WWE 2014: Holly's Venture into Wrestling

Recommended Posts

Hey all!

After reading through some other really interesting dynasties, I myself have decided to diary my own TEW 2013 dynasty. Besides sharing my head booker duties with the rest of you wrestling simulator enthusiasts, I thought it was a great idea to document my management highs (or woes, depending on how you look at it) on another form of media.

Backgroud information

Avatar used: Holly Valance (created a new profile for the actress using her picture from the stock avatar images, specifically to use as an avatar)

Game time: Week 2, August, 2014

Game start: May 2014

Company: World Wrestling Entertainment

Position: Head booker

Roster

WWE United States Champion: Sheamus (started the game as champion)

WWE Tag Team Champions: The Usos (started the game as champions)

WWE Divas Champion: Eva Marie (after winning a #1 contender Divas battle royal, the redhaired femme fatale watched as then-Divas Champion Paige fought and bickered with her mentor, Mickie James. At WWE Battleground, the green rookie took advantage of the champion's lack of focus and hit her with a DDT for the shocker of the year)

WWE Divas Tag Team Champions: The Bella Twins (The Bellas won the tag-team tournament finals against AJ Lee and Tamina to become the inaugural Divas Tag Team Champions, against plotting and scheming from The Authority's Stephanie McMahon and Holly Valance)

The Beast is Back

Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar

Following a slew of successful title defences against the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton and Batista, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan has been on top of the world... until the Beast Brock Lesnar made his return and absolutely destroyed the champion at the closing of Monday Night Raw. With the World Heavyweight Championship hanging in the balance, which of these two superstars will come out on top?

I Walk Alone

John Cena vs. Batista

Believing to have had his last title victory taken away from him in a triple threat match at the hands of John Cena, The Animal Batista has come out of his cage with all guns firing at My. Hustle Loyalty and Respect, who won't back down without a fight. In a battle of one-upmanship, which of these two men can finally claim "I'm better than you"?

Stacy Abigail

Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio with Stacy Keibler vs. The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper)

When Bray Wyatt first saw Stacy Keibler, he had believed her to be the reincarnation of the ominously named Sister Abigail. After repeatedly rejecting his advances, Bray took matters into his own hands and kidnapped her while her client, Rob Van Dam, watched helplessly. With RVD's friend Rey Mysterio joining the fold, it's 3 against 2 in this battle over the beautiful blonde.

Diva Mayhem

Mickie James vs. Paige

When Mickie James made her surprising return to WWE, she immediately took then-Divas Champion Paige under her wing and the duo formed a tight-knit tag team. Their loss in the first round of the Divas Tag Team tournament, however, led to turmoil between the two which ultimately boiled over when Paige lost the championship to rookie Eva Marie. Holding Mickie to blame, Paige let out her frustrations on her mentor, and the former friends have turned into the most bitter enemies.

One More Match

Christian vs. Ryback with Chelsea

As Christian began to make his retirement announcement, he was interrupted by the former TNA valet Chelsea and her new client, Ryback. Mr. Feed Me More viciously attacked Christian, potentially ending his career for him. Weeks later, Captain Charisma made a surprise return and attacked Ryback after his match and officially declared that he was not retiring - he wanted a shot at Ryback.

You Sold Out

Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

After stabbing his Shield buddies in the back and subsequently joining the Authority, Seth Rollins has had opportunities handed to him on a sliver platter, none of which he was able to capitalise on after interference from an enraged Lunatic Fringe, Dean Ambrose. The two former Shield brothers have come to blows and will look to completely destroy each other in the near future.

The Queens of WWE

The Bella Twins (Brie Bella and Nikki Bella) vs. Stephanie McMahon and Holly Valance

Brie's relationship with her husband Daniel Bryan has irritated Stephanie McMahon since day one, and she's made that fact very clear. Add in Brie's sister Nikki and the new general manager of Raw, Holly Valance, and you have four big egos that can't all be contained in the same company. After the Authority failed to deny the Bellas of becoming the first ever Divas Tag Team Champions, Stephanie McMahon quickly announced the new #1 contenders to the Divas tag titles - herself and Holly.

