Blackman
This is a scenario with only the CVE women included as fighters. It's meant to load pretty quickly so you can play at an increased rate when playing WEFF. Changes are numerous but essentially just balancing and spicing/colouring the fighters. New and altered renders are also included. I did some recolours on the titles and the Q-cage logo for more immersion. http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/screen1.jpg Install instructions -------------------- "Logos Faces Broadcasters Bodies Belts Banners" --> Goes into [WMMA4]\Pictures\Default "Pink v1.3" --> Goes into [WMMA4]\Skins "O+" --> Goes into [WMMA4]\Databases The only thing that is really required is the database (O+). All the rest is optional. The database and the skins can be enabled through the respective buttons on the main screen. V1.4 improves on 1.3, but it's not worth starting a new game over unless you like the uniregional approach. The changes are mostly cosmetic. Always overwrite if asked. Normally it shouldn't overwrite anything except modders' resources you've already downloaded. Rerenders always come with the original file renamed. Information ----------- O+ is a scenario that only focuses on the women of the C-verse. It has just two companies, but two more will debut a couple of years into the game. * Every worker's home base has been moved to the USA so you can actually sign foreign fighters. * The default database has 165 women, this version adds 405 more over the course of 12 years. * WEFF is 'easy' mode; AMAZON has just one 'open weight' division and a limited pool of popular workers. * AMAZON is set to open a flyweight division at the start, but you can always delete it if playing as AMAZON. * WEFF's workers are set on exclusive contracts for the first 2 years, so playing AMAZON is a little harder. * Both companies start at 80% popularity, with the popular workers having their popularity increased by 30 compared to vanilla. - Rebby's free picture pack is included and optimized with some new workers - revoz's Pink WMMA skin v1.3 is included - Brownhouse's team logos are included - Several expansion packs are included (Eyeball, Iceisle, ...) Tips: - Don't put 'Training Effectiveness' any higher than 'normal' (slow is preferable) - Disable the 'Regeneration' feature until 2013 (or you'll get a worker pool that is too big) Changes compared to v1.3: - Full localisation to USA - Lots of new ager-renders - Few balance changes and stat tinkering - 13 new fighters imported from ICE-FEM and adjusted - Removed some broken narratives DOWNLOAD v1.4 (220mb) DOWNLOAD V1.3 Credits to everyone who helped work on this. Blackman
I quickly updated the database itself to fix some population issues by assigning the Russians and some Europeans to Japan. Now there will be less random debuting workers for that region. Not worth redownloading though. The database also contains narratives and agers to help shape the gameworld. If you're not a fan of those, they can be easily mass deleted without causing problems to the database. I also need to mention that the companies and the starting fighters have received a popularity boost (both companies start at 80% regional, fighters got +30% with the company's region), so you can get to signing foreign fighters and host reality shows a couple of years into the game. I know it's a little immersion-breaking, but it was either this or restricting the player's option to signing just a handful of workers in their region. WEFF has moved to the USA, 'KDM-FC' to Japan. If you don't like this, just import the new fighters into your current game. Only the starting C-verse fighters have adjustments.
Blackman
I'll be working on some rerenders with a custom uniform for those playing WEFF (with or without my mod). Several will eventually be used as agers for the next version of the mod. (face pics are on photobucket for those that already want them) http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Kochiyo%20Chikamatsu_ager.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Maimi%20Koyanagi_ager.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Ingrid%20Westermark.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Marja%20Vuorinen_ager.gif http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Pamela%20ONeill_ager.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Jessica%20Herbig_ager.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Jordan%20Fitch%202.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Tina%20Moore.gif http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Cindy%20Brady_ager.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Sarah%20Vaughan%202.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Kenzie%20Tripp%202.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Larissa%20Larionova%202.gif ---------------------- I also noticed Jenny DeNeuve's popularity is set to 'unknown'. You should change that to 'regional' before you start a game. I'm not going to update the mod for that, but it does impact her momentum for AI booking. Remianen
This mod is awesome! But I think it's important to add more cans (KImmy Valmer is a good start). Not everyone's destined for greatness. Like, I find myself feeding Kenzie Tripp to the Jessica Herbigs and Sayoko Ebisawas of the world, simply because her daddy is a d.....jerk. Massive kudos to whoever wrote the bio for Ayuko Konishi. She's become one of my favorites simply because her bio is REAL (in that, you can seriously see someone doing exactly what she did for the reasons she did it. Girls purposely get pregnant to get on TV so fighting makes perfect sense). In fact, almost all of the bios are great, I just took a liking to that one in particular. Also, are all of the pictures here in the mod? I just downloaded a few days ago.
Blackman
Glad you like it. Right now I'm facing some design issues. I can locate everything to the USA but... + : More competitive gameplay (not everyone on their "island") ; no more reason to mod worker popularity to enable foreign signings feature. - : Training camps are no longer region-based (Japanese girls start mixing with other etnicities which just seems weird to me); no more 'super-cans' because they're the only unsigned character in the region (wait... that's rather a huge positive point. ) MatthewTrixie wrote most of the bios, but then again... he is kind of a writer (as a profession I believe). I'll eventually release a newer version during summer, but I'm currently prioritizing other stuff because interest is quite low anyway. And you can create all the cans you want with the autopopulate feature. Nobody likes 'wasting' a render to cans no one will sign. But you make a good point: we need more cans, damnit! They have their use too.

