Isn't hiring all the old WWE castoffs like Nash & Vader what got TNA into the position they're in in the first place? ¬_¬

Very true. But it's all in how you use them. Imagine how good, for instance, an Eli Drake would look if he defeated Kevin Nash. Or if a Rockstar Spud could beat Vader. It's just that they tried to push all of the old WWE Castoffs to the top and that's not what they should be there for. They should be in the building as Gatekeepers and people who are putting others over.

TNA IMPACT WRESTLING!

Attendance: 2,000

Overall Rating: C+

TV Rating: .57

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/AwesomeKong.jpg

[This week, TNA Impact Wrestling kicks off with the TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim coming down to the ring. The crowd cheers this woman as she enters the ring with a microphone in hand. She says that, last week, on XPlosion, she challenged Awesome Kong to meet her in the ring tonight. She says that last week Awesome Kong attacked her after a match but she is fresh and ready for her right now. So Awesome Kong come down to the ring and face her! Kim tosses the microphone from the ring and paces around, waiting for the arrival of her opponent at Final Resolution. 'Empire March' begins to play and the crowd rises, turning to the top of the ramp where Awesome Kong walks out. Kong makes a beeline for the ring, sliding in underneath the bottom rope. She goes face-to-face with Gail Kim and it only takes a moment for Gail Kim to throw a punch! Kong fires back with a forearm shot to the head. Kim with a punch! Kong with a forearm shot. Kong shoves Kim to the ropes and then catches her with a clothesline. Kong bends over to pick up Kim and Kim kicks her in the head! Kim kips up and catches Kong with a couple of forearm shots, staggering the larger wrestler! Kim quickly ascends a turnbuckle -- Missile Dropkick! Kong falls against the ropes. Kim moves in and catches Kong with a roundhouse kick, sending her through the ropes to the floor. Kim grabs the Knockouts title and raises it high in the air, celebrating knocking Awesome Kong from the ring. These two women meet in 11 days at Final Resolution for the Knockouts title!]

[From focusing on the ring, we look at the front row where Raven, Stevie Richards and Bram are moving to get settled in. All three have grim looks on their faces as they usually do. They get settled into their seats and Raven actually has a live microphone. Raven looks toward the camera and says that he knows that The Wolves want to tear him apart and rip him open after the attacks that he and his Gathering have inflicted upon them. He says that he knows that Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards now bear the scars that anyone can see when they look at them. But his own scars and the scars of Bram and Stevie Richards are ones that people cannot see. They are scarred on the inside. They are left hollow and made to feel ashamed about who and what they are. These fans support people like The Wolves. They support a team that has now come into the mainstream light. But Raven will never be mainstream. The Gathering will never be a place that normal people like to see. It will never be a place that is brought into the light. Instead, they have to live with their own darkness each and every day. But now they are going to inflict that darkness upon The Wolves and take what Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards care about. They are going to take the TNA World Tag Team Titles and bring them into the darkness of The Gathering, a safe haven for those who do not fit into this world. It will be their own Final Resolution. Quote the Raven, Nevermore!]

TNA World Title Series

Quarterfinals

Ethan Carter III vs. Davey Richards

[Our opening contest is a quarterfinals match in the TNA World Title Series. The unpinned and unsubmitted Ethan Carter III takes on one half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions Davey Richards in what is a good match with the crowd getting solidly behind Richards in this contest. Richards scores a near fall on Carter following a Lung Blower and he seems to be on the verge of getting the victory early on until Tyrus interferes, striking him with a clothesline behind the referee's back. Carter takes control, bringing Richards over with a German Suplex into a bridge that scores only a two count. He continues in control, beating Richards down both in and out of the ring. Carter goes for the One Percenter but Richards blocks the attempt. Richards suddenly lifts Carter on his shoulders -- gutbuster! Both men fall to the mat, slow to get to their feet. Referee Ric Manning begins counting both men down on the mat. They both manage to beat the count to reach their feet. A few kicks from Richards stagger back Carter. A roundhouse kick to the head sends Carter to the mat and Richards climbs the turnbuckle, releasing a howl. Richards leaps -- StevieKick from Stevie Richards! Davey leaps right into the StevieKick! Stevie slides out of the ring and the referee had been distracted by Tyrus! The crowd boos as Carter pulls himself up and grabs Richards -- One Percenter! Carter makes the cover: One, Two, Three! Ethan Carter III advances to Final Resolution!]

