Color coding questions

I understand the color coding scheme of blue-green-yellow-orange-red and think it's great. However, there are a couple of questions about why certain things seem to be stuck at a color code: 1) coach prestige / rating - This seems to be yellow for several years. Does it ever change? How long does it take to change? Does this mean choosing Head Coach for recruiting has no effect because everyone has virtually the same rating? 2) school academics - Appears that every single team is orange. Wouldn't there be distinction among the schools? Why is it so difficult to achieve the board's expectations for all schools? Even putting in max amount for academics and holding it to one suspension per period gives me a rating of D for board expectations. How do you even get a C from them, much less a B or an A? Love the game. Am addicted to it. Just trying to figure out a few things I don't understand. :)
