This will be a 3 person diary. The_CoC will have WWF and Know Your Enemy will have WCW. My intro will tell you who I will be taking....

Jim Cornette is sitting at his house and receives a phone call from the man investing money into Smokey Mountain Wrestling. To make the long story short he tells Cornette that he loves Smokey Mountain Wrestling but his business has gone under from a bad business decision and tells Cornette that he is going to sell Smokey Mountain. Cornette only knows one thing to do. WCW & WWF are looking to be on the verge of going to war but Cornette believes there is room for a 3rd national promotion. He calls the one person who he knows has the skills to make take a promotion to the top...... Jerry Jarrett.

After several days of negotiations Jarrett Cornette and the investor agree to a price and Smokey Mountain Wrestling has officially merged into the United States Wrestling Alliance. Jerry Jarrett, Jerry Lawler and Jim Cornette will now all work together to build an empire. Jarrett knows in order to have a national promotion he needs national TV. He calls the station that used to air his TV show for a brief time... ESPN. Now that they have national TV and a well assembled roster featuring some top talent. They look to give fans a third option as the top two have literally monopolized the business that was once so good to everyone with places to work.

The USWA opening music plays and Lance Russell and Dave Brown are at the announcers desk.... but an old familiar face to some wrestling fans... Bob Caudle. </p><p> </p><p>

Lance: "Heeeeellllooo everybody Lance Russell here with Dave Brown and another great announcer... the legendary Bob Caudle."</p><p> </p><p>

Bob: "Hello again wrestling fans and we are coming to you from Memphis Tennessee, known as the hot bed of pro wrestling and I'm glad to be here."</p><p> </p><p>

Brown: "Yes it's good indeed but we need to get down to business."</p><p> </p><p>

Lance: "Yes we do... lets get the man out here in charge... Jerry Jarrett."</p><p> </p><p>

Jerry Jarret comes out with USWA commissioner Eddie Marlin.</p><p> </p><p>

Jarrett: "Fans today the wrestling world will be forever changed. On Thursday night I made a purchase that will change the landscape of the wrestling world. With two promotions basically owning the wrestling world me and Eddie Marlin and a select few of others have been talking for a long time about taking a shot of expanding the region of the USWA TV by getting national TV to compete with the other two. Now to tell you what happened on Thursday night, but before I do I need to bring out a man that was involved... Bob Armstrong."</p><p> </p><p>

Bob Armstrong comes out and the crowd doesn't really know what's going on.</p><p> </p><p>

Jarrett: "I got a phone call earlier in the week from the Owner of Smokey Mountain Wrestling telling me that he was interested in selling Smokey Mountain. So we thought this was the perfect opportunity to take the chance we have been wanting too. As of Thursday night Smokey Mountain Wrestling is no more and they have merged with the USWA."</p><p> </p><p>

The crowd has an uproar.</p><p> </p><p>

Jarrett: "Now Bob Armstrong was the acting commissioner for Smokey Mountain and as most of you know Eddie Marlin has been ours here. So for the next month both men will be co-commissioner together for the next month until all of the kinks get worked out. Before I let Mr. Armstrong speak I will announce that all Smokey Mountain and USWA titles have been vacated and a tournament will be held for the Heavyweight and tag tournaments. Also a new belt will also have a tournament, the Southern Title. Now without further introduction... Bob Armstrong."</p><p> </p><p>

Armstrong: "Thanks Jerry. This certainly is ground breaking for the wrestling industry. You fans are in for a real treat because not only will you get to see all of the USWA wrestlers that you see here every week. You'll get to see all of the Smokey Mountain guys here every week as well like Jake Roberts, Brian Lee, Dory & Terry Funk, Tracy Smothers, The Mongolian Stomper, and Myself!"</p><p> </p><p>

The crowd applauds as Armstrong Marlin & Jarrett all shake hands and walk away.</p><p> </p><p>

USWA Southern Tournament Match</p><p>

Brian Christopher vs Kendo the Samurai</p><p> </p><p>

Kendo throws Christopher into the corner and charges but Brian moves and Kendo smashes the turnbuckle and when he turns Christopher smashes him with a super kick!!</p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Brian Christopher</p><p> </p><p>

We go to ringside where Bob Caudle is with the Rock n Roll Express.</p><p> </p><p>

Caudle: "Everybody should know this team as they are the main picks to win this."</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky Morton: "Well Bob it's good to be out here with you again. However there are a lot of tough teams like the Funk Brothers, Moondogs, Eliminators and many more."</p><p> </p><p>

Gibson: "That's right Ricky but it doesn't matter because we know all these fans are behind us and Rock n Roll is here to stay!"</p><p> </p><p>

Dirty White Boy with Robert Fuller vs Tony Falk</p><p> </p><p>

Dirty White Boy has worked on Falk for minutes longer than he should have as this was over before it started. He shoots Falk off the ropes and hits a clothesline!</p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Dirty White Boy</p><p> </p><p>

Dirty White Boy comes over with Robert Fuller</p><p> </p><p>

Lance: "Oh Boy... here we go with this."</p><p> </p><p>

Fuller: "You know I got real tired of spending my days working for a phony company that my stable dominated so I've decided to take my business else where! I'm starting a new Stud Stable and I've already got a couple of members but I want you to meet my new once Lancelot... the Dirty White Boy!"</p><p> </p><p>

DWB: "Let's not forget one thing Robert... how come I'm not in this so called 'Tournament' Lance Russell?"</p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "How would I know? I don't book the matches."</p><p> </p><p>

DWB: "What are you good for Lance! It's so obvious that the Jarrett's and Lawler's are favoring their side of this promotion..."</p><p> </p><p>