Blackman
I'm assigning some unused renders to some more ICE-FEM characters soon enough. These are just ager-renders of existing fighters. [removed]
Celuwyn
So, there will be a V1.4 ?
Blackman
So, there will be a V1.4 ? I'll be releasing a v1.4 soon, maybe this sunday. I just need to test some things. It's using a localised database (everything in USA). This makes for bad watcher games as the AI doesn't sign exclusive deals, but it's fun for single player games (2p-games are probably even more fun). It won't be anything groundbreaking so if you're in the middle of a game, you're better off just importing the few new fighters and adding the new ager renders (which will have to be activated manually). I also redid the hue of most of the Japanese renders from VBigB. They are great the way they are obviously but I personally always thought it was odd they looked yellowish. I'll include them in the download. The stats and settings have been tinkered with, but nothing really noteworthy.

It's possible to have a V1.4 without having all in the US, or the work is already done ? or the things that change with the V1.4 are not so important to continue playing with the V1.3 ? I boost the popularity of each company to national to "better" simulate the things, and with all the workers in US, the local shows would not work so well..
Blackman
Actually, the local shows work better. In a small database like this, the AI will spam local shows and the 23-year old Mexicans - for one - would be 12-0 if they're not signed. Due to the nature of the booking engine, matching these 'can-crushers' with your champions provides easy 100% events, which is often too tempting to ignore. Now, there's a local show every month, and a big ones every year, and everyone gets a piece of the cheese pie. But don't worry: the changes aren't big. You can just import the new fighters. In order to reset anything, just change every fighter's base to "Europe", than filter on Americans and set to US, Canadians to Canada and Japanese to Japan. There's a few exceptions, but it doesn't really matter where they live once you're national, does it (though there's always training camp membership, which is the biggest issue in this approach). But all workers in the US means competition between promotions, with champions immediately hyped (like in reality).

Blackman
The download to V1.4 is in the first post. Enjoy! I also found the render you wanted: it's in the freepictures somewhere and didn't make it in. If you want to make a character out of her please go ahead. Blackman
And some more aged_renders I apparently forgot. Might as well give them now instead of waiting for v1.5, which won't come for a long time as I don't feel changes are needed. Now I'm going to actually play the mod further than 2007 without restarting with changes. http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Mary%20Stanley_ager2.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Mary%20Stanley_ager.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Cattrina%20Schellar_ager2.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Cattrina%20Schellar_ager.gif
Blackman
And the last ones I forgot. It's one of the first (and last) times I'll ever use makeup. http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Tuga%20Matijevic.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Tuga%20Matijevic_1.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Tuga%20Matijevic_ager.gifhttp://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/WMMA/GIF/Tuga%20Matijevic_ager_1.gif And another thing: is there anyone who is willing to take all the renders from the mod and cross-reference them with the ones Adam included in vanilla and make a free_pictures file. I guess I could ask Rebby, but anyone can do it really. That way people that don't want to play this mod can use them.
Blackman
It just occured to me that - for longterm games - you'd have to use "TUF Japan" (or Brazil/Europe) to create actual foreign fighters, as only newly generated American fighters will spawn once you've put on the feature (at the recommended date of 2013). You can always use the editor to instantly create new fighters. I've never gotten so far ever, but my watcher games did. And you do notice the diversity starting to lessen when in 2025. Blackman
After actually playing through a long game using the mod, I'm going to make some more small changes and release v1.5 soon. I've fixes some typos and errors with narratives and titles, some stats, some debut dates, new renders, etcetera. Nothing major, but it's 'better' now imo. Any feedback is of course welcome. Is something missing? A feature you don't like? After this version I probably won't release another one for WMMA4 so might as well do it right. I'm looking forward to the update, I've been making a personal modification on an Greatly Improved CVE database using many of the resources found here on the forum. Are you adding any new female fighters?
Blackman
If you didn't change too many stats or erased work by other contributors, feel free to post your version in the topic as well. CVE can definitely be improved upon as the main responsible for it has been inactive for a while. I'm not adding any new fighters for now, but if there's new bios I might just do that. I still have unclaimed renders so that's no problem. But is it necessary? Most people don't play really long games. If your game lasts till 2010, which is already quite long, there are still new fighters that need to debut, so no need. I think I'm better off adding them to the freerenders. Computica
I'll eventually post it as a continuation of CVE, I try to flesh out the universe with bio and history, I have to add more bios to some companies and make the broadcasters more unique from each other. I do a lot of different play through to see how each character naturally reacts to the game world then make adjustments to them in the editor. Yes the more unique free renders for characters the better. I've done quite well when it comes to removing duplicate renders. I'm 99% sure I removed any duplicate characters so far. Also every team, broadcaster, and active fighter has a logo/banner/render. I could use some more unique renders that can be used for potential CEOs, Owners, and Broadcasters. All in all I want fighters who eventually retire in the early game to be of some importance weather they start a team, company, or become broadcasters. At this moment I have a lack of super heavy weight fighter renders. When I get the opportunity I'll eventually try and make my own.
Blackman
I've also given some women broadcasting stats, but it might take a while for them to actually retire so I might give more actual stats (tied to their interview rating). Too bad there's no attribute or option that makes someone more eligible to start a team/camp. I've seen it happen but it seems to be very rare.
