. I gave you a ppv match out of nowhere, you failed, and now you expect me to kiss your ass? You LOST! Again."

Nash is livid, but guess who is angrier? Scott Steiner. He is not alone, Jeff Jarrett is strutting alongside.

http://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/69/a501a3cdd8adcd25b2565e923fed1a69.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/09/9c9572d2bb8065c7d362cce5ac919309.jpg

Steiner: "Hey, you two, stop bitching around. Save your arguments for later, we have a bigger problem in front of us - Roddy freakin' Piper! That trailer park trash with a girly skirt..."

Jarrett: "...That booked me in a title defence tonight. You won't defend your strap tonight, aren't you, Hitman?"

Hart: "I did it last night, pal. And you didn't. You simulated a head concussion, because you want to be like me, in every possible way..."

All four members of NWO 2000 start a dirty language exhibition. It all ends up when Nash says "screw you" to all of them. Bret left the ring to apologise, Jarrett left the ring to continue his argument with "The Hitman"... "Big Poppa Pump" wanted a fight, so he stayed in the ring.

"Piper, you son of a bitch, give me a match!" 74/100

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Scott Steiner defeated Kanyon in 7:37 by submission. 69/100

Kanyon tried to get his revenge on Steiner for kicking him out of tag team turmoil match at Souled Out. Unsuccessfull.

Steiner finally hit his pose, and left the ring. Right at the Turner Tron, he was approached by current tag team champions - Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero. Two on one brawl started, but very quickly it became 3 on 2, because Blue Bloods made the run in.

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Eddie & Benoit defeated The Blue Bloods in 9:35 when Chris Benoit defeated David Taylor by pinfall with a Dragon Suplex. 70/100

Hmm, smooth so far. It can't be so easy to rule WCW, trick is waiting around the corner.

Shane Douglas is backstage, checking the match card.

"Jim Duggan? What? Again?"

"Franchise" decides to put an end to this, and goes straight to Berlyn's locker room. 48/100

Yeah, that's bad. I expected to see surprises later, but oh well.

Norman Smiley is already in the ring, his judgement day has come.

http://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/eb/d9568d0fcd7ce7ed4ffa959af210cdeb.jpghttp://i66.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/51/831f0f85b6bd02c7ca60df59ab952a51.jpghttp://i66.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/c3/5ea204b1435e270df1b900919a02e1c3.jpg

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Norman Smiley in 5:37 by submission. 47/100

"Beast From the East" adds a huge moonsault on top of his beating, then grabs the cameraman and yells:

"Vicious, look out not only for Meng, but for me too! I'm the next hardcore champion, believe that! Meng, you're gonna pay for stealing my match, barbarian! Both of you must be very careful from now on, because my hunt season for the belt has began!" 44/100

http://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/72/a7e141ab53c924eddf590932e8622272.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/05/7bc782dc05182e2c9be527871984a305.jpghttp://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/f0/c02d6e4546d1012c01de60ce481cf5f0.jpg

Douglas comes in Berlyn's locker room, and starts to talk his ass off. Berlyn doesn't like it, he nods at Madusa...

"Mr. Douglas, herr Berlyn can't understand your pathetic language. Speak German or talk with me!"

"Franchise" is silent for a moment, but then he point his fingers on Gerald and Patrick, bodyguards of Berlyn.

http://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/97/bf3225cae7edadc62f85bf4223c79197.jpghttp://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/c5/ff32e3c5855beb028df039f51943fcc5.jpg

"I want both of them, right now! And if you're not giving me them, you can fight in a 4 on 1 handicap match, herr."

Douglas leaves the locker room, smashing the door after himself. 45/100

It's time for our title match!

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Jeff Jarrett defeated Vampiro and Dustin Rhodes in 7:48 when Jeff Jarrett defeated Rhodes by pinfall. Jeff Jarrett makes defence number 1 of his WCW United States title. 63/100

Jarrett chose Dustin as his target, and kept himself away from Vampiro. First title defence is nowhere near Hitman's.

http://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/54/8d7378f2a04abcd45b15f1c6a32a6854.jpg

Backstage we find Jim Duggan all battered, and with a good amount of hair ripped off his hair. He's clearly not participating in his match tonight. 41/100

http://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/7c/fb7bd1bd2547993bb3b1a26ada1d237c.jpghttp://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/41/3dfde764818553cb439e29077691a641.jpghttp://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/a5/c76258df7cd6e133e9764071683dcea5.jpghttp://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/6d/954067eb6e6de328590e72fc29314d6d.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/35/2610c541ca7933143a1ff90750dd0f35.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/e8/336900bf523c2fa6049d29319571f3e8.jpghttp://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/aa/e40cb983e22c767ec505c1f7496d47aa.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/8c/2786430b3b46f9506e0df7c60375628c.jpg

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Berlyn, Shane Douglas and The Revolution defeated Terry Funk and The Varsity Club in 8:28 when Shane Douglas defeated Terry Funk by pinfall with a Franchiser. 58/100

Berlyn kept himself out of action, all the work was done by Malenko, Saturn and Douglas. As soon as his side guaranteed a victory, Berlyn left the ring on the shoulders of Gerald. Strange...

