WWE 2006: The McMahon Legacy

Recommended Posts

It was in late May 2005 that my father passed away. The greatest legend in all of pro wrestling – Vincent Kennedy McMahon, passed away. Almost a year later, it’s up to me, Shane McMahon, to carry on my father’s legacy.

We’ve had some ups and downs. Just after a month after my father died, the wrestling industry seemed to be losing steam, and the popularity of WWE itself wavered. We lost a lot of fans, and lost a lot of money, but we’re getting on the right track.

The WWE is continuing to grow, and hopefully one day I can do my father proud and make the WWE more popular than ever.

Okay throwing this out here...(I'm a huge punk fan btw) I'm having a hard time digesting CM Punk mainevent from the rip in 2006. I know there was a whole year gone by that we don't know of but that kind of push seems of a Goldberg level on a really tiny guy if you catch my drift.
