I've got Pillman up to main event in my AWA save and really want to make him a world champion but he isn't willing to move up a weight class to Middleweight atm and I don't want to lower the weight restrictions to any lower either just to keep with the 'you need to be big to be a champion' ordeal from the 90s of wrestling <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Great to see his been a world champion on your WWF save. And I can imagine this Frank Castle gimmick, it would be awesome:D Question though; Is Castle a face or heel? I imagine he'd be pushed sort as a 'tweener' though due to the whole anti-hero thing lol</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Pillman wont move up for me either, but it doesn't really matter. I understand why you are booking your way. Triple H has been caught on steroids a couple of times and he wont move up. Strange. I just sped the new generation up a bit and if you're worthy then you will get a chance.</p><p> </p><p> Glad you're enjoying the updates. I like to think booking Tyson vs Austin is not going too far outside the box. We did have LT and Bam Bam, after all. I like to do my version of things. I even sacrificed a lot of attendance by having it in the Hartford Civic Center</p><p> </p><p> Brian Pillman has been one of my all time greats in this current save/any save. I didn't have plans to make him world champion. Things fell into place for him when Hogan left. Before that, while I was doing all those Hollywood Blonds segments, he would usually get the ''real star'' rating and outshining Austin a lot of the time. I can get creative with Pillman. Some angles might sound ridiculous, but I believe he can make them work.</p><p> </p><p> I'd like to turn him face some time. The Hollywood Blonds to reunite for a match. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I just think he is too valuable as a heel. Even with the Kliq and Scott Steiner. </p><p> </p><p> Frank Castle is a heel/tweener. He has his code, would never threaten a ring announcer, woman or interviewer, etc. Wont gang up on an opponent. Having Vince as his mentor has really sped things up, his interview skills are now up to 87. I got lucky one Raw, before the show he got a boost from Vince and then invented a catchphrase. Sweet. </p><p> </p><p> Austin would be the face version. I'm booking him like real life only not as over the top. We are not going to see Castle give anybody the bird, etc. I'm sure they will clash in the future. What will happen if Austin gives Castle the bird? Only time will tell. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="merrykieran2" data-cite="merrykieran2" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Just wondering do you turn off booking times?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I keep the times turned on or else I would lose the plot. I'd end up doing 7 hour shows just to fit everything in. I like to keep it some what realistic. Matches just have to be sacrificed and shortened a bit, but it is not that hard for Wrestlemania since it has a 4 hour length and a lot of the hype videos are done on pre show. Wrestlemania gets all the special treatment. Most expensive set, celebrity and music acts. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>I usually try to run 6 'big' PPVs and 6 other PPVs when I'm WWF (Jan: Rumble, Mar: Mania, May: KOTR, Jul: SSlam, Sep: ???, Nov: SSeries) but have always been looking for a good September event. In post-WCW saves, I go with Starrcade, and up until now pre-WCW buyout, I've used Saturday Night Main Event as the sixth big show. In my latest Montreal Aftermath show, I have moved SNME to the Saturday before Wrestlemania to make that an even bigger weekend, which left a gap in September, which I have decided to fill with a two-night tag team tournament called the WWF Tag Team Classic. Here are the event and belt pictures if anyone else wants them:</p><p> </p><p>

Just cut Tommy Cornell(Donnie J is now my road agent) and Christopher Ball(1k is waaay too much for a jobber who lost locker room leader status and has no above average top row skills) to save money while I fast track my growth with a TV show at Regional. Stuntman got poached by my war rival IWC, and Seignour Richard went to one of the big feds(bye bye A* star quality, time to train Dustin Deuce's charisma to figurehead levels if I can, unless Bret Heartbreak scouts better).

<p>So after following Alan's exploits for some time I decided to start a game on Rising Storm, I am gonna keep fairly tight to history till Mainia, then use that as my jump off. </p><p> </p><p>

Hired a butt load of talent though that are gonna replace some of the old duffers.</p><p> </p><p>

Hired:</p><p>

Art Barr (teaming with Eddy as La Pareja del Terror)</p><p>

Brian Pillman (Teaming with Austin as The Hollywood Blondes)</p><p>

Chris Benoit (Teaming with Malenko)</p><p>

Chris Jericho (Teaming with Storm)</p><p>

Dean Malenko (Teaming with Benoit)</p><p>

Eddy Guerrero (Teaming with Art as La Pareja del Terror)</p><p>

Jerry Lynn</p><p>

Lance Storm (Teaming with Jericho)</p><p>

Owen Hart</p><p>

Scott Hall (as Razor Ramon)</p><p>

Steve Austin (Teaming with Pillman as The Hollywood Blondes)</p><p>

Steven Regal</p><p> </p><p>

Already planning past Mainia to the jump off, likely gonna see The Hart Foundation at Mainia/slightly after and Bret go off on his singles push.</p><p> </p><p>

