I agree -- especially in regard "rest of the roster" pictures. I may re-do that page at a later date... it's a time consuming process, and I don't want to further set back writing the TV show, and I don't have copies of the original images without the flare effect.

 

Um... on the plus side, I do think they look really cool, so I get personal satisfaction out of them... I may consider adding a name list if things are really bad.

Justice rebuffs Mr. Amazing.

Mr. Amazing pauses. He takes a minute to collect himself.

NEW NOISE blasts through the speakers but this time, “Danger” Teddy Powell is at the top of the ring ramp. His opponent is newcomer Animal Harker. The two tie up in a test of strength, and Powell manages to throw the weaker Harker over the ring ropes, and the rookie flips in and out of the ring ropes in a comedic fashion. The referee begins counting… 1... 2….3....4…5….6….7….8…..9…

Animal Harker seems oblivious to the count. It takes a full nine-and-half seconds for him to realize that he is about to be counted out. Animal Harker climbs back into the ring at the last second. “Danger” tries to hit an elbow drop as Harker enters the ring, but the oblivious Harker manages to roll out of the way, and Powell lands comically on his elbow. Animal Harker tries to clothesline “Danger” as he gets on his feet, but Powell ducks under his clothesline attempt, and “Danger” spears his heavier opponent. He ascends the bottom left ring post, as Animal Harker tries to get back to his feet, “Danger” Powell slams Animal Harker with the Motion Censor! “Danger” covers his opponent for the pin… 1…2…3…

Ian “Violence” Boone clubs Thomas out of the gate with a clothesline, and smashes into Elliot with a stiff knee, and battering Thomas with an elbow drop. Elliot stumbles to his feet, and moves into the center-ring, as Ian Boone runs towards his fellow TCW alum with the clothesline, which Thomas ducks under, and the newcomer grabs Boone, who nails Thomas with a wayward elbow, and hits the Boone and Bust on Elliot Thomas. Ian “Violence” Boone coverts Elliot Thomas for the easy pinfall victory.

Jones is out to “Ain’t Nothin’ But A G Thang” by Dr. Dre. He spins as he slowly descends down the ring ramp, unaware of his hostile audience, motioning referee Baby Jamie to let him under the rope. Jamie refuses to entertain the former television champion. Andre throws a fit. Mick Muscles enters the ring. Baby Jamie, in a show of spite towards Andre, lifts the top rope for former #1 Contender Mick Muscles. Andre rushes Muscles after the bell, smashing him with several hard punches, pushing him into the corner and delivering several stiff chops. Baby Jamie motions for the DQ after Andre had cornered Mick for several seconds. The two run the ropes, Mick Muscles ducks under a clothesline, and spears Andre, going in for several punches on his opponent. Andre smashes his forehead into Mick Muscles, and follows with an eye rake, and finishes the stunned Muscles with a drop kick! Andre Jones covers Mick Muscles for the easy pinfall victory.

Griffith gets up, smashes a beer can onto his head, drawing blood, He slides into the ring, blindsiding Java, throwing his opponent to the ropes, and hoisting him up for the piledriver! Jack Griffith covers… 1…2…

Java kicks out for the near fall! Jack Griffith pleads his case to Baby Jamie, distracting the referee, as the soaked “Violence” and “Danger” work over Java from the outside, and Danger smashes the Island Warrior with a chair shot! Java stumbles back as an opportunistic Jack Griffith signals for the Jack-In-The Box! He catches an unaware Java with the devastating move, and Jack Griffith covers Java for the pinfall victory!

Hinder’s Lips of Angel booms through the small arenas speaker system as Bobbie Beau, Garcia and Alonso down the entrance ramp. Bobbie mouths loudly into the camera and insults the fans on his way to the ring.

“Real American” hits the rabid crowd as they erupt in cheers for #1 Contender The Real American. Referee Baby Jamie lifts the bottom ring for #1 Contender The Real American. ‘Merican by the Descendents plays and the hot crowd gets even harder for the Hardcore ‘Mericans Freddie Datsun and Chris Caulfield.

The Real American and Bobbie Beau start the match. The two run the ropes, and The Real American leapfrogs Bobbie Beau, and lays out “Beautiful” Bobbie Beau with a strong-arm lariat. Beau scampers towards the ring ropes, and cowardly pleads with his masked opponent, who ducks under the ring ropes as the fan favorite interacts with the crowd. He slaps in Garcia. Garcia leaps from the top rope, but The Real American is prepared, and transitions Garcia into the Bulldozer Powerbomb! The patriot goes immediately for the cover… 1… 2….