Winner: Ethan Carter III (Via Pinfall @ 9:26)

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/Raven.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/StevieRichards.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/Bram.jpg

[Once the bell sounds, Raven, Stevie Richards and Bram all enter the ring. They begin taking turns stomping on the prone form of Davey Richards. Raven motions to the members of his Gathering and they raise Davey, extending his arms out and holding them as Raven steps in. Raven slaps Davey again and again. The crowd boos and then those boos turn to cheers as Eddie Edwards comes running toward the ring. Edwards begins exchanging punches with all three members of The Gathering! Edwards dodges a StevieKick attempt and then kicks Stevie in the gut -- Fisherman's Buster! Edwards quickly moves to his feet and catches a low blow kick by Bram! Bram sets up Edwards for the Brighter Side of Suffering but then 'Dreamer' begins to play and the crowd turns to look at the ramp. It's Tommy Dreamer! Dreamer has a chair in hand and slides in the ring, smashing the chair to the skull of Bram! Then Dreamer goes face-to-face with Raven, his old rival. The two men look at each other for a long moment before Raven takes a step back and drops, sliding out of the ring. He ushers his Gathering back as Dreamer holds the chair up high, protecting The Wolves. The crowd cheers the TNA return of The Innovator of Violence. What a great return here tonight!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/EliDrake.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/KevinNash.jpg

[From the ring, we move to the backstage area where we see The New Franchise Eli Drake standing by. The cameraman asks him about his match with Drew Galloway this evening. Drake says that tonight is just going to be another moment of his ascent to the top of TNA Wrestling. He says that he was brought to TNA to be a member of The Rising by Drew Galloway but Galloway wanted to hold him back. He says that Galloway realized that he was the best wrestler in the Rising. Forget Micah, forget Drew Galloway. He is the new Franchise of TNA Wrestling. He says that Galloway made a huge mistake in requesting this match because it might be the last match of Galloway's career. As Drake is talking, his eyes go a little wide and he looks up, seeing the arrival of Kevin Nash! Nash looks Drake up and down for a moment and then offers him a handshake. Drake smiles and shakes hands with Kevin Nash. Nash says that he wants to talk to Drake on his way to the ring. Drake agrees and the two men walk off together to speak in private. Eli Drake versus Drew Galloway is next!]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/EliDrake.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/KevinNashM.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/DrewGalloway.jpg

Eli Drake vs. Drew Galloway

[Kevin Nash stands in the corner of Eli Drake during the match as Drake steps in the ring to take on Drew Galloway. The back and forth match has some solid in-ring action. Not surprisingly, the crowd is solidly behind Drew Galloway in this contest. The match features the talents of both men on display throughout the contest. Early in the match, Drake sends Galloway outside the ring and then distracts the official. With the official distracted, Kevin Nash grabs Galloway and sends him face-first into the ring post before tossing him back in the ring for Drake. Drake sends Galloway to the ropes and brings him down with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, scoring a two count on a pinfall attempt. Drake gets up and begins putting the boots to the chest and body of Galloway. He sends Galloway into the turnbuckle and then charges with a splash but Galloway gets out of the way and Eli Drake crashes into the turnbuckle. Galloway uses the ropes to keep his feet and then catches Drake with a short-arm clothesline. The crowd cheers loudly for Galloway as he begins to take control. Galloway catches Drake with a Northern Lights Suplex, scoring a two count. He sets up Drake for the Future Shock DDT but, instead, takes a big boot from Kevin Nash! The referee immediately calls for the bell.]