Booker T practices "shadow boxing", until Mean Gene asks him for a few words. Booker lets the world know that Konnan was the weak link in his most recent team, also adding that whoever takes the place in his corner will be a weak link. Booker calls himself the "MVP of WCW", then starts talking trash on his opponent for tonight - Lex Luger.

"You think you was unlucky with Buff Bagwell as your tag partner? He is twice better than Konnan, yet you lost again and again with him. Problem is you, Luger. You don't deserve to be near main event, and I do! "Total Package", I'm coming for you *beep*" 68/100

http://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/f2/e6d11882019602ddd7fe2534f9fc2cf2.jpghttp://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/76/f4fce80bd224d09c8918567a8049a176.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/0c/8695e22d7ebac6113f2765411b38fa0c.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Booker T defeated Lex Luger in 7:49 by pinfall with a Roll Up. During the match we also had Buff Bagwell run in and distract Lex Luger. 69/100

Booker quickly leaves the squared circle, he doesn't want Luger for any second longer. Big T blocks Booker's way to the locker rooms, Stevie Ray hops the barricades and almost nails Booker with a brass knuckles shot. Lucky Booker is lucky, he avoided a brotherhood beating today. 62/100

So, a new feud for Booker starts here. I want to build him as a guy who is the least wanted man in the locker room. MVP of WCW sounds not bad...

http://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/18/307b4b81f348fc211378fbeb0bc4d518.jpghttp://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/55/ee3f0707bdb54919d195733ed9bd0555.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/03/ccced38a3a0ce832fe2b73a0978a5b03.jpghttp://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/ed/3d08c38cef0877e040d03574b25c5aed.jpg

DDP laces his boots, gets ready and yada-yada-yada. Okerlund once again wants a pre-match promo, but DDP sends the guy out. He should finish his yoga first! Gene leaves the "People's Champion" alone, but meets "The Nature Boy" in the hallaway.

"He's not in the mood?" Flair asks, and gets a negative answer.

"How about an interview, Mr. Flair?"

Ric says that he will pass today, he just wants to talk to Diamond before the match, that's all.

Okerlund misses another opportunity, but yet another approaches him - Jeff Jarrett! US champion just wanted to say he is one and only, he has no heroes and he surely doesn't know what respect is. After that JJ kicks Gene in the balls and leaves laughing... 79/100

Bad day at the office for Mr. Okerlund. He wanted to be used more, so here you have it.

Nash and Hart make separate entrances, while DDP and Flair have a common one. That shows us that Flair is much better in negotioating than Hart. 81/100

http://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/02/767963cd4c757e4f5912342c2e638802.jpghttp://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/ca/6b42768101c5edf30e4305da32a753ca.jpghttp://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/c6/2c7936462f8014b2ea2250f2d06992c6.jpghttp://i66.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/d5/882a7a3102a0a97f1f2ed8595c3025d5.jpghttp://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1213/93/36161df2c48a13beaba29ccc8e2a6293.jpg

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Kevin Nash and Bret Hart defeated Ric Flair and Diamond Dallas Page in 13:22 when Kevin Nash defeated Diamond Dallas Page by pinfall with a Jacknife Power Bomb, after Ric Flair gave his partner a Low Blow. 83/100

Yep, that's it. Flair was at his boiling time the whole damn time, but could hide it because of his natural heel persona and experience. Nash and Hart have an aweome chemistry, very good!

Hart and Nash laugh at DDP, so does Ric Flair. Bret locks DDP in a Sharpshooter, and tortures "The People's Champion" for a good amount of time. Flair belly flops, so his eyes are level with DDP's! They have a long staredown, which ends after DDP "switches off". Nash and Hart hug Flair, and we go off air. "The Nature Boy" is black and white from now on...76/100

Final Rating: 77/100 (3.96 on TNT)

Lost popularity in 1 region, increased in 16.

