Thank you everyone, there is a lot of updates to the DB then just the characters, proper pre-game history has been added for C-Girl, LVFF, & AWFC. GFE was added in Japan and have been very active since the closing of C-Girl in 1997. GFE introduced the first female Atom weight division as well.

"Big Beast" Demian Valdez is a stout Jiu Jitsu fighter from Brazil. A walking tank; Valdez combines power with good submission and ground control abilities. Even though his discipline and background is Jiu Jitsu, you do not want "Big Beast" to touch your chin at any cost.

Saniya 'Heat Beast' Halliwell is an American Freestyle Wrestling athlete who started competing in MMA in early 1996. Saniya has more comfortable in cage than a ring. She hasn't had much success under LVFF but has been a mainstay under the AWFC promotion. She's is nicknamed 'Heat Beast' by fans not just for her small and stocky size but for the ferocity she rushes at her challengers at the beginning of the match.

Pro Record: 7-4-0-0

When I do release it any new characters after this will be in packages to be bought on Patreon, I don't have it setup yet but I still have a lot of free renders to cover. If I can pump out 25 renders a month I'll be happy. These renders are all pretty much practice so I can find my art style. I have a lot of fun making females, I need to practice doing more males though. Body hair takes a while to render and Demian Valdez has a lot of it. I actually have had more issues with obese characters (BMI) compared to the smaller ones (4'x - 5'4) now since I've been able to practice with them.

'The Brouhaha' Clariss Organ is a High Level Kick Boxing athlete from Canada who achieved much of her success before C-Girl's closing in 1997. She roughly transferred over to AWFC’s Cage style matches and did quite well improving her standing skills. Considered one of the first female Kick Boxers from Canada to join MMA, she brings an uncontrollable flare into every fight which makes her kind of menacing. Clariss is mainly a pure striker with an excellent standing game. Even though she has a deplorable overall ground game, overtime she learned to make good use of knee strikes when she isn't traditionally standing.

Pro Record: 8-7-0-0

I've been paying close attention to each fighters Height/Weight Body Mass Index and other stat values for each render. The render for Clariss is really 5'2 and with a Best Weight of 118lbs she really is that thick for her general stats. She's flexible though and has good strong punches as long as she is standing. Also she is a Loose Cannon, which is something I'll capture more so in the face shot render.

I'm pretty pumped for the update just for the new fighters. I likely won't use the new DB since I'm already actively in a game and I don't wanna start over. But I'll definitely import all the new fighters you're teasing.

Nope, not yet. I just finished up the complete GFE (Female) Lightweight roster yesterday which consist of Atom and Straw Weights. Total character count is at 2899 right now. After I make sure the pre-game history is set I'll start making the renders for the rest of the roster. I'll try to make a pre-release of the DB in the meantime.

 

I'm pretty pumped for the update just for the new fighters. I likely won't use the new DB since I'm already actively in a game and I don't wanna start over. But I'll definitely import all the new fighters you're teasing.

Cool I'm happy to hear that! I've got a ton more fighters incoming. As far as other updates go there are a lot of additions to the pre-game history and adding Girl Fights Entertainment as a company in Japan since late 1997. GFE made perfect sense to add since many female fighters start to debut during that time. There are still lots of things I need to change in the DB though that need to be done before I can release the DB itself so that right now is my main focus. That is why I've held off posting more renders for the time being.

Pan-Asian National Dojo Arena

Pan-Asian National Dojo Arena or 'PANDA' MMA for short is a East Asian promotion that features a ten minute match before breaking up into several 5 minute rounds. They focus on a much smaller number of weight classes compared to other promotions that are just as big.

PANDA MMA is just a extra random company I made, feel free to make it into any thing you want.

 

UPDATE:

-Wanted to let you all know that C-Girl shuts down in 1997 and gets replaced by WEFF. In its place GFE Exists in Japan. Companies that didn't have a roster at the start of the game won't be active in the beginning.

-I'm currently purging fighters who have too many attributes especially those that don't make sense. I'm trying to make the limit 4 at the most and if fighters have multiple backgrounds I'll choose the one or two that make more sense. This has required me to open up a separate copy of the DB to track down fighters who have more than 4-5 attributes listed.

I just updated the database real quick, the picture DB won't be updated just yet until I here feedback on the new DB changes; feel free to use the pictures I posted on the forum to fill in characters and the PANDA company who should have pictures. I was gonna use Patreon to sell new renders but I decided that my Deviant Art page would be much better since you at least get a preview of what your getting.

The added TV broadcasters for very low level promotions are for the most part kinda irrelevant money wise, but even the insignifigant level PPV broadcasters can bring in absurd amounts of money even for a completely unknown company. I'm talking make your yearly expenses in one or two monthly shows levels of profit. I think it's probably best if they are removed and PPVs only happen for companies that take High Regionals and above.</p><p> </p><p>

Unless they're intended as AI crutches and the user isn't supposed to be using them houserule-wise?</p>

Is this still being molded and updated? Since the last version of O+ integrated in CVE I've made several minor tweaks and additions. It's not worth releasing but I'll send it over if you feel like rehashing the whole thing (given it takes some time to properly integrate a full mod like O+). If not I'll just send the new renders so those can be added to the main DL at least.

 

edit: Using Access, I also compiled a listing of all size/reach differences to mimick the real life data that is currently on the UFC site to ensure it's somewhat realistic (with standarddeviation and everything :p). Maybe someone should do the work for the male side of CVE. Sometimes there's freak listings that are simply impossible (for instance: 5f5 with 72 reach), which can be tracked and corrected using Access.

This is so great! Thank you so much! This makes WMMA4 playable for me. Would a mod like this be able to be converted to WMMA5 when it comes out? I'm not sure if converting mods is possible. I hope it is! I'm not talking about keeping my specific game, but instead being able to play this mod in WMMA5.

Awesome! I love this mod!

 

Do you recommend having regeneration on? I'm not a fan of having generic workers but I'm wondering if the game is starting to have too few workers.

I still had many more people I made but never got to release. I'm hoping to build a desktop computer that will let me render out characters in Nvidia I-Ray much more quickly. The Characters I did make have been rendered in 3Delight.</p>

I have like 99 missing pictures, 83 of which are Active Fighters including Bartosz Symanski who I'm pretty sure has a picture given he's from FivePacks.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The only reason his picture may have been removed is because it was a duplicate. I removed a F'Ton of images that were the same for fighters who made sense. Other then adding new fighters I was making new renders for the fighters who didn't have unique images.</p>

Later this year I'm going to redo this mod from the ground up. Sorry my images disappeared, you can find the on my deviant art page in the meantime.

 

I will also remake all my renders in iray if I find it worthwhile to do. My objective is to try and do a render/character a day I just been needing to build a much faster PC.
