Koloff had the upper hand through out most of this match. everytime Koloff performed a move on Rocky it was met by a chorus of boo from the 5000 strong crowd. The mood of the crowd changed when Rocky countered a move by Koloff and began his offensive, Koloff was unable to recover and after Rocky hit Ivan with a few suplex and a piledrive he got him in the Boston cab forcing Ivan Koloff to submit. He manages to fight off both attackers giving Andre the Giant the chance to gain composure. Both men put on a great performance to end the show, The crowd where really behind this one.For the most part both men traded offense inside the ring both the action went to the hard floor outside the ring. Fighting in fron of the crowd Billy Graham recieved a torrent of abuse from the crowd it didnt faze the guy as he continued to gain the upper hand with a couple of suplexes on the hard concreate floor and ramming Backlunds head repeatedly into the ring post opening him up blood dripping everywhere, Billy graham climbs back into the ring just as the referee counts to 10. Billy Graham has won the match but backlund is still WWF Champion and Billy graham is furious arguing in the middle of the ring before pushing him over and storming out of the arena.