I'm sorry for not posting for quite a while, had no time for a good hour in TEW and another one here. Hope you enjoyed the show, boys produced a great main event.

Thunder Preview:

  • First of all, Ric Flair has joined he NWO! That's right, folks, "The Nature Boy" is black and white now! We expect to hear some explanations from the legend, and some DDP reactions aswell.
  • Bam Bam Bigelow announced a "hardcore title hunt" a few days ago. Who should fear "The Beast from The East more: Sid Vicious or Meng?
  • Buff Bagwell distracted Lex Luger thus helping Booker T to grab a massive victory in the semi-main event, so tonight Piper gives him a stage to "shine". "Buff Daddy" meets the Ice-Train, who broke up with Tank Abbott after two defeats in a row.
  • Filthy Animals will appear on the Thunder too. Rey and Billy will fight Kaz Hayashi and La Parka in a fast-paced bout. Cruiserweights could solidify their positions in the title contendership rank, so that match is an important one for both sides.
  • Also we have a tag team match with Harlem Heat 2000 (Stevie Ray and Big T) - one of the few teams that keep tagging after the "Joker Wild" tournament. Street gang meets a low-card unit of Johnny Stamboli and Big Vito, managed by Tony Marinara
  • Finally, to send pure wrestling fans in heaven, we present one of the biggest matches so far: Ric Flair vs. Chris Benoit. "The Crippler" feels like Ric betrayed not only DDP but him too. They were good friends, they shared the same stable for quite a while. Chris wants to sort things out, even if NWO is present near the ringside.

Official Thunder Match Card:

  1. Kaz Hayashi and La Parka vs. Rey Mysterio and Billy Kidman
  2. Buff Bagwell vs. Ice Train
  3. Harlem Heat 2000 vs. The Mamalukes
  4. Chris Benoit vs. Ric Flair

I spy with my little eye a Wolf Among Us reference! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Great show, liked the subtle reference, and the matches seem to be getting better.

So I skipped a few days, and wham! Royal Rumble makes 7.99 buyrate!! Then I was like, wait, that has to be a mistake. Then I found the "ratings explained" button, and I was in pure shock. Souled Out did 2.28 - 114000 buys. That's 1 thousand less than real life WCW! Then i decided to take a look back, and yeah... Souled Out was crap. So was January, with 1 and a half millions lost. Workers ate two and a half million, plus we had a couple of firings, so...

In terms of a product, Royal Rumble was the same as the January for WCW. Check this out.

Taz against cruiserweights, and he had 100 momentum when I played as WWF earlier. Val beats Angle, Headbangers and Chyna are in the upper midcard... ROAD DOGG is the winner of The Royal Rumble! I think WCW have a decent chance to survive now. I like Road Dogg, but that's just hilarious. And he lost to Big Show too...

Road Dogg will main event a Wrestle-DAMN-Mania... ok, now let me show you our top 10 matches. And we had 71 of them. And 70 is closing the top 10, boys :\

84 for a match between our first and second franchise players. I really expect to have a 85+ match in February, or a couple of them. And I know how to do it, believe me. Also, a brand split is coming soon, we have too much guys without a focus.

Nitro Preview

Our first show in February, with Superbrawl 3 weeks away from now! WCW has some big matches in mind, and tonight is no different.

  • Sid Vicious thinks the threat of being wacked in the alley is gone, but no, new foes could wait you around the corner! Meng and Bam Bam won't forget that fall for the rest of their lives, so we can expect massacre on Monday even if those men wouldn't show up.
  • A triple threat cruiserweight match was booked by Roddy Piper. "Rowdy" likes this type of match, huh? Chavo Guerrero, Crowbar and Evan Karagias will try their luck to be the next guys in line for Berlyn's title.
  • Duggan and Funk are too out of conditions to show up on Monday, so The Revolution could be in a good mood! Saturn and Malenko have a tag team match against The Varsity Club. Jocks couldn't scrap a victory in January, maybe February will be better? A top-notch mat battle is expected between those four.
  • We know well that Piper hates NWO, so the commissioner decided not to give them another night off. Roddy thinks that hungry guys like Benoit, Guerrero, Mysterio could easily handle a washed up squad of thugs... Steiner vs. Benoit, DDP and Filthy Animals vs. NWO, who greet the return of Scott "The Bad Guy" Hall.
  • Last, but not least, Jeff Jarrett meets Stevie Ray in a title match! His injury time is over, now the duty of beign the United States champion falls on the shoulders of "The Chosen One". He was successfull last week against both Vampiro and Dustin Rhodes, but can he avoid the contact of the Slapjack?