Alonso breaks up the count! Garcia rolls to his feet, and The Real American goes for an another lariat, but Garcia ducks under it, and hits a low blow on The Real American! The Patriot struggles to his feet as Garcia responds with a missle dropkick! The Real American doubles over onto the mat, as Garcia slaps on the Crossface, and The Real American struggles for the ropes, pulling his lighter opponent with him, feeding off the crowd energy to make a hot take to “Hardcore ‘Merican” Chris Caulfield! Caulfield comes in with a head of steam, hits a running shoulder tackle, lays out Garcia with a hard punch, and nails Garcia with a dropkick of his own! Caulfield goes for the pin… 1… 2…

Alonso runs into the ring to break up the pinfall, while Datsun runs into stop him! Alonso breaks up the pin with an elbow drop, as The Real American and a reluctant Bobbie Beau storm the ring! Chaos ensues and Ref Baby Jamie can’t figure out who the legal man is, but before he can call for the bell, Freddie Datsun blindsides Alonso with the Patriot Press and rolls him up as Jasme counts a quick three and the bell rings! The Real American and The Hardcore ‘Mericans overcame the odds and scored a victory over the Supreme League!

Boone charges the ring, laying out Chris “The Hardcore American” Caulfield with a clothesline and Freddie “The Everyman” Datsun with a vicious German Suplex! The Real American pleads in the corner, and Violence aims a fist towards the Masked Wrestler, before backing off, and pointing directly at him! Violence slowly leaves the ring as Refused’s New Noise continues to echo through the arena!

Ref Baby Jamie quickly restores order, chastising the Son of Sam, and forcing the teams to abide by Tag Team Rules. Strong tags in Belle Bryden to face off with The Dream Team’s Joanne Rodriguez. The two combatants circle the ring, with Belle Bryden ducking under a clothesline, and going for a vertical suplex, but Joanne reveres it, and slams Belle to the ground with a piledriver! Belle rakes Joanne over the eyes and throws her off with a kick to the midsection, and knocks down J-Ro with a strong forearm! Belle goes for the cover… 1…2….

The Nightfall Raven grabs an unaware Lady Strong, lifts her foot, and hits the inverted DDT! The crowd goes wild for The Nightfall Raven feeds off the crowd, running wild on Lady Strong, clotheslining Lady Strong, laying her out with a lariat, and launching the “Son of Sam” into the ringpost with a delayed German Suplex! The Nightfall Raven runs at Lady Strong, but the Royal Wrestler dodges, and the Nightfall Raven hits the exposed turnbuckle! The Nightfall Raven stumbles to her feet, trying hard to walk, when Lady Strong charges at her with a running bulldog, but Raven manages to reverse the move, and throws Lady Strong to the outside! Belle Bryden comes into the ring, as per tag rules, and Raven makes the tag to Joanne Rodriguez, who hits a springboard hurricanrana from the top rope on Bryden, and rolls up Bryden for the flash pin… 1… 2....

Lady Strong breaks up the pin… milliseconds too late! Lady Strong holds up two fingers to Baby Jamie, but referee clearly signals the three count with his fingers! He holds up The Dream Team as the winners as Lady Strong dejectedly moves towards the back, swearing and shaking her fists at the loyal AMERICAN WRESTLING Fans.

Mr. Amazing backflips onto the mat as Justice tries to blindside him with a clothesline, Amazing ducks under, a hoists Justice into the air into a bridging suplex, transitioning into a suplex… 1…

Justice quickly kicks out! Mr. Amazing grabs Justice’s leg, but the Champion hits a low blow on Mr. Amazing, followed by an eye rake, and grabs Mr. Amazing’s leg, stomping on the ankle of the challenger! Commissioner Doom is again fuming, but he is held back by the Forces of Evil, as Justice motions across his neck at Referee Baby Jamie, intimidating him! Baby Jamie cowardly points at himself, in an attempt to confuse the World Champion, but Mr. Amazing hits an axe handle to the back of the World Champion, throwing Justice to the ropes with an arm drag, and nails him with a dropkick! Justice staggers back to the port side of the ring, with Mr. Amazing retreating toward the bottom-right corner. T-Rex puts the challenger in a chokehold, just like Java did last week, as a diversion while Corporal Doom exposes the bottom-right turnbuckle, and Baine slams Mr. Amazing’s head into the exposed turnbuckle! Mr. Amazing is bleeding profusely as he falls into the ring! He gets caught off-guard and Justice picks up Mr. Amazing for the Liberation Slam! 1…2…3…

James Justice d. Mr. Amazing by pinfall after T-Rex interferes. Justice makes defense #4 of his USPW World Title.

“Ishmael, I am the commissioner of USPW. I am the Judge, Jury and Execution, Justice. You? You are a sore loser, who lost to me in front of HUNDRED OF THOUSANDS on Pay Per View.”

“But, I am a fair Judge. And I will give you your chance. Tonight, in the INAUGURAL CHAMBER MATCH on USPW TELEVISION, you will face THE SARGENT AT ARMS.”

Ishamel is shocked.

“..And IF YOU CAN defeat THE SARGE AT ARMS, you will CLIMB UP THE LADDER TO THE UPPER CHAMBER, where you can face off against T-Rex!”