The Hollywood Blondes will likely take the titles in the near future.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm going to change a few things at Mainia, Savage is going to beat Warrior then feud with Hogan for the title after Mainia and we'll likely see Boss Man take the IC title, he'll likely drop to Michael's once Michael's turns heel.</p><p> </p><p>

I'll be building to Hogan vs Taker at Summerslam with Taker taking the gold.</p>

<p>I'm in October 2018 in my EX2010 save. This year in my save I had my best match at one of my March events: Masao Tsubouchi defeated Orange Tsuchie (my user character) in a 90 rated match!</p><p> </p><p>

I've been steadily rising to regional size and should make it there by the end of the year since I'm doing two events each month. Hey, I still have over 9 million dollars so why not do two events a month?</p><p> </p><p>

Unfortunately, WLW rise to national size in September so they pillage some of my talent including breaking up two of my tag teams by signing Japanese Phoenix and Jimmy Stratosphere.</p><p> </p><p>

It wasn't a total loss since I signed some more talent including Marcel LeFleur and Nobuharu Yokokawa. I've also been unsuccessful at mending the tension between Kaii Hanari and Musashi since Kaii received a medium concussion from Musashi in August. It kind of sucks too since he's one half of the tag team champions the DISCO Boys. Kaii comes back in 18 days though so it's not too long until he comes back now.</p><p> </p><p>

One last thing: Pretty Okakura won the Grand Prix title in August and he will eventually win the Junior Heavyweight title from Masao Tsubouchi.</p><p> </p><p>

All in all, a great save so far.</p>

<p>For the second year in a row, my WWF Tag Team Classic tournament produced incredible results.</p><p> </p><p>

Last years tournament saw the Legion of Doom defeat Demolition in the finals, which turned out to be the match of the year.</p><p> </p><p>

1987's version had a tough time topping it, but I think it might have. Featuring a 12 team version of the tournament, the finals would be a 3-way match with the WWF Tag Team champions High & Mighty (Jake Roberts and Rick Rude) taking on the team they've been feuding with for the past two months, The Mega-Powers of Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. The third team, King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd were hoping that the bad blood between those two teams would let them slip in and take home the tournament victory but High & Mighty proved them wrong, earning the victory to go along with their WWF Tag titles.</p>

<p>April 2029, big plans for my main event title. Zel Quinn currently has it with 6 defenses, tied for my record. A record I don't want him breaking. Dustin Deuce(now Diamond Deuce) may just be my next figurehead if he can train that charisma stat. Season finale scheduled for August with my tournament title in July, so I'm giving Quinn a kayfabe injury and I'll stick him on commentary to keep his storyline going and pump Deuce's success up.</p><p> </p><p>

Bret Heartbreak just won his na na na na goodbye feud over Bullseye who isn't worth keeping without his awesome tag chemistry with Gravedigga. Hoping to scout out his camera skills since they show as excellent, he may be my figurehead since he's only 31 right now.</p><p> </p><p>

Not sure what to do with the tag titles, currently sitting with Brown Pride. My only face team consists of Deuce and another main eventer, and one of my tag teams has a guy I want to push to the midcard title. Will either keep them main event or bring in my first discovered tag chemistry Cheech Kong and Devyn Retribution, The Chosen Ones.</p><p> </p><p>

Bringing in young workers for tryouts, haven't found another NBT in awhile.</p>

So after running APW for just under four years, I built them to cult. I quickly realized that I was beginning to lose too much money and I didn't really have any new things to do with the promotion, so I moved on and opened a new lucha promotion in Mexico.

This lasted for nearly two years, which included my champion (and COTT champion) Blue Phantom dying in a freak gardening accident after about a year, which was quite a blow for me as he was my most popular guy and was putting on the best matches.

After that company eventually going bankrupt (I was only about two months away from getting us back in the black) I'm taking this as a hint to start a new game.

Still, over five years is definitely the longest I've played in game time.

I built an integrated federation from scratch using TheWho87's mod. I'm fudging on money, but running a new fed has been nearly impossible on my other attempts and I'm having a lot of fun. I've made it to small size, and Sonjay Dutt is my current champion. It's been running for a while now, long enough to have Hall of Famers, who currently include Amazing Kong, Angel Williams/Angelina Love, Brian Myers/Curt Hawkins, and Dutt.