Official Nitro Match Card:

  1. Crowbar vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Evan Karagias
  2. The Revolution (Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn) vs. The Varsity Club (Mike Rotunda and Rick Steiner)
  3. WCW United States Championship Match: Jeff Jarrett © vs. Stevie Ray
  4. Chris Benoit vs. Scott Steiner
  5. NWO 2000 (Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash) vs. Filthy Animals (Rey Mysterio, Billy Kidman, Eddie Guerrero) and Diamond Dallas Page

February 2000, Week 1

South West, Anaheim Convention Center (8,771)

Pre-Show

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Konnan defeated Hugh Morrus in 6:50 by submission with a Tequila Sunrise. 56/100

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Parka & Kaz defeated Ice Train and Tank Abbott in 6:23 when La Parka defeated Ice train by pinfall with a Sky Twister Press. 40/100

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Steven Regal defeated Norman Smiley in 5:51 by submission with a Regal Stretch. 57/100

Konnan in a dark match is a punishment for bad attitude. Gave La Parka a clean victory and warmed the crowd well with a bit of comedy in Regal - Smiley bout.

NWO opens up yet another Nitro, folks! But tonight is a little bit different. Kevin Nash asks the fans to stand up and "say hello to the bad guy"! Scott Hall is back! He hugs his best friend, shakes hands with everybody except Jeff Jarrett. Scott says he's now part of NWO 2000, and he promises that with him in the gang buisness will be much easier! 75/100

http://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1223/c2/fdb71e1fb62e7415de9c91aec82f97c2.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1223/d4/a3c7f48e15c48442320965cae6bbbfd4.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1223/b4/d2a7b8698fb879ede4793d313c255cb4.jpg

Scott is however gets cut off by non other than Filthy Animals! Eddie gets the microphone and states that NWO times are over, and begs NWO to stop this talk show. They are here to wrestle, so they call out the NWO for the match tonight! NWO has a good laugh. Hall asks "Where's Konnan, chico?". Eddie avoids the answer... 50/100

http://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1223/dd/ffc24f4b80abafde3fac687b2a4924dd.jpg

Piper comes out and says he likes that idea, to have a gang vs. gang match. So, Nash, Hall, Flair and Hart will meet Kidman, Mysterio, Guerrero and Diamond Dallas Page in the main event. The last one wants to get his revenge on Flair! Also, Jarrett defends his title against Stevie Ray and Scott Steiner meets Chris Benoit! 66/100

Well, Hall was penalised for soft/hard drugs and drinking habits. Animals bombed, crowd wasn't too thrilled with cruiserweights. Piper did his job as always.

In an extremely short match, Crowbar defeated Evan Karagias and Chavo Guerrero Jr. in 4:51 when Crowbar defeated Evan Karagias by pinfall with a Northern Lights Suplex. During the match we also had Daffney attack Karagias. 46/100

http://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1223/04/562ad0de6c27154d4b90aa71fe88d604.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1223/5c/0a6695e7c8dada218a5ab15d4586e65c.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1223/08/677ac2fdcaa2024c7dcb7d6aa1b52308.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1223/34/0de6396816899baf7ef4eb05509d2f34.jpg

Madusa applauds to Daffney, she did well against her ex-bf! Berlyn drills Crowbar with his sight, and shows him a thumbs down! Gerald and Patrick immediatley get in the ring and slam the #1 contender on the mat with a Double Chokeslam! Berlyn leaves the ring area on the shoulders of his giants. 53/100

Not bad. Berlyn improved a lot in popularity for the past month.Daffney and Madusa have a lotof momentum for some reason, it obviously helped. Scary to realize, but this segment was rated higher than one with "Filthy Animals" in it.

Backstage Shane Douglas pumps his pitbulls up. He then adresses the camera.

"Guerrero, you was god damn right abouth the NWO! Those old farts recruited *ick Flair, so I hate them a lot more now. Give them a good kick in the ass, I know you are capable to do that." "The Franchise" then whips Saturn with towel, their match is next! 58/100

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, The Revolution defeated The Varsity Club in 5:38 when Perry Saturn defeated Mike Rotunda by pinfall with a Saturn Bomb. 64/100

Douglas is delighted, but he commands to pick up Mike Rotunda for him! Shane removes the mats from the floor and deliveres a vicious fisherman suplex to the IRS. Revolution continues to take out veterans of this buisness... 44/100

Douglas disappointed me in this one. Nevermind, he won't stay on that evel for a long time.