Winner: Drew Galloway (Via Disqualification @ 7:07)

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/EliDrake.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/KevinNash.jpg

[The crowd boos loudly as Kevin Nash helps Eli Drake to his feet and the two begin putting the boots to Drew Galloway. They definitely seem to be sending a message that they have joined forces together. Nash looks down at Galloway for a moment and then picks him up, tucking his head between his legs. He calls for the Power Bomb, lifting Galloway up and then dropping him to the mat with the Power Bomb! The crowd boos in the background, trying to will Galloway to his feet. Instead of getting Galloway to his feet, though, they get the arrival of Eli Drake's opponent next week in the TNA World Title Series Bobby Lashley! Lashley charges down to the ring and slides inside, catching Drake with a big clothesline! Lashley doesn't back down from Kevin Nash, catching him with punches! He whips Nash to the ropes -- big boot from Kevin Nash! Nash yanks up Lashley and sends him into a turnbuckle. Nash follows in but Lashley gets a boot up -- Spear! Lashley spears Kevin Nash! Nash grabs his ribs and rolls out of the ring. Drake is already out of the ring and the two men lean on each other. Lashley stands tall inside the ring, looking like he's ready for more action but that will have to wait until next week.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/EricYoung.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/KurtAngle.jpg

[Kurt Angle is shown walking down a corridor backstage. The crowd cheers at seeing the Olympic Gold Medalist. He turns a corner and walks into a room where he comes face-to-face with his opponent next week, Eric Young. EY says that he retired Kurt Angle! He says that Angle should NOT be here in TNA anymore. He says that he beat Kurt Angle again and again, yelling at Angle. Angle begins to respond but Young rakes his eyes and then sends him head-first into the doorjamb. Young rams Angle's head against that doorjamb three more times before grabbing him and tossing him over a table to the floor. Young leaps across the table and mounts Angle, striking him with punches on the floor, going absolutely insane on his opponent next week. Angle tries to cover up and block the punches and that just causes Young to grab a nearby pipe, striking Angle's hands and then choking him with the pipe. In the background, security can be seen entering the room, rushing to get Young off Angle. Young shouts that he will destroy Angle next week! It takes several security team members to pull Young back and hold him. Will Kurt Angle survive until next week?]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/TarynTerrell.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/BrieDanielson.jpg

Taryn Terrell vs. Brie Danielson

[Our third match of the night is Knockouts action as we see the leader of the Dollhouse Taryn Terrell take on one of the newest Knockout members Brie Danielson. The match is a one-sided affair as Danielson dominates throughout the contest. She catches Terrell with a monkey flip out of the corner and then several flying clotheslines. Danielson points to the crowd where a sign is up, reading: 'Vince fears The American Dragon!' Danielson catches Terrell with a front dropkick and then gets her on her knees. She begins throwing kicks with the crowd chanting 'YES!' with each kick she gives to Terrell. A final kick to the head sends Terrell back down to the mat. Danielson drops Terrell with a slingshot suplex and then backs into a corner, beginning the YES chants. She waits for Terrell to get to her feet -- Running Single Leg High Knee! Danielson makes the cover: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Brie Danielson (Via Pinfall @ 6:29)

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/BrieDanielson.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/BryanDanielson.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/AJBrooks.jpg

[The match is over and Brie Danielson was successful in her first TNA Knockouts match on Impact Wrestling. Danielson gets to her feet and begins throwing up the YES chants, getting the crowd solidly behind her. She climbs to the second turnbuckle in a corner, continuing the chants as someone leaps the barricade. It's AJ Brooks! These two women will go one on one at Final Resolution. Brooks has a chair and she strikes Danielson with a chair shot to the back! Danielson falls off the turnbuckle, bent over in the corner, holding her back. Brooks brings another chair shot to the back of Danielson. Brooks mocks the 'YES' chants and then steps on the right ankle of Danielson. She grabs the top rope for leverage as Danielson cries out in pain. Brooks gives a crazy smile as she releases and then looks down at Danielson. She takes her chair and hooks Danielson's right ankle in the chair before going to the top turnbuckle. Brooks begins mocking the YES chants again as she stands on the top turnbuckle. A voice cries out in the background, screaming 'NO!' It's Bryan Danielson! The owner, The American Dragon, comes out, yelling at AJ Brooks, telling her not to do it! He warns her that she will suffer if she does it. Brooks gives Bryan a crazy smile and then leaps, Pillmanizing Brie's ankle! Brie cries out in pain as Brooks stands over her. Bryan rushes to the ring and Brooks escapes the ring and runs through the crowd. Bryan calls for EMTs as he enters the ring and he cradles his wife's head on his lap as the EMTs come in. A stretcher is brought in the ring and Brie is placed upon it. The cameras follow the stretcher as it is brought to the back with Bryan Danielson to the side. He enters the ambulance with his wife and leaves the building with her, headed to the hospital.]