The Chamber descends onto the ring, and Ishmael lunges at Justice, who ducks under him, and sidesteps out the door. Justice laughs as he walks slowly up the ring ramp, and the cage lifts, and Ishmael leaves up the exit ramp.

The match bell rings, and Jolson smashes a strong forearm into “The Gambler” Casino, and slams him with an elbow drop. Casino retreats to the corner, trying to stall out Jolson, but Jolson pulls him up onto the ring post, and starts a 10-punch counting sequence before throwing Casino into the ring and slamming Casino with The Death Penalty. Jolson covers Casino for an easy pinfall victory.

She transitions into a pin… 1… 2… Tokyo Princess throws off Raven Nightfall. Tokyo Princess staggers to her feet.. Raven nails her with the Strong Arm Lariat, and hits a Night Faller from the top rope on Tokyo Princes and her for the clean pinfall victory.

Refused’s New Noise booms through the arena as Matt Sparrow sprints down the ring ramp. He is unaccompanied. Ernie Turner speculates this is because the Extremists have an important match later. Matt Sparrow climbs atop the ring post, and the crowd boos him loudly. Mick Muscles walks down the ring ramp, climbs into the ring, and the match bell rings to signal the two competitors start. The two lock up, with Muscles forcing Sparrow to the ropes, and knocks The Birdman out of the ring with a wicked clothesline. Muscles gets atop the ring post, as Sparrow staggers to his feet, and goes for a springboard axe handle, but Matt rolls out of the way and Mick slams into the steel guardrail!

Matt quickly scampers into the ring. Mick tries to follow, but The Birdman hits a Guillotine Leg Drop on his arm! Mick tumbles out the ring, as Matt Sparrow climbs to the top rope, and hits him with a Springboard Drop Kick, throwing Mick into the crowd! Sparrow again scampers into the ring, as the ref begins to count Muscles out. Mick Muscles stumbles over the guardrail and slowly makes his way to the ring, stopping the count at eight! Sparrow holds up his fingers to the referee, arguing that Muscles did not make it back into the ring in time! Sparrow ducks under a clothesline, hits Muscles with a low blow, grabs his opponent, and hits Muscles with the Bird Brain Buster! Sparrow covers for 1..2..3… a clean pinfall victory.

The Real American, Mr. Amazing and The Hardcore Americans enter to ‘Merican by the Descendants. The crowd are solidly behind the Patriotic quartet. The Real American and Mr. Amazing take in the cheers from the turnbuckles. “Wanted: Dead or Alive” plays as Justice enters with the Dangerous and Violent Extremists.

Justice and The Real American start the match for their four-man teams. The two circle one another before engaging in an extensive test of strength. The Real American overpowers the World Champion Justice, throwing him into the ropes, and slamming Justice with a Strong Arm Lariat. He backs Justice into the friendly corner, and the cowardly heel tags in “Danger” Powell, who ducks under The Real American’s Clothesline and nails him with a drop kick! The two run the ropes, with Teddy Powell jumping over The Real American, and hitting a sunset flip! 1… 2… “Danger” rolls into the Camel Clutch, stretching the Real American for several seconds as he tries for the ropes! The Real American manages to stretch his long arms and tag in Mr. Amazing! Mr. Amazing leaps off the top ropes and hits The Crash and Burn on Powell, who rolls out of the way, as The Real American retreats to ringside!

Mr. Amazing grabs Teddy Powell with an arm drag, sends him to the ropes, and smashes into him with Drop Kick! He goes for the cover.. 1…2..

“Extreme” Jack Griffith breaks up the counter, and Freddie Datsun enters the ring and the referee shortly loses control! All eight competitors fill the ring, with The Real American catching an off-guard Teddy Powell with the Bulldozer Powerbomb! As far as the first month at National goes, you are at the mercy of TCW and SWF -- I've gotten a B+ on my January PPV and still fell to Cult (TCW was one point ahead of me).</p><p> </p><p> My advice -- hotshot the World Title to Nicky and put him in a feud with a newly turned James Justice or newly turned Enygma. One of them will (likely) be on time decline (though I lucked out in this stage and neither Justice or Enygma were). I'd say there is a 75/25 chance with this plan you'll stay at National. </p><p> </p><p> If push comes to absolute shove, you can bring in either Puerto Rican Power or Billy Russell as a fresh challenger to Nicky and have Nicky face them in Puerto Rico for the first month's PPV -- again, it depends heavily on the Time Decline rolls, but PRP especially is hugely over in Puerto Rico and that will draw ratings.</p>

It's never fun to "end" a diary -- that being said, sometimes it has to happen. I don't have a the data backup for either my USPW file or (any other files) for that matter -- and as such, I cannot continue this diary. However, I am not done with diary work -- I plan on starting a new diary (UDCG) once the opportunity arises.

 

I was able to save (at least) some of my graphics before the crash, so it shouldn't be too hard for me to continue along. I'll post more in the Diary Preview thread.