Jeff Jarrett whines about his tough fate in the wrestling buisness to Gene Okerlund, who clearly remembers a kick in the nuts a couple of weeks ago. Jarrett insults "Mean Gene" and fades away. Vampiro was hiding around the corner all this time. He whispers: "What a poser...". Okerlund nods in approval and adds "I agree". 54/100

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Jeff Jarrett defeated Stevie Ray in 7:18 by pinfall with The Guitar Shot. During the match we also had Booker T run in and attack Stevie Ray. Jeff Jarrett makes defence number 2 of his WCW United States title. 58/100

Overbooking did not sit well with the crowd. I did this: "Big T watches the match near the ring, Booker T and Buff jumped him, then Luger showed up to run after them, and in the end JJ used his instrument. Russo hicked right now...

http://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2014/1223/eb/7cc247b586669b01c2c50a9fcecae0eb.jpg

Taped promo of Chris Benoit rolls in. Chris says that he won't forgive Flair for waht he did. Also Benoit thinks that Bret Hart is the one to blame in Ric's behavior. "You turned on your family, you took a great dump on the wrestling buisness, you forgot who you are, and now you wash the brains of my friends? I don't recognize you, Bret. What happened to that man I idolized? Why?" Promo ends after Chris gets overwhelmed by emotions... 77/100

Bryan Adams attacks Sid Vicious from behind! They brawl all the way to the ring, where Sid gives his attacker an apron powerbomb, tosses him in the ring and gets the pinfall victory. Hardcore title stays on Sid! 70/100

Adams switched to a Biker gimmick, 78 in rating. Benoit´s promo, and the backstage hassle were surprisingly good, way to go!

NWO's personal locker room is now a crowded place. Ric Flair throws insults at Shane Douglas, Hall & Nash laugh at "vanilla midgets" they have to fight tonight, Jarrett tries to get the attention, but nobody gives two *hits about Jeff. Finally, Bret approaches Scott and asks him to teach Benoit a lesson. Bret even lets Scotty use a "Sharpshooter"! Steiner understands, gets some slaps on his shoulder. "Big Poppa Pump" is pumped! 74/100

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Chris Benoit defeated Scott Steiner in 7:48 by cradle pinfall, after Steiner failed to lock the Sharpshooter correctly. 79/100

"Hitman" faceplams near the monitor, Benoit quickly gets out of the ring, Steiner is in rage. Steiner yells at the ref and gives him a belly to belly suplex right across the ring. 75/100

If Benoit gets nothing from tonight's show, then i don't know how to make him popular. He stuck at 66, hope it will change after tonight.

A music video is shown to promote Ernest Miller and Disco. The dancing duo will appear on Thunder, don't miss! 40/100

Booker and Bagwell discuss the "Lex The Stripper" situation.

T: "I don't get it, how he could know that we were there of all the strip clubs in the city?"

Buff: "Dude, my bad. i forgot that I visited that place with him a couple of weeks ago, right before our Souled Out match"

T: "That explains a lot, dog"

Buff: "Nevermind, even in situations like that positives are present."

T: "Whatcha mean?"

Buff: "Check this out!"

Buff shows Booker some pictures, and one particular makes Booker's eyes wide open. 67/100

Lex Luger is in the ring with a microphone. He says he's tired of being called lazy and so he is making an open challenge for any wrestler on the roster to face him in a singles match. 53/100

In an extremely short match, Lex Luger defeated Kanyon in 4:59 by submission with a Torture Rack. 54/100

Having picked up the victory, Lex Luger celebrates in the ring. 52/100

Should of cooled down my crowd before the main bout. Also i like to paste some angles just to make a good gap between matches.

The Outsiders make a spectacular over-the-top entrance. 62/100

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Ric Flair, Bret Hart and The Outsiders defeated Diamond Dallas Page, Eddie Guerrero and Filthy Animals (Rey & Kidman) in 10:37 when Scott Hall defeated Eddie Guerrero by pinfall with a Razor's Edge following interference from Konnan. 78/100

So, DDP and Flair brawl among the fans, Eddie leaps off the turnbackle with a double missile dropkick on Hall and Nash, they fall of the ring, Billy and Rey with a stereo suicide dive on top of it! Eddie tries to low dropkick Bret, but "The Hitman" catches him in "The Sharpshooter"! DDP entes the ring and breaks up the submission with the Diamond Cutter! DDP points at the turnbackle, Guerrero 'feels froggy"! Sudden low blow and a roll up to DDP from Flair, ref starts counting. Konnan appears out of nowhere, pushes Guerrero off the third rope! DDP kicks out! Eddie crashed badly, Hall quickly covers him for the one-two-three.