Fuller: "It sure doesn't help with Bobby Armstrong as our commissioner on the Smokey Mountain side.... he's so crooked he booked himself in the tournament!"</p><p> </p><p>

Fuller and Anthony shake hands as Lance Russell shakes his head.</p><p> </p><p>

Brown: "Speaking of the tournaments coming up to decide who wins the new belts maybe we should show the fans the brackets."</p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "Good thinking Dave. These Tournaments will take place mostly in the Mid South Collisuem. Some of these matches you'll get to see on TV though as we want to give you guys just a taste of how good it is on Monday nights! Lets take a look"</p><p> </p><p>

Caudle yells out from ringside something that Lance Russell barley heard.</p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "Who was your champions?"</p><p> </p><p>

Caudle walks over.</p><p> </p><p>

Caudle: "How are Brian Lee and Chris Candido not in this? They were the Smokey Mountain Tag Champions."</p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "Now that's a great question Bob! Maybe we should look into that."</p><p> </p><p>

Brown: "I haven't seen Brian Lee all day Bob."</p><p> </p><p>

Caudle: "Well that is strange Lance... maybe we will find that out later in the show."</p><p> </p><p>

Brown: "Now that is very strange that Candido is in the Southern Tournament but not the tag."</p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "It certainly is but we will get to the bottom of that I assure you."</p><p> </p><p>

Now we will have one of the qualifying matches for the tag tournament.</p><p> </p><p>

Thrillseekers vs King & Doll</p><p> </p><p>

King and Doll barley get any offense in and the Thrillseekers finish them with a double goozle.</p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Thrillseekers</p><p> </p><p>

Chris Candido comes out to the stage.</p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "Chris all of us, fans included want to know what's going on here."</p><p> </p><p>

Candido: "Lance I swear I don't know where Brian Lee is! I have called him all week trying to figure out if he wanted in the tournament and he won't answer my calls. It came down to it and at the last second I had to make a decision and I went and put my name in the Southern Tournament."</p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "Well there are two sides to every story Candido so we will see."</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The Mongolian Stomper with Jimmy Valiant vs King Kobra</p><p> </p><p>

Kobra doesn't get much in and the Stomper eats him alive!</p><p> </p><p>

Winner: The Stomper</p><p> </p><p>

Reggie B. Fine comes jiving down to the ring. He stops and grabs the mic from Bob Caudle.</p><p> </p><p>

Fine: "I heard that I have a surprise opponent today... well whoever it is they are in for a world of pain!"</p><p> </p><p>

A young blonde haired man goes running to the ring by the name of Chris Hamrick.</p><p> </p><p>

Reggie B. Fine vs Chris Hamrick</p><p> </p><p>

Hamrick dropkicks Fine and down he goes! Hamrick goes up to the top rope and is coming off with a Cross body but Fine catches him! Fine hits a power slam!</p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Reggie B. Fine</p><p> </p><p>

Buddy Landel vs Scott Armstrong</p><p> </p><p>

Armstrong hits 3 quick arm drags in a row and Landel blocks the hiptoss and turns it around to a neck breaker. Landel now goes for the figure four!</p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Buddy Landel</p><p> </p><p>

Jimmy Valiant vs Moondog Spot</p><p> </p><p>

Spot is beating Valiant in the corner but out of nowhere Valiant comes firing back! Valiant is blocking everything and hitting everything as Spot doesn't know whether to cry or wind his watch!! He throws Spot off of the ropes and hits and Elbow! Spot rolls out of the ring before Valiant can finish him. Spot takes off running and Valiant goes after him! Ref Jerry Calhoun counts to ten and this one is over!</p><p> </p><p>

Jimmy Golden with Robert Fuller vs Colorado Kid</p><p> </p><p>

Colorado Kid throws Golden off of the ropes and goes for a drop kick but Golden but Golden hangs onto the ropes! Golden hits several knee drops in a row and then picks up the Kid and hits a pile driver.</p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Jimmy Golden</p><p> </p><p>

Fuller and Golden come over to Russell and Brown</p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "Well I guess this is one of your other members right?"</p><p> </p><p>

Fuller: "You'd have to be the smartest man in Memphis Lancelot.... what's your IQ? 180? You know Jimmy Golden isn't in any of the tournaments but that's because we was dominating the world in other places but like I said the Stud Stable has now moved on to the best promotion in the world! You're talking about the greatest names coming together to create the greatest promotion ever and the Stud Stable is going to be on top of it! We are going to have ALLLLLL THE BELTS!! WE ARE THE GREATEST STABLE OF ALLLLLLL TIME! I"M THE GREATEST MANAGER OF ALLLLLLLL TIME! HAHAHAHHAA!!!!"</p><p> </p><p>

Nightmares Danny Davis & Ken Wayne vs Doug Gilbert & Tommy Rich with Eddie Gilbert</p><p> </p><p>

Brown: "This is a strange one as neither team is too well liked by the fans."</p><p> </p><p>

Both teams take as many cheap shots as they can trying to win. </p><p> </p><p>

They go all four and and Danny Davis and Tommy Rich are in the ring and Ken Wayne and Doug Gilbert are fighting around the fans. Ref Mark Curtis is outside the ring trying to get Wayne & Gilbert back in the ring. Rich elbows Davis and Davis falls backwards but then drop kicks Rich! Rich rolls over to Eddie Gilbert and Eddie hands Rich a chain! Davis goes to pick Rich up but Rich fires a right hand into the gut of Davis then busts him with the chain! Eddie goes and gets Curtis.... count to 1000...."</p><p> </p><p>