The whole thing is built around the idea of "what if a wrestling fed had rankings like boxing" and I only book outcomes when a wrestler asks for a push. That worked just fine for a while but eventually my wrestlers kept getting booked against the same opponents over and over so I still try my best to stick to the rankings but book them against the closest opponent that they haven't wrestled recently.

Current top five are:

Sonjay Dutt

The Latvian Proud Oak

JTG

Brian Myers

Amazing Kong

The Latvian Proud Oak is up there against all odds. He asked for a push ages ago and still lingers up there winning matches despite only being a midcarder. He's hugely over with the crowd so good for him.

My current goal is to push Talia Madison/Velvet Sky because she's suited to be my company figurehead but needs more momentum. Going to give her the strap as soon as my booking rules permit.

<p>Here are my next big things. Yes, some of the pictures are not right. There was no way I was giving Frank Castle the old Bubba with glasses picture. No idea how old Helms is in his picture. </p><p> </p><p>

Neo is the regen I was talking about. He got 72 for a loss to Warlord and another 80 to follow that with a sell job. Unbelievable stats already. Future Wrestlemania headliner possibly. Willing to move up a weight as well. </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="nbt.png" data-src="https://s15.postimg.org/3p4fjdaxn/nbt.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Agreed with the potential for Erik Watts to make money. Part of my top face tag team right now and even though Kimberly dumped them for the Kliq, I still see good things in their future.</p><p> </p><p>

No idea who the chosen King will be this year. Mabel aint on my radar. Owen didn't really do anything with it even though it should have been easy. I guess Pillman was just too hard to beat. Coming out on stage on a horse takes number one spot on all future video tapes and DVDS. I should do something with it this year. Here are the 8 qualifiers. Owen gets in without qualifying since he is defending champion.</p><p> </p><p>

Edge </p><p>

Owen Hart </p><p>

Scott Steiner</p><p>

Rob Van Dam </p><p>

Erik Watts </p><p>

Mankind </p><p>

Jeff Hardy </p><p>

Otis Apollo </p><p> </p><p>

One more SNME to go before KOTR. Wrestlemania 11 was another amazing show and the semi main and the main event both got in the 90s. 99 for Bret vs Pillman and 92 for Austin vs Tyson. I got a rare 'unbelievable' match note. You can say this is cheating since I boosted Tyson stats. I have the previous shows to show off my master booking skills. I don't have grandmaster skills or maybe I could have got 92 without editing his stats. It was a once in a lifetime deal. </p><p> </p><p>

The SNME following Wrestlemania </p><p> </p><p>

Frank Castle did get the win over The Undertaker in their cage rematch. I made the story that Castle is at home in the cage, but he didn't over sell it or anything. The Undertaker did not take a mood swing following the loss. Happy days. </p><p> </p><p>

Bret Hart vs Brian Pillman had rematch for the WWF title. Bret won again and Pillman is now doing the disappearing act. So valuable to me. I think some time off is needed. </p><p> </p><p>

Shawn Michaels defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin in a number one contender match. Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels coming at King of the ring. Triple H interfered to start off a feud with Austin. Thinking Austin will eventually beat him to win the IC title. He didn't win it on his way up and I see my IC title as a main event prize now. </p><p> </p><p>

Shawn and Kid defeated Adrenaline to win the tag team titles at Wrestlemania. The next night, I had them vacate because I botched by giving them the titles in the first place. Razor and Diesel are together as The Outsiders. They defeated Adrenaline to win the vacant tag team titles. </p><p> </p><p>

Randy Savage split after a no contest with Raven at SNME. I should have given Savage the dq win. He asked for a release right away and I just couldn't grant it because Warrior is on vacation and I don't want WCW increasing their points. Savage will have to wait for 3 months until his contract is over. </p><p> </p><p>

Next SNME </p><p>

The main event will be Bret and Owen vs Shawn Michaels and Kid. Raven (TV champion) vs Frank Castle, Neo vs The Warlord, RVD (jr heavyweight champion) vs 2 Cold Scorpio, Too Cool vs Edge and Christian, The Outsiders ( tag champions) vs The Hardy Boys.</p>

Hey Everyone,

Done this the other day but forgot to post it but I've finally booked AWA SuperClash VII. The event went great as The Diamond Studd defeated JJ Southern to win back the AWA World Heavyweight title as the match got a 90. (My Semi main event between Pillman & Lord Steven Regal got a 91) The final rating for the PPV was 96 (A*)

I'm now in August 1991 and these are the on-going feuds.