After Hall stole a victory for his gang, a huge finisher show starts! Nash slams Mysterio with a "Jacknife Powerbomb", Hall gives Kidman "The Razor's Edge". They get their hands on Eddie, and Benoit is not saving his tag partner! Oh, that's why... Steiner and Jarrett drag him down to the ring, just to show him how bad his friends feel right now. Bret approaches Chris and whispers: "Looks like you are short of pals now". Surprisingly, Saturn and Malenko come out to save "The Crippler"! NWO start beating on them now, but some brave men provide a so needed reinforcement. Vampiro, Dustin Rhodes, Big T, Johnny The Bull and Big Vito run in to clear the ring and end the show! 89/100

Custom made angle did magic. Never thought that Vito canbe a part of a B+ segment!

Final Rating: 79/100 (3.91 on TNT)

This show increased our popularity in 28 regions.

OW HELL YEAHHH! What a show! My favourite so far, and the highest rated too! Let's check our guys for popularity changes. No, nothing special. Maybe one day skipped will help? By the way, Raw made a 83 rated Raw, we're so close! That's all for today.

Thunder Preview:

  • Two fighters, who think they were screwed in their recent matches want their redemption match. The first is Scott Steiner, who was caught by a roll up courtesy of Chris Benoit. The second one is a new leader of The Filthy Animals and co-holder of the WCW tag team championships - Eddie Guerrero. To give Steiner a tough match and to exclude run ins, Roddy Piper decided to book this two hot-headed wrestlers in a cage match!
  • Konnan also gets the punishment for his interference in the Nitro's main event. Rey Mysterio and Billy Kidman go two on one against their ex-mentor!
  • Sid Vicious continues his hardcore championship reign, and it looks like both Meng and Bam Bam Bigelow are fully fit to confront "The Psycho".
  • Lex Luger finally found some passion for wrestling, and requested a one-on-one match with Buff Bagwell, who was a pain in the butt for quite a long time. "Buff Daddy's" overconfidence is backed up by 9 time WCW tag team champion and 6 time WCW Television champion Booker T.
  • Disco Inferno and The Cat promised to show WCW fans something special. A victory, maybe? The unlucky team of Varsity Club meets them in a regular tag team match. It's possible that the winners of that bout will get a chance to win the tag titles.
  • In the main event, Chris Benoit and DDP will face "The Outsiders", or Hall and Nash. Flair and Hart will watch this fight closely, they don't want the fan favorites to grab yet another victory over NWO.

Official Match Card:

  1. Lex Luger vs. Buff Bagwell
  2. Scott Hall and Kevin Nash vs. Diamond Dallas Page and Chris Benoit
  3. Rey Mysterio and Billy Kidman vs. Konnan
  4. Eddie Guerrero vs. Scott Steiner (Cage Match)
  5. The Varsity Club vs. Disco Inferno and The Cat
  6. Sid Vicious vs. ???

Lex wins his match by way of DQ when Booker attacks him, leading to Buffy T standing tall. Page and Benoit defeat the Outsiders as proof that they are still top contenders. The Filthy Animals take the match with Konnan by countout when he bails, only to come back and give the win to Scott Steiner to join the nWo. The Varsity Club finally pick up a victory somewhere, and Sid walks out as still champion.

I'm on my phone so figured this was the easiest way to do picks lol.

  • 2 weeks later...

So, a lot of time has gone since I posted anything here. But when I saw Russo's booking of WCW 2000 on youtube, I finally decided to come back to my save after exam series. I have one more test, but I'm pretty sure It will end up fine. Just wanted to inform some of the readers that the dynasty is not dead yet.

It is actually funny that Vinnie Ru did his biggest mistake again - gave himself too much focus, but he thinks he did alright, I think. Mr. Russo also throwed away a lot of good matches, but they weren't advertised at all.. and then asked us to pay for his "work". Alright, that's enough. Just wanted to say that I'm looking forward to write here again. Happy holiday season, everyone! :)

February 2000, Week 1

Augusta Civic Center, New England (6,700)

Pre-Show

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Stevie Ray and Big T defeated Lane & Lodi in 6:12 when Big T defeated Lenny Lane by pinfall with a Pearl River Plunge. 40/100

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Vampiro defeated Reno in 5:43 by pinfall with a Flying Spinning Leg Lariat. 43/100

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Berlyn defeated Nigel McGuinness in 6:24 by pinfall. 39/100

Signed Nigel right after the pay-per-view, that was his first match in WCW. He entered the buisness this year, so that rating is acceptable. Expect a lot from him in the future...