Winner: Gilbert & Rich</p><p> </p><p>

Caudle: "Well you certainly pulled out all the stops to win that one!"</p><p>

Rich: "Well somebody say something about the best in the world! All the stars are aligning at the right time and you're looking at the World Heavyweight and me and Dougie as the tag champions!"</p><p> </p><p>

Eddie: "That's right Tommy! You see Bob Caudle you wouldn't understand because it's a Gilbert thing. You know everybody talks about the Lawler's and the Jarrett's but nobody gives the Gilbert's any credit! Well now it's time we go out and take it!"</p><p> </p><p>

Caudle: "Speaking of the King you'll see Jerry Lawler coming up next.</p><p> </p><p>

Bull Pain vs Jerry Lawler</p><p> </p><p>

Jerry Lawler is in control of most of this one as he is getting all of his moves in showing this hot Memphis crowd why he's the king. Lawler dominates Bull Pain and score one in the W column as he hits a second rope fist drop!</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler is celebrating when out of no where King Kong Bundy hits the ring and splashes Lawler into the turnbuckle! Lawler goes limp and Bundy picks him up and power slams him! </p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "Well what in the Sam Hill is going on here!"</p><p>

Cornette is now in the ring and is jumping with enjoyment! Bundy splashes Lawler and Cornette forces Ref Frank Morell to count to 5! Bundy and Cornette walk away laughing.</p><p> </p><p>

Brown: "We need to get some help out here! Fans we are really sorry about this... here's a look at what's going to happen this Monday at the Mid South Coliseum."</p><p> </p><p>

Kronus and Saturn throw Ice & Wolfie into the ropes and both go for back drops J.C. & Wolfie D leap frog them and when they come back off of the ropes Wolfie D hits a crossbody on Kronus but Saturn hits a powerslam on J.C. ICE and both Wolfie & Saturn are going for pins! Ref Jerry Calhoun is counting both teams pin falls!

The Gangsta's are way out matched in this one as far as wrestling goes but the control most of this by cheating and not letting Storm tag in.

New Jack throws Storm off of the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Storm ducks and hits a springboard elbow!

Storm goes over and tags Jericho!

Jericho comes in and hits a flying forearm onto Mustapha as he came into the ring. Jericho then throws New Jack off of the ropes and hits a sunset flip! Ref Mark Curtis has slid down to make the count and is checking the shoulder of New Jack meanwhile Mustapha comes up behind Jericho and hits him with brass knuckles!

Mustapha throws New Jack on top of Jericho and throws Storm out of the ring.

Rich shoots Morton off of the ropes and hits an elbow then tags in Doug Gilbert.

Gilbert puts Morton in a headlock and Ricky is trying to get the crowd fired up!

Crowd: "ROCK N ROLL!! ROCK N Roll!!"

Morton gets to his feet and shoots Gilbert off of the ropes and hits a punch to Gilbert's ribs then shoots off of the ropes and hits a knee lift!

Morton tags in Robert and they are getting fired up!

Tommy comes in and Robert is handling him and Ricky has Doug.

They each have their counterpart on the opposite side of the ring and go to throw them together but Rich & Gilbert reverse it!! Gibson hit Morton so hard that Robert fell out of the ring!

They shoot Morton off of the ropes and hit a double clothesline. Now Gilbert is holding Morton and Rich is going to the second rope. Rich comes off with a double axe handle but Morton moves and he destroys Gilbert!

Morton hits Rich with a drop kick and lands on Gilbert!

Dundee waits patiently for Armstrong to get up.

Armstrong is getting into the ring and is in between the ropes when Dundee comes running over and cheap shots Armstrong! Pin Fall

This one is about as wild as all get out. Terry is in the ring with Moondog Spot as their match resembles that of a bar room brawl. Funk gets thrown by his hair to one side of the ring. Funk gets up and takes off running and crossbody's Spot and they both go over the ropes! Now Dory and Rex now join them on the outside and ref Jerry Calhoun is counting. Spot busts Terry with the dog bone and splits him wide open! DING DING DING DING DING!!

Ref Jerry Calhoun has called for the bell and awards the match to the Funks.

They continue to fight all through the crowd

Jerry Lawler vs King Kong Bundy with Jim Cornette

Lawler comes to the ring with a big ovation of the crowd but something is different about Lawler. He is wearing a t-shirt and is slowly walking to the ring.

Bundy controls this whole match but can't seem to put Lawler away.

Bundy throws Lawler in the corner and hits several shoulder blocks into the ribs of Lawler and then chokes the King with his boot. As Ref Carl Fergie backs Bundy off of Lawler Cornette is choking the king!

Bundy continues to work on the ribs of Lawler and applies a bear hug!

Lawler looks to be going out but hits several rights into the face of Bundy and he drops Lawler. Lawler comes off of the ropes and hits a big right hand into Bundy and he staggers back. Lawler comes off of the ropes again but this time Bundy clotheslines him! Pin Fall

Bundy picks up Lawler and body slams him hard into the mat! Bundy is signaling for the big splash that he used on Lawler on TV.

Bundy goes off the ropes and jumps into the air but he bought the farm as the King just barely got out of the way! Bundy has rolled over onto his back.

Lawler is very slow getting up to the top rope and when he gets up there Cornette gets on the ropes! Ref Carl Fergie goes over and shoves him off the ropes!

Lawler comes off of the top with a BIG fist drop!!