[We move to a different area backstage where we find CM Punk and Austin Aries talking. Aries says that Punk's girl is crazy. Punk says that she is crazy like a fox. He says that he is very proud of what his wife just did tonight. That is a way to make an impact, right? Just like the two of them are going to make an impact tonight when Aries beats that little potato and he beats Matt Hardy. The camera follows as Punk and Aries are walking in that backstage area. The new group pause as they come across the TNA World Tag Team Champions The Wolves. Punk laughs and points, saying that there go the losers. He says that there is no doubt that he and Aries are better than them. Is that so, asks Davey Richards. Aries says that you are looking at the Greatest Man That Ever Lived and the Best In The World. That means that between the two of them, they are Better Than You. Eddie Edwards asks them to prove it next week. Neither of them have a match set up for next week so how about a non title contest with The Wolves against CM Punk and Austin Aries? Punk immediately agrees, saying he could use a tune-up to his match at Final Resolution. The segment ends without any violence but that won't be the same next week.]

Match #4

Winner Advances To Ultimate X Match At TNA Final Resolution

Austin Aries vs. Spud

[A big contest here as the winner advances to the Ultimate X match at Final Resolution. Both of these men are former X-Division Champions. Aries, of course, has the advantage of having Thea Trinidad in his corner. No one wants to look bad in front of his woman, right? Early on, Aries has the advantage, sending Spud out of the ring. Aries bounces off the ropes and catches Spud with a suicide dive, knocking him back down. Aries stands up and celebrates for a moment before picking up Spud and tossing him back in the ring. Aries goes for an early Brainbuster but Spud blocks it and twists around, catching Aries with a spinning neckbreaker. Spud lifts up Aries and brings him back down with a double leg takedown. He is seemingly in full control. As the match moves forward, the momentum goes back and forth until Spud has Aries down on the mat. Spud heads to the top turnbuckle. He leaps for the Spud Splash -- Aries gets the knees up! Spud splashes right into the knees of Aries. Aries grabs Spud and hooks on the Last Chancery! The referee immediately begins asking Spud if he wants to give up but Spud refuses to submit. After having the hold on for a full minute, Aries releases and pulls up Spud -- Brainbuster! He drags Spud to a corner and then climbs to the top -- 450° Splash! Aries hooks the leg: One, Two, Three! Austin Aries is headed to Ultimate X!]

Winner: Austin Aries (Via Pinfall @ 10:16)

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/TedDiBiase.jpg

[From the ring, we move to the boardroom once again. The boardroom is still empty except for Ted DiBiase, Jr., who is standing by a window. DiBiase begins to talk without facing the camera. He says that as he was growing up, he learned from his father that everybody has a price. He learned that when someone has money they can get whatever they want, including a title. That is one reason why he has been focused on accruing money in his young life. He turns and looks toward the camera, giving a smile. He says that as the Million Dollar Son, he is coming into TNA Wrestling with a lot of advantages that other wrestlers do not have. He has the money. He has the pedigree. He has the looks of a champion. He has everything that anyone could want, including the skill that is necessary to win the day. He says that he is going to surpass what his father did and what his grandfather did. He said that when people think of DiBiase, they are going to think of the Million Dollar Son. They are going to know that everybody has a price for the Million Dollar Son. He laughs and then moves over to a seat at the table, spinning in the seat again as the camera fades to black and back to the ring for our next contest.]