Piper opens the show taunting Scott Steiner and the NWO members too. "Rowdy" also adds that if Konnan will join them, he would be put in the position Steiner will experience tonight! Filthy Animals come out, Rey and Billy are accompanied by Torrie as always. Time for the first match of the night! The punishment for Konnan!

http://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/d4/705dc9a660535df54183778072d2acd4.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/4f/775b83cec2de1e2f010e063691dedb4f.jpghttp://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/dc/c94df9d041ee60734468b9d37d6e53dc.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/f2/56e4d689ab90c7c3abbf7629503ebbf2.jpg

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Filthy Animals (Rey & Kidman) defeated Konnan in a Handicap match in 7:55 when Konnan was counted out. 64/100

Konnan tried to skip the offense, but failed. After one or two "shots on target" he left the ring, called Torrie "puta" and pointed his middle fingers to both Rey and Billy. What a lad!

Chris Benoit watched that match backstage with Eddie Guerrero. Clearly, Ed was upset that Konnan slipped away... BAM! DDP approached Benoit and gave him an enthusiastic handshake.

"Chris, tonight we're gonna send a message to Flair and Hart! Hall will regret his decision to come back, I promise you. Eddie, don't think about Konnan now, you have another man in front of you tonight. Steiner is a nut, I know, but he won't run away from you as that fella did. Anyway, good luck!"

DDP gives a double high-five to the tag team champions, and leaves them just to motivate someone else. 71/100

___________

Disco Inferno and The Cat make an elaborate entrance to the "Rhythm Of The Night" by Corona! Both guys dance their way to the ring, clearly enjoying the given stage. Mike Rotunda and Rick Steiner look insulted, that has to be a joke or something... 49/100

http://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/2d/65ce8f21e9d96d3383a49fe842ad142d.jpghttp://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/98/fc216eb880c97ede44e1dd51375b8798.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/21/f656f9177f7ed0554673e85423988621.jpghttp://i66.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/9e/513777935812f5b5da840362f613bb9e.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/a5/d52f963a59c98f100c80c67ab207b5a5.jpg

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, The Cat and Disco Inferno defeated The Varsity Club in 5:58 when The Cat defeated Mike Rotunda by pinfall after The Feliner. 49/100

After the match Rick Steiner throws his wrestling hat away in frustration and leaves Rotunda to suffer alone. Obviously, Shane Douglas knew that his finisher will inflict some damage on the jocks in the long time perspective. 48/100

Steiner had enough, Varsity Club started to lose the common ground after Sullivan was fired.

Sid Vicious taunts Bam Bam Bigelow and Meng for not showing up again! Gene Okerlund puts over the title reign of "The Psycho", until Ice Train attacks the champion from behind! 75/100

http://i68.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/26/a73b773b50060392207a2dfec1ea9a26.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/26/5b528083294c651a176c49cc0d69be26.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/9b/c23551a46561f5d6fc8531d884a3da9b.jpg

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Sid Vicious defeated Ice Train in 5:56 by pinfall with a Chokeslam. 50/100

1-2-3, Sid poses with the belt to give the fans the "cheer material" and only then Bigelow and Meng take him down. Asian Spike sets Sid on the wooden table and The Nuclear Splash breaks it in half! Bam Bam covers Sid and gets the same 1-2-3 count to become the new WCW hardcore champion! 60/100

Our 4th hardcore champion in history. Bam Bam deserves to hold the title, even after the assault like that.

Booker T is sitting in the locker room, staring at the photo Buff Bagwell gave him on Monday. Without a blink, Booker stands up and follows "Buff Daddy". Lex Luger is waiting already in the ring! 58/100

http://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/cb/c985f239d3f8b8653da838190bb25dcb.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/19/16054f6e0d42b4b6e6b55e4d5712f019.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/05/76e601cfd784e66d26b087448f9ebe05.jpg

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Lex Luger defeated Buff Bagwell in 7:15 by submission with a Torture Rack. 66/100

Buff taps out, screams in pain... Booker still looks on the photo, nothing can get his attention except this little piece of paper. Bagwell gets in the face of Booker, and only then T realizes that Buff lost his match. Dudes head back without a victory in the pocket...

Lex gets another "W", that should calm his tits down. "Buff Daddy" and "The Total Package" have a pretty good chemistry together, that's good.