Lance: "Hello again everybody and you're watching USWA We Are Wrestling!"</p><p> </p><p>

Brown: "Yes and if you missed the mid south coliseum show Monday night you really missed a great show."</p><p> </p><p>

Lance: "They sure did I tell you that one! From now on we'd like to make the announcement to all of you watching that the weekly mid south shows will be moved to Tuesday night. So make sure if you know someone who watches us regularly but isn't watching right now please tell them so they know that they are welcome to show up to the coliseum on Monday but there for sure won't be any wrestling because it's no moved to Tuesday nights! Now before we move on we are going to play a short video of a remembrance to Wrestling on Monday nights."</p><p> </p><p>

Lance: "Right Dave, you'll get to see "Nature Boy" Buddy Landel vs Jake Roberts and "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert vs Sid Vicious for the USWA World Heavyweight Tournament plus you'll get to see Koko B. Ware vs Spellbinder for the Southern."</p><p> </p><p>

Brown: "Yes and those should be fantastic matches. Now fans we'd like for you to take a look at what happened last Monday in the Coliseum."</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler: "Yeah I heard since he failed to put me out Cornette told him to pack his bags."</p><p> </p><p>

Lance: "Now we have to ask though, how are the ribs Jerry?"</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler: "Ribs are doing fine Lance I had them checked out after the match Monday, just some minor bruising is all, I'll be advancing into the next round for sure and plan on winning that title I'm telling you that."</p><p> </p><p>

Lance: "Okay Jerry good to hear and good to have you out here today."</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler walks away and Vicious comes out.</p><p> </p><p>

Lance: "Oh brother here we go."</p><p> </p><p>

Vicious: "What Lance? You jealous of me? I don't even have to ask cause everyone is. Jerry Lawler knows it.... Jake Roberts knows it, and Eddie Gilbert is going to know it because in a little bit I'm going to make Eddie Gilbert wish that his dad was a milk man instead of a wrestler because his dad is one of those people who lives their life through their kids and we will just see how it works out for him. Vicious walks away and we get started today.</p><p> </p><p>

Steve Armstrong vs Kendo the Samurai</p><p> </p><p>

Kendo the Samurai isn't gaining much momentum and he doesn't in this one either. Steve throws Kendo into the turnbuckle and then comes off the ropes and hits a bulldog!</p><p> </p><p>

Brown: "Lets go to ringside with Bob Caudle."</p><p> </p><p>

Caudle: "I have with me a team who lost at the Mid South Coliseum on Monday due to some controversy, the Thrill Seekers. I've heard you guys want to say something about this."</p><p> </p><p>

Jericho: "Well yes sir we sure do. Gangsters! New Jack & Mustapha you may have won the battle but you haven't lost the war! We will get revenge and we won't quit fighting until those USWA belts are around our waists!"</p><p> </p><p>

Reggie B. Fine vs Scott Armstrong</p><p> </p><p>

Reggie B. Fine comes out wearing a mink coat and fedora to match jiving around the studio and comes over to Lance Russell.</p><p> </p><p>

Fine: "Lance why do they even put me out here on TV? We'd have to move from the Coliseum to the Liberty Bowl if you made people pay $50 to see me wrestle! And I'd do it too! As long as it was a 70/30 split.... me getting the 70% of course!"</p><p> </p><p>

Lance: "Yeah... $50... Reggie why don't you let your wrestling do the talking...."</p><p> </p><p>

Reggie takes Scott lightly and is on the losing end for most of this.</p><p> </p><p>

Reggie goes over to his mink coat and pulls out a brick!!</p><p> </p><p>

Ref Frank Morrell makes him put it away!!</p><p> </p><p>

Reggie is complaining loudly when Armstrong comes up behind him and school boys him!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Dirty White Boy controls all of this one and then eventually finishes him off with a Power Slam.</p><p> </p><p>

Dirty White Boy and Fuller go over to Russell and Brown.</p><p> </p><p>

Fuller: "Lancelot what's wrong with these people? Why would they boo us? They wouldn't know a good wrestler if one came up and smacked them in the face. They have seen such bad wrestling here for so long with people like Jimmy Valiant and Jerry Lawler that they don't know good talent when they see it!"</p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "Ohh yeah... that's what it is.... I'd say more like the other way around Robert..."</p><p> </p><p>

DWB: "I don't care what these hill jacks say! I want to know why I'm not in the tournament Lance Russell? I just beat a man who was in the tournament. What else do I have to prove."</p><p> </p><p>

Russell: "I've told you before and I'll tell you once again that I don't make the matches here, go ask Eddie Marlin or Bob Armstrong."</p><p> </p><p>

Fuller: "Armstrong? HAHAHA He put himself in a tournament and couldn't even win! He lost to that little midget that calls himself the 'Superstar'. Armstrong should just quit why he's still able too before he gets hurt."</p><p> </p><p>

Fuller and Dirty White Boy walk off.</p><p> </p><p>

Bill Dundee comes out.</p><p> </p><p>

Dundee: "You know Lancer I ought to go over there a bust their heads in but I'm wearing this $2000 suit so I think I'll just stay here next to you and Dave."</p><p> </p><p>

Lance: "Bill good to see you but I have a question that I think all of these people want answered and that's why did you cheap shot Bob Armstrong?"</p><p> </p><p>

Dundee: "Cheap shot? Cheap shot? Let me tell you something Lancer this is a tournament for the World title! The World champion makes the most money and when you wave that money in my face I'm willing to do anything to get it brother. Bob Armstrong has been wrestling just as long as me, he should've known better. You have to do what you have to do to win."</p><p> </p><p>

Dundee stays positive while saying this and the fans cheer him.</p><p> </p><p>

Spellbinder has the size but Koko has the skill.</p><p> </p><p>

Armstrong comes in and the heels get the heat on him.</p><p> </p><p>

Landel throws Armstrong off the ropes and goes for an elbow but Armstrong ducks and turns around and catches Landel in the sleeper!!</p><p> </p><p>

Landel is going out when Rich comes in behind Armstrong and elbows him in the neck. Armstrong lets go and Rich and Landel throw Armstrong off of the ropes and are going for a double clothesline but Armstrong ducks that as well and comes back with a double clothesline!!</p><p> </p><p>

Armstrong slowly crawls over to the ropes and tags in the Stomper!!</p><p> </p><p>

The Stomper comes in and Doug Gilbert comes over and the Stomper hits him with a right hand!</p><p> </p><p>

Valiant comes in and takes Rich & Landel and cracks their heads together!</p><p>

Rich falls outside of the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

Stomper has Gilbert in the corner whaling away on him.</p><p> </p><p>

Valiant goes off of the ropes for the elbow but Rich trips his leg and drags Valiant out of the ring!</p><p> </p><p>

Valiant and Right all over the outside.</p><p> </p><p>

Stomper throws Gilbert off of the ropes and hits a back drop!</p><p> </p><p>

The Stomper is jumping up and stomping away on Gilbert's ribs and is going to throw him off of the ropes and hit him with that big boot he's known for.</p><p> </p><p>

He throws Gilbert off of the ropes but before he hits it Landel comes over and chop blocks him!</p><p> </p><p>

Landel is going to put the Stomper in the figure four!!</p><p> </p><p>

Stomper is in a lot of pain!</p><p> </p><p>

Rich goes to throw Valiant in the post but Valiant blocks it and throws him into it!</p><p> </p><p>

Armstrong goes over to Gilbert and catches him in the sleeper!!</p><p> </p><p>

Landel still has the Stomper in that figure four and is doing a lot of damage!</p><p> </p><p>

Valiant runs off of the ropes and hits that big elbow drop onto Landel!!</p><p> </p><p>

Gilbert is now knocked out and Armstrong comes over to make the cover!</p><p> </p><p>

Landel can't kick out because his legs are tied up in the Stomper's!!</p><p> </p><p>

They go right at each other right off of the bat and it turns into a real street fight instead of a wrestling match. Ref Jerry Calhoun finally gets ordered restored as most ref's would have already stopped this one. </p><p> </p><p>

J.C. Ice throws Mustapha into the ropes but he comes back with a clothesline that nearly takes J.C.'s head clean off. </p><p> </p><p>

New Jack exposes the turnbuckle nearest to him.</p><p> </p><p>

Mustapha goes to pick up J.C. but Wolfie D comes in out of no where and throws grabs Mustapha and throws him into the exposed turnbuckle!!</p><p>

Mustapha instantly opens up and he's wearing a crimson mask!</p><p>

New Jack comes in and throws Wolfie D out of the ring and follows him!</p><p>

They go fighting to through the crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

J.C. Ice grabs Mustapha and hits him with a DDT and is now going to the top!</p><p>

J.C. comes off the top with a top rope leg drop but Mustapha moves!</p><p>

Mustapha picks up the hub cap that PG 13 comes out with and goes to hit J.C. with it!</p><p> </p><p>

Jerry Calhoun stops him!</p><p> </p><p>

Calhoun is putting it away but that was just a distraction as Mustapha pulls out brass knuckles!</p><p> </p><p>

He goes to hit J.C. but Ice moves and gets behind Mustapha.</p><p>

He picks Mustapha up and atomic drops him and he springs forward right into the exposed turnbuckle again!</p><p> </p><p>

Mustapha is now completely covered and doesn't look like he can see.</p><p>

He's swinging wild with those brass knuckles but won't reach J.C. because he's up on the top rope!</p><p> </p><p>

J.C. goes to come off the top but New Jack comes out of no where and pulls his legs and his splits the top of the post!</p><p> </p><p>

Jerry Calhoun has lost control of this one and calls for the bell! He rules this a double DQ.</p><p> </p><p>

Both teams are fighting throughout the Coliseum until they are out of sight...</p><p> </p><p>

Rex hasn't been able to tag in for a long time now.</p><p> </p><p>

DWB has Rex in the corner and is choking him until the count of four and then tags in Golden.</p><p> </p><p>

Golden goes to take Rex and throw him off of the ropes but Dirty White Boy is telling Golden to bring him over to him.</p><p> </p><p>

Golden hesitates but then brings him over and DWB holds his arms against the ropes and Golden takes a couple of steps back and then goes to bust him but Rex moves and hits DWB!!</p><p> </p><p>

Golden is shocked and turns around and Rex hits a big jumping head butt and down goes Golden.</p><p> </p><p>

Rex goes off of the ropes and hits a big splash!</p><p> </p><p>

Rock n Roll Express vs Dory & Terry Funk</p><p> </p><p>

Dory & Terry have been really wearing down on Ricky's leg and he's hobbling around not getting much in.</p><p> </p><p>

Terry hits a knee breaker on Morton and drags him over to the corner by his leg and tags in Dory Funk Jr.</p><p> </p><p>

Dory comes in and elbows the leg several times and looks to be going for the spinning toe hold!</p><p> </p><p>

Dory has it locked in and goes to spin it around and is squatting down to apply more force.</p><p> </p><p>

Morton is in a lot of pain as Ref Frank Morrell is asking him if he gives but Morton says no.</p><p> </p><p>

Dory Funk goes to spin around again and when he gets around Morton grabs the back of Funk's neck and small packages him!!</p><p> </p><p>

Gibson comes in to get rid of Terry but Terry throws him out of the ring!</p><p> </p><p>

Roberts goes over to his bag in the corner and pulls out the snake!</p><p> </p><p>

All three men are outside the ring not paying attention.</p><p> </p><p>

Roberts walks over to the ropes and throws the snake on top of them!!</p><p> </p><p>

All three men fall to the ground and are freaked out freaked out by the snake!</p><p> </p><p>

Ref Mark Curtis is yelling at Roberts as he and the crowd are laughing.</p><p> </p><p>

Eddie Gilbert is all of a sudden no where to be seen...</p><p> </p><p>

Wildfire gets up and yells at Curtis.</p><p> </p><p>

Rich: "Curtis you come out here and put that snake back in its bag or we are gonna get in that ring and beat the tar out of that man!"</p><p> </p><p>

Curtis goes outside with the bag and is trying to get the snake....</p><p> </p><p>

Gilbert crawls out from under the ring on the other side!</p><p> </p><p>

Gilbert sneaks up into the ring and turns Roberts around...</p><p> </p><p>

Dundee is in the ring all fired up as Jerry Lawler slowly comes down to the ring wearing a t-shirt again just like his last match.</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler slowly gets into the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

Dundee: "You okay Kingfish!"</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler: "I'm ready to go Bill, you better be ready yourself!"</p><p> </p><p>

This match starts slow with several lock ups and clean breaks. </p><p> </p><p>

Lawler has Dundee in a side headlock and Dundee presses him against the ropes and Ref Carl Fergie is attempting to break it.</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler holds on past the count of 5 and Dundee elbows him to get him off.</p><p> </p><p>

Immediately Lawler falls to the ground like he's been stabbed with a knife.</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler is holding his ribs and Dundee decides to start kicking him in the ribs.</p><p> </p><p>

The crowd comes in an uproar booing Dundee for his unsportsmanlike. </p><p> </p><p>

Dundee keeps on Lawler and the King is in bad shape.</p><p> </p><p>

Dundee now has a chin lock on Lawler and Lawler is really hurting...</p><p> </p><p>

The crowd is getting behind Lawler and he's trying to get up but Dundee pulls Lawler's hair and down he goes and once again Dundee is stomping on Lawler's ribs and the crowd goes bizerk!!</p><p>

Dundee keeps kicking the King in the ribs. Finally Dundee bends down and rips the shirt off of Lawler and now the cat is out of the bag....</p><p>

Lawler is wrapped up around his ribs and it's obvious that he lied to Lance Russell on TV when he said he was fine.</p><p> </p><p>

Dundee just looks at the crowd and does what we call today the discount double check strutting around laughing.</p><p> </p><p>

Dundee goes to pick up Lawler but Lawler fires a right into the belly of the Superstar.</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler fires several more and Dundee staggers backwards.</p><p> </p><p>

Lawler gets up and Dundee comes at him but he throws a standing drop kick!</p><p>

Both men go down and the crowd erupts for Lawler!</p><p>

Dundee throws Lawler on top of the table at ringside but doesn't break it.</p><p>

Lawler is on top of the table and Dundee climbs up onto the apron.</p><p>

Dundee runs and goes to drop an elbow on Lawler but Lawler rolls into the ring and Dundee smacks the table!</p><p>

USWA We Are Wrestling Week 3 January 1994

We open up the show in the WMC TV Studio to an energetic crowd as Bob Caudle & Dave Brown are standing at ringside.

Caudle: "Hello again wrestling fans! I'm Bob Caudle here with Dave Brown and Lance Russell will be on the show as well. What a night it was at the Mid South Coliseum on Tuesday Dave!"

Brown: "Yes it was and we have another exciting week of TV here today as it's all leading up to the big show next Tuesday when both singles titles in the USWA will be crowned."

Caudle: "Indeed but right now we want to show you a video of how the tag titles were won on Tuesday."

A video recaps the night.

Dave Brown has left and it's just Bob Caudle when we return.

Caudle: "I'd like to call out the new USWA World Tag Team champions.... The Rock n Roll Express."

Ricky & Robert come out to a huge pop.

Caudle: "Well you guys won the battle but it looks like this one is going to be a long long war."

Morton: "You know what Bob you're right but let's just get right down to it. Yeah we won but they showed poor sportsmanship by doing what they did to us. My neck is sore but it's not going to cause me to stay out because this is pro wrestling and that's what can happen. Me and Robert have just won the titles and can't afford to give them up."

Gibson: "That's right Ricky and we are going to keep on keepin on as we come into the new year and it may be a new year but Rock n Roll is always here to stay!"

The Rock n Roll go to leave when the Funks come out.

Terry: "Look at these bums Dory.... dressed like a bunch of gypsies.... you walk out here.... you tell everyone how good you are.... LUCK! That's all it was Morton... It was only luck that Robert Gibson.... I can't even say that name without wanting to throw up! It was only luck that he hit the move on my brother at the right time. As you saw in the film when he did it I was readjusting my laces on my boots and that's the only reason I didn't make it into the ring in time.

Caudle: "Well I didn't see that in the tape."

Terry: "Bob Caudle you need to replace your glasses if you didn't... you're so old you used to announce in the roman coliseum way before the mid south was ever built!"

Morton: "Well look Terry we won the titles and you got your little pay back for it and that's all fine and dandy, but we aren't going to listen to you keep running that lip so why don't you just tell us what you want?"

Dory: "Boy you think you can just come out here and talk to two world's champions like that? You can talk all you want because talk is cheap..."

Dory and Terry start brawling with the Rock n Roll Express and they battle all around the ring.

Dory throws Gibson into the ring post and down he goes!