The Heartbreak Wolves

The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) with Naomi vs. The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) with Shawn Michaels

The Wolves made an immediate impact upon their arrival in the WWE and made it clear that they had their sights set on the Tag Team Championships. The Usos and Naomi took exception to that, but when WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels introduced himself as the Wolves new manager, things started to heat up in the tag team division.

How to Legend Kill a Deadman

The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton

The Apex Predator has confidently named himself as the greatest superstar in WWE history and has taken to badmouthing the Undertaker, who had not been seen for a very long time. After defeating John Cena, Orton was surprised when the Deadman made his return and declared war against The Viper by simply dragging a thumb across his throat.

Believe in Roman

Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus

Roman Reigns went on his own after The Shield disbanded and immediately set his sights on United States Champion. The Irish-born champion recently turned his back on the WWE Universe and declared that he would bring class and honour to the United States Championship. As a proud American, Roman Reigns took exception to that, and the two powerhouses of the WWE have been at war ever since.

The Brotherhood (Cody Rhodes and Goldust) def. Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal [67]

Fandango def. Santino Marella [55]

Jack Swagger def. Adam Rose [66]

Cesaro def. Curtis Axel [74]

Main Show

The show starts with WWE COO Triple H strutting down to the ring to a loud chorus of boos. Knowing completely well that Daniel Bryan is still a bit rusty after being attacked by Brock Lesnar, Triple H decides to put him in the main event against Randy Orton. [87]

As Triple H makes his exit, Eva Marie's music hits to loud boos and "you can't wrestle" chants and out comes the Divas Champion to scout her competition for the upcoming battle royal. She sits down next to Jerry Lawler who gets his thrills being so close to her.

Divas Battle Royal to determine the new #1 contender for the Divas Championship

featuring AJ Lee, Aksana, Alicia Fox, Cameron, Cheerleader Melissa, Emma, Kelly Kelly, Lacey Von Erich, Layla, Mickie James, Naomi, Natalya, Paige, Summer Rae and Tamina (The Bella Twins have been banned from participation)

The bell rings and the Divas immediately pair up with each other. AJ and Tamina immediately take it to their rivals, Cheerleader Melissa and Natalya, while Mickie James and Paige are brawling like never before. Cameron is eliminated first by Lacey Von Erich, who is then eliminated by AJ Lee. The SLayers gang up on Emma and eliminate her. Paige takes Mickie down with a well-placed superkick but is then assaulted by Kelly Kelly. Aksana is eliminated by AJ Lee, followed closely by Alicia Fox, eliminated by Tamina. Cheerleader Melissa and Natalya team up and eliminate both of the SLayers but then Melissa is suddenly eliminated by AJ Lee. Tamina sacrifices herself and is eliminated by Naomi but she is soon eliminated by AJ Lee. Kelly goes to eliminate Paige but is met with an elbow shot. Mickie charges at her and eliminates her with a running dropkick. The final four are AJ Lee, Kelly Kelly, Mickie James and Natalya. AJ eliminates Natalya but is then thrown out by Kelly Kelly. Paige storms the ring and tackles Mickie out of the ring, giving Kelly Kelly the victory.

Winner: new #1 contender Kelly Kelly at 8:12 [65]

Divas Champion Eva Marie walks off as Paige and Mickie continue to brawl on the ramp. Paige tosses Mickie back into the ring and then hits her with her own finisher: a Mickie DDT. Paige proudly walks up the ramp as Raw goes to commercial. [54]

Non-title singles match

Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett vs. Kofi Kingston

Without either of his New Day pals behind him, Kofi took it to the Intercontinental Champion early on. Barrett returned the momentum in his favour and tried to steal one, shades of when he stole the title from Big E. The referee caught him grabbing the tights and had words with him. Kofi hits the SOS roll up but Barrett just manages to kick out. Barrett hits the Bullhammer Elbow out of nowhere for the clean victory.

Winner: Bad News Barrett at 10:16 [72]

The Intercontinental Champion doesn't think that's enough and goes to viciously assault Kofi. He sets him up for another Bullhammer Elbow but out comes Big E and Xavier Woods to stop any further harm. Raw goes to commercial.[58]

Tag Team Match

Mark Henry and The Big Show vs. Kane and Alberto Del Rio

The Authority's Demon Kane didn't look too comfortable teaming with Del Rio, while Henry and Show clicked immediately. Henry and Show took control for most of the match on Kane as Del Rio refused to tag in. The ending came when Del Rio snuck around the ring and tripped up The Big Show, allowing Kane to hit the World's Strongest Man with a Chokeslam for the win.

Winners: Kane and Alberto Del Rio at 8:48 [68]

As Kane celebrates his victory, we immedicately cut backstage where Brock Lesnar is viciously assaulting Daniel Bryan in the backstage area. Several referees and road agents try to stop him, but he pushes them all away and throws Bryan into the wall. Laughing maniacally, Lesnar walks off, leaving Bryan's health - and the main event - in question. [92]

Stacy Keibler knocks on Holly Valance's office door, anxiously chewing on her nail. Valance opens it and Stacy pleads and begs her to take her out of the intergender six-person match. Valance tells her that as a woman, she should be proud to be getting this opportunity to represent women in a man's world. Holly declines her and disappears into her office, leaving Stacy visibly shaken and frightened. [74]

Singles Match

Sami Zayn vs. Ted DiBiase

Sami Zayn, the man who's had problems with Rusev and Lana recently, started the match off with an impressive flurry of offense on Ted. Ted turned it back around and took the time to gloat and show off his impressive physique. Sami rolled him up out of nowhere but managed to get a 2.9 count. Ted went to splash Zayn in the corner but Zayn sidestepped him, ran to the opposite corner, and charged at Ted, hitting the Helluva Kick for the win.

Winner: Sami Zayn at 10:24 [61]

As soon as his music had hit, Rusev had stormed the ring and attacked Zayn as Lana barked orders at him. Rusev hit Zayn with a jumping superkick before Lana ordered him to put him in the Accolade. After rendering him unconscious, Rusev and Lana posed to their music as the Russian flag fell down from the ceiling. [54]

The Bella Twins are talking backstage about missing the battle royal when they are approached by Stephanie McMahon. She says that while they did miss the battle royal, they would have the opportunity to showcase their skills in an entirely different match. Stephanie has put them in a match against the Wolves. Brie calls her a bitch but Stephanie walks off laughing. [60]

Tag Team Match

Dolph Ziggler and R-Truth w/ Kelly Kelly vs. The Miz and Damien Sandow

Dolph and his rival, The Miz, started out the match, but The Miz immediatelly tagged out to Sandow. Dolph and Truth took control of majority of the match as Miz refused to tag in. Sandow managed to rake the eyes of Truth and seemed to be in control of the match, but Miz quickly tagged himself in and rolled up Truth, holding onto the nearby ropes for leverage and the dirty victory.

Winners: The Miz and Damien Sandow at 10:48 [62]

The Miz celebrates his victory in the ring while Kelly checks on Truth on the outside of the ring. Dolph and Miz engage in a staredown with neither man giving way. [70]

We go to backstage where Batista is cutting a promo, telling the WWE Universe that he is superior to John Cena in every way. He says that Cena is a false representation of a WWE Superstar, and Batista will expose him for the fraud that he is. [76]

Six-Person Intergender Tag Team Match

Rob Van Dam, Rey Mysterio and Stacy Keibler vs. The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper)

Stacy, who is not dressed for active competition, stays on the outside of the ring as this essentially 3-on-2 handicap match is underway. As expected, The Wyatts had this match in their favour, focusing on Rey Mysterio's previously injured leg. Bray puts Rey in a Camel Clutch and stares at Stacy, screaming at her to join their family. With a well-placed reversal DDT, Rey manages to tag in RVD who comes in and cleans house but is taken down by a cheap shot from Harper and Rowan. Bray hits RVD with the Sister Abigail and then yells at Stacy to tag in or he'll "end RVD's career". With Rey still hurt, Stacy apprehensively tags into the match. Bray plays with Stacy's hair and begs her to join their family, calling her "Abigail". Stacy stalls and soon after, RVD tags himself back in and attacks Bray. The ending comes when Harper blind tags himself in but is taken down by a Rob Van Dam superkick. RVD hits the Five Star Frog Splash for the victory.

Winners: Rob Van Dam, Rey Mysterio and Stacy Keibler [58]

We go to backstage where United States Champion Sheamus is with Renee Young. He tells her that Roman Reigns is a fluke and will never get his hands on his belt. Sheamus goes on to call it the "Irish Championship" and walks off. [70]

Non-title Singles Match

United States Champion Sheamus vs. Dean Ambrose

The Lunatic Fringe went on an unhinged assault to start the match, telling the WWE Universe that he was sending a message to Seth Rollins. Sheamus came back into it and declared himself as The Irish Champion to boos from the crowd. Roman's music suddenly hit and distracted Sheamus, which led to Ambrose hitting Dirty Deeds for the win.

Winners: Dean Ambrose at 10:58 [74]

Ambrose is walking back through the curtains when Rollins comes out and whacks him with the Money in the Bank briefcase to loud boos. Rollins poses over Ambrose with the briefcase as Raw goes to commercial. [89]

The Bella Twins are walking through the corridors for their match when Stephanie McMahon and Holly Valance walks past them. Holly wishes them "Good luck" and then they walk off. [68]

Tag Team Match

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) w/ Shawn Michaels vs. Divas Tag Team Champions The Bella Twins (Brie Bella and Nikki Bella)

The HeartBreak Kid began laughing at the opposition and told his boys to "sit back and relax". Nikki took exception to this and slapped Davey in the face, not letting The Authority get the better of her. It wasn't long before Davey hit Nikki with a cheapshot attack from behind. Michaels began laughing on the outside and Brie dropped down and slapped him in the face. The Usos suddenly stormed the ring, having had enough of their actions, and began to attack The Wolves as the match ended in a messy no-contest.

Winners: Draw at 6:02 [52]

The Wolves and The Usos kept brawling after the match had been ended as Michaels, holding onto his face, ordered his team to take advantage. Referees and road agents came to break up the fight but the two teams were inseperable and continued brawling to the back. [65]

Christian is standing backstage, cutting a promo on Ryback and Chelsea. Christian calls Chelsea "easy" and continues to berate her relationship with Ryback. Christian calls Ryback "Goldberg" and then quickly corrects himself. [67]

Singles Match

Batista vs. Christian

The momentum continuously shifted in this match as both of these veterans refused to give up. Batista hit Christian with a spinebuster and went for the pin but Christian managed to get the shoulder up. Batista set Christian up for the Batista Bomb but Cena appeared at the top of the ramp. Christian reversed it and hit the Killswitch for the victory.

Winner: Christian at 10:44 [60]

Triple H comes out and tells Cena to stay there and announces he will be Bryan's replacement in the upcoming match.

Singles Match

John Cena vs. Randy Orton

Both of these men know each other so well and you could tell as they continued to trade shots and wrestling moves. Randy Orton hit a few of his signature moves and set him up for the RKO, but Cena reversed it and hit his five moves of doom. Cena had Orton up for the AA but Orton wriggled out of it and hit the RKO but Cena threw a shoulder up at 2.999. Enraged, Orton went to hit the Punt kick but Cena rolled him up for another close count. Orton got up and hit him with another RKO for the win.

Winner: Randy Orton at 12:48 [78]

Orton is in the ring, celebrating his victory when the lights go out. After a moment of silence, the signature gong sounded throughout the arena. The fans went wild as the lights went on and Undertaker was in the ring. The Deadman got into The Viper's face and both men got into a heated confrontation to end Raw. [85]