[Bobby Roode is already in the ring as we come back to the ringside area. Announcers Josh Matthews and D'Angelo Dinero wonder who he will be facing this evening. A sign is shown in the background, reading: 'Sign Chuck Norris!' Vader walks out from the back and stands at the top of the ramp. He says that many people have been asking him why he has attacked Bobby Roode. He says the reason he made his attack is that Roode is considered the King of the Mountain around here. But Vader is the King of the Rocky Mountains. He will take that title from Roode, ripping it from his cold hand if he has to. But tonight is not about him. Tonight is about the man that he has met during his international travels. He says that he couldn't think of anyone better to face Bobby Roode tonight. So he would like to re-introduce to TNA, 'The Human Torture Device' Doug Williams! Williams comes out to solid boos from the crowd. He shakes hands with Vader and then heads right down to the ring to take on Bobby Roode. This should be a great one!]

Vader Selects Bobby Roode's Opponent

Doug Williams vs. Bobby Roode

[Doug Williams is making his return here to TNA as Bobby Roode's mystery opponent in our semi main event. The match is fast-paced in the beginning of the contest with several stalemates early on. Williams takes control when he strikes Roode with several European Uppercut strikes and then begins working on suplexes on the veteran Roode. Williams catches Roode with several snap suplexes in a row and then stands up, yelling at the crowd. This draws boos from the audience here at MGM before Williams continues on the assault. Williams shows some strength when he lifts Roode up and over with a gutwrench suplex, drawing a two count when he goes for the pinfall. Williams places Roode near the corner and then climbs to the top turnbuckle. He leaps for the Bomb Away Knee Drop but Roode rolls out of the way and Williams strikes the mat with his knee. He grabs it, crying out in pain. Roode pulls himself up and moves over to Williams, lifting him and bringing him down with the Roode Awakening Neckbreaker. He makes the cover but Williams gets a shoulder up. Roode lifts Williams back up to his feet -- Double R Spinebuster lays Williams back down on the mat. A sign goes up in the background, reading: 'TNA needs some A-Listers!' Roode gets to his feet and lifts Williams on his shoulders for the Roode Bomb but Williams struggles and drops down behind Roode! Williams wraps his arms around the waist of Roode from behind. He charges Roode into the turnbuckle but Roode grabs the ropes and Williams has to release, flipping backward and back up on his feet. Roode ducks a clothesline attempt and then kicks William in the gut -- Payoff! The Bridging Fisherman's Suplex has Williams' shoulders on the mat: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Bobby Roode (Via Pinfall @ 13:29)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/MattHardy.jpg

[From the ring, we move backstage where we see Matt Hardy standing by in the foreground. Hardy paces a moment and says that we are about to witness the next step in his story here in TNA. He says that when he gave up the TNA World title it was so that there would be an undisputed World Champion here in TNA. He says it was the most difficult decision that he has ever made in his life. But he promises all the Hardy fans that he will be going to TNA Final Resolution, continuing in the TNA World Title Series and becoming the rightful TNA World Heavyweight Champion once again. He says that CM Punk is a great wrestler. He's not overlooking CM Punk tonight. But the entire wrestling world knows that Matt Hardy will never die. That means that not even a great wrestler like CM Punk can defeat him. He says that tonight he will fulfill his destiny. He will win the day. Hardy turns and walks off, headed to the ring for our main event.]

TNA World Title Series

Quarterfinals

CM Punk vs. Matt Hardy

[it is main event time and what a match we have here tonight as CM Punk, alongside the crazy hot AJ Brooks, takes on Matt Hardy, who comes out here alone. The introductions are made by Jeremy Borash and the bell sounds as these two men circle each other in the ring. Two world-class athletes in the ring for a match that obviously is going to have some great back and forth action. Neither man seems to maintain a distinct advantage in the first few minutes of the contest. CM Punk rolls out of the ring to slow things down for a moment but Matt Hardy doesn't let him rest. Hardy bounces off the ropes and catches Punk with a baseball slide kick to the skull. Hardy throws up the Hardy sign for a moment and then catches Punk with a clothesline. Hardy points toward a sign in the crowd that reads: 'Hardy will never die...nor will he ever quit!' Hardy leaps up on the barricade, waiting for Punk to get to his feet. Hardy runs along the barricade but AJ Brooks steps in front of her man. This makes Hardy hesitate and then drop off the barricade. Punk shoves Brooks into Hardy. Hardy catches her and moves her to the side but gets caught with a clothesline by Punk! Punk grabs Hardy and tosses him back in the ring, joining him inside. Punk catches Hardy with a standing kneedrop across the skull. He stands up and yells at the crowd for a moment. Then he turns his attention back to Hardy and Hardy rolls him up in an inside cradle:]

[....1....

...Kickout!]

[CM Punk barely kicks out before the three count! Both men get to their feet and Hardy locks on a headlock, twisting Punk over to the mat. Hardy holds Punk down in the wear-down hold, getting a couple of near-falls until Punk twists Hardy over into a headscissors. Then a release by both men and they both get to their feet, prepared to strike but neither man moving forward. At this point, Austin Aries and Thea Trinidad walk out from the back and smile as they walk down to ringside to join AJ Brooks. The crowd loudly boos the arrival of these two. Inside the ring, Hardy gets distracted by the arrival of Aries, allowing Punk to strike with a kick to the back of the head. Punk makes a cover but only scores a two count on Hardy. Punk gets to his feet and tosses Hardy out of the ring. He gets the referee's attention but as Aries moves in toward Hardy, the referee turns and Aries backs off. Hardy slides back in the ring and Punk is all over him with a couple of elbow shots to the back of the head. Punk lifts Hardy in a delayed vertical suplex, bringing Hardy to the mat after several seconds. Punk looks to hook in the Anaconda Vice but Hardy gets to the ropes before Punk can lock the hold in. Punk remains on the advantage, bringing Hardy to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker and then heading to the top turnbuckle. Punk raises his arms in the air, paying homage to Randy Savage -- Flying Elbowdrop from the top turnbuckle connects! Punk rolls over and makes the cover:]

[....1....

....2....

...Shoulder Up!]

[The match continues with CM Punk in control until about twelve minutes into the contest. That is when Punk locks in a standing Full Nelson but Hardy has the crowd behind him and twists around, reversing the full nelson into a rear waistlock and a German Suplex! Both men lay out on the mat, breathing heavy. The referee begins the ten count on both men but both make it to their feet before the ten count and they begin exchanging punches in the middle of the ring. Hardy blocks a punch and brings Punk down with the Side Effect! Hardy gets the crowd clapping and he heads to the top turnbuckle. He looks down at Punk for a moment and then leaps -- Diving Leg Drop! Hardy makes the cover: One, Two, Kickout! Hardy questions the referee and then gets to his feet, waiting for Punk to rise up. Hardy kicks Punk in the gut and then goes for the Twist of Fate but Punk blocks it and shoves Hardy into a corner. Punk runs in and catches Hardy with the running high knee in the corner and then the bulldog! Punk points to a sign in the crowd: 'Hardyz only die sometimes!' He lifts Hardy up on his shoulders but Hardy drops back down behind him! Hardy shoves Punk in a corner and then charges -- corner dropkick! Punk staggers out of the corner and Hardy goes for another Twist of Fate but Punk blocks it again! Punk lifts Hardy up on his shoulders -- Go To Sleep! Punk makes the quick cover, hooking the leg:]

[CM Punk advances to the semi-finals of the TNA World Title Series! But what a match he had with Matt Hardy! Austin Aries enters the ring at the sound of the bell and goes right after Matt Hardy! He kicks and throws punches to the fallen Hardy and then lifts him up -- Brainbuster in the center of the ring! The crowd boos and CM Punk makes the 'Go To Sleep' motion with his hands. The crowd boos but AJ Brooks and Thea Trinidad look happy at ringside as Aries lifts Hardy up on the shoulders of CM Punk. Just as Punk is about to hit the move on Hardy, the howl of the Wolves breaks through the boos of the crowd. The Wolves come running toward the ring and slide inside as Punk drops Hardy to the mat. Both sides exchange punches and kicks and chops. Davey Richards clotheslines Punk over the top rope to the floor and then both Wolves turn their attentions to Austin Aries! Aries looks worried as he's stuck in the ring with both Wolves. He tries to escape the ring but he gets grabbed by Matt Hardy! Hardy hits Aries with the Twist of Fate! The Wolves step in and drop Aries with the Force of Nature, the Power Bomb/Lung Blower combination! The Wolves shove Aries out of the ring and stand tall alongside Matt Hardy inside the ring. All three release howls and celebrate as the show comes to a close. We'll see you for TNA XPlosion!]

Taped from Fort Pierce Armory, Fort Pierce, FL.

Broadcast via Fuel TV at Evening...

TNA presents...

TNA XPLOSION!

TNA XPlosion begins with a recap from the main event of TNA Impact Wrestling. That main event featured CM Punk taking on Matt Hardy. It was a highly competitive match between these two athletes. It was definitely back and forth as both men seemed to have chances to win the contest. It ended when CM Punk dropped Hardy with the Go To Sleep and got the pinfall victory to advance in the World Title Series.

Match 1

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Tigre Uno defeated Kenny King in 6:29 by pinfall with a 450° Splash. Tigre Uno makes defence number 6 of his TNA X-Division title.=D

From the ring, we move to a pre-taped video that focuses on Robbie E. The man from New Jersey says he has learned a lot since his arrival here in TNA. He learned that you can't trust even a man you considered your best friend. He found that out when Jessie turned on him and left him laying. He says that he is looking for more revenge to put that meathead down on the mat. That's what's going to happen tonight. Robbie E does the fist pump and then we head to the ring.

Match 2

In an extremely poor match, Robbie E defeated Jessie in 5:46 by pinfall with a Super Kick.=E+

A pre-taped video is shown that seems to have happened following Impact Wrestling. The interview catches up with Kurt Angle, who was attacked by Eric Young earlier in that night. Angle says that he has dealt with Eric Young time and time again. He says that he's not afraid of Young. He has never been afraid of anyone. He is the man who won his Olympic Gold Medal with a broken fricking neck. He says that Eric Young is not going to stop him from taking the TNA World Title one more time. It's real. It's damn real.

Match 3

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Stevie Richards and Bram defeated Manik and Chris Melendez in 5:49 when Bram defeated Chris Melendez by pinfall with a Velvet Noise.=D-

We go to another pre-taped interview that is focused on Bobby Roode, The It Factor of Professional Wrestling. Roode says so that is why Vader has attacked him? Because he is the King of the Mountain? Well, Roode says, he is willing to put that King of the Mountain title on the line against any wrestler, including the legend that is called Vader. As far as Vader's upcoming match on Impact Wrestling this week, he has a big surprise for Vader in that match. No one outsmarts The It Factor.

Match 4

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Doug Williams defeated Ultimo Dragon in 10:10 by pinfall with a Chaos Theory.=C-

Following the match, Doug Williams grabs a microphone and quickly announces to the world that he has spoken with Bryan Danielson and he is now entered in the X-Division title Ultimate X match. He said that he plans to become a three time X-Division champion by beating all the other competitors. He says that he is going to prove that the best wrestlers come from Great Britain.

To end the show, the announcers discuss this week's Impact Wrestling, which will include matches such as CM Punk and Austin Aries versus The Wolves in non-title action, Vader faces a wrestler of Bobby Roode's choosing, Eric Young takes on Kurt Angle and more! Make sure you tune in on Destination America this Wednesday night for another live Impact!

Great to see Doug Williams back! He's a fantastic mat wrestler and a really entertaining dude. He'll be helpful in getting guys over for sure. :)

He was definitely one that I wanted to bring in early on. He is a fantastic wrestler in general. He will be able to help build up some of my guys on their wrestling and others in their overness. Thanks for the comment, Kijar!