Terry is in the ring with Morton and Morton hits 3 head scissors in a row!

Dory comes in behind Morton and now he's trapped.

They really are laying them in on Morton and look to be going for the Spike Pile Driver!

Terry is holding him up and Dory is going to the top when Koko B. Ware and Bobby Blaze come out!

Terry drops Morton and they take off to the back!

We all know how this is going to go...

New Jack and Mustapha come over to Lance Russell.

NJ: "Ya know Lance! I just can't get over what happened Tuesday night.... I was so focused on beating PG-13 to a pulp that I forgot that there was a 10 count and it costed us.... well let me tell you something PG-13! We are gonna get you honkies! You walk round here dressed like a couple of wiggers thinkin you real bad! Well you gonna see what BAD is real soon!!

Bobby Blaze vs Bull Pain

Pain gets no offense and Bobby Blaze shows the world why he is one of the most underrated wrestlers ever.

Chris Candido and Tammy Fytch come out.

Caudle: "With me is the man going into Tuesday after some gold... Chris Candido."

Candido: "Well it looks like I have that spoiled little brat Brian Christopher. He walks around here with everyone telling him how good he is and he grew up getting whatever he wanted. Well Christopher..."

Candido jumps down to the ground and pumps out about 20 push ups.

Candido: "Sorry... just couldn't help myself. Anyway Christopher I've been working real hard training for this and I'm not going to let anyone take it from me."

Caudle: "Well whatever happened to your partner Brian Lee?"

Candido: "Well.... I kept calling you know... but he wouldn't answer.... Caudle quit trying to get me off track I'm already off track part of the time because of this beautiful woman next to me..."

Candido & Fytch walk off.

Thrill Seeker's vs Kendo the Samurai & Spellbinder

The Thrill Seeker's really seem to start clicking and everything goes right for them in this one. They hit the double goozle on Samurai for the win.

Bill Dundee walks out.

Russell: "Well now here is a guy we want to talk to so we can get some answers, just what side of the fence are you on?"

Dundee: "Well Lancer, I'm on my side of the fence. Fuller & Golden and guys like that can be on their side of the fence, Lawler and Valiant can be on their side and the Superstar will stay on his side brother."

Russell: "Well I guess you use the word friend lightly Bill because you say Lawler is your friend but what you did to him Tuesday wasn't what a friend would do. Explain that Superstar."

Dundee: "My side of the fence says that I do what I have to do to win. Lancer you've told me before that you used to play baseball in high school. If you were playing against a friend from another school in the championship game you'd do whatever you have to do to win right? Well brother that's just what I did!"

Russell: "Well I guess that's a pretty good point. Bill thanks for coming out."

Buddy Landel vs Tony Falk

Landel works the leg of Falk and puts him away with the figure four!

Winner: Buddy Landel

Russell: "Well this week is already...."

Russell is cut off by Sid Vicious who has a black eye.

Vicious: "Last week I was unable to wrestle. I was then taken to the hospital by EMT's. Why did this happen? I was attacked by 3 men in the parking lot. They got me pretty good Lance Russell but I'm not dead! The men who attacked me were wearing black masks and all black outfits but one of the left something in the parking lot that give me a tip on who they were...."

Vicious holds up a wallet.

Vicious: "It may not be today... tomorrow... or next week.... or maybe it will be today...."

Reggie B. Fine vs Brian Christopher

Reggie takes Christopher to the limit but doesn't quite get the job done and Christopher hits the Tennessee Jam for the win.

Eliminators vs Bart Sawyer & Koko B. Ware

Koko & Bart Sawyer make a good team and the crowd is behind them.

Sawyer makes a hot tag to Koko and he's taking care of business.

Sawyer and Koko throw the Eliminator's together and they boy go down!

Koko B. Ware & Sawyer both climb the ropes and come of the top for a splash!

Both of the Eliminators move!

Perry Saturn picks up Bart Sawyer and slams him on top of Koko! Saturn then lets Kronus pick him up and Kronus Samoan Drops him on top of both of them!

Kronus then goes onto the top rope and jumps off onto all of them!

J.C. Ice & Wolfie D have their hands full.

ICE is on the ground and Danny Davis elbow drops him 3 times and then tags in Ken Wayne. Ken Wayne jumps over the top rope and lands with a knee drop!

Wayne has a waist lock on ICE and chases him into the ropes and J.C. tags in Wolfie then Ken Wayne does a standing roll!

Wayne doesn't realize that ICE isn't the legal man and Wolfie D runs in and shoots off the ropes and hits a bulldog on Ken Wayne!

J.C. ICE gets up and drop kicks Danny Davis off of the apron!

Immediately following the match the Gangsta's charge with trash cans and hammers the team of Wolfie D & J.C. Ice.

It doesn't last for long as the Moondogs come out and save them!

Smothers: "Lance you saw and all the people on Tuesday night saw exactly what happened and I have went to the board of directors and have got my wish. This Tuesday it's me and the Dirty White Boy and let me tell you something Lance I will get some payback!"

Doug Gilbert & Tommy Rich with Eddie Gilbert vs Scott & Steve Armstrong

Scott & Steve are in the ring when their opponents come out.

Russell: "And you just know when you see two Gilbert's and a Rich walk out somebody's up to no good Dave."

They are getting ready to get in the ring when Sid Vicious comes out of no where and takes Doug Gilbert's baseball bat off of him and starts taking them out!

Eddie takes off before Vicious can get to him but Doug gets hit in the ribs with the bat then across the back!

Tommy comes up behind him and hits him but it doesn't even phase Vicious as he just turns around real slow and Wildfire starts backing up but he backed right up against the ring post with no where to go!

Vicious swings like Babe Ruth and Tommy ducks and Vicious bent the bat and dented in the ring post!

Rich & Gilbert take off running and Vicious has ran out of people to hit!

Vicious drops the bat and jumps in the ring after the Armstrong's!

Steve & Scott don't back down but they get beat down as Psycho Sid destroys them and then goes over to Bob Caudle.

Sid: "Bobby ole boy what you saw was just a sample of what I'm going to do! Eddie Gilbert you better hope I don't see you anywhere around Memphis!"

We come back from a commercial break and Jerry Jarrett and Bob Armstrong are out with Lance Russell, Dave Brown and Bob Caudle.

Jarrett: "Well fans as we all know Jerry Lawler will face Eddie Gilbert for the USWA World Heavyweight title on Tuesday night in the Mid South Coliseum. Now we all also know how Eddie Gilbert beat Jake Roberts with but the Ref's decision is the final say in any outcome. Just to let all of the fans know Jake Roberts is in the hospital back in his hometown of Stone Mountain, Georgia and from what the doctors have said the burn on his face doesn't look that bad and he will be back soon. However we can prevent that from happening in this tournament again which we will do to preserve the honor and tradition of wrestling by this stipulation.... Doug Gilbert, Tommy Rich, and now Sid Vicious will be banned from ringside! Now I'm sure I will hear something about this but since all of those men have left the building to either get revenge or running scared they have no say in it right now and also can't appeal it. Best of luck to both men and please come out Tuesday night as we have another great week of action!"

Jimmy Golden with Robert Fuller vs Jimmy Valiant

Valiant is rocking and rolling as he hits everything but the kitchen sink on Jimmy Golden!

Valiant throws Golden off of the ropes and hits a sleeper hold on Golden!!

Golden is going out when Robert Fuller jumps on the apron....

Valiant lets go of Golden and goes over to Fuller. Valiant grabs Fuller by the tie and draws back on him and hits a big right hand and Fuller falls of the apron!

Golden comes off of the ropes and hits a huge flying knee into the back of Valiant and he hits his throat off of the top rope and falls back!

Russell: "Well fans sometimes a movie doesn't always end the way we want it to. Also the Funks will go up against Rick Morton & Robert Gibson, Tracy Smothers vs Dirty White Boy, Brian Christopher vs Chris Candido for the Southern title and...."

Brian Christopher comes out.

Christopher: "I just wanted to come out and tell everyone real quick that I really love all of you and thanks for all the support all this time throughout the tournament and Tuesday night I'm going to win that title for you fans! I hope to see all of you their and after I win I want to start something different... a new tradition in wrestling. Lance you know how when a big win happens in football or baseball all the fans storm the field?"

Lance: "Well yeah you'll see that happen from time to time.. yeah."

BC: "Well Tuesday night when I win I want all you fans at the Coliseum to storm the ring! I hope we sell it out Lance because I'd like to see what 10,000 people in one wrestling ring would look like! HAHA!"

Lance: "OHHH Yeah that would be something! Come on out Tuesday night for another great night of action, there is nothing else better in the town of Memphis and it's really a wrestling tradition we have upheld for all this time. It used to be back in the days, the good ole days you'd see a company go to the same town each and every week. Well no other major promotion still does that and we have done it here every week for over around 20 years and we want to continue to do it but we need you fans to keep coming back and we hope you join us on Tuesday night!"

An unconscious Hogan is slumped onto a gurney, covered in blood. Ric Flair mocks Hogan. "Hogan, you couldn't beat the enforcer, so you can't be the MAN. And the face the MAN, you have to beat the man, THE ENFORCER!" Hogan shakes the hand of Arn and states "Tonight, in front of all these wonderful fans, I will reveal the third MAN, the THIRD HORSEMAN!" "A Man Called Sting" plays as the Challenger, Sting, enters the ring. The referee confronts Steve Austin and Arn Anderson, telling both Horseman to head backstage or he would disqualify Flair. The two wrestlers grudgingly ascend the exit ramp. The referee, as is custom, lifts the top rope for the challenger Sting, who poses for the loving audience! </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Flair charges Sting from the Ring Bell, hitting a number of hard chops, with a particularly vicious blow sending Sting over the rope! Flair pulls himself atop the top rope and slams into Sting with a diving crossbody! The impact on the concrete floor below hurts both wrestlers, with Flair and Sting writhing in pain, and the referee begins a ten count. 1..2..3..</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Ric Flair struggles to his feet, props up Sting, but the challenger gut-checks Flair and hits the Scorpion Death Drop on the World Champion to the concrete! Sting rolls his opponent into the ring a split-second before the referee counts both competitors out. Sting climbs atop the ring post, caters to the fans before launching himself from the top ropes, but Ric Flair moves out of the way at the last second, and Sting lands on the mat face-first! Ric Flair gets up, runs the ropes, and hits a leg drop on Sting's upper thigh! The World Champion slaps on the Figure-Four, but Sting bridges out and reverses it into a Scorpion Deathlock! Flair is writhing in pain but he manages to pull his opponent over to the bottom rope and manages to score a rope break! The referee wards off a writhing, livid Sting, who struggles to his feet. Flair and Sting face off in the ring, run the ropes, with Flair ducking under a clothesline and catching the Challenger with a Shinbreaker, working over Sting's legs with several swift kicks! He moves Sting to center-ring and again locks on the Figure Four, Sting desperately tries to pull Flair to the ropes but he comes up short, and submits to the figure-four leglock! Ric Flair retains the WCW World Heavyweight Championship!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">
