NWA 1994: The Rise of an Alliance

In 1994 the landscape of Professional Wrestling was much different then it was in years past. First there were two national powerhouses in wrestling the World Wrestling Federation and the World Championship Wrestling and the old National Wrestling Alliance has fallen on hard times. Now with only 3 companies in the Alliance can the NWA come back, stay tuned and find out.

In a bout that had great heat and good action, Pitbull #1 and Pitbull #2 defeated Cactus Jack and Tommy Dreamer in 12:47 when Pitbull #1 defeated Tommy Dreamer by pinfall with a Death Valley Driver.

 

Pitbull #1 and Pitbull #2 are backstage with Paul Heyman. They ask to be given a chance to wrestle Rocco and Grunge in a tag team match for the titles. Heyman rejects the request, saying they have to earn the title shot, causing them to storm off.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, The Bruise Brothers defeated Bad Crew in 16:29 when Don Harris defeated Bad Crew #2 by submission.

 

In an extremely poor match, Tom Brandi defeated Ace Darling in 10:50 by pinfall with a Tilt-a-Whirl Bodyslam.

In an extremely poor match, Jerry Flynn defeated Otis Apollo in 10:28 by submission with an Ankle Lock.
