Congrats Crownsy

Quite the finale this season. Certainly didn't expect Bananas to keep the money. If this wasn't a scripted finale then that was a f'd up move. His justification that it was the same as Sarah did to him was BS too. She put him in an elimination where he could have easily have won and kept playing, he just stole her half of the money.

Also, Vince coming in second is the worst outcome. He's going to start thinking he's accomplished something now.

Oh well, was kind of a boring season, hope they stay away from rivals/exes formats for awhile.

I actually waited to read the spoilers until after the draft this time. When I found out that Johnny did what he did, I was not surprised at all. Yes his excuse was complete bull but that is what you can expect from him. I mean from what I read these shows are his main source of income so I have to believe that had to factor into his decision as well (He was pissed off because he wanted to do Battle of the Seasons a few years back but nobody from his original season wanted to do it. Which makes sense because they are all probably in their early to mid-30's now.). I mean I do not know how much he cleared after taxes but it still has to be a pretty good amount of money (I believe the Survivor winner makes about $650,000 after taxes). I do not really feel bad for Sarah either though. I mean she knew what she was getting into and she pretty much co-signed all of his actions during the season. Like the bullying of Cheyenne. Sarah seems to have major self-esteem issues and she said so as much on the after show when she talked about how she wanted to fit in with the cool kid. I found that to be very pathetic, seeing how she is in her 30's, she's a married woman who is clearly smart (She's going to Grad School) and yet she still wants to be viewed as being cool. I read that they are trying to film the next season in October and they are having a tough time getting people to sign up due to the whole, "You can screw your teammate" thing. From what I read about the next season the potential cast is going to be pretty weak do to folks not wanting to do the show. I love how Vince thought he was not dragged in this game. If the dude thinks that he was not helped then he is delusional. I did not realize how pretty Cheyenne was until watching her on the after show.

Late to replying since the Wife and I only caught the final this weekend.

Johnny really shocked me. While I always knew he would play the game and stab anyone in the back, I really thought he would split it.

And this just shows how much of a hypocrite he is, as if it needed to be said. Everything he said about needing the money, not knowing how many he has left, ect applies to Sarah. And it would have been the exact same spiel i he had the chance to screw her last year. He's just mad he got outplayed last year, and got "even".

TLdr: Bananas is a jackoff. I'm glad he won it for me, but he sucks.