Light Heavyweight Invitational:

After Brian Pillman won back the Light Heavyweight Championship at SuperClash VII for the 8th time in his career. Soon after AWA CEO Danny Davis (he took over AWA when Gagne retired) announced that due to the number of solid competitors for the belt anyone can challenge for it at any time. Danny Davis. This feud has saw many of the top lightweights such as Regal, Derrick Dukes, Eddie Guerrero, Jerry Lynn, Rey Misterio Jr, RVD and Shawn Michaels all steal the show with the great moves they possess. As of now Pillman is still the current Light Heavyweight champion, but at the end of it all will he be able to come out on top in this battle of the most electrifying division in recent history?

Top Guns vs. Albanos Army:

In June 1991 the two giants of Albanos Army, Sid Vicious & The Enforcer (Masked gimmick I'm using for Kevin Nash for now) defeated The Ebony Experience to win the Gagne Tribute Trophy in the 5th Team Challenge Series. Due to winning this, Lou Albanos Army was guaranteed a title shot against the current AWA World Tag Team champions, The Top Guns. This looked like the hardest battle The Top Guns would have to face due to the giant size of these two men. A month later at the July PPV (War In The Windy City) The Top Guns was finally face to face with Sid Vicious and The Enforcer. After taking a massive beating however The Top Guns still managed to retain as the match was thrown out after chaos between both teams spurred out of control outside of the ring. As the match ended in double DQ Lou Albano struck a deal with AWA CEO, Danny Davis for a re-match to ensure a victor comes out of this battle. Davis agreed and therefore announced at the August PPV (Welcome To Tokyo, this is a new PPV replacing Pro Wrestling USA, this will be the first AWA PPV outside of the United States in my save) The Top Guns would take on Albanos Army in a No DQ match. (I Will be putting Albanos Army over so I can then begin a feud between Albanos Army vs. The Ebony Experience)

The Ultimate Warrior vs. Ted DiBiase:

The Warrior defeated both members of The Orient Express in a 3-Way match at SuperClash VII, thus ending the Orient Express and beginning the era of the Ultimate Warrior after successfully defending his AWA International Television championship. CEO Danny Davis then announced that on the next weeks episode of AWA Championship wrestling a #1 contenders match will take place between Ted DiBiase vs. the longest reigning AWA International Television champion, Tom Prichard. Ted DiBiase defeated Prichard to earn a shot at the belt, then DiBiase began taunting and interfering in The Warriors matches to make sure his in no condition to win at the July PPV. However, DiBiase was unsuccessful in this as The Warrior managed to successfully defend his title against DiBiase. The AWA Championship Wrestling show after the July PPV saw DiBiase hinting to the AWA crowd and The Warrior he will be taking that belt from The Warrior at the 'Welcome To Tokyo' PPV with a little help. The Ultimate Warrior brushed off these threats as he wasn't going to let DiBiase get into his head. (Ted DiBiase will win the belt at the PPV thanks to help of the debuting Million Dollar Corporation. I do not know who will be part of it yet apart from Paul Diamond, but I may sign Virgil to replay his role from his WWF days. The feud won't end there though as the feud will then consist of The Ultimate Warrior fighting to not only get his belt back but to also put a stop to the Million Dollar Corporation.

The Diamond Studd vs. JJ Southern:

After a fantastic main event at SuperClash VII it helped cap off a grand victory for The Diamond Studd after defeating the cocky JJ Southern who still boasts his the greatest wrestler in the world. JJ Southern has not gave up his battle with The Studd however as he has made it clear his coming back for the championship. The two met at the Team Challenge Series PPV in June in a 30-minute Iron Match to main event the PPV following all the tag team action. The match ended in a draw after 30-minutes with both men scoring one fall each. At the July PPV the main event was once against a War Games match after it was absent from last years War In The Windy City PPV. JJ Southern teamed with fellow Albano Army allies, Sid & The Enforcer who done double duty that night and also enlisted the help of The Undertaker and Vader to help in the War Games battle against The Diamond Studd, Diamond Dallas Page, JT Southern and Kole & Kane (The Ebony experience) JJ Southerns team however came out on top. At the August PPV JJ Southern & The Diamond Studd will once again meet in an iron man match, but this time... a 60-Man Iron Man match. (Will once again be a draw, thus setting up a match between the duo with no time limit, no DQ's, etc.

So that's the run down on my AWA Update guys, really loving this save at the moment. in TEW 2013 I found myself going through numerous saves until I stayed interested in it, however this was my first save in TEW 2016 and I have stayed interested all the way through. :o