Steiner warms up his muscles backstage, he's red like a tomato. Sure thing, he made a noob mistake in his last match. Scott doesn't let anyone in his room, he wants to build that feel of a caged animal. He's going to brawl with Eddie in the steel structure next! 62/100

http://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/01/64b62bd29461045a540826c2b7ccc301.jpghttp://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/84/5b2c21816cd100b2dc87dab289318b84.jpghttp://i67.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/17/68ae2c9a3df4218b0f7b66a5487d3217.jpg

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Scott Steiner defeated Eddie Guerrero in a Cage match in 13:05 when Scott Steiner escaped the cage after Eddie Guerrero had been taken out by Konnan. 79/100

Holy cow, Steiner turned his "Beast Mode" on! Overhead belly-to-belly suplex in the cell wall, Frankensteiner form the top of the cage, Steiner Recliner after a bad landed Frog Splash! Eddie took all that damage like a man, and he was unlucky for sure. Konnan climbed the cage and pushed Guerrero off, helping "The Big Poppa Pump" to escape the cage without any obstacles. Great semi-main event!

Eddie Guerrero is being attacked by The Outsiders in the ring. Seeing the assault, Benoit and DDP come running in and fight them both off, saving Eddie from a serious beating. Huge brawl breaks out, Piper commands to ring the bell immediately! 71/100

http://i64.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/29/7d414ee4cb9a8a56ab95533078116b29.jpghttp://i65.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/e8/16e2fe0dbd745cee11b77007ea9037e8.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/5c/7fd47fb007145b2fcd91175fafb4985c.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/59/adb3ee5025e9fb82b81656bcad013159.jpghttp://i63.fastpic.ru/big/2015/0107/5d/c303c44d17475d568f083ad2388a955d.jpg

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Chris Benoit and Diamond Dallas Page defeated The Outsiders in 13:13 when Chris Benoit defeated Kevin Nash by submission after the Crippler Crossface. 82/100

Bret Hart and Ric Flair just witnessed how good their rivals are! DDP point at Flair and Benoit adresses the cut-throat to "The Hitman"! I guess we have two matches for SuperBrawl? 80/100

Final Rating: 78/100 (2.63 on TBS)

This show increased our popularity in 10 regions.

Another great show! Main event topped the amazing cage match, and I doubted it will. DDP is ready to get his hands on Flair at the upcoming pay-per-view, while Benoit looks red hot after making Nash tap out! Things are getting better and better each week, or day should I say?

WCW and NWA Wildside are now partners! This working relationship may help to those "not so popular", and help them to gain popularity on pure in-ring work. The likes of Dustin Rhodes, Chavo Guerrero, Evan Karagias and many more did the transaction to Les Thatcher, who accepted the offer to add our road agents list! Tried to make them our child company, but they rejected that proposition...

WCW Nitro Preview:

  • World Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart is at the start of the war against one of his closest ex-friends in pro wrestling - Chris Benoit. "The Rabid Wolverine" proved everybody wrong after making Kevin Nash tap out on Thunder, solidifying his spot as the number one contender on the big gold belt. A technical battle is awaiting us on SuperBrawl, 2 weeks from now on pay-per-view!
  • Speaking of Kevin Nash, "The Big Sexy" lost his cocky smile and is ready to meet Chris Benoit again, now on Nitro in a mano e mano situation!
  • Kev's best friend, Scott Hall, returned to WCW one week ago, and already provided a lot of assists for his partners in crime - NWO. "The Bad Guy" meets Diamond Dallas Page in on of our Monday bouts!
  • Roddy Piper was impressed by Lex Luger recently, and decided to give "The Total Package" an opportunity to get back on the track. "Rowdy" booked Lex in a title match against the miserable Jeff Jarrett, who is failing to deserve the respect from his own allies.
  • Berlyn is set to go face-to-face with The Crowbar in another title match, now for the WCW cruiserweight title. Madusa and Daffney would probably be around the corners, so a lot of twists are expected. Don't forget about Gerald&Patrick too.
  • "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Hitman" Bret Hart are about to grapple with "The Revolution", which made the unthinkable last Monday. Saturn and Malenko tried to trade punches with "black and white" gang, showing the incredible boldness and the will to take the best places in WCW. Malenko, Saturn, Flair and Hart are more than capable to produce a MOTN!

Official Nitro Match Card:

  1. Berlyn vs. Crowbar (WCW Cruiserweight Championship Match)
  2. Chris Benoit vs. Kevin Nash
  3. Diamond Dallas Page vs. Scott Hall
  4. Lex Luger vs. Jeff Jarrett (United States Championship match)
  5. Bret Hart and Ric Flair vs. Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn
