coach retires...????

Recommended Posts

I took at look at some of the more prominent teams in college football to see how i stacked up against their head coaches in terms of coaching prestige. Michigan- Lloyd Carr-Avg Ohio St.- Jim Tressel-Avg Penn St.-Joe Pa-Avg Florida St.-Bobby Bowden-Avg Is it just my game or are your guys' prestige at average also? Has anyone seen a head coach with a high rating?
But does your coaching prestige change based on how much you've won / lost? If not, what is the purpose of the recruiting pitch of Head Coach?
This feature is apparently nonfunctional. I have had 20+ year dynasties with multiple national titles and bowl wins and my coach is still listed as average.

Agreed. There has to be some kind of game logic that initiates offers from other schools to ask you to be their head coach based on something other than simply a head coaching vacancy. It would seem that the more you win, the more likely other schools would want you to coach them, so some kind of coach prestige ought to exist.
